Due to the low usage level of traditional financial services in many developing countries, Fintech services that often substitute for such traditional services with greater convenience have great potential in these markets. However, there have thus far been relatively few attempts to examine Fintech adoption in developing countries. As financial services are a highly sensitive industry in terms of government regulation and consumer trust, it is critical for policymakers to understand how to foster a healthy Fintech marketplace in developing country environments. In this paper, we review the scholarly literature on Fintech adoption with respect to three stakeholder groups: customers, service providers, and policymakers. Adding with practitioner-oriented documentation relating to Fintech adoption in Vietnam, we derive propositions for Fintech adoption research in Vietnam and similar developing countries. We collect these propositions as a framework that suggests avenues for future research.

This paper analyzes changes in the export potential and competitiveness of China, Japan, and Korea. The analysis of Japan's export market share reveals that in sectors where Korea's potential was strong in the early 1990s, Japan's market share diminished. This suggests the possibility that Korea was catching up with Japan, eating into Japan's market share. The same analysis of Korea's export market share in the 2000s shows, for items in which China's export potential was high, Korea's market share has declined comparatively since 2010, with the tendency growing much larger. China's export potential continues to expand in markets for Korea's key export products, making it difficult to rule out the possibility that Korea's competitiveness in key export products will be hindered, driven by the catching up of China. To respond to these challenges, it is important for Korea continuously to foster and enhance creative and core capabilities that latecomers will not easily be able to emulate.

Promoting Rural industry development projects with the support of the Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries had elapsed about 5 years old. Agency selected 30 municipalities they annually promoting business, its performance will be examined. The alternative analysis of the business problem and seeks to provide policy direction. Superior rural enterprises to build business through fostering rural industry than what the system of rural industries in the region to want to foster entrepreneurship, 6th industrialization area industrial structure for each of the items, and not continue to make policy judgments about the point of needis. Therefore, in this paper, so far, through the analysis of the performance of alternatives by sector presented.

"Trust" becomes a focal issue in e-business. Unlike traditional business environment, virtual situation requires new trust-ensuring mechanism other than face-to-face meetings and other related means of confirmation. Many countries are trying to foster trust services industry in order to increase e-business transactions and activities. This paper compares and contrasts these countries' policies on trust services. Conclusions of this comparative research includes: (1) trust services industry will be tightly integrated horizontally and increase their scope vertically towards trust in business sense over and beyond the mere technical level trust, (2) necessity of reciprocal trust authentication exchange is calling for an international standard in a near future, and (3) two different types of policies are under development: government-led and industry-led. Advantages and disadvantages of different approaches are presented with details of legal implications and structures of operations.

During cancer progression, bone marrow derived myeloid cells, including immature myeloid cells and macrophages, progressively accumulate at the primary tumour site where they contribute to the establishment of a tumour promoting microenvironment. A marked infiltration of macrophages into the stromal compartment and the generation of a desmoplastic stromal reaction is a particular characteristic of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDA) and is thought to play a key role in disease progression and its response to therapy. Tumour associated macrophages (TAMs) foster PDA tumour progression by promoting angiogenesis, metastasis, and by suppressing an anti-tumourigenic immune response. Recent work also suggests that TAMs contribute to resistance to chemotherapy and to the emergence of cancer stem-like cells. Here we will review the current understanding of the biology and the pro-tumourigenic functions of TAMs in cancer and specifically in PDA, and highlight potential therapeutic strategies to target TAMs and to improve current therapies for pancreatic cancer.

In this paper the formulation of an efficient frame element applicable for nonlinear analysis of 3D reinforced concrete (RC) frames is outlined. Interaction between axial force and bending moment is considered by using the fibre element approach. Further, section warping, effect of normal and tangential forces on the torsional stiffness of section and second order geometrical nonlinearities are included in the model. The developed computer code is employed for nonlinear static analysis of RC sub-assemblages and a simple approach for extending the formulation to dynamic cases is presented. Dynamic progressive collapse assessment of RC space frames based on the alternate path method is undertaken and dynamic load factor (DLF) is estimated. Further, it is concluded that the torsional behaviour of reinforced concrete elements satisfying minimum standard requirements is not significant for the framed structures studied.

The purpose of this article is to discuss the enhancement of medical professionalism and the artisan spirit proposed by Yu and to suggest curriculum content and methods to improve medical professionalism. Professionals are those who can share their knowledge with others and proceed under self-reflection on moral values and social expectations. The goal of medical education is to cultivate students to be good as well as to do well. To achieve this goal, educators should foster students to be good doctors for 99% of patients, rather than to be high performers for 1% of patients. There are two types of curriculum for medical professionalism: hidden and formative curricula. In these curricula, we doctors may be good role models for medical students. The curriculum contents and the methods for implementation that are based on accumulated experience can be embedded into education on professionalism. In addition, as suggested by Miller, how to evaluate medical professionalism based on a framework of clinical assessment must be discussed. Finally, it is suggested that the process of education on medical professionalism should be a kind of cultural movement to raise good doctors.

The purpose of this paper is to analyze the recent trends of the development of the English textbooks in EFL situation. The 7th National English Curriculum(NEC) in 2001 which emphasized the curriculum-centered school education have had much influence on the traditional textbook-centered school education in Korea. According to the paradigmatic change of school education, the contents of the English textbooks were changed into the new types of students-centered classroom activities. For students' communicative activities, the English textbooks were developed by two types of syllabuses: process-oriented syllabus and product-oriented syllabus. The 7th NEC includes procedural syllabus and task-based syllabus as well as grammatical- structural syllabus and notional-functional syllabus. In short, unlike the English textbooks in former curriculums, learners' classroom activities and tasks have been emphasized in those to foster their communicative competence.

Controllers for acoustic noise reduction in disk drives have been developed but they have slower seek time performance than time-optimal controllers. We propose a new seek servo controller that has acoustic noise reduction benefit and faster seek time performance than conventional controllers. The proposed controller is designed to make sure that head is moved with maximized acceleration and deceleration under the voltage limitation imposed on head-positioning motor and so it provides faster seek time than conventional controllers designed by considering the current limitation. The experimental results using a commercially available disk drive confirm that the use of the proposed controller results in foster seek time than conventional controllers for acoustic noise reduction.
