When a Ship sails in the ocean, it is significant to find one's position for safe navigation. Most of ships have been using GPS navigation since its development after 1990's. The celestial navigation was used as the navigation method when sailing in the ocean, but time-consuming process such as complicated calculation and plotting the result on chart diminished its utilization. The thesis explains convenience and utilization of existing celestial navigation by resolving challenges it has. As a way of enhancing the celestial navigation, the author developed a software which incudes a numerical formula based on the previous calculation process. When a navigator inputs the altitude of sun, GHA and dec into computer while sailing, the position of the ship will be displayed as the coordinates. The improved method thus reaffirmed the usefulness of the celestial navigation and will greatly serve as means of navigation in the occurrence of distress. Abstract should be placed here.

Uibanyuchwi, published in 1477, includes the contents of many lost ancient Korean and Chinese medicine documents. Through studying Uibanyuchwi, the ancient Korean pediatry medical document Bodongbiyo could be restored. Bodongbiyo was Korea's representative medical document of the pediatry field that was used until early Chosun dynasty. It was influenced by China's Big medical text, Taepyungseonghaebang and many mineral and animal medical stuffs are listed there. This was influenced by its contemporary factors.

In this study, the Korean cookbook, Jusiksiui, which was published in the late 1800s, was investigated. The results revealed that Jusiksiui contained more than 100 foods. Specifically, 12 staple foods were foods recorded including five types of porridge, three types of noodles, and four kinds of dumplings. Moreover, 49 side dishes were present, among which Jjim (steamed food) was most common, being recorded ten times. Additionally, seven types of Jeon (pancake) & Gui (roasted food) and Kimchi & Jangajji (pickled vegetables), four kinds of soup and Jeongol (stew), stir-fry, Sukyuk (boiled beef), and three types of Sukchae and Sashimi were found. Moreover, 14 recipes for rice cakes, two recipes for Korean cookies and three recipes for drinks were found. Seven recipes for wine, including plain rice wine, medicated wine and flavored wine, were also found. Finally, four different soy sauces Jibjang (a kind of soy sauce paste), hot pepper paste, Cheonggukjang (fast-fermented been paste), and Jeupjihi and roasting hot pepper paste were observed.

The sole use of the glucanhydrolase (exhibiting both dextranase and amylase activities) from Lipomyces starkeyi hydrolyzed the soluble polysaccharides in sugar syrup more efficiently than a mixed treatment using both commercial dextranase and amylase. The glucanhydrolase treatment of stale sugar cane juice resulted in a yield of square, light-colored sugar crystals.

최근 초고속인터넷의 급속한 확장과 무선 핫스팟(Hotspot)의 등장은 인터넷을 컴퓨터 통신의 중심에 두게 되었다. 이는 다양한 컴퓨터 통신의 매체들이 인터넷으로 통합되는 것을 의미하며 이러한 통합은 통신망의 물리적, 논리적인 구조에 많은 영향을 미치게 되었다. 본 논문은 Mobile IPv6와 VPN이 상호 연동하는 시나리오에서 발생되는 문제들을 추적한다. 끊김 없는 이동성을 제공하기 위해 제시된 솔루션을 분석하여, VPN 게이트웨이와 연동하는 GHA(Gateway Home Agent)의 하드웨어적인 구현을 제안하며 IPSec Based VPN이 아닌 환경과 새로이 제안된 내용들을 추가하여 성능분석이 가능한 테스트 베드의 구축을 제안한다.

Beam hardening artifact can be caused by metal material when performing PET exam. Therefore, we studied a solution decreasing artifact caused by metallic dental implant. The higher voltage, the lesser artifact in CT exam. But Higher voltage dosen't affect PET exam. The thicker silicon the lesser artifact in CT and PET exam. Both methods make less artifact in CT and PET exam. But considering safety of patient, the way of using silicon is better.

In this paper new automatic gate system(AC5) which is used fo. non-stop gate entrance of container trucks is developed. The gate entrance imformations are transmitted and received by 5.8GHa dedicated short range communication(DSRC) between roadside equipment(RSE) and on-board equipment(OBE). The conventional systems, such as barcode system and camera identifiation system, are needed for container vehicles to stop at the gate. Here DSRC system and AGS are considered and the AGS and convensional systems are compared.
