In the framework of generalized convex spaces, we show that generalized KKM maps can be regarded as ordinary KKM maps, and obtain some applications to equilibrium result, maximal element theorems, and almost fixed point theorems on multimaps of the Zima type.

Let(X, $\Im$) be a probabilistic metric space with a t-norm. Common fixed point theorems and convergence theorems generalizing the results of Ćirić, Fisher, Sehgal, Istrătescu-Săcuiu and others are proved for three mappings P,S,T on X satisfying $F_{Pu, Pv}(qx){\geq}min\left{F_{Su,Tv}(x),F_{Pu,Su}(x),F_{Pv,Tv}(x),F_{Pu,Tv}(2x),F_{Pv,Su}(2x)\right}$ for every $u, v {\in}X$, all x>0 and some $q{\in}(0, 1)$. One of the main results is extended to uniform spaces. Mathematics Subject Classification (1980): 54H25.

Our aim in this paper is to give some new proofs to fixed point theorems due to Abdou [1] for mappings satisfying Reich type contractions in modular metric spaces. We removed the restriction that ω satisfies the ∆₂-type condition imposed on the results of [1]. Furthermore, Lemma 2.6 of [1] which was crucial in the proofs of the results of [1] is not needed in the proofs of our results. Our method of proof is simpler and interesting.

In this article, we introduce the concept of ordered dualistic partial metric spaces and establish an order relation on quasi dualistic partial metric spaces. Later on, using this order relation, we prove xed point theorems for single and multivalued mappings. We support our results with some illustrative examples.

A metrical common fixed point theorem proved for a pair of self mappings due to Sastry and Murthy ([16]) is extended to symmetric spaces which in turn unifies certain fixed point theorems due to Pant ([13]) and Cho et al. ([4]) besides deriving some related results. Some illustrative examples to highlight the realized improvements are also furnished.

Let E and F be Banach spaces with $X{\subset}E$ and $Y{\subset}F$. Suppose that X is weakly compact, convex and has the fixed point property for a nonexpansive mapping, and Y has the fixed point property for a multivalued nonexpansive mapping. Then $(X{\oplus}Y)_p$, $1{\leq}$ P < ${\infty}$ has the fixed point property for a multi valued nonexpansive mapping. Furthermore, if X has the generic fixed point property for a nonexpansive mapping, then $(X{\oplus}Y)_{\infty}$ has the fixed point property for a multi valued nonexpansive mapping.

The boundary conditions $\tilde{P}_0$ and $\tilde{P}_1$ were introduced in [5] by using the Hodge decomposition on the de Rham complex. In [6] the Atiyah-Bott-Lefschetz type fixed point formulas were proved on a compact Riemannian manifold with boundary for some special type of smooth functions by using these two boundary conditions. In this paper we slightly extend the result of [6] and give two examples showing these fixed point theorems.

In this paper, we obtain some common fixed point theorems of single and multivalued maps under hybrid contractive conditions satisfying weakly commuting in IFMS. Our results extend previous ones in IFMS.
