운전자의 인체치수변화에 따른 지게차 페달 위치에 관한 연구 (A study on the pedal placement of forklift according to the various body dimensions)

  • This paper is a study on the pedal placement and driving position of forklift according to the various body dimensions. Comfortable driving position were measured angles of joint(ankle, knee, hip) by Goniometer. From SIP(seat index point) to basis of pedals were measured about X and Y axises. In addition, Z axises were gauged between floor and pedals. In this paper, The 27 male subjects with no experience in driving forklift were measured in the test in order to exclusion of learning effect. Therefore the subjects have a preference for pedal location to the body dimensions, if as long as their body dimensions was very long, they would required each pedal's location of Y axis to increase. However, driving position is no influence. The pedal location of X and Z axises weren't related with various body dimensions and subjects have symmetrical location to the pedals of inching and break and hight of brake pedal is lower than the others. They hope that brake pedal is lower than others.

  • An automatic transmission of construction equipment is controlled by hydraulic and electronic system for doing in various functions like as shifting and operation. The shifting is operated by the engaged and disengaged clutch motion from hydraulic power. On the shifting process, suitable pressure control to the clutch is required for smooth shifting. Hydraulic control system in the automatic transmission is divided by the pilot control type and the direct control type greatly. The direct control type has an advantage than the pilot control type. Because the structure is simple, the design and the manufacture are having less troubles and the system can be maximized precision pressure control. However, the excellent performance proportional control valve should be used to achieve proper control-ability. In this study, the dynamic analysis model composing the automatic transmission and hydraulic system for forklift truck is presented to simulate the characteristics of hydraulic system about the direct control type. That model is verified the validity compared the results of the testing examination. Parameters of input signal are analyzed to reduce the output torque according to input control signal is affected in shifting characteristic.

지게차 출발감각 평가지수 개발 (Development of Start Feel Index of a Forklift Truck)

  • In this paper the start fuel index was developed to estimate ride quality of a forklift truck during the start motion. Through the consultation with test drivers, definition of start feel was made, and three parameters were selected to describe the start motion. They are engagement shock in the forwarding direction, vertical and pitch vibration respectively. To find out the relation between the measured motion and the subjective fueling, both the subjective rating and the measurement of vehicle motions were performed simultaneously. The correlation analysis between the two kinds of results showed start fuel was expressed by the measured accelerations with accuracy and reliability, Use of the new index has advantages of not only evaluating start fuel only by the measured signals but providing the consistent results which are not affected by physical and mental state of a test driver. Usefulness of the new index was confirmed by verification test on four new forklift trucks of a same model, which showed the order of preference by the index was coincided that by subjective evaluation.

전동 지게차용 3상 유도 모터의 소음 진동 특성에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Characteristic of Noise and Vibration in 3-phase Induction Motor for the Forklift)

  • This paper presents the reduction of acoustic noise generated by electromagnetic force in an induction motor of the electrical forklift. After summarizing the electromagnetic excitation forces due to the interaction between the stator/rotor slot permeance and the stator winding magnetomotive force, the effects of the electromagnetic force on the noise and vibration of an induction motor are analyzed. In order to experimentally identify the noise sources of the motor, the signal analyses for noise and vibration are performed by using waterfall plots of noise and vibration spectrums. It is found that severe noise and vibration are caused by the electromagnetic force when the mode number of the excitation shape for a stator is low. Furthermore, it is verified that the motor noise is amplified if the excitation frequency of the electromagnetic force coincides with one of the natural frequencies of the stator. It is experimentally demonstrated that this severe noise can be considerably reduced by structure modifications. Finally, some design guidelines are suggested to develop an induction motor with a low level of noise.

직접제어 방식을 이용한 소형 지게차 변속감도 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (A Study on Simulation of Shift Sensitivity of Small Forklift Transmission using Direct Control Method)

  • The transmission control method of a small forklift is classified into a pilot control method and a direct control method. In the pilot control method, the complex hydraulic circuit consists of many components, making the production process too costly and time consuming. The direct control method contains fewer components that can be configured to simple hydraulic circuits. As another advantage, the input profile easily changes the shift sensitivity of the transmission. Therefore, this research considers the characteristics of the direct control method in the development of hydraulic system design. This paper will present a simulation of the direct control transmission using AMESim. First, modeling of the direct control method is obtained and simulated with real parameters. The simulation results then are carried out and compared with the experimental results to verify and analyze the characteristics of the direct control method.

  • The transmission control method of small forklift is classified into pilot control method and direct control method. In pilot control method, the hydraulic circuit which consists a lot of components is very complex so the production process is too costly and time consuming. The direct control method contains fewer components that can be configured to simple hydraulic circuit. It has more advantages because the shift sensitivity of transmission is changed easily via the input profile. In this paper, the controller design and the input profile for system are studied to apply to the direct control method. The input profile consists of Fill section, Hold section and Ramp section. The characteristic of each section is obtained through experiment. As the result, the shift sensitivity and starting performance are effected by Fill section and Hold section.

다양한 인체치수에 따른 산업차량의 핸들과 폐달 위치에 관한 연구 (A Study about Steering Wheel and Pedal Position of Industrial Vehicle by the Various Body Dimensions)

  • This study determined the optimal positions of the movable steering wheel and pedal systems of industrial vehicle by various body dimensions. The position of objects and starting driving posture were measured by Martin-type anthropometer and goniometer. The X, Y and Z axis of movable steering wheel and pedal systems were measured horizon distance from right side to left side, horizon distance from front side to rear side and vertical distance from floor to ceiling. During the experiment in order to exclude learning effectiveness with forklift driving, 27 subjects who had male not experiences in driving a forklift used in the experiment. The relationship between the position of steering wheel and driver's posture with body dimensions was analyzed by using correlation relation and paired comparison t-test based on the measured data. The pedal location in X and Z axises was not related with various body dimensions. Also, the steering wheel was different among the angles of the right elbow and shoulder depending on the various body dimensions.

지게차의 제도적, 기술적, 교육적 요인이 재해감소에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Impact of Forklift Institutional, Technical, and Educational Factors on a Disaster Reduction)

  • 연구목적: 지게차 산업재해 감소를 위해 제도적, 기술적, 교육적인 요인들로 구분하여 각 요인이 재해 감소에 영향을 미치는가에 관한 연구가 필요하다. 연구방법: 리커트 5점 척도를 기반으로 한 오프라인 설문지를 바탕으로 SPSS 18 프로그램을 사용하여 기술통계 분석, 타당도 분석, 신뢰도 분석 및 다중 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 다중 회귀분석 결과 재해감소에 대한 독립 변수인 제도적, 기술적, 교육적 요인이 종속변수인 재해 예방 분산의 약 62.5%를 설명하는 것으로 나타났다. 회귀모형 검증은 F=118.775, 유의확률 p<0.01로 통계적으로 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 첫째, 3톤 미만 전동식 지게차를 검사제도에 포함하여 재해를 예방할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 지게차 충돌 재해를 예방하기 위한 전·후방 카메라 설치와 지게차 라인 빔(Line Beam) 설치를 의무화할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 지게차 관련 특별교육을 매년 시행할 필요가 있고, 운전자 및 인근 근로자를 지게차 특별교육 대상에 포함할 필요가 있다.
