ICAO has recommended the introduction of New CNS/ATM based on GNSS technologies and Data link communication to purpose increasing air traffic demand. The CNS/ATM is composed of communication, Navigation, Surveillance and Air Traffic Management. Cockpit Display Traffic Information(CDTI) that is equipment to share air traffic information to Pilot, Traffic Controller and ground vehicles has been built based on Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast(ADS-B) information in Surveillance field. This paper is research that what is the effect between pilot and controller through CDTI. Based on ATC communication between Pilot and Controller, We construct simulation environment and did a comparative analysis of it. according to result, We can verify that CDTI makes aircraft Call sign, Position, Altitude information read rate, and notice of air traffic information between Pilot and Controller more improve than ATC environment and Existing Radar System.
Although GNSS hardware and software technologies have been steadily advanced, it is still difficult to obtain reliable positioning results in the area with lots of signal blockage. In this study, algorithms for integrated GPS and GLONASS double difference relative positioning were developed and its performance was validated via simulations of signal blockages. We assumed that signal blockages are caused by high-rise buildings to the east, west, and south directions. And then, GPS-only and integrated GPS/GLONASS positioning accuracy was analysed in terms of 2-dimensional positioning accuracies. Compared with GPS-only positioning, the positioning accuracy of integrated GPS/GLONASS improved by 0.3-13.5 meters.

A GNSS/INS integration system can not provide navigation solutions if there are no available satellites. To overcome this problem, a vision sensor is integrated with this system. Since generally a vision aided integration system uses only feature point to compute navigation solutions, it has a problem in observability. In this case, additional landmarks, which is priory known points, can improve the observability. In this paper, the observability is evaluated using TOM/SOM matrix and Eigenvalues. There are always the observability problems in the feature-point-only case, but the landmark-use case is fully observable after the $2^{nd}$ update time. Consequently the landmarks ensure full observability, so the system performance can be improved.
A 2U cube satellite called SNUGLITE has been developed by GNSS Research Laboratory in Seoul National University. Its main mission is to perform actual operation by mounting dual-frequency global positioning system (GPS) receivers. Its scientific mission aims to observe space environments and collect data. It is essential for a cube satellite to control an Earth-oriented attitude for reliable and successful data transmission and reception. To this end, an attitude estimation and control algorithm, Attitude Determination and Control System (ADCS), has been implemented in the on-board computer (OBC) processor in real time. In this paper, the Extended Kalman Filter (EKF) was employed as the attitude estimation algorithm. For the attitude control technique, the Linear Quadratic Gaussian (LQG) was utilized. The algorithm was verified through the processor in the loop simulation (PILS) procedure. To validate the ADCS algorithm in the ground, the experimental verification via a single axis Hardware-in-the-loop simulation (HILS) was used due to the simplicity and cost effectiveness, rather than using the 3-axis HILS verification (Schwartz et al. 2003) with complex air-bearing mechanism design and high cost.
The trend of water vapor contents in atmosphere is one of key elements for studying climate change. The tropospheric products, i.e., ZTD values achieved through GPS data processing can retrieve the amount of water vapor with higher temporal and spatial resolution than any other instruments. In this study, the tropospheric products of KASINET for a time period from 2001 to 2014 are reprocessed using PPP strategy and the products from the CODE's 2nd reprocessing campaign. For consistency with reprocessing activities of other networks like EPN, the VMF1 mapping function and non-tidal loading effect due to atmospheric pressure are applied in the process. The reprocessing results are investigated through comparing with the CODE's 2nd reprocessing products by including some IGS stations in the process and also calculating weekly coordinate repeatability to see the quality of the processing. After removing outliers based on the variation of averaged formal error, all processed stations have similar variations of formal error about 2 mm which is lower than that of the IGS final product. Comparison results with the CODE's 2nd reprocessing products show that the overall mean difference is found to be -0.28±5.54 mm which is similar level of the previous studies. Finally, the ZTD trends of all KASINET stations are calculated and the averaged trend is achieved as 0.19 mm/yr. However, the trend of each month shows different amounts and directions from -1.26 mm/yr in May to 1.18 mm/yr in August. In conclusion, the reprocessed tropospheric product and applied strategy of this study has enough quality as one of reliable solution for a reference product for Korean Peninsula which is needed to use GPSbased tropospheric product for climate change research.

In this paper, we derive the CRLB (Cramer-Rao Lower Bound) of effective carrier-to-noise power ratio ($C/N_0$) estimation for a GPS (Global Positioning System) L1 C/A (Coarse/Acquisition) signal under band-limited white noise jamming environments. The quality of a received GPS signal is commonly described in terms of its $C/N_0$, implying that the noise is white and thus can be described by scalar noise density. However, if some intentional interference is received to a victim GPS receiver, then the $C/N_0$ is no longer the efficacious performance indicator. The correct and straightforward measurement to analyze the receiving situation is the effective $C/N_0$. In this paper, we consider a band-limited white noise jamming whose bandwidth is 2MHz and is the same as one of the first null-to-null bandwidth of the GPS L1 C/A signal.

EU's Galileo project is a market-based GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) that is under development. It is expected that Galileo will provide the positioning services based on new technologies in 2020s. Because Galileo E1 signal for OS (Open Service) shares the same center frequency with GPS L1 C/A signal, CBOC (Composite Binary Offset Carrier) modulation scheme is used in the E1 signal to guarantee interoperability between two systems. With E1 signal consisting of a data channel and a pilot channel at the same frequency band, there exist several options in designing signal acquisition for Assisted-Galileo receivers. Furthermore, compared to SNR worksheet of Assisted-GPS, some factors should be examined in Assisted-Galileo due to different correlation profile and code length of E1 signal. This paper presents SNR worksheets of Galileo E1 signals in E1-B and E1-C channel. Three implementation losses that are quite different from GPS are mainly analyzed in establishing SNR worksheets. In the worksheet, hybrid long integration of 1.5s is considered to acquire weak signal less than -150dBm. Simulation results show that the final SNR of E1-B signal with -150dBm is 19.4dB and that of E1-C signal is 25.2dB. Comparison of relative computation shows that E1-B channel is more profitable to acquire the strongest signal in weak signal environment. With information from the first satellite signal acquisition, fast acquisition of the weak signal around -155dBm can be performed with E1-C signal in the subsequent satellites.
This paper suggests a new algorithm to provide low-cost GPS modules with DGPS service, which corrects the error vector in the already-calculated position by projecting range corrections to position domain using the observation matrix calculated from the satellite elevation and azimuth angle in the NMEA GPGSV data. The algorithm reduced the horizontal and vertical RMS error of U-blox LEA-5H module from 1.8m/5.8m to 1.0m/1.4m during the daytime. The algorithm has advantage in improving the performance of low-cost module to that of DGPS receiver by a software update without any correction in hardware, therefore it is expected to contribute to the vitalization of the future high-precision position service infrastructure by reducing the costumer cost and vender risk.
This paper proposed a microstrip antenna that can perform jamming of satellite signals from the GPS L5, GLONASS G3, BDS B2 frequency bands (1164 - 1217 MHz) that are employed mainly for military purposes among the GNSS frequencies using unmanned aircrafts over the enemy's sky in time of emergency. The single element in the proposed antenna can be easily mounted to unmanned aircrafts. This study analyzed the characteristics of miniaturization and beam of radiating elements by applying the image theories and perturbation effect to satisfy the uniform level at ${\pm}45^{\circ}$ of beam steering goal due to the phase delay after antenna array. The designed microstrip antenna had a miniaturized radiating element area (x-y plane), which was reduced by 76.3% compared to that of basic microstrip antenna, and its beam width was $190^{\circ}$ in the E-plane and $140^{\circ}$ in the H plane. In addition, the simulation was conducted to determine the characteristics due to the phase delay by arranging the designed single microstrip antenna by $1{\times}4$ array and the results showed that beam steering of ${\pm}45^{\circ}$ is possible in the H-plane on the basis of $0^{\circ}$. Thus, the proposed antenna was verified to be effective in satellite signal jamming in the air as it was attached to the lower end of unmanned aircrafts.

This paper proposes a precise drone-positioning technique using a differential global positioning system (DGPS). The proposed system consists of a reference station for error correction data production, and a mobile station (a drone), which is the target for real-time positioning. The precise coordinates of the reference station were acquired by post-processing of received satellite data together with the reference station location data provided by government infrastructure. For the system's implementation, low-cost commercial GPS receivers were used. Furthermore, a Zigbee transmitter/receiver pair was used to wirelessly send control signals and error correction data, making the whole system affordable for personal use. To validate the system, a drone-tracking experiment was conducted. The results show that the average real-time position error is less than 0.8 m.
