소비자관점에서 계획적 진부화가 스마트폰 교체의도에 미치는 영향 -소비자 혁신성의 조절효과를 중심으로- (The Effects of Customer Based Planned Obsolescence on Replacement Purchase Intention -The Moderating Role of Consumer Innovativeness Focus-)

  • 많은 소비자들이 제품 교체결정에 직면했을 때, 진부화의 정도는 소비자의 태도와 구매행동에 영향을 미치고 있을 것이다. 이러한 영향관계를 알아보기 위해 본 연구의 목적은 계획적 진부화의 개념을 적용하여 스마트폰의 교체결정에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 지 살펴보고, 스마트폰의 교체결정과정에서 소비자 혁신성과의 관계를 조사하고자 하였다. 스마트폰을 사용하고 있는 소비자들을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 총 205부가 최종 분석에 사용되었다. 본 연구 결과 계획적 진부화는 소비자의 교체의도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 구체적으로 기능적 진부화, 심리적 진부화, 경제적 진부화의 순으로 교체의도에 영향을 주었다. 그리고 소비자 혁신성의 조절효과를 검증한 결과 고혁신성 집단에서는 기능적 진부화, 심리적 진부화, 경제적 진부화가 교체의도에 영향을 미쳤지만, 저혁신성 집단에서는 경제적 진부화에서만 영향관계가 확인되었다. 따라서 계획적 진부화의 영향력은 소비자의 혁신성이 높을수록 교체의도가 높음을 확인하였다. 본 연구 결과는 성숙기 시장인 스마트폰 시장에서 교체구매행동을 이해할 수 있으며, 기업의 효과적인 판매 전략을 수립하는데 유용한 시사점을 제시하였다.

  • Engineering valuation is a specialized discipline requiring expert knowledge and judgment, which scientifically estimates the economic value of industrial properties. By industrial properties, we mean engineering structures such as mines, factories, buildings, machines, and other industrial facilities as well as facilities of public enterprises. Particular industrial properties can have longer economic life if their performance is excellent and they are still suitable for current manufacturing needs. If not, its economic life will be shorter. As speed of technological progress becomes rapid, life-cycle and development period of a product is becoming shorter. In an industry characterized by rapid development of technology, industrial properties can become obsolescent faster. Even if they are in good working order, they could be no longer suitable for manufacturing new products based on radically different technology. In our research, we apply engineering approach to estimating functional economic life by factoring in technological obsolescence in such an industry.

  • Domestic hospital architectures were developed with the nation's industrialization after 1960s. Particularly, with the rapidly growing healthcare demands according to The National Health Insurance Plan which was introduced in 1977 and expanded to entire nation in 1989, the number of healthcare facility is also increasing according to the expansion of the existing facilities and construction of new buildings. Now, twenty to thirty years were past since that growing period of healthcare architecture. Many hospitals are facing on the phase of restructuring and modernization for their resources. J university hospital is a representative case of hospital development which the growth of facility was stopped by insufficient site area. This study, analysing its past statistics and drawing data of that hospital, presents the characteristics of the changes and basic data of the master planning for the future hospital development.

DEVELOPMENT OF RPS TRIP LOGIC BASED ON PLD TECHNOLOGY

  • The majority of instrumentation and control (I&C) systems in today's nuclear power plants (NPPs) are based on analog technology. Thus, most existing I&C systems now face obsolescence problems. Existing NPPs have difficulty in repairing and replacing devices and boards during maintenance because manufacturers no longer produce the analog devices and boards used in the implemented I&C systems. Therefore, existing NPPs are replacing the obsolete analog I&C systems with advanced digital systems. New NPPs are also adopting digital I&C systems because the economic efficiencies and usability of the systems are higher than the analog I&C systems. Digital I&C systems are based on two technologies: a microprocessor based system in which software programs manage the required functions and a programmable logic device (PLD) based system in which programmable logic devices, such as field programmable gate arrays, manage the required functions. PLD based systems provide higher levels of performance compared with microprocessor based systems because PLD systems can process the data in parallel while microprocessor based systems process the data sequentially. In this research, a bistable trip logic in a reactor protection system (RPS) was developed using very high speed integrated circuits hardware description language (VHDL), which is a hardware description language used in electronic design to describe the behavior of the digital system. Functional verifications were also performed in order to verify that the bistable trip logic was designed correctly and satisfied the required specifications. For the functional verification, a random testing technique was adopted to generate test inputs for the bistable trip logic.

  • 최근 대규모 산업구조물의 해체수요가 증가하고 있으며, 해체된 산업부지를 원래 자연환경으로 복원하는 공사가 진행하고 있다. 본 시공사례는 구조적 노후화와 기능적 요건을 만족하지 못하는 대단면 철근콘크리트 구조물인 터빈기초를 해체하기 위해 발파해체공법을 적용하였다. 발파해체 결과 터빈기초의 파쇄상태는 양호하였고, 주변 시설물의 피해 없이 발파해체를 완료하였다.
