유비쿼터스 기술은 기를 비즈니스 모델의 패러다임을 공급자 중심에서 수요자 중심으로, 비용 절감에서 가치창출로 변화시키고 있으며, 기업의 비즈니스 전략 및 수행방식을 혁신적으로 변화시키고 있다. 이러할 새로운 가치를 창출하는 유비쿼터스 기반 GIS 서비스에 대한 관심이 높아짐에 따라 그 중요성 또한 증대되고 있다. 하지만 이러한 상황에도 불구하고 유비쿼터스 기반 GIS 서비스와 관련된 연구는 기술과 표준화 등에 관련된 연구가 중심을 이루고 있어, 다양하게 발생하게 될 여러 서비스를 검증하고 보완하기에는 한계를 갖는다. 새로운 유비쿼터스 GIS 서비스는 더 많은 산업을 등장하게 할 것이고 가치창조의 기회를 줄 것이다. 따라서 새로운 유비쿼터스 기반의 GIS 서비스를 이해하고, 분석하기 위해서 기존과 다른 새로운 분석체계가 필요하다. 그래서 유비쿼터스 기반의 GIS 서비스의 중심인 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅과 유비쿼터스 네트워킹 기술을 통해 활용되는 서비스를 중심으로 분석체계를 제시하도록 한다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 유비쿼터스 기반 GIS 서비스를 분석하기 위해 유비쿼터스 비즈니스 분석기준들 참조하며 서비스 제공 기술, 제공대상, 제공형태를 제시한다.

Local administration is closely related with intention of residents. Especially, a plan item is closely related with life of residents. Therefore, it has to be logical and objective solution for opinion convergence. Decision of opinion has to be in a triangular position standard and stand in a trio of criteria in standard. But, opinion convergence of residents very difficult. Recently, the technique of GIS presents method for oponion convergence with logical and objective and scientifically solution. And, this study present method for decision of intention to a complex element with GRID and NETWORK techniques of GIS. This study present optimun site of constructure with the GIS technique in consideration of a side face of transportation, technical, social economy and environments.

Recently, E-Commerce demands an integrated solution for online and off-line provided to customers on wired / wireless network and various mobile devices. Our E-commerce platform can use anytime, anywhere, for all consumers. And, it can take convenient and secure E-commerce service in mobile environment. So, we will implement a software platform base on the mobile environment that independent of the mobile OS. Particularly, our E-commerce platform is based on 3D GIS information for 3D electronic map. So, all users (customers) have got the more visible convenience. And, by using the e-catalog DB cloud server, off-line store operators can be built the online home-page easily. From now on our E-commerce platform based on 3D GIS can be usable at various E-commerce areas in the ubiquitous environment.

This paper proposes an easy method to develope user interfaces for the GIS using OLE automation. In the developing stage of user interface, the most important thing is to apply effective windows programming techniques and component software supporting techniques. This study shows an user interface developing method using the OLE automation and Visual Basic programming. For a case study, the study constructs its user interface which performs map overlaying, referencing attribute tables, graph analysis, drawing up of thematic map.

For high performance Grid environments, an efficient GIS(Grid Information Service is required In the Metacomputing Directory Service(MDS) of the Glogus middleware, the Lightweight Directory Access Protocol(LDAP), which is a distributed directory service protocol, is used. The LDAP GIS differs from general purpose LDAP directories in that most of the LDAP operations are write in Grid environments. To get an efficient design of the GIS, it is thus required to analyze the performance of the LDAP system in the context of Grid environments. This paper presents the result of a performance analysis of LDAP systems. The main objective of the evaluation is to see the performance scalability of the LDAP system in the Grid environment where the write operations prevails. Based on these results, we suggest directions of an efficient LDAP-based GIS for a high performance Grid.

This study, as a pilot study to implement and extend the marine healing which has been rapidly extending oversea areas into the domestic market, has collected seven major marine healing resources such as ocean water, sand, salt, mud, seaweeds, forest, and weather targeting selected four pilot municipalities and established a GIS DB. Furthermore, web GIS based marine healing portal has been established to support the easier utilization of the GIS DB and various marine healing related contents, thereby facilitating expansion of related industry. The portal includes marine thematic maps as well as research papers, related therapy manuals, and various activities and programs of the pilot municipalities. It is expected that the portal would contribute to the expansion of the domestic marine healing industry significantly through the pilot operation of the portal, not to mention of the needs of subsequent studies for expansion of the marine GIS DB and securing more various contents.
