Analysis of surface design and panel optionsfor freeform building

  • Roof and exterior wall are designed and constructed in a manner that prevents the accumulation of water within the wall and roof assembly in the formal building. However, in a freeform building there is no clear distinction between exterior wall and roof. In other words, the exterior walls and roof systems of the freeform building are integrated as a surface, unlike the formal building envelope. Therefore, freeform architecture needs a systemized envelope design method to perform functions of exterior wall and roof. However, in many cases, construction methods for roof and exterior wall are applied to freeform buildings without necessary alterations, which lead to incomplete design, leakage, cracks and other problems. Freeform architecture is thus designed and constructed differently from formal buildings. In order to more easily and inexpensively actualize freeform architecture, Building Information Modeling (hereinafter referred to as BIM) has recently been applied in the construction industry. The studies and case analysis are not sufficient to identify the implications and contributions of freeform buildings in future similar projects. Therefore, this research will study design and construction methods for freeform surfaces. This study attempts to analyze the pros and cons of each method for the concrete surface frame, and then presents the panel options for envelope system of the freeform architecture.

함수 블록 다이어그램으로 구현된 PLC 프로그램에 대한 정형 검증 기법 (A Formal Verification Technique for PLC Programs Implemented with Function Block Diagrams)

  • 프로그래머블 로직 콘트롤러(PLC)가 원자력 계측제어 시스템과 같은 안전 필수 시스템 구현에 많이 사용됨에 따라, PLC 프로그램에 대한 정형검증의 필요가 높아지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 함수 블록 다이어램(FBD)으로 구현된 PLC 프로그램에 대한 자동화된 정형검증 기법을 제안한다. FBD 프로그램을 검증하기 위해서 먼저 FBD 프로그램을 검증언어인 Verilog로 변환하고, 변환된 Verilog모델에 대해 SMV 모델체커를 호출해 모델체킹을 수행한다. 자동화를 위해 FBD Verifier 도구를 개발하였다. FBD Verifier는 FBD 프로그램으로부터 Verilog 모델로의 자동변환 기능뿐 아니라 모델체킹 결과 생성된 반례를 직관적이고 효과적으로 분석할 수 있는 기능 또한 제공한다. 제안된 기법과 도구를 사용해 원전계측제어시스템 개발사업단의 원자로 보호시스템에 대한 방대한 양의 FBD 프로그램을 성공적으로 검증하였다.

패션업체 판매원의 자기결정성, 공유가치 및 커뮤니케이션 만족이 직무만족, 조직몰입 및 이직의도에 미치는 영향 (The effects of salesperson's self-determination, shared value, and communication satisfaction on job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in fashion companies)

  • The purpose of this study was to empirically examine the effects of salespeople's self-determination, shared value; and communication satisfaction on their job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and turnover intention in a fashion company. Questionnaires were administered to 475 salespeople who worked in fashion shop at the time of the study. The data was analyzed via factor analysis, correlation analysis, and a structural equation model. The results indicated that self-determination was extracted as autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Only the relatedness of self-determination factors was positively correlated with formal and informal communication satisfaction. In addition, recognizing hared value was positively correlated with formal and informal communication satisfaction; whereas, the practice of shared value was positively correlated with formal, but not informal communication satisfaction. Formal communication satisfaction was significantly correlated with job satisfaction and organizational commitment. Conversely, informal communication satisfaction was significantly correlated with job satisfaction, but was not related to organizational commitment. Finally, job satisfaction was significantly correlated with organizational commitment and negatively correlated with turnover intention. Moreover, organizational commitment was negatively correlated with turnover intention. The implications of this research for human resources management within fashion companies are discussed in the concluding section of this paper.

On the Balanced Blending of Formally Structured and Simplified Approaches for Utilizing Judgments of Experts in the Assessment of Uncertain Issues

  • Expert judgment is frequently employed in the search for the solution to various engineering and decision-making problems where relevant data is not sufficient or where there is little consensus as to the correct models to apply. When expert judgments are required to solve the underlying problem, our main concern is how to formally derive their technical expertise and their personal degree of familiarity about the related questions. Formal methods for gathering judgments from experts and assessing the effects of the judgments on the results of the analysis have been developed in a variety of ways. The most important interest of such methods is to establish the robustness of an expert's knowledge upon which the elicitation of judgments is made and an effective trace of the elicitation process as possible as one can. While the resultant expert judgments can remain to a large extent substantiated with formal elicitation methods, their applicability however is often limited due to restriction of available resources (e.g., time, budget, and number of qualified experts, etc) as well as a scope of the analysis. For this reason, many engineering and decision-making problems have not always performed with a formal/structured pattern, but rather relied on a pertinent transition of the formal process to the simplified approach. The purpose of this paper is (a) to address some insights into the balanced use of formally structured and simplified approaches for the explicit use of expert judgments under resource constraints and (b) to discuss related decision-theoretic issues.

건설기술인력의 일터학습 참여가 인적자원성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증분석 (Empirical Analysis on the Impact of Workplace Learning on Human Resource Performance of Construction Engineer)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 건설기술인력의 일터학습 참여 실태와 더불어 일터학습의 하위유형인 형식학습과 무형식학습이 각각 건설기술인력의 인적자원성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는가를 살펴보는 것이다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 2015년 한국직업능력개발원의 6차 인적자본기업패널조사 근로자용 설문자료에서 건설기술인력 306명의 응답치를 선택하여 활용하였다. 연구 결과, 건설기술인력의 일터학습(형식학습, 무형식학습) 참여는 10,069명 전체 근로자에 비해 상대적으로 낮은 수준에 머물러 있으며, 특히 무형식 학습의 참여는 더욱 낮은 수준이었다. 회귀분석 결과를 보면 형식학습의 참여는 직무만족과 직무몰입에만 정(+)의 영향을, 직무능력의 향상에는 영향을 미치지 못하는 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 무형식학습은 직무능력, 직무만족, 조직몰입 모두에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며 또한 형식학습에 비해 더욱 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

지식베이스 시스템과 형식 방법을 이용한 효과적인 인적자원 관리 (Effective Human Resource Management through knowledge based systems and formal methods)

  • Human Resource Management (HRM) performs numerous activities in organizations including employee recruitment, selection, placement, job analysis, training and development, and labor relations. POSCO (Pohang Steel Company) has concerned with employee management related to job placement and analysis among these activities because of the problems of over-complexity of placement precedures for the variety of recruits, the frequency of selection, a large amount of job descriptions / specifications, and their changes. This study, as a phase of developing the entire HRM systems in the organization, briefly summarizes the preliminary information related and describes an implementation of expert system as a means for effective job placement based on the principle of right-person-in-right-place with identifying aptitudes and personalities of employees. Thus, a new approach for developing a job description/specification using a formal specification language like Z is also proposed. The result of this study will cultivate the performance of personnel, prevent conflicts between labor and management, promote overall productivity of organization, as well as helpfully verify job analysis.

  • 온톨로지는 의미적인 지식을 표현하고, 공유하기 위해서 여러 분야에서 널리 사용되고 있으며, 특히 시멘틱 웹의 상호운용성을 해결할 수 있는 중요한 요소로 자리 잡고 있다. 현재 온톨로지의 구축을 지원하는 다양한 도구들과 방법론들이 제시되고 있지만, 실제 구축되어진 온톨로지가 실용적이고, 도메인의 정보를 정확하게 반영했는지 검증할 수 있는 도구나 방법은 매우 미비하다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 OWL언어로 구축되어진 온톨로지의 소스로부터 온톨로지의 주요 요소들을 추출하여 형식개념분석(Formal Concept Analysis)모델로 변환하고 분석함으로써, 온톨로지에 포함된 구조적인 문제점을 파악할 수 있는 방법과 도구에 대해서 설명한다. 본 연구에서 제시한 온톨로지 분석도구를 사용하면, 구축되어진 온톨로지에 포함된 구조적 오류 및 온톨로지의 구조를 수월하게 파악할 수 있고, 온톨로지 구축작업 및 수정보완에 있어서 더 좋은 개념계층구조를 갖는 온톨로지를 제안할 수 있다.

도달성 그래프를 이용한 SDL 표현 프로토콜 분석 기법 (An analysis scheme for protocols specified in SDL using reachability graph)

  • SDL has been standardized to specify behavioral aspects of communication systems based on the formal description technique, and it is powerful and user friendly in the sense of supporting human communication and understanding, formal analysis andcomparison of behaviors, alternative implementations and design optimization, and its structural decomposition. However, SDL is not sufficient for an efficient handing of entrire system descriptions because the communication systems are generally very complex, and composed from the various interactions among sub-systems. Also, it is very difficult to explicitly verify dynamic views such as liveness and reachability. it leads the demands on analysis scheme to verify dynamic behaviros of specified systems. This paper presents modeling concepts of Petri Nets from SDL and transformation rules to Numerical Petri Nets to provide efficient technqiques for verification of dynamic behaviors, and proposes the reachability garaph that is able to trace all reachable states of a modeled system and reduce an information loss on the reachability tree.

의복소비 및 활용실태 분석 (A Survey on the Pattern of Possession and Utilization of Clothes)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out more rational way to manage clothing. The study is based on a survey of daily clothing practices. 112 female college students who are majoring clothing, textiles, and/or home economics have responded to the questionnaires. With the samples, frequency, factor analysis, discriminant analysis, ANOVA, and Scheffe test are pursued respectively. Main results of the survey analysis could be summarized as follows : 1. Female college students are found to possess 70 units on average. They possess more of casual clothes such as polo·T shirts, casual pants, and casual shirts (from the highest frequency in order). They possess less of formal clothes such as one-piece and two-pieces (from the lowest frequency in oder). 2. It is found that 12 per cent of the possessed clothings are not used at all during the year. The unused rate is higher for the formal suits while it is lower for the casuals. 3. The possession pattern is affected by clothintg life style factors : brand and economic factors for the casuals ; fashion and individuality factors for the formals. 4. The possession pattern is also affected by the purchasing behavior factors, purchasing price among others.
