XML is the new universal format for structured documents and data on the World Wide Web. As the Web becomes a major means of disseminating and sharing information and as the amount of XML data increases substantially, there are increased needs to manage and design such XML document in a novel yet efficient way. Moreover a demand of XML Schema(W3C XML Schema Spec.) that verifies XML document becomes increasing recently. However, XML Schema has a weak point for design because of its complication despite of various data and abundant expressiveness. Thus, it is difficult to design a complex document reflecting the usability, global and local facility and ability of expansion. This paper shows a simple way of modeling for XML document using a fundamental means for database design, the Entity-Relationship model. The design from the Entity-Relationship model to XML Schema can not be directly on account of discordance between the two models. So we present some algorithms to generate XML Schema from the Entity-Relationship model. The algorithms produce XML Schema codes using a hierarchical view representation. An important objective of this modeling is to preserve XML Schema's object-oriented concepts such as reusability, global and local ability. In addition to, implementation procedure and evaluation of the proposed design method are described.
The key concepts of seismic moment tensor are introduced in a 'physicist - oriented' style. The theory and application of seismic moment tensor which have been developed since the 1970s have become one of the most important branches in modern seismology. The description of earthquake sources in the modern seismology have led to much deeper understanding of the physics of indigenous earthquakes as well as various kinds of artificial seismic events, such as underground explosions, mining rockbursts, and reservoir induced tremors. Furthermore, with the development of digital seismological observation, some concepts, which were not included in 'classical' seismology, or not so important in 'classical' seismology, has become more and more important. It seems that it has been the time to have a new look at the fundamentals of seismology as a branch of applied physics, especially the part dealing with the physics of earthquake sources. Also in this field it may be important to clarify some fundamental concepts which, unexpectedly, have caused confusions even among professionals.

This study is aimed at finding some drawbacks of current elementary mathematics textbooks and to give suggestions for ongoing new textbooks according to 2009 revised curriculums, by comparing and analyzing Korean textbooks and chinese textbooks of People's Education Press. The areas are confined to number concepts, addition and subtraction for comparative analyzing. The results are followings: Korea textbooks have more verbal expressions, designated instructive activities for students to do, similar algorithm applied for enlarging mathematical concepts, bigger number concepts and number usage of operations, and monotonous number sense activities. Therefore Korean textbooks, compared to China's, is more weaker in areas such as encouraging student's interest, in challenging mathematics, and in forming fundamental mathematical concept.
Purpose: This study sought to explore concepts and features of nature sports. In specific, this study reviewed literature discussing historical background of nature sport and its relationship with related fields including conservation, tourism, and education. Research design, data, and methodology: This study employed an integrated literature review approach. For this, the study collected prior studies and reports via google scholar. Further the collected studies were analyzed and major issues regarding concepts and features of nature sport were presented. Results: For results, various definitions of nature sports and similar activities were presented. The study found that nature sports labelled action sports, adventure sports, alternative sports, Californian sports, extreme sports, gravity sports, lifestyle sports, nature challenge activities, new sports, outdoor sports, panic sports, risk sports or whiz sports, among others. Nature sport involve interacting with a natural or material feature, rather than with other human beings. Furthermore, this study discovered features of nature sport, including nature based activities, sustainable activities, adventure and risk activities, hedonistic and non-competitive activities, and autonomous and individualistic activities. Conclusions: Nature sport has its own distinctive features compared with traditional sport, yet it shows similarities with constructive sport in terms of perceived benefits and so forth. Further implications were discussed.

This paper as the basic study aiming the establishment of nursing theory according to Korean culture, is made to reveal the types of recognition about concepts of health immanent in Korean who have the health view, completely mixed with traditional oriental medicine and Confucianism and Buddhism and Shamanism and european scientific medicine, etc. This paper is using the Q-method, which is greatly effective in measuring the individual subjectivity, to collect rightly the concepts of health of objects. This analysis shows us the 4 types of recognition about concepts of health immanent in Korean as follows. Type Ⅰ: modern self-searching type(現代的 自己 追求型), Type Ⅱ: nature-sharing type(自然 共有型), Type Ⅲ: meaning-intentional altruism(意味 指向的 他者 中心型), Type Ⅳ: oriental adaptational type(東洋的 順應型). The men belonging to type Ⅰ have positive and self-searching view of health. They are not only interpreting the concept of health scientifically, but also positively accepting the oriental concept of health. The men belonging to type Ⅱ have strong tendency of down-to-earth. They not only have the naturalistic view of health as Taoist, but also carry the weight in the family and neighbour and regard co-sharing as excellent virtue. The men belonging to type Ⅲ are positive altruists, pursuing the meaning of life and at the same time setting the importance to the good value system. Naturally they care more the family and neighbour than themselves. The men belonging to type Ⅳ have oriental view of the world characterized by nature-adaptation. They positively agree to the Shamanism, Buddhism, Confucianism and Oriental concept of health. In conclusion, in all types we can see that Korean understand the harmony of man and nature as fundamental principle of heath and carry the more importance to the mind(心) than body(身) and at the same time esteem more the family-centric, oriental and organic community than individual. All above facts is immersed in the concepts of health of Korean as a common denominator.

This study was conducted to develop an education program of hospice care for the professional in order to care for nurses for terminally ill patients facing death and their families. The Modified Tyler-Type Ends-Means model was used to guide the curriculum development of the study The curriculum include a philosophical conception of hospice education, fundamental concepts, purpose, objective and the educational contents. The content was developed based upon a 70% or more demand in educational demand analysis. The education program has a total of 360 hours consisting of 172 hours of theoretical study and 188 hours of practice including fundamental nursing care for hospice.
An electrorheological fluid (ERF) is typically a suspension of semi-conducting solid particles dispersed in an insulating carrier fluid, and shows a dramatic change in rheological properties when an external electric field is applied. This rapid and reversible change in flow properties has potential application in many electronically controlled mechanical devices, but the development of efficient devices and optimal materials for ERF is still hindered by incomplete understanding of the fundamental physical mechanisms involved. In recent years there have been considerable advances In relating microstructural models to the rheological behaviour, and these will form the basis of this review. Results of the theoretical calculations and simulations will be compared to the key experimental evidence available. An overview of the fundamental physical concepts behind electrorheological fluid behaviour will also be presented.

The fundamental objects of the Korean Grand Canal (KGC) Project are the rehabilitation(or restoration) of river corridor ecology, improvement of river water quality, reduction of flood damages, countermeasure of the huge rise in energy price and the high discharge of $CO_2$ due to the vast use of energy for highway logistics. The other important objects, like an increase of water in the river channel, are to provide people with the pleasure of seeing the water and intimacy (touchiness) with it, an increase of flood controllability, effects of dilution of river pollutants, dredging out sedimentary pollutant from the river bottom, the function of infrastructure to pare down the logistics (distribution) costs, and the opportunity to expand tourism. These kinds of fundamental concepts must be evaluated as future values in Korea and elsewhere.
One of the prerequisites for the improvement of the teaching of mathematics in our country is an improved curriculum-one which takes account of the increasing use of mathematics in science and technology and in other areas of knowledge and at the same time one which reflects recent advances in mathematics itself. In the new curriculum of mathematics, we have found the problems to teach the concept of sets at secondary level. The idea of a set is the most fundamental one in mathematics. So, this thesis contains the studies of the systematic analysis of sets in dealing with the traditional textbook. The scope of the work is limited to the fundamental ideas, and so it merely touches on the topics of the Concpets, Operations, Cardinal Numbers, Application of Logic, one-to-one Correspondence, Probability and so on. It provides only the essentials, definitions, proofs and some example which are already known and understood in their traditional context. It also presents at the appropriate stages the concepts required (illustrated by examples) in a much clearer fashion than classical teaching does. To compete a study of the sets covered in the textbook of each year, greater detail is needed at the appropriate level.
In this paper a new particle swarm ray optimization algorithm is proposed for truss shape and size optimization with natural frequency constraints. These problems are believed to represent nonlinear and non-convex search spaces with several local optima and therefore are suitable for examining the capabilities of new algorithms. The proposed algorithm can be viewed as a hybridization of Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and the recently proposed Ray Optimization (RO) algorithms. In fact the exploration capabilities of the PSO are tried to be promoted using some concepts of the RO. Five numerical examples are examined in order to inspect the viability of the proposed algorithm. The results are compared with those of the PSO and some other existing algorithms. It is shown that the proposed algorithm obtains lighter structures in comparison to other methods most of the time. As will be discussed, the algorithm's performance can be attributed to its appropriate exploration/exploitation balance.
