실습선 부산403호의 복원성 변화 (Alteration of the Stability in Training Ship Pusan 403)

  • 부산수산대학 실습선 부산403호의 내부개조 및 중량물의 철거로 인한 복원성의 변화를 측정하기 위하여 경사시험을 실시하고, 개조전과 시험시의 GM, K, GA의 값을 비교하였으며, 또한 어선 설비 등에 관한 규칙 및 IMO 규정에 비추어 복원성능을 검토하였다. 1. 경하 및 만재출항상태에서의 GZ값은 각각 0.307m 및 0.325 m 여서 복원성에는 이상이 없는 것으로 판단된다. 2. 경하상태에서는 개조전보다 GM이 0.046m 작고, KG 0.141 m 크나, 복원성에는 지장이 없는것으로 보아진다. 3. 만재출항상태에서 탱크 내 액체의 자유표면의 유동을 고려하지 않을 때는 개조전보다 GM이 0.163 m 작고 KG가 0.173 m 크나 복원성에는 지장이 없는 것으로 간주된다. 그러나 탱크 내 액체의 자유표면의 유동을 고려하면 GM 0.275m는, 어선 설비 등에 관한 규칙에서 산정한 GM의 기준치인 0.353m에 미치지 못하므로 이에 대한 보완이 필요하다고 본다.

실습선의 선형 변화에 따른 멀미 지수 개선 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of MSI by Ship Hull Form Modification of the Training Ship)

  • Research on ship motion and seasickness is recognized as the important research area to ensure the pleasant operative environment in addition to the research of operation safety of ship. In this paper, The motion performance in waves for the training ship Kaya of Pukyong National University is obtained by using the computer program based on Strip method. To guarantee the pleasant seafaring in ocean, the vertical acceleration of ship motion is calculated according to the hull form modification. The results of calculation by changes of hull form are compared with the guideline of MSI(Motion Sickness Incidence). The degree of motion sickness is shown and discussed through the comparison between calculated vertical acceleration spectrum and MSI guideline.

  • Marine accidents caused by ships are very diverse, such as collision, sinking, stranding, grounding and fire. In particular, persons on passenger ship are unspecified and not trained, so it makes evacuation harder. For this reason, an evacuation plan that considers diverse situation in ship is needed. Effective evacuation planning requires training in consideration of various evacuation situations. In this paper, we investigated the time elapsed on evacuation in various situations from "HANMIR," the fishery training ship of the Korean Institute of Maritime and Fisheries Technology, using a Ship Evacuation Analysis Program (SEA-Pro) which is introduced to the society. We assumed a situation that has not only inconveniences for real training but also the possibilities of happening. Not all trainees are resting in their cabin, so we assumed positions such as they are in the bridge or engine room and applied fire and flooding situations. We assumed that the time for alerting the situation would be short, so we applied only elapsed time of movement. Those analyses could be helpful in three ways. The first is predicting the consequence of possible accidents. There are some conditions that can be appliable to this model, such as the decreased area of sight in those situations. The second is concluding the optimal limit of carriage and placement of safety instruments on building a new ship. The third is to be a base data for ships to make a new effective evacuation plan based on these analyses.

LNG 벙커링 종사자 교육 콘텐츠 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Design of Training Contents for LNG Bunkering Workers)

  • 국제해사기구(IMO)의 대기오염물질 배출 규제에 대응하기 위해 액화천연가스(LNG)를 연료로 사용하는 선박이 증가하고 있다. 이와 함께 선박의 안정적인 연료 수급을 위한 LNG 벙커링 인프라 확대의 필요성이 대두되고 있다. LNG 벙커링은 TTS(Truck to ship), PTS(Pipe to ship), STS(Ship to ship) 3가지 방식으로 진행된다. 외국에서는 3가지 방식 모두 진행하고 있지만, 국내의 경우 인프라 부족으로 TTS 방식으로만 LNG 벙커링이 진행되고 있다. LNG 벙커링은 위험 요소가 많은 작업으로 안전한 벙커링 작업을 위해 작업 종사자의 역량이 아주 중요하며 역량 강화를 위한 전문교육과정이 필요하다. 본 연구는 LNG 벙커링 전문인력 육성과 안전하고 체계적인 벙커링 작업수행을 목적으로 LNG 벙커링 종사자 교육 콘텐츠를 설계하기 위해 진행되었다. 이를 위해 LNG 연료추진선박 및 벙커링 현황을 파악하고 국내외 관련 교육내용을 분석하였다. 더불어 전문가 설문을 통해 교육내용의 중요성에 대한 의견을 수렴하였다. 연구의 결과로서 다양한 교육 대상에 적합한 교육 콘텐츠 설계를 하고, 이를 총 4일이 소요되는 기초교육과 상급교육 과정으로 구분하여 제안하였다. 설계된 교육 콘텐츠를 바탕으로 우리나라 벙커링 환경을 충분히 반영하여 추가 연구가 진행된다면 LNG 벙커링 종사자 역량 증진을 도모하고 인적 자원 육성에 큰 도움이 될 것으로 사료 된다.

  • For boarding comfort and pleasant boarding sensitivity of passenger in passenger ship, there are a few methods such as motion sickness rate or MSI(Motion Sickness Incidence) to assess safety of passenger ship. To find out MSI or motion sickness rate of the training vessel Kaya of Pukyong National University, we use lots of various factors: sea condition, incident angle in main sail way, economic speed, calculation position of motion sickness, sea state, work place and reduce zone of ship. In this paper, we adopted Maxsurf Seakeeper program based on Strip Theory and carefully compared theoretical results with experimental results.

실습선 새바다호의 천수역 선회운동에 관한 연구 (A study on the turning-motion of T/S SAEBADA in shallow water)

  • The authors has predicted the maneuvering characteristics of a fishing vessel in deep water using Kijima's empirical formula in a previous study. Since the Kijima's empirical formula was developed by a regression analysis of merchant vessels which have dimensions ($C_b$, L/B, etc.) that are different from those of fishing vessels, it was possible to make a prediction approximately even with inaccurate estimation. In this study, the authors estimated the turning-motion characteristics of a model ship of fisheries training ship in shallow water based on the results of its previous study. The turning-motion characteristics of the model ship in shallow water was found out through quantitative analysis according to the water depth to ship draft ratio (H/d). In conclusion, the turning-motion characteristics of the model ship had significant changes immediately after an H/d 1.5, and this result will be helpful for sailing in shallow water.

실습선의 효율적 교육 인원 및 설비 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on Improvement of Efficient Educational Personnel and Facility in the Training Ship)

  • 본 논문에서는 상선사관을 위한 실습선에서의 효율적으로 실습 가능한 적정실습인원 및 설비 개선에 대한 연구를 수행하였다. 연구 수행을 위해 상선해기사를 양성하는 교육기관의 실습선에서 교육중인 실습생과 교원을 대상으로 적정 교육 인원에 대한 설문을 실시하고 실습 면적을 포함한 교육 설비에 대한 전반적인 제원 조사를 실시하여 이번 연구에 대한 기초자료를 준비하였다. 또한 연구의 신뢰성을 향상시키기 위해 인간공학에서 제시하는 공간개념을 도입하여 이번 연구에 적용하였다. 이러한 기초 연구 자료와 개념을 통해서 항해통합콘솔 장치라는 항해 실습생을 위한 교육 설비와 기관실습생을 위한 설비인 기기 정비 운용 실습교육장을 제안하였다. 그리고 제시된 설비에서 교육 받을 수 있는 적정 인원을 제시하였다.

연료 절감을 위한 최적운전 조건 -신습선 부산 402호의경우- (The Optimum Operating Condition for Reduction of Fuel Consumption -In the Case of Training Ship Pusan 402-)

  • This paper aims at finding out the optimum operating condition to reduce fuel consumption for the training ship Pusan 402 with controllable pitch propeller. For this purpose, this paper examints the variation of ship speed and fuel consumption in accordance with the change of engine revolution and propeller pitch. The results obtained are as follows: 1. When engine revolution is constant, the ship speed sluggishly increases according to the increase of propeller pitch but fuel consumption extremely increases. The higher revolution the engine is, the more remarkable this tendency is. 2. As the engine revolution becomes lower, the fuel consumption per mile decreases. Howt.er = the fuel consumption under the same engine revolution differs according to the propeller pitch. 3. Specific fuel consumption is uniformed about 180g/ps.h at any case of load. 4. Among the various operating conditions which yield the same ship speed, fuel consumption lowers in the case of lower engine revolution and larger propeller pitch.

어선원 기초안전교육 교육과정 및 제도 개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of the Basic Safety Training Course and Regulation for Fishing Vessel Seafarers)

  • The basic safety training for fisheries is being conducted to cope with an emergency situation and prevent the maritime accidents. A new joined person must be educated the safety training and a refresher must be completed the refresher training course every 5 year in according to the STCW-F and seafarers' Act. In order to achieve the objectives of marine safety training, it is necessary to distinguish the trainees by ship's type and the courses should be implemented in consideration of safety equipment of fishing vessels. However, since the classification criteria of seafarers' Act are unclear, the officer of fishing vessels which is over G/T 25 tons has been trained through the same course and curriculum for merchant ship's seafarers. About 80 % of domestically registered fishing vessels are small size ships(less than 100 tons) and there is not many safety equipment required by law. In case of marine accidents such as collision, the small vessel losses its buoyancy and stability caused by damage of hull. despite fisheries fall into the sea during fishing work in bad weather on the deck, there was no safety equipment by law. So fisheries must be trained by a safety training course suitable for fishing vessel. The purpose of this study is to develope the suitable course for fisheries by analysis current curriculum and rules. so suggested the basic safety training course for fisheries and institutional improvement.
