NGOs occupy so high international position that it is said the age of NGOs or Renaissance of NGOs has came. Recently, they continuously succeeded in hindering and blocking large-scale international events through their violent struggles. This paper studied the concept of NGO, examples of NGO struggles during recent international events and stated anticipated struggles during ASEM III and their trend. Thereafter, with future prospect of NGO activities, some measures for successful 2002 World Cup and 2005 APEC were provided in this paper. Recently, the aviation industry faced a major crisis due to the impact of COVID-19. However, despite the sluggish passenger transportation, the cargo transportation sector is relatively maintained or increasing depending on the item. In this study, we will look at the trends before and after COVID-19, focusing on the cargo export field, which is a concern of the aviation industry. First, it analyzes the entire air cargo and then analyzes the trends of each item and country in detail. In particular, it examines the process of changes in air transport costs, which increased significantly immediately after COVID-19, and conducts future trends and prospects in the cargo export field. As a result of the study, some characteristics of air cargo exports before and after COVID-19 were found in an analysis by item and country, and transportation costs varied according to route distance.

The modern welding technology hue more then 100 years history, and during that period, the welding has been playing an important role in the development of the manufacturing processes/systems as a key technology. In the time we enter the 21st century, it is question how to develop the innovative and attractive welding technology, in particular by the younger generation. The present report discussed the future trend of welding engineering mainly in Japan after reviewing the previous growth of welding engineering.

Conversion of light energy to electrical energy by using a solar cell has long been considered as one of the option for an electrical energy supply in the future. In the past, commercial use was restricted largely to remote area applications where conventional electricity is expensive. Recently, the major application of the solar cells changed to become generation of residential electricity in urban areas where the electricity is already supplied by the conventional grid. This paper covers the current market and technology status of the solar cells and future prospect of their terrestrial applications. Reviewing market trend, this paper discusses high efficiency approach in silicon solar cells, low cost approach in silicon solar cells and finally covers future prospects of silicon solar cells.

This paper describes the current research trend and future development direction of autonomous flight of the aircraft. The autonomous flight means that aircraft control system recognize and cope with the emergency situation confronted during the flight by itself. Current research for autonomous flight technology is mainly performed for the application to unmanned air vehicle. Considering advent of future air traffic management system and increasing demand of the unmanned air vehicle application, however, autonomous flight technology required to be combined with future air traffic management system. In this paper, the current air traffic management system and anticipating change in future air traffic management system was investigated and research activities of autonomous flight technology was described as well as future prospect.

The latest cyber attack utilizing advanced technologies is more rapidly advancing than developing speed of defense technology, thereby escalates the security risk. In responding to this recent threat, academia and industries are developing some sophisticated security technologies applying various methods. Based on these technologies, security systems are used in many fields. This article aims to select noticeable network security related technologies for the security systems. In particular, we compared and analyzed the trend, performance, and functions of both foreign and domestic technologies in regard to UTM having the largest portions among network security systems so far. We will also discuss the prospect for the change in network infrastructure due to the emergence of the next-generation network technology.

Although the prevalence of laryngopharyngeal reflux (LPR) is presumed to be very high, basic researches on LPR have not been active so far. This is a review of present status and prospect of researches on LPR to help readers' understanding of current trend on LPR research. In vitro and in vivo researches on acid/pepsin, intercellular junctions, bile juice, carbonic anhydrase, cytokines, and Helicobacter pylori were discussed. Considering that quality of life is getting more important in accordance with longer life span and that a fair proportion of LPR patients do not respond to conventional therapy, researches on pathogenesis and pathophysiology of treatment measures are necessary and it is anticipated for more and more researchers to concern themselves in basic research on LPR in the future.

Artificial reef in Thailand was trend to deploy and development artificial reef program to enhancing fisheries product and also use artificial reef for solve coastal problem. Artificial reef in Thailand was present in type of shallow water artificial reef by use concrete dice as dominant structure. To development artificial reef program for more benefit such as deep water artificial reef program that might provide more fisheries product for commercial fisheries and apply for use in many purposes especially for manage coastal environment in Thailand can be suggestion by cases of study. But all of that have to use more knowledge and concerning from government and organization that was responds in artificial reef program to decide the future of artificial reef program in Thailand.

Recently, the introduction of iPhone forced Korea to open its mobile market worldwide. The success of iPhone s open and cooperative code and the transition to the software-oriented paradigm also forces Korean mobile industry to greatly change according to the new trend for mobile market. Therefore, in this paper, to cope with such challenges, we investigate the effect of iPhone and then estimate its future prospect. Specifically, we focus on the effect on domestic mobile market, domestic software industry and individual's mobile life.
