  • The ultimate purpose of producing game is to make successful sale as making players to be fun. We have to identify fun factors of game and analyze player activities more detail to make fun game. In this paper, we compare game fun factors and select the most detailed one of them and then computed weight factors with AHP method. Based on survey of game players of the selected fun factors, we quantified satisfaction of game fun factors. The result of this paper can be used for assessment of game fun satisfaction and establish game development strategy to implement fun factors according to game genre.

  • In product design, many designers incorporate psychological aspects to express the "fun" factor. If so, is it possible to apply the fun inducing mechanism utilized in psychology to product design and are there any problems in the application\ulcorner Psychology defines the sense of fun as the result of relief to a situation that causes a mental accumulation through the discovery of a due. The psychological extraction of fun inducing mechanism tends to lean too much to the cognitive aspect. Therefore, when dealing with product design, psychology's particular disposition is inadequate in explaining the important perceptive factor of fun. This study hypothesizes that perceptive aspect of should be induced along with the cognitive aspect in order to rationalize fun in product design. In order to understand the perception of fun, this study will introduce the amusement aspect within Kitsch products. Methods of developing a humorous form will be studied and these methods will be applicable to perceptive aspects. This paper hypothesizes that through the theoretical basis of internal characteristic of cognitive factors and external characteristic of perceptive factors, the mechanism of fun can be determined.etermined.

The Effect of Fun Factors and Immersion on Health Applications Flow User Satisfaction (헬스 어플리케이션의 재미요인과 몰입이 이용자의 만족에 미치는 영향)

  • This study is places importance on health and safety in the era of untact, non-face-to-face care areas are increasing. To find out the fun factors and the effect of immersion on use satisfaction of health application users. Through the first factor analysis, we found the fun and immersion elements(joyful, interest, social intercourse) of users. Secondly, we looked at the impact of fun factors and immersion on satisfaction (viral intention, continuity). Finally, we looked at whether the user's characteristics affect satisfaction. The impact on fun factors and satisfaction was different depending on gender, which are characteristics of health application users. Both men and women showed significant results in oral tradition of pleasure, and in the case of women, elements of joy and psychological compensation were found to affect the continuation of use. It is thought that it is important to consider this in terms of marketing so that the elements of enjoyment among the fun factors of users through health application can continuously affect the continuation of use or oral tradition.

The Effect of Factors on Continuous Use of Video Telephony Service for Mobile Devices (영상통화 서비스의 지속적인 사용 요인에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the critical factors influencing on the continuous use of video telephony service for mobile devices. An empirical analysis has been performed by using service quality, brand image, price, fun as influencing factors, and satisfaction and commitment as mediating factors. The partial least squares(PLS) methodology with 228 questionnaires has been conducted. The results indicated that brand image, price, and fun were mediated by satisfaction and commitment to have a statistically significant influence on continuous use of video telephony service. Service quality showed a significant effect on continuous use mediated by satisfaction while it did not show any influence through commitment. Based on the results, companies in the communication service industry should consider and focus on the improved brand image, appropriate fees, and individual preferences for fun for the successful marketing activities, and should also maintain amicable relations with their customers.

Fun Factors of New Media Content for Kids (유아용 뉴미디어 콘텐츠의 재미 요소)

  • Media can be considered as a type of play for kids in this new media era. Researches on media content for kids have mainly focused on educational effect or specific features such as design, but a great deal of kids content is created for fun and enjoyment. This study analyzes fun factors of the most popular kids content on Youtube: Kongsuni and Friends, Carrie and Toys, and Pinkfong. The result shows that seven fun factors can be grouped into three categories; 1) Self-determination and independence are related to the media environment; 2) Sensuous vividness, empathy, and physical dynamic are related to the content; 3) Self-expression and social interaction are related to associated activities. This study extends our perspective on kids content by analyzing fun factors in the comprehensive process of media consumption.

  • This study analyzed factors affecting the perceived fun of VR contents' reuse intention through use of the technology acceptance mode. The factors associated with perceived fun were identified by setting the content quality, VR characteristics, emotional character and flow. The results demonstrate that perceived fun exercises a positive effect on VR characteristics, emotional character and flow, but that high content quality does not have an affect on perceived fun. Also perceived fun, perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use are all influenced by the intention to reintegrate.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of beauty workers' fun factors on job enthusiasm and self-efficacy. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, 324 beauty workers in Seoul and Gyeonggi region were selected as the study subjects. The data processing to identify the purpose of the study was to analyze the frequency of the demographic variables of the study subject, verify the reliability of each factor, and analyze the factors, and the correlation analysis between the fun factor, job enthusiasm and self-efficacy was used. Multi-regression was conducted to find out the effect of the variables, and the following research results were derived through such a research procedure. First, the fun factor of beauty workers was crazy about job enthusiasm. Second, the fun factor of beauty workers influenced self-efficacy, and third, job enthusiasm had an effect on self-efficacy.

A study on the 'Fun' in Hangul Iconicity (한글 도상성에 나타난 '재미'에 관한 연구)

  • Hangul 's iconicity based on the scientific creation principle makes it possible to expand into various designs. 'Fun' is a factor for success in the cultural contents industry. Through the design process, it is possible to apply fun elements to the design of cultural contents to meet the purpose. The characteristics of Hangul icons that can be used in cultural contents design, the concept of 'fun', the inducing factors of fun and the production methods of visual fun are summarized. The production method of visual fun has suggested the same way as the design humor creation method in visual communication design. 10 types of examples of Hangul in relation to visual 'fun' have been analyzed by the semiotic approach. This suggests a design methodology for the creation of fun elements that utilize Hangul Iconicity in cultural contents design in the future.

The Effects of Sports Fun Factors on Willingness to Continue Exercise and Psychological Happiness of Table Tennis Club Members (탁구 동호인의 스포츠 재미요인이 운동지속의지 및 심리적 행복감에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate and analyze the effects of sports fun factors on the willingness to continue exercising and psychological happiness of table tennis club members. The participants in this study collected data using a questionnaire about sports fun factors, willingness to continue exercising, and psychological happiness of 293 table tennis club members. The factors influencing the willingness to continue exercising were identified as victory/competition, interpersonal relationships, practice/benefit, and family support, and the will to continue exercising was found to have a significant static influence on both self-realization and hedonic pleasure. As a result of the mediating effect analysis of the will to continue exercise, the mediating effects of fun factors such as competence/awareness, victory/competition, interpersonal relationships, practice/benefits, and family support, on psychological happiness, self-realization and hedonic pleasure are confirmed as mediating effect except for competence/perception. In particular, it was confirmed that the interpersonal relationship (team atmosphere) factor had a higher mediating effect on self-realization and hedonic pleasure than other factors.

Fun Factors of a Reality Show Program (리얼리티 쇼 프로그램의 재미에 관한 연구 - '슈퍼스타 K' 프로그램을 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors behind the popularity of Superstar K, a reality show, among the viewers. For that purpose, the study conducted an in-depth interview with six viewers that watched the show in the first round and eight more in the second round. The interview results show that the show's fun elements include program "formation," "organization," "edition," "hosting style," and "appeal factors," which differentiated it from other shows. Superstar K made the viewers enjoy the show by thoroughly planning and providing a range of fun elements from program planning to edition and transmission.
