Revenue Change by Peak Hour Fare Imposition for Senior Free Ride : Using Seoul Metropolitan Subway Smart Card Data (노인무임승차 첨두시 요금부과에 따른 수입금 변화 : 수도권 스마트카드자료를 이용하여)

  • This study derives quantitative data on how much the fiscal deficit of subway operation agencies can be reduced in the process of charging free rides for the elderly in metropolitan subways during peak periods. In smart card data, every trip of elderly is recorded except fares. Therefore, it is required to establish a methodology for estimating the fares of elderly passengers and distributing them to subway opertation agencies as income. This study builds a simultaneous dynamic traffic allocation model that reflects the assumption that elderly selects a minimum time route based on the departure time. The travel route of the elderly is estimated, and the distance-proportional fare charged to the elderly is calculated based on this, and the fare is distributed by reflecting the connected railway revenue allocation principle of the metropolitan subway operating agencies. As a result of conducting a case study for before and after COVID-19 in 2019 and 2020, it is analyzed that Seoul Metro's annual free loss of 360 billion won could be reduced 6~8% at the morning peak (07:00-08:59), and 13~16% at the morning and afternoon peak (18:00-19:59).

  • 홍삼 분말을 혼합하여 제조한 사료로 $60{\~}80g$ 의 Sprague Dawley Rat(female) 12마리를 1군으로 하여 $1{\~}6$개월간 사육하였다. 사육기간동안. 체중증가, 혈청의 생화학적 분석, 장기(심장 폐, 신장, 간. 비장, 뇌)의 무게차 이들 장기의 병리조직검사를 하였다. 인삼 사육관과 대조군의 성장율, 장기 무게와 혈구수는 통계적 유의성은 없었으나 혈청중의 triglyce-ride, total cholesterol, free cholesterol 함량은 대조군과 유사하였고 total lipid, free fatty acid는 대조군에 비해 약간씩 감소하였다. 그러나 실험군의 total protein, phospholipid, HDL-cholesterol은 대조군에 비해 증가하였다. 실험군의 병리조직검사에서도 대조군과 차이가 없었으나, 특히 대조군의 비장에서는 조혈기능을 지닌 거핵구세포가 다수 출현하였으며 인삼 투여기간과 용량에는 비례하지 않았다. $F_{1},\;F_{2}$세대의 적혈구, 백혈구, 장기 무게와 병리조직검사는 대조군과 유사하였으며 외형적 기형도 발견되지 않았다. 이상의 결과들로 고려인삼은 건강식품으로도 매우 안전하며 조혈기능도 촉진시킴을 시사해 준다.

  • Automobile company tries to reduce the inertia of powertrain to increase the fuel efficiency and increase the engine power every year to make the high speed driving possible at full load condition. These cause the torsional vibration of powertrain. But the demand about ride comfort improvement is increased constantly, so torsional vibration of powertrain become an emergency problem to be cured. This study is a basic research to reduce the torsional vibration of powertrain at driving condition. First, the heavy duty powertrain is characterized as a vibrating system. Its natural frequencies and mode shapes are reviewed. Second, by comparison of simulation results and experiment results, validity of developed model is verified. Finally, the couterplan which can reduce the torsional vibration by mode analysis and parameter modification is suggested.

  • In this paper, the shapes of windsurfing boards are proposed for the promotion of their public utilization. Initially, we investigated the principal dimensions of 1,500 windsurfing boards that were produced in the last six years to categorize the characteristics of the boards. Then, model tests were performed in a circulating water channel to determine the resistance characteristics and the flow phenomena, including the wetness of the decks. After analyzing the principal dimensions and the results of the tests of existing windsurfing boards, we proposed four public board shapes that resulted from changing the shapes of the nose and rail and protecting the deck of free-ride boards from wetness. Finally, we predicted the performance of the four proposed windsurfing boards.

  • In recent truck industry, ride quality improvement as well as payload capacity is a very important subject. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to study several sub-systems (powertrain, suspension, engine mount, exhaust, etc) of truck which are major components of vehicle. In this research, torsional vibration reduction method of 4$\times$2 truck powertrain is demonstrated by using computer simulation and experiment. First, truck powertrain is modeled as a vibration system and validity of developed model is verified by comparing free vibration results with experiment results. Second, Most key parameters which influence torsional resonance are examined utilizing mode analysis. Finally, frequency responses of truck powertrain are obtained and reduction counterplans of torsional vibration are suggested.

  • The non-periodic angular accelerations of engine are the major cause of gear rattle. This gear rattle is based on the existence of a backlash between the drive gear of input shaft and the free gear of output shaft in the gearbox. Especially, the neutral gear rattle have a very bad effect on the ride quality. Test-rig was constructed in order to evaluate the parameter influence upon the neutral gear rattle. Also, each different 4 type torsional characteristic of clutch was manufactured. Experimental conditions are the use of each different 4 type torsional characteristic of clutch and oil temperature variation in gearbox. In case of the same stiffiness of pre-damper type clutch at idling, the clutch of large hysteresis showed dam- ping effects at the 2nd input gear and the 2nd output gear. Also, the main-damper type clutch was shown to large resonance phenomenon at the 2nd input gear. Accordingly, main-damper type clutch was unapp- roriate at idling.

The Effect of Nutrients on the Production of Anti-Complementary Polysaccharide by Flammulina velutipes (Flammulina velutipes 항보체 활성다당의 생산에 미치는 영양원의 효과)

  • The effect of various nutrients for the production of the anti-complementary polysaccha- ride by Flammulina velutipes, was examined and the partial purification of the polysaccharide was carried out. The culture conditions and medium compositions considerably influenced the anti-complementary activity of the polysaccharides. When a culture was carried out at 23$\circ$C and pH 5.5 for 6 days in the synthetic medium supplemented with galactose and NaNO$_{3}$, the production of the anti-complementary polysaccharide was maximized. The crude polysaccharide, FV-1 was isolated from the culture broth and partially purified into two fractions, FV-1-II and FV-1-III by gel filtration using Sephadex G-100. FV-1-II was mainly consisted of xylose, mannose, galactose and glucose, and rhamnose, mannose and galactose, for FV-1-III. Also, the anti-complementary activity of FV-1-III was reduced partially in the absence of the Ca ion. When crossed immunoelect- rophoresis using anti-human C3 serum was carried out after incubation of normal human serum with the FV-1-III in the Ca ion free condition, a cleavage of C3 precipitin line was observed. These results indicate that the mode of complement activation by polysaccharide from Flammulina velutipes is via not only the classical pathway but also the alternative pathway.

  • It is known that tire plays an important role to the dynamic performances of a vehicle such as noise, vibration, ride and handling. Therefore, force and moment measurements have been a part of the traditional tire engineering process. In this paper, a computational analysis technique has been explored. A FE model is made to simulate inflation, vertical load due to the vehicle weight, and the slow rolling of a radial tire. A rigid surface with Coulomb friction is included in the model to simulate the slow rolling contact. The tire slip during the in-plane motion of the rigid surface is calculated. Results are presented for both lateral and vertical loads, as well as straight ahead free rolling. The calculated and measured tire slips are in good correlation.   • Recently, rolling stock technology has rapidly developed. Nevertheless, ride quality and vibration vibration on vehicle still need more study. EMU to be operated on SMRT Line 7(SR001) extension section is applied to oil-free reciprocating air compressor considering maintainability and convenience of inspection. But reciprocating air compressor compresses the air by back-and-forth motion of piston, and spreads the vibration to surrounding structures by its force of inertia. Optimum design of mounting bracket is able to reduce the vibration. As a result, we analyzed the frequency spectrum on vibration upon value by measuring vibration during operation of air compressor. On this study, we comprehend the vibration transmission process of reciprocating air compressor and consider the measure for reducing vibration by minimizing propagation of vibration.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze transport efficiency of each of the 17 urban railway lines being operated by national public agencies using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) and to seek strategies for improving efficiency of the urban railway system. The study identified the economies of scale derived from these values of efficiency and examined the effects on cost for free ride loss and profit of transport by the fare system as the external factor. At the time, Transport profits are estimated by two production factors such as the number of vehicles and service frequency derived from multiple regression. Finally, the measures to improve the efficiency were presented in terms of profitability in the national urban railway line by applying the values of efficiency derived from DEA to multidimensional scaling (MDS).
