GIS의 활용이 증가함에 따라 정확한 정보와 분석을 얻고자 하는 욕구도 증가하는 추세이다. 이런 현상의 결과물로 현 시대에는 위성영상을 이용하여 GIS Data를 분석, 활용하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. '위성영상을 이용한 송변전지리정보시스템(TGIS)의 활용'은 기존 GIS Data를 실제 환경과 유사한 위성영상으로 분석함으로써 정확하고 신속한 업무 처리를 유도할 수 있다.

The purpose of this study is to design the GIS (Geographic Information System)-based BIM (Building Information Modeling) Objects Visualization System (OVS) Architecture by using Open source BIM Server Cost-Effectively. Recently, the studies related to the facility management using GIS and BIM are being researched world-widely. In this studies, it's important to develop the BIM Server to link the heterogeneous system such as GIS and represent GIS-based BIM objects. To implement it, the trends in related studies were reviewed and the open source-based BIM server architecture was analyzed. And then the architecture considering the BIM server was designed to represent the geometry and property of the BIM object which was stored in BIM server. Lastly, the system by using the proposed architecture was developed.

The GIS construction project using the Digital Map has been progressed actively since the enforcement of NGIS project in 1995. But, the Digital Map actually can't use directly in building GIS because of many defects of the digital map such as geometric features errors(the overshoot/undershoot of line or the opening of polygon), non-topology etc. Many advanced countries in GIS has provided users Framework Data which is generated topology defined spatial relationships and used as a basic data of national geospatial information. In this study, we proposed the definition and the scope of Framework Data as a basemap of the Nation Geospatial Information and studied for the management and construction of the Transportation/Road Framework Data which is a core and basic data among them.

Cellular Automata(CA) have been investigated and utilized as a theoretical framework and/or methodology for analyzing and simulating the properties and behaviors of many complex systems in various physical science and engineering field. Due to the conceptual elegance and effectiveness of implementing spatio-temporal dynamic models and the compatibility with raster GISs, recently a variety of modeling works using both CA and GIS have been published in GIS fields Most of spatial dynamic models introduced in previous research, however, were very limited and furthermore integrated CA-GIS system for practical modeling purpose are not developed yet. This study aims to develop an integrated CA-GIS system in which a CA simulator is used as an analytical engine for GIS providing a multipurpose spatial dynamic modeling functionalities. This integrated CA-GIS system is anticipated radically enhancing the current lacking dynamic modeling functionalities of GIS and being utilized as an powerful and effective tool for practical spatial dynamic modeling research.

This research analyzed the effect of lessons with the GIS application as an alternative scheme of teaching and learning of geography in elementary school. Two classes in the third grade at Y elementary school in Andong were selected to conduct lessons on 'The Landscape of My Hometown' from March 6 through June 30, 2006. In the experimental class, the lessons were conducted with the GIS application; while, in a comparative class, the lessons were carried with usual teaching and learning method. To find out the effect of lessons with the GIS application, differences of spatial cognition of students were figured out between groups, and before and after lessons. The difference between the spatial concept development stages and materials on the textbook discouraged students to pursue their learning as well as made them hard to achieve the goals of lessons. The GIS application had been suggested as an alternative teaching and learning method to overcome the difference; however, it has been hard to find any empirical research to verify the effect of the lessons with GIS application in elementary school. The ability of spatial cognition of the third graders at an elementary school was very low as the result of that curricula in the first and second grades dealt with sketch maps as teaching and learning media. The map learning of third grader on the transitional stage would play the critical role to develop the spatial cognition ability in the future. The field study contributing to developing spatial cognition ability would not be conducted at school. It was required to have the alternative learning schemes such as lessons with GIS application. The lessons with GIS application verified effect of GIS application as the alternative method. The GIS application helped students to recognize landmarks, directions and distance effectively as well as reduced the spatial cognition difference among individuals and/or groups.

80년대 초 GIS의 개념이 국내에 도입된 후, 1988년 대구광역시를 필두로 지자체의 GIS 구축이 시작되어 국가에서는 GIS 구축의 체계적인 관리의 필요성에 따라 1995년 제1차 국가GIS 기본계획을 수립하고, 2000년 ‘국가지리정보체계의 구축 및 활용 등에 관한 법률’을 제정, 공포하여 각 지자체의 실정에 맞는 GIS 기본계획을 수립하도록 유도하고 있다. 그러나, 바람직한 지자체 GIS 기본계획 작성의 표준이 제시되지 않아 지자체 GIS 기본계획이 개인의 안목이나 타 지자체의 내용을 참조로 만들어져 형식적이고 획일적인 결과물이 산출되고 있다. 그리하여 기존에 수립된 지자체 GIS 기본계획이 일부의 지자체를 제외하고는 해당 지자체의 GIS 구축 사업에 활용되지 못하고 책장속의 책으로 존재하고 있다. 따라서, 본 논문의 목적은 지자체 GIS 기본계획 표준안을 제시하여 향후 해당 지자체에서 GIS 기본계획을 수립할 때, 구성적인 측면의 틀을 제공하여 일정수준을 만족할 수 있는 지자체 GIS 기본계획의 수립을 지원하고자 한다. 지자체 GIS 기본계획 표준(안)을 도출하기 위해서 정보화전략계획과 해외 관련 연구, 국가GIS 기본계획의 검토를 통하여 지자체 GIS 기본계획의 구성요소를 도출하고, 기존지자체 GIS 기본계획의 목차를 중심으로 분석하여, 문제점을 도출하고, 그에 따른 시사점을 제시하여 지자체 GIS 기본계획 표준(안)의 기반이 되도록 하였다. 제안된 지자체 GIS 기본계획 표준(안)은 향후 각 지자체의 활용가치가 높은 GIS 기본 계획의 수립에 도움이 될 수 있도록 하며, 나아가서는 수립된 지자체 GIS 기본계획이 지자체의 성공적인 GIS 구축을 유도하는 가이드의 역할을 수행할 것으로 기대된다.가 있다. 본 연구의 결과를 통해 지방자치단체 GIS 기본계획에 있어 조직 측면의 장기적 비전의 제시가 가능하며 이를 통해 보다 성숙된 GIS 사업의 추진과 효율적인 시스템의 운영이 가능할 것이다.. 이상의 결과를 종합해볼 때, ${\beta}$-glucan은 고용량일 때 직접적으로 또는 $IFN-{\gamma}$ 존재시에는 저용량에서도 복강 큰 포식세로를 활성화시킬 뿐 아니라, 탐식효율도 높임으로써 면역기능을 증진 시키는 것으로 나타났고, 그 효과는 crude ${\beta}$-glucan의 추출조건에 따라 달라지는 것을 알 수 있었다.eveloped. The rapid development of the information technology has passed over the implementation of the virtual reality. It is realizing information services that are form of the globalization, based on the Internet. In addition, the effort to apply IT to public administration for public services has been made. The remarkable development of computer hardware has overcome the limit of the information distribution and emerged for practical use in various fields such as public institution, underground facilities management, tourism industry development etc. However, the practical use of Virtual Reality with Three-Dimensional GIS on disaster management by Korea National Emergency Management Agency is very much low. Therefore, this studies focus on how to use 3-Dimensional GIS for the purpose of fire disaster prevention. The studies also discussed, through understanding of the limitations of 2-Dimensional GIS, the establishment of basis for fire prevention technology development and its utilization among those ubiquitous city paradigms, which have become so much issues these days.

This study investigates the effect of GIS-integrated lessons on spatial thinking abilities and geographical skills using discourse analysis along with a comparative three-case case study method. A series of curricula were designed and implemented in an 8th grade classroom for a semester. The data collected consist of the dialogue transcripts of six consecutive GIS-integrated lessons. The transcripts were analyzed to identify the moves (speech acts) used by each student and to classify discourse content of spatial thinking and geographical skills. Based on three individual case studies, a cross-case study was performed to uncover any relationship between the phenomenon and the contexts. The empirical evidence from discourse analysis demonstrated that students were able to generate appropriate terms representative of spatial thinking and geographical skills although students appeared to possess primarily lower-order spatial abilities, followed by a moderate-level of spatial abilities. Considering that the unit was implemented in a biology class rather than a geography class the result reflected the fact that the student's spatial thinking and geographical skills were attributable to the GIS-integrated lessons. Thus, the results have a great implication for GIS-integrated lessons and geography education as an innovative tool for improving student's spatial thinking and geographical skills.

Case study has been criticized far its lack of generalization to the larger population and lack of sampling controls. Some of shortcomings of case study methods may be overcome, by using logically consistent, rigorous, and systematic approaches. Especially, Case study method has been suggested as appropriate for researching a range of GIS implementation, utilization, and diffusion issues. This paper provides examples of how the substance of its requirements may be met in the context of GIS case study. For the successful implementation of GIS, this study suggest that the case study method in GIS appropriate to the study of casual relations in and explication of complex GIS acquisition and adoption process.

Recently utilizing GPS (Global Positioning System) technology has become the research in progress to improve the accuracy. However, if you encounter problems when you receive a satellite signal reception accuracy it is also significantly lowered. In this paper, we designed a system that combines the GPS technology and the GIS (Geographic Information System) technology, which provides information about the specified location to increase the accuracy. Compare the specified location and the user's location information to determine whether the user enters for the location. Accordingly, is utilized by the GIS technique considered to make improve the accuracy of the location information even when there is interference in the received satellite signal, the user receives a service specified location.
