Effects of Culture Mechanism of Cinnamomum kanehirae and C. camphora on the Expression of Genes Related to Terpene Biosynthesis in Antrodia cinnamomea

  • The rare edible and medicinal fungus Antrodia cinnamomea has a substantial potential for development. In this study, Illumina HiSeq 2000 was used to sequence its transcriptome. The results were assembled de novo, and 66,589 unigenes with an N50 of 4413 bp were obtained. Compared with public databases, 6,061, 3,257, and 2,807 unigenes were annotated to the Non-Redundant, Gene Ontology, and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes databases, respectively. The genes related to terpene biosynthesis in the mycelia of A. cinnamomea were analyzed, and acetyl CoA synthase (ACS2 and ACS4), hydroxymethylglutaryl CoA reductase (HMGR), farnesyl transferase (FTase), and squalene synthase (SQS) were found to be upregulated in XZJ (twig of C. camphora) and NZJ (twig of C. kanehirae). Moreover, ACS5 and 2,3-oxidized squalene cyclase (OCS) were highly expressed in NZJ, while heme IX farnesyl transferase (IX-FIT) and ACS3 were significantly expressed in XZJ. The differential expression of ACS1, ACS2, HMGR, IX-FIT, SQS, and OCS was confirmed by real-time quantitative reverse transcription PCR. This study provides a new concept for the additional exploration of the molecular regulatory mechanism of terpenoid biosynthesis and data for the biotechnology of terpenoid production.

구동 각도 조절이 가능한 가변형 4절링크 설계 (Design of variable 4-bar linkage structure for adjustable driving angle)

  • 다양한 산업분야에서 사용되는 4절 링크기구는 링크 길이가 고정되어 있으므로 기구의 움직임을 변경하기 위해서는 독립적인 링크기구나 제어장치를 추가해야 하는 불편함이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 상황에 따라 링크기구의 운동을 선택적으로 제어할 수 있도록 링크 길이가 조절되는 가변형 4절 링크기구를 설계하였으며 링크기구에 의해 구동되는 제품인 선풍기에 적용하여 그 타당성을 검증하였다. 바람 범위의 효율성을 고려하여 선풍기 회전각도를3단계로 분할하였으며 각 구간에 필요한 링크 길이를 계산하였다. 또한, 원통캠을 이용하여 링크 길이를 조절하였으며 선풍기의 회전각도 조절 작동 여부를 실제 제작 및 측정을 통해 확인하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 가변형 링크기구는 산업용 로봇이나 연료 밸브 시스템 등과 같은 4절링크 적용 제품의 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

대학생의 거부민감성과 반응적 공격성 간의 관계: 자기개념 명확성과 적대적 귀인편향의 매개효과 (The Relationship between Rejection Sensitivity and Reactive Aggression in University Students: Mediating Effects of Self-Concept Clarity and Hostile Attribution Bias)

  • 본 연구는 대학생을 대상으로 거부민감성이 반응적 공격성과 어떠한 관련이 있는지 알아보고. 거부민감성이 반응적 공격성에 미치는 영향에서 자기개념 명확성과 적대적 귀인편향의 매개효과가 있는지 확인하기 위하여 진행되었다. 이를 위하여 만 18세 이상 대학생을 대상으로 자기 보고식 설문을 온라인으로 실시하였으며, 총 250명의 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 자료분석은 SPSS 27.0을 사용하여 변수의 기초통계량을 확인하였고 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관분석을 실시하였다. 또한 AMOS 21.0을 사용하여 모델의 적합도를 확인하였으며, 부트스트래핑(Bootstrapping) 방식으로 간접효과의 유의성을 검증하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 거부민감성이 자기개념 명확성을 통해 반응적 공격성에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 거부민감성이 적대적 귀인편향을 증가시키고 이로 인해 반응적 공격성이 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 거부민감성이 자기개념 명확성과 적대적 귀인편향을 통해 순차적으로 반응적 공격성에 간접적으로 정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 대학생의 반응적 공격성에 영향을 미치는 심리적 요인을 확인함으로써 범죄와 같은 사회문제와 관련이 있는 반응적 공격성에 대한 개입에서의 심리학적 접근의 필요성과 치유 및 예방을 위한 기초자료를 제시하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구의 제한점 및 후속 연구에 필요한 시사점을 제안하였다.

Effect of perceived luxuriousness on brand equity

  • The term used to describe consumer's valuation of a brand is brand equity. One concept that can be managed and may impact valuation of a prestige brand is "luxuriousness." As the concept of "luxuriousness" appears to be a key factor contributing to the equity of a prestige brand, the purpose of this study was to examine how luxuriousness is related to the brand equity utilizing a model developed by Yoo, Donthu, and Lee (2000). Yoo et al. (2000) identified three dimensions [brand association with awareness (BA), perceived quality (PQ), brand loyalty (BL)] accounted for the equity (OBE) of a brand. We speculated that the five dimensions of luxuriousness (i.e., quality, extended self, hedonism, accessibility, and tradition) would selectively influence the two dimensions of brand equity (BA, PQ) and that loyalty would mediate the relationship between the two dimensions of brand equity (BA, PQ) and overall brand equity. A total of 502 participants aged from 18 to 74 were surveyed in USA. Using AMOS 18, the path analysis was conducted with the maximum-likelihood estimation procedure. The model exhibited a good fit with the data and all hypotheses were supported except one. Quality, accessibility, and hedonism dimensions of luxuriousness affected perceived quality of the equity of a brand. Hedonism and extended self dimensions affected brand association with awareness. However, tradition dimension did not significantly influence brand association with awareness. Overall, this research expands understanding of brand equity as it documents the contributions of luxuriousness, a component that can be controlled by brand managers.

개념이해와 학습활동을 고려한 네트워크 및 디지털 창작도구 교육과정 모델 개발 (Development of Network and Digital creation tools Curriculum Model to consider understanding concepts and learning activity)

  • 본 연구는 학교현장의 SW교육과정 적용을 위해 SW교육 중 네트워크 및 디지털 창작도구 교육과정에 대한 연구이다. 이를 위해 국내외 SW교육과정 분석을 통한 주요한 키워드를 추출하여 개념이해와 학습활동 요소를 각 영역별 특성에 맞게 재구조화한 교육과정 모델을 개발하였다. 네트워크 영역은 개념이해 중심, 디지털 창작도구 영역은 활동중심의 형태로 영역별 교육과정을 모델링하였으며, 이를 기반으로 영역별 내용요소를 구성하여 전문가 검증을 통한 타당도를 제시하였다. 또한 다른 영역의 내용요소들을 결합하여 학교에서 재구성하기 쉽게 제시되었고 연구의 결과는 국내 SW교육과정 표준모델 적용을 위한 기초연구 자료로써 활용되기를 기대한다.

평가인증기준에서 바라본 대전시 보육시설사례의 시설공간구성과 보육실 영역구성 조사 (Analysis of Space Organization and Classroom Zoning of Childcare Centers in Daejeon City by the Childcare Accreditation Criteria)

  • This study examines diagrams of space organization and classroom activity zoning through Korean Childcare Accreditation Criteria, and compares space diagrams with childcare facilities in Daejeon, and looks at similarities and differences between them. Space diagram from accreditation criteria show the classroom, adjoining toilets, napping areas, and community areas for playing, reading, cooking, teaching and holding materials. Classroom zone diagrams show 8 activity zones for entering, washing and toilet, making art, playing, reading, studying science, resting, playing role and wooden block. Six case studies in Daejeon, Korea were surveyed and classified into big, medium and small size facilities by the number of children. The space organization of case studies are similar to the diagrams, except that outdoor playground and indoor playrooms were not large enough at the small and medium size facilities. Classroom activity zoning was very similar to the conceptions, excluding the playarea from classroom, integrating the rest areas for reading, subdividing art into music and art, science, and into math and science, roleplay into roleplay and wooden block. In conclusion childcare centers in Daejeon are designed to the concept diagram of the accreditation criteria, with some flexibility, exclusion, integration, and subdivision of space and activity zones. It has been requested as to make each criteria fit to the facility sizes-big, medium and small.

청소년의 행복감 향상을 위한 요가와 차 명상 복합 프로그램 개발을 위한 기초연구 (A Study to develop a Combined Yoga and Tea Meditation program to Enhance the Happiness for Adolescents)

  • This research aimed to determine how a combined yoga and tea meditation program would affect the happiness of adolescents. The investigation was conducted over a total of 11 sessions held twice a week with 15 female middle-school students. Each session lasted 90 min and comprised preparation for 5 min, Hatha yoga for 50 min, tea meditation for 15 min, the expression of feelings for 15 min, and 5 min were allocated to finishing the program and announcing the next session time. A t-test was performed before and after the program to analyze the effects of the program. A goodness of fit test, which is related to the improvement of happiness, was done through a path analysis. As a result, we were able to determine meaningful changes in the t-test scores of happiness, stress, and quality of life. The scores of mindfulness, physical self-concept, and self efficiency changed positively, but meaningful changes were not shown. To derive a final conclusion, we verified the mediator effect with respect to happiness through a structural model. Consequently, physical self-concept was activated as a promoter for improving self-efficiency and mindfulness. Mindfulness was the key factor that improved the happiness of the adolescent subjects.

교과서에 표현된 복소수와 이에 대한 학생들의 이해 실태 분석 (Complex number on textbooks and Analysis on understanding state of students)

  • In this study, contents of 'the 2007 revised curriculum handbook' and 16 kinds of mathematics textbooks were analyzed first. The purpose of this study is to examine the understanding state of students at general high schools by making questionnaires to survey the understanding state on contents of chapter of complex number based on above analysis. Results of research can be summarized as follows. First, the content of chapter of complex number in textbook was not logically organized. In the introduction of imaginary number unit, two kinds of marks were presented without any reason and it has led to two kinds of notation of negative square root. There was no explanation of difference between delimiter symbol and operator symbol at all. The concepts were presented as definition without logical explanations. Second, students who learned with textbook in which problems were pointed out above did not have concept of complex number for granted, and recognized it as expansion of operation of set of real numbers. It meant that they were confused of operation of complex numbers and did not form the image about number system itself of complex number. Implications from this study can be obtained as follows. First, as we came over to the 7th curriculum, the contents of chapter of complex number were too abbreviated to have the logical configuration of chapter in order to remove the burden for learning. Therefore, the quantitative expansion and logical configuration fit to the level for high school students corresponding to the formal operating stage are required for correct configuration of contents of chapter. Second, teachers realize the importance of chapter of complex number and reconstruct the contents of chapter to let students think conceptually and logically.

아동의 그림을 통해 본 공간인지와 조작능력 (An Analysis of Spatial Cognition and Operation in Children's Drawings)

  • 이 논문의 연구목적은 초등학교 아동의 사회 교과서 내용 중 지리영역 학습내용구성의 개선에 기여할 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하는 데 있다. 이러한 목적을 위하여 공간인지발달이론을 초등학교 학생의 그림분석을 통해 검증하였다. 분석의 결과, 공간의 조작능력은 연령의 종가와 더불어 형상적 공간에서 투영적 공간을 거쳐 기하학적 공간을 조작하는 과정으로 진행됨을 알 수 있었다. 이는 피아제와 인헬데르의 인지발달이론에서 주장하는 바와 일치하였다. 그러나 그들이 제시한 각 조작기별 해당 연령은 실제와 비교하면 조작기 구분의 엄밀한 기준이 되지 않음을 보여 주었다. 그 이유는 같은 연령의 아동간에도 현격한 개인차를 지니기 때문이다. 이와 같은 연구의 결과는 지리 교육적으로 다음과 같은 시사점을 제공한다: 첫째, 초등학교 3학년 교과서의 내용 중 사진과 그림지도와 삽화 등이 아동의 지적 수준에 맞는지 의문스럽다. 둘째, 3학년 아동에게 그림지도를, 4학년 아동에게 실측도와 유사한 지도를 직접 그리게 하는 것은 기하학적 공간의 조작에 속하므로 큰 무리가 따른다.

무치악 환자 에서 Neutral Zone 방법을 적용한 임상 증례 (Treatment of Edentulous Patient with Neutral Zone Technique : A Clinical Case)

  • The prosthodontic treatment of severely resorbed edentulous patients has been one of the frustrating areas due to extensive loss of tissues. The integrated neuromuscular balance among tongue, lip, and cheek is compromised. The retention, stability, and support are the three major factors to influence the clinical outcome. Fish described a denture as having three surface, with each surface playing an independent and important role in the over all fit, stability, and comfort of the denture. He recommended that the polished surface should be a series of inclines so that pressure from muscular activity will retain dentures. Within the denture space there is an area that has been termed the neutral zone. The neutral zone is that area in the mouth where, during function, the forces of the tongue pressing outward are neutralized by the forces of the cheeks and lips pressing inward. According to Jacobson and Krol, neuromuscular control interacts to provide retention and the relationship of polished surface of denture base to the surrounding muscular structure of orofacial capsule facilitates the stability and retention. This neutral zone concept has been demonstrated with various modification by a number of authors. The theory used to develop the denture base contours is based on the belief that the muscle should functionally mold not only the border but the entire polished surface. Lott and Walsh reported the clinical success on complete mandibular dentures with application of neutral zone concept. A number of studies demonstrated that denture stability and retention are more dependent on correct position of the teeth and correct contour of external surfaces of the denture in a severely resorbed alveolar ridge. This article presents a prosthodontic approach to treatment of a edentulous patient using neutral zone technique to improve the retention and stability of the prosthesis.
