The nutria(Myocastor coypus) that is originated from South America is a representative Invasive alien species in Korea. invasive alien species is one of the biggest causes for the loss of biodiversity and it may threaten the conservation and function of ecology as well as the welfare of mankind. Intense habitation has been made around the Nakdong River basin area that this study has analyzed the habitat density of nutria for the subject of 3 survey sites in the Nakdong River basin area. As a result of survey on habitation density in 2011 and 2012, under St.1 it was shown $2.01{\pm}0.21$/ha in 2011 and $0.69{\pm}0.55$/ha in 2012. Under St.2, it was shown $0.91{\pm}0.37$/ha in 2011 and $0.55{\pm}0.39$/ha in 2012. Under St.3, it was shown $5.31{\pm}0.72$/ha in 2011 and $3.99{\pm}2.31$/ha in 2012. The wet survey areas of St.1 and St.3 had shown relatively high habitation density compared to St. 2, the river survey area, and the average annual habitation density of the survey area was $2.74{\pm}2.29$/ha in 2011 and $1.74{\pm}1.18$/ha in 2012 that it has shown slightly reducing trend. As a result of measuring the morphology by capturing the habitation individuals, the average body length of adults is $92.23{\pm}9.41cm$, the length from the head to body for $53.90{\pm}5.15cm$, tail length for $38.33{\pm}4.83cm$, hind foot length for $13.82{\pm}1.00cm$, front foot length for $6.02{\pm}0.56cm$, and weight for $5.48{\pm}1.08kg$. As a result of comparing the types between genders, male showed a slightly higher figure in all parts compared to female and it showed significantly difference in total body length, head-body length, front foot length and total weight. As a result of analysis for each head-body length, other measured parts, weight and relativity for each measured part, all bodily part is shown to have the higher volume of correlations. The condition index of individuals in the survey area was shown in the average of $35.67{\pm}4.78$ with female for an average of $36.60{\pm}5.19$ and male for an average of $34.73{\pm}4.34$. The winter temperature in the southern area of Korea is considered for not greatly impacting on the habitation and development of nutria that, if there is no artificial control, it is considered to have certain concern of showing drastic breeding and territory expansion for the habitation group.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the fracture characteristics of ductile fiber reinforced cement based composites with 1.5 volume ratio of polyvinyl alcohol and steel fiber by high velocity impact of steel projectile. We used gunpowder impact facility to evaluate the fracture characteristics of ductile fiber reinforced cement based composites by collision of steel projectile, and the impact velocity was from about 150 to 1,000m/s. The results of evaluation on the fracture characteristics of ductile fiber reinforced cement based composites were penetration grade, which is the kinetic energy more than three times of no-fiber reinforced specimen (Plain). In addition, ductile fiber reinforced cement based composites did not occurred critical damage other than the debris. In the case of mass loss, Plain specimen was proportional to kinetic energy of steel projectile, while ductile fiber reinforced cement based composites was not significantly affected by kinetic energy of steel projectile. In particular, this tendency had a close relationship with the fracture characteristics of back side of specimens, and the scabbing inhibiting efficiency of PVA specimen was higher than S specimen. In the results of verifying relationship between front and back side calculated by local damage, scabbing occurred at the region close to the back side in the ductile fiber reinforced cement based composites unlike Plain specimen. Thus, in this study, we examined principal fracture behaviors of ductile fiber reinforced cement based composites under collision of steel projectile, and verified that impact resistance performance was improved as compared to Plain specimen.
The purpose of the study was to present technical guidance about the field goal kicking motion in American football for novices. For this purpose, kinematic analysis on the field goal kicking motion of two skilled players and two unskilled players was carried out. The following conclusions were made: 1. In comparison on the total elapsed time of the kicking, there were no significant differences between two groups. The progressing time from BP event to impact among experts group, however, took 0.141 second less than that of novices group. 2. The experts group showed right hip rotatier horizontally toward the targeted ball fixing left hip as the axis. On the other hand, the novices group didn't use the left hip as the axis in the kicking motion. 3. At the impact of kicking the ball, regarding with the distance of the ball and the supporting leg, the right and left distance of experts was 3.45cm longer than that of novices, the front and the rear distance of experts was 5.14cm shorter than novices. 4. At the impact, experts' initial velocity of the targeted ball was $5.27^m/s$ faster than novices', besides experts' incidence angular displacement was $3.78^{\circ}$ larger than novices'. 5. After BP event, experts showed a stable movement maintaining flexion and extension at left hip joint and knee joint. On the other hand, for novices, the angle of the left lower extremities became larger. 6. Experts showed the efficient flexion and extension of the hip joint and the knee joint during following procedure in the whole event of the kicking motion. At the BP event, the right knee joint angle of novices was $11.46^{\circ}$ larger than that of experts. However, the duration of the impact event and FT event among, novices had less extension of knee joint than experts. 7. At the 2nd phase, for both of the groups, the angular velocity of the knee joint drastically increased as the angular velocity of hip joint decreased. However, only novices showed the largest negative angular velocity at the impact.
Mokpo coastal area is connected to the adjacent a long river and two large basins. It is essential for port planning coastal zone management and environmental impact study to analyze the data related to the ship operation and variation of current and water quality due to the development of water area including dredging reclamation and estuary barrage. The Yongsan river estuary weir and Yongam-Kumho basins discharge much of water through water gates for the purpose of flood control and prohibit salt intrusion at the inland fresh water area. To meet this purpose discharge through the gates have been done at the period of maximum water level difference between inner river and sea level. This discharged water may cause the changes of current pattern and other environmental influences in the vicinity and inner area of semi-closed Mokpo harbor. In this study ADI method is applied to the governing equation for the analysis of the changes on current pattern due to discharged water. As the results of this study it is known that the discharging operation causes many changes including the increase of current velocity at the front water area at piers approaching passage and anchorages. Discussion made on the point of problems such as restricted maneuverability and the safety of morred vessels at pier and anchorage. To minimize this influence the linked gate operation discharging warning system and laternative mooring system are recommended.

This study describes the impact of positive sampling artifact caused by a filter-based sampling in the determination of ambient organic carbon (OC). Three different sampling media combinations were employed for this investigation: (1) Quartz filter-alone (Q-alone), (2) quartz filter behind quartz-fiber filter (QBQ), and (3) quartz filter and quartz filter behind Teflon filter (Q-QBT). The measurement of ambient OC was carried out at a semi-urban site near oceanside at the end of November of 2008. It was found that Q-alone sampling configuration resulted in a higher OC than QBQ and Q-QBT by 14% and 28%, respectively due to no correction for positive artifact caused by adsorption of gas-phase OC onto the filter. A lower quantity of OC was collected from the backup quartz filter on QBQ than that from Q-QBT. A possible explanation is that the front quartz filter of QBQ was not fully saturated with gas-phase OC during the sampling period, allowing smaller amount of gas-phase OC to reach the backup quartz filter. The contribution of positive artifact to $PM_{2.5}$ mass was approximately 2.15 ${\mu}g/m^3$ which is equivalent to 6% in terms of Q-QBT sampling configuration. The positive artifact was found to be more dominated during summer than during winter, showing temperature dependence. It was concluded that Q-QBT sampling configuration offers less impact of positive artifact on ambient OC sampling than QBQ in quantification of OC.

This present paper investigated the mechanical properties and the microstructures of each penetration shapes classifying the conduction shape area and the keyhole shape area about electron beam welded 120(T)mm thick plated aluminum 5052 112H. As a result the penetration depth is increased linearly according to the output power, but the aspect ratio is decreased after the regular output power. In the conduction shape area, the Heat affected zone is observed relatively wider than the keyhole shape area. In the material front surface of the welded specimen, the width is decreased but the width in the material rear surface is increased. After the measuring the Micro Vikers Hardness, it showed almost similar hardness range in all parts, and after testing the tensile strength, the ultimate tensile strength is similar to the ultimate tensile strength of the base material in all the specimens, also the fracture point was generated in the base materials of all the samples. In the result of the impact test, impact absorbed energy of the Keyhole shape area is turned up very high, and also shown up the effect about four times of fracture toughness comparing the base material. In the last result of observing the fractographs, typical ductile fraction is shown in each weld metal, and in the basic material, the dimple fraction is shown. The weld metals are shown that there are no other developments of any new chemical compound during the fastness melting and solidification.
NHTSA (National Highway Traffic Safety Administration) has offered consumers the vehicle safety information on their car since 1978. NHTSA believes that they contribute auto makers to develop safer vehicle for customers, which will result in even lower numbers of deaths and injuries resulting from motor vehicle crashes. NHTSA has been studied why people are still dying in frontal test despite of the use of many restraints system and they understand that current test does not reflect real world crash data such as oblique and corner impact test. As a result, NHTSA announced that a new test method will be introduced to use of enhanced biofidelic dummy and new crash avoidance technology evaluation from 2019. New and refined injury criteria will be applied to Head / Neck / Chest / Lower Leg. BrIC(Brain Injury Criterion)value in NHTSA test results using THOR dummy from 2014 to 2015 was average 0.91 and 1.24 in driver and passenger dummies. IIHS 64kph SOF test is the most likely to new frontal oblique test in an aspect of offset impact which is being studied by NHTSA. In this paper, we focused on head injury, especially brain injury - BrIC and conducted IIHS 64kph SOF (Small Offset Front) test with Hybrid III dummy to evaluate the injury for BrIC. Based on the test results, these data can be predicted BrIC level and US NCAP rating with current vehicle.

EIA(Environmental Impact Assessment) was introduced in 1979 by our gorvernment to cope with serious environmental problems. Recently environmental pollution has been controlled severely than ever because pollution phenomena became more comlpicated and arrcordingly the damage more terrible. For the EIA system to achieve its goal effectively, systematic and scientific approach should be found out. For this reason the techniqes such as GIS(Geographic Information System) and RS(Remote Sensing) come to front strongly. The purpose of this paper is to investigate the application techniqes of GIS and RS to the EIA system. Haw-Won Myen, Hae-Nam Gun, Chun-Nam and its related area, which will be developed to be a sightseeing area, were selected as the study area. Applications of GIS resulted some important outcome such as earthwork calculations, landuse models, aspect maps, stability of slanting surfaces, elevation models, estimation of real estates, etc. GIS applied EIA proved to be very useful for the project managers and planners to plan, evaluate, judge the enviormental problems.

Compton X-ray backscatter technique has been used to quantitatively assess the impact damage in quasi-isotropic laminated composites and to obtain a cross-sectional profile of impact-damaged laminated composites from the density variation of the cross section. An adaptive filter is applied to the Compton backscattering data for the reconstruction and noise reduction from many sources including quantum noise, especially when the SNR(signal-to-noise ratio) of the image is relatively low. A nonlinear reconstruction model is also proposed to overcome distortion of the Compton backscatter image due to attenuation effects, beam hardening, and irregular distributions of the fibers and the matrix in composites. Delaminations masked or distorted by the first few delaminations near the front surface are detected and characterized both in width and location, by application of an error minimization algorithm.
Purpose: The study aims to provide basic data to enhance the health of paramedics responsible for patient transport and treatment by analyzing the exposure level of paramedics to electromagnetic waves generated by electric devices used in ambulances. Methods: The study measured electromagnetic waves in ambulances in N region from July to December 2018. ME3030B produced by German Gigahertz Solutions was used to measure these waves and the maximum value was selected by moving it slowly in various directions. Each measurement part was selected and the mean value was calculated by repeatedly measuring at 10-minute intervals three times in total: $1^{st}$, $2^{nd}$, and $3^{rd}$ phase. Results: Among the electrical devices installed in the patient room of the ambulance measured at distances of 1 cm or 30 cm, results showed a high level of electric waves at the inverter ($26.25{\pm}39V/m$) and high level of electromagnetic waves ($564.00{\pm}31.75nT$) at the ozone sterilizer. According to measurements toward the front near the driver's seat, results indicated high levels of electric waves ($3.67{\pm}1.15V/m$) and electromagnetic waves ($450.00{\pm}19.52nT$) at the black box hard drive. Conclusion: Electromagnetic waves within the ambulance were stable and not beyond the range that might impact human health. However, in the case of the black box hard drive ($3.67{\pm}1.15V/m$, $450.00{\pm}19.52nT$) located under the passenger seat, it may have a direct effect on the human body and, thus it is necessary to move it to a storage area further away from the paramedics to minimized the impact.
