A revolutionary "Active Braze Coated Diamond" (ABCD) has been developed for bonding diamond grits firmly in the metal matrix. The molten braze is wetted and reacted with diamond to form strong chemical bond at the interface so that the diamond does not become knocked out of tools. The ABC is a nickel alloy that can form metallurgical diffusion bondswith the metal matrix. In essence, ABCD turns diamond into a metal grain so that the diamond tools can be made by conventional powder metallurgical process without being concerned about the poor bonding between matrix metal powder and the diamond as before.

This paper presents the control X-Y table being the precise movement by point-to-point in the x-y plane. The dual modulus technique is used for our system to control the frequency of pulse supplied to the motors. Such technique is used to stop motor of both axes accurately as the desired target point in the same period. Both motors are stepping motor. To Improve steps per revolution, we employ ministep form to drive motors. In system, personal computer, using parallel port, is used for computing algorithm in open-loop form to control motors. In experiment, our system applies on the X-Y table for drawing to test system performance.

This study assesses thermal environment of detached housing area by classifying buildings types with codes based on spatial characteristics and forms of the detached housing area and applying heat island alleviation measures, especially focused on FBCs (Form-Based Codes). We analyzed shapes and materials of outdoor space with 3D-CAD, which can affect the surface temperature of the case studies, focusing on heat island alleviation measures, and performed space design by applying relevant climate factors to a simulation. As to the 3D surface temperature and HIP distribution, low-temperature distribution was shown in the case studies when we applied heat island alleviation measures. FBCs (Form- Based Codes) is being developed for the purpose of creating new urban environment. This study is significant because it pays attention to the effects of surface temperatures on accumulation of sensible heat and reviews heat island alleviation measures with outdoor space shapes/materials in order to lower surface temperatures, aiming at improved pleasantness of the detached housing area.

The Korea railway design trends has been developed by the change of the society and culture through the consideration of the history of railway. The railway design trends is as the vehicles in the external form of railways, instantly means to plan and create the value added something like the form of the exterior design. The railway design has been changing form instinctive methods to settle the mass transport of the early days, to sensitive methods to pursue the railway culture centering around human being. As dividing by the style's change of railway in image scale aspects between 1800's and 2005 according to the life environment into the external nation, there are big differences so that is to study the development history of the railway design accordingly each nation (Korea, United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan) and the style's change, to confirm into the design applied in society and culture needs, and to analyze by a year in changes of the environment and the railway design history. This paper analyzed railway introduced as railway models by top 4 nation (United Kingdom, Germany, France, Japan) and Korea in the past years(1800-2005) for their Korea railway design trends by image scale positioning.

The objective of this study is to develop the predicting method of concrete strength when remove concrete form-work without making cement test piece at construction site. For this purpose, this study catches the Maturity Method by using RFID, the usability of which is now being emphasized at site, accumulates and record the strength data, which can be gained with the results of existing Maturity Method method that is accompanied with strength estimation study, in database, and finally proposes the system structure which can check the estimated strength by Maturity Method. The merits of this method by using of Maturity Method are as follows; More objective, precise, and rapid decision can be made to the concrete strength and about the maintaining period of concrete form and form support. More efficient control of integrated material management system can be possible. Architectural field example using RFID can be suggested more concretely. RFID applicability can be extended by using DB of material integration management system.

This study researched TV makeup types with a focus on Korean aesthetics. First, natural beauty is expressed with a random form that excluded artificial techniques or decorations often shown in the form of incompletion and space through TV entertainment programs. Incompletion is what excludes artificial technique and denies the whole completion in expressing a face, it shows the intentional incompletion that leaves it as a bare face that has no type, no color, and no decoration. A pursuit for purity, as nature leads to realizing the internal world of concentrating on the essence of object. Space is what makes it empty without filling, it offers a mental space in the inner side so that diverse images can be imagined beyond external form. This trend is indicated similarly to the tendency that the recent global interest in naturalism yearns for purity in nature and wellbeing. The presentation of skin (preferably healthy looking skin) is given attention; consequently, the similarity was being shown between the TV makeup that focuses on expressing skin and recent trends.

Currently , the growth of various platforms is remarkable , both at home and abroad . With the growth of various platforms such as PC, console, and VR as well as mobile, the global gaming industry market size has grown to reach KRW 151 trillion . However , in order to revitalize the domestic game market , which is growing at a slower pace, improve the concentration phenomenon that is concentrated on mobile and PC platforms , and select one of the games using IP that is being discussed as a new breakthrough , and determine what form the game will take. Through this study, we would like to suggest whether multi-platform is appropriate. The Digimon series generally attracts many fans through animation , and the Digimon story Cyber Sleuth, which utilizes new scenarios to satisfy them and arouse interest at the same time , can be seen as a representative success example We believe that through this interaction, users can continue to play the main content on their PC, and create synergy by being able to play and enjoy minimal content through mobile anytime , anywhere while doing other things.

Processors using the superscalar rchitecture can achieve high performance by executing multipel instructions in a clock cycle. It is made possible by having multiple functional units and issuing multiple instructions to functional units simultaneously. But instructions can be dependent on one another and these dependencies prevent some instructions form being issued at the same cycle. In this paper, we designed an issue unit of a superscalar RISC microprocessor that can issue four instructions per cycle. The issue unit receives instructions form a prefetch unit, and issues them in order at a rate of as high as four instructions in one cycle for maximum utilization of functional units. By using an instruction buffer, the unit decouples instruction fetch and issue to improve instruction ussue rate. The issue unit is composed of an instruction buffer and an instruction decoder. The instruction buffer aligns and stores instructions from the prefetch unit, and sends the earliest four available isstructions to the instruction decoder. The instruction decoder decodes instructions, and issues them if they are free form data dependencies and necessary functional units and rgister file prots are available. The issue unit is described with behavioral level HDL (lhardware description language). The result of simulation using C programs shows that instruction issue rate is improved as the instruction buffer size increases, and 12-entry instruction buffer is found to be optimum considering performance and hardware cost of the instruction buffer.
