2단 축류홴과 엇회전식 축류홴의 공력특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on the Aerodynamic Characteristics of a Two-Stage and a Counter-Rotating Axial Flow Fan)

  • Experiments were done for the comparison of performance and flow characteristics between a two -stage axial flow fan and a counter-rotating axial flow fan. Each stage of the two -stage axial flow fan used fur the present study has an eight bladed rotor and thirteen slater blades. The front and the rear rotor of the counter - rotating axial flow fan have eight blades each and are driven by coaxial counter ro latins shafts through a gearbox located between the rear rotor and the electric motor. Both of the two axial fan configurations have identical rotor blades and the same operating condition fur the one -to-one comparison of the two. Performance curves of the two configurations were obtained and compared by varying the blade pitch angles and axial gaps between the blade rows. The fan characteristic curves were obtained following the Korean Standard Testing Methods for Turbo Fans and Blowers (KS B 6311). The fa n flow characteristics were measured using a five-hole probe by a non-nulling method. The velocity profiles between the hub and tip of the fans were measured and analyzed at the particular operating condition s of peak efficiency, minimum and maximum pressure coefficients. The peak efficiency of the counter-rotating axial fan was improved about 2% respectively, compared with the two stage axial fan. At the minimum pressure coefficient point of the two stage axial fan, the fan inlet flow patterns show that axial velocity highly decreased in the vicinity of the blade tip region. Also, the reverse flow took place at the blade tip.

퓨리에 변환을 활용한 유동 가시화 비교 분석 (Analysis of Flow Visualization Results Using Fourier Transform)

  • 경계층 내 측정된 유속은 변동 성분을 활용한 표준편차 혹은 배경 유속을 포함한 평균 속도로 해석되어 왔다. 하지만, 각각의 결과로 유동 상호작용을 설명하는데 한계가 있어 본 논문에서는 시간 영역의 유속을 퓨리에 변환하여 주파수 분석으로 유동 현상을 규명하는 방법을 제안한다. 이를 위해 경계층 내 평판 위에 부착된 반구 내부로 염료를 주입시켜 후류 영역에서 생성되는 머리핀 와류를 가시화하여 발생 빈도를 계측하였다. 또한 반구 전방의 평판을 뚫어 흡입함으로써 후류 영역 내 유속 변화를 열선 유속계로 측정하였다. 제안된 주파수 분석의 평가를 위해 기존의 통계 해석법과 비교하였으며, 유동의 정성적인 결과에 부합하는 주파수 분석과정을 제시한다.

  • 국소적 정상초음파장의 교란이 관내 메탄/공기 예혼합화염의 전파속도 및 화염구조에 미치는 영향을 규명하기 위한 실험적 연구를 수행하였다. 슐리렌가시화기법을 이용하여 정상초음파 유무에 따른 화염선단 발달과정의 변이를 상세히 관찰하였다. 정상초음파가 개재할 때, 기연부에서 가로방향의 줄무늬가 생성되었고, 연소반응의 촉진으로 화염의 속도는 증가하였으며, 화염의 발달과정이 부력의 영향으로부터 자유로워져 화염선단의 상하 대칭성을 유지하려는 경향을 보인다.

이규화 몰리브덴-텅스텐의 자전 고온 합성 반응 모델링 (Mathematical Modeling of Self-propagating High Temperature Synthesis of Molybdenum- Tungstenb Disilicide)

  • 자전고온합성반응법을 이용하여 이규화 몰리브덴-텅스텐($Mo_{1-z}$ , $W_{z}$)$Si_2$을 합성하였다. 조성 (z)을 변화시켜 성형한 원통형 시편에 합성반응 중 전달되는 온도변화를 예측하기 위하여 시편의 중앙에 열전대를 삽입하였다. 반응 선단면이 열전대를 통과할 때 가장 높은 반응온도를 보이고 이것을 단열반응 온도라 간주하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이러한 온도변화를 예측하기 위하여 자전조온합성반응의 모델링을 계시하고자 하였으며, 실험을 통하여 측정한 반응온도 분포곡선의 거동을 비교하였다. 각각의 시료에 대한 실험결과 측정된 반응속도는 약 2.14~1.35mm/sec, 반응온도는 1883K~1507K의 간을 보였다. 두 항 모두 텅스텐의 함량이 증가함에 따라 감소하는 경향을 나타냈으며, 수치해석을 통하여 거의 유사한 반응온도를 얻었다. 시료의 초기온도를 증가시킬 경우 반응온도는 증가함이 예측되었고, z=0.5인 시료에 대하여 반응온도가 1900k 이상이 되기 위해서는 약 800K-900K의 예열이 필요하였다.

대산항 해역의 부유사 확산 수치모사 (Numerical Simulations for Dispersion of the Suspended Sediments Near Daesan Coastal Areas)

  • EFDC 모델을 이용하여 대산항 인근해역의 유속장을 재현하고 개발에 의한 인근 해역의 부유사(SS) 확산현상에 대한 수치 모사가 수행되었다. 대산항 인근 해역의 유속장 재현을 위한 해수유동 수치모형 실험은 EFDC 2차원 모델을 사용하여 조위 시계열 검증 및 조화분석을 통한 검증을 실시한 결과 양호한 재현성을 나타내었다. 대산항 주변해역의 해수 유동장을 이용하여 부유사 확산 수치 실험 결과, 항로 준설시를 부유사(SS)의 확산양상은 창조류시와 낙조류시에 각각 동향~북동향, 서향~남서향으로 확산이 진행되고 있었다. 또한 부유사(SS)의 확산은 시간이 지날수록 대산항 전면해역 및 난지도 주변해역, 가로림만 입구부에서 넓게 분포하는 것으로 나타나 공사가 장기적으로 진행된다면 그 영향은 가중되어 환경오염문제가 심화될 것으로 생각된다.

젊은 성인 여성의 구두 힐 높이 별 보행특성 및 하지관절 간 상호작용 비교분석 (Analysis of the Gait Characteristics and Interaction among Bilateral Lower Extremity Joints According to Shoe'S Heel Heights in Young Women)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the gait characteristics and interaction between lower extremity joints according to shoe's heel heights in young women. Participants were selected as subject consisted of young and healthy women (age: $23.71{\pm}1.49yrs$, height: $165.92{\pm}2.00cm$, body weight: $54.37{\pm}3.46kg$) and walked with 3 types of shoe's high-heel (0, 5, 9 cm). The variables analyzed consisted of the displacement of Y axis in center of mass ([COM]; (position, velocity), front rear(FR) and left right(LR) angle of trunk, lower extremity joint angle (hip, knee, ankle) and asymmetric index (AI%). The displacement of Y axis in COM position showed the greater movement according to increase of shoe's heel heights, but velocity of COM showed the decrease according to increase of shoe's heel heights during gait. The hip and knee angle didn't show significant difference statistically according to increase of shoe's heel height, but left hip and knee showed more extended posture than those of right hip and knee angle. Also ankle angle didn't show significant difference statistically, but 9 cm heel showed more plantarflexion than those of 5 cm and 0 cm. The asymmetric index (AI%) showed more asymmetric 9 cm heel than those of 0 cm and 5 cm. The FR and LR angle in trunk tilting didn't show significant difference statistically according to the increase of shoe's heel height during gait in young women.

해안사구 지형변화에 대한 해안림의 영향: 소황리 전사구를 사례로 (Impact of Coastal Forests on Geomorphological Changes of Coastal Dunes: A Case of the Sohawang-ri Foredune, Chungnam Province)

  • This study shows that coastal sand dunes are negatively affected by coastal forests. In South Korea, planting pine trees on the dunes has been carried out to stabilize the dune landscapes and protect residential areas from coastal disasters since the 20th century. However, this strategy could reduce the resilience of dunes. In this study, we selected three monitoring sites with automated weather stations to compare the geomorphological and environmental characteristics between tree-covered and grass-covered dunes at Sohwang-ri, Boryeong-si, Chungnam Province for three years. In addition, we monitored the rates of erosion and deposition using eight pins along the dune crests. We found that the forest affected both wind velocity and direction, resulting in decreased blown sand supply to the dunes in front of the forest. The velocity of the strong winds faster than 5 m/s diminished to 10%-30% of the control sites, and the direction of northwesterly wind were skewed to the north by about 6°. Sand deposition occurred at about 15-20 m away from the pine forest and the amount was only 1/10 of the deposition within the grass-covered dunes. This study suggests that planting trees in coastal dunes is an undesirable strategy with negative impacts on the landscape management.

배기의 유속분포가 CDPF의 재생 시 비정상적 열적 거동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Flow Distribution on Transient Thermal Behaviour of CDPF during Regeneration)

  • The working of diesel particulate filters(DPF) needs to periodically burn soot that has been accumulated during loading of the DPF. The prediction of the relation between an uniformity of gas velocity and soot regeneration efficiency with simulations helps to make design decisions and to shorten the development process. This work presents a comprehensive combined 'DOC+CDPF' model approach. All relevant behaviors of flow fluid are studied in a 3D model. The obtained flow fields in the front of DPF is used for 1D simulation for the prediction of the thermal behavior and regeneration efficiency of CDPF. Validation of the present simulation are performed for the axial and radial direction temperature profile and shows goods agreement with experimental data. The coupled simulation of 3D and 1D shows their impact on the overall regeneration efficiency. It is found that the flow non-uniformity may cause severe radial temperature gradient, resulting in degrading regeneration efficiency.

  • Self-excited noise generation from laminar flames in thin annular jets of methane/air premixture has been investigated experimentally. Various flames were observed in this flow configuration, including conical shape flames, ring shape flames, steady crown shape flames, and oscillating crown shape flames. Self-excited noise with the total sound pressure level of about 70dB was generated from the oscillating crown shape flames for the equivalence ratio larger than 0.95. Sound pressure and $CH^{\ast}$ chemiluminescence were measured by using a microphone and a photomultiplier tube. The frequency of generated noise was measured as functions of equivalence ratio and premixture velocity. A frequency doubling phenomena have also been observed. The measured $CH^{\ast}$ chemiluminescence data were analyzed from which the corresponding sound pressure has been calculated. By comparing the data with those of measured ones, the noise source can be attributed to the flame front fluctuation near the edge of the oscillating crown-shape flames. The flame stability regime was influenced sensitively to the supplying air through the inner tube.

직접 PC슬래브설치를 통한 철도지하횡단 공법의 적용 연구 (Railway Underground Crossing Method Using PC Slab)

  • Existing grade crossings between railway and roadway area gradually changed to grade separation systems by the law. In the case of new roadway construction which crosses railways, it shall be grade separation system in principle. With the railway underground crossing method, many practices have been developed which can minimize rail displacements and avoid rail release. With these methods, the effects to the train can be reduced. The underground crossing methods can be identified as open-cut methods and non open-cut methods. The open-cut methods include temporary support methods and special rail construction methods. Also the non open-cut methods includes pipe roof methods, front jacking methods, messer shield methods, NTR methods and JES methods. Among these, the most suitable method is applied considering safety, economy, class of each rail system (train passing frequency and velocity), etc. In the non open-cut methods, the cost and duration shall be increased to keep existing rail system during construction. In the open-cut methods which use plate girders, the rail speed shall be restricted due to the displacement and vibration of the girder. In this study new grade separation methods were developed. With this method, the safety during construction can be increased. This method refines temporary support methods, but pc slab girder with huge stiffness is applied instead of plate girders. With this method, the rail displacement can be reduced and higher safety can be obtained during construction. Also construction cost and duration can be minimized because the temporary work and the overburden soil depth can be reduced.
