사할린가자미(Limanda sakhalinensis)의 난발생 과정 및 자치어 형태발달 (Egg Development and Morphological Change of Larvae and Juveniles of the Sakhalin Sole Limanda sakhalinensis)

  • Egg development and morphological change of larvae of the Sakhalin sole Limanda sakhalinensis were studied by observing specimens obtained in a rearing experiment from fertilized eggs to the juvenile stage. The wild broodstock was collected in January 2010 and kept in a circular water tank (${\O}1.5{\times}1m$) at a temperature of $14.5{\pm}0.5^{\circ}C$. Fertilized eggs ranged from 0.72 to 0.82 mm ($0.77{\pm}0.07mm$, $mean{\pm}SD$) in diameter. The eggs were spherical, transparent and adhesive demersal. The egg yolk was divided from the oocyte 10 min after fertilization (AF), and an embryo was formed in 36 h AF. More than 50% of the eggs hatched within 133 h AF. The mouth and anus did not open until $3.5{\pm}0.25mm$ total length (TL). At 4, days after hatching (AH), the fish became larvae 3.7 to 4.2 mm ($4.0{\pm}0.36mm\;TL$), yolk absorption was completed and the mouth began to open. The left eye moved upward and the nostril moved to the right at 39 days AH. These post-larvae ranged from 8.0 to 9.9 mm TL ($8.9{\pm}1.33mm\;TL$). At 50 days AH, the fish became juveniles ($12.4{\pm}1.20mm\;TL$) There were 70-72 dorsal fin rays, 55-56 anal fin rays, 11 pectoral fin rays, and 6 ventral fin rays and the juveniles adopted a benthic life.

  • The effects of noise stress response on hematological parameters (hemoglobin, hematocrit and MCHC) and plasma parameters (cortisol, glucose and albumin) in Korean rockfish (Sebastes schlegeli), a very important commercial marine fish in Korea, were investigated. These parameters were analyzed on fish exposed to an explosion of noise. There were no significant differences or trends in hematological parameters (hematocrit; control $29.7{\pm}4.8%$, experiment 32.0 35.5%; hemoglobin; control $6.5{\pm}0.7g/dL$, experiment 6.2 7.8 g/dL; MCHC; control $19.6{\pm}0.6g/dL$, experiment 19.9~22.2 g/dL). However, plasma cortisol and glucose exhibited significant differences from start to finish and displayed the following patterns (cortisol; control $180.7{\pm}35.4ng/mL$, experiment 247.0 444.5 ng/mL; glucose; control $32.5{\pm}6.3mg/dL$, experiment 50.5 109.0 mg/dL). In addition, the glucocorticoid receptor (GR) mRNA expression and basal levels of various tissues (eye, gills, liver, intestine, skin and gonads) were investigated for the first time in this marine fish. When the Korean rockfish was exposed to explosive noise stress, the GR mRNA was expressed more in the gonads than in other tissues tested and was elevated significantly from two and four times in the liver and gills, respectively, after noise exposure.

  • Angola has a coastline of about 1,650 km long. Two diverging current namely, the Angola current with its warm water from the north and the cold Benguella Current in the south create a strong up-welling with a high productive ecosystem for marine resources. The area from Lobito to the mouth of the Cunene River, also known as the Southern fishing zone is by far the most productive of Angola's fishing zones. In 1977, the total potential of its marine fisheries sector was estimated at more than 700,000 tonnes per annum. In 2003, the Total Allowable Catch (TAC) established for demersal species was 57,600 tonnes and 160,000 tonnes for pelagic species. The most important resources are various marine demersal and pelagic fish including pilchard and the Cape and Cunene horse Mackerel (Tranchurus capensis and T. trecae). Sardinellas (Sardinella aurita and S. maderensis) are fished in parallel with horse mackerel. The rest of the catches are mainly demersal spp. and some deep water crustaceans. The demersal sppecies consist of Hake (Merluccius polli and M. capensis) and the large eye dentex spp. Tunas are caught at certain times of the year whilst some marine shrimp are also harvested from the Angolan waters. Angola also has several high value freshwater fish species, exploited by about 255 fishers. Tilapia sp. is among the most important and abundant fresh water fish found in Angola. Other species include the catfish (Clarias gariepinus) and fresh water prawns (Macrobrachuin rosenbergii). Some aquaculture ponds have been established in the country side, but due to lack of investment, proper training and the impact of civil war have seriously limited developments in the sub sector.

넙치도 범가자미 교잡종의 성장과 성현상 (Growth and Sexual Phenomena of the Hybrid between Olive Flounder and Spotted Flounder)

  • 범가자미 수컷과 넙치 암컷 교잡종의 초기발생, 성장 그리고 성현상이 조사되었다. 범가자미와 넙치의 교잡종은 국명으로 범넙치, 영명으로 mottled flounder로 명명하였다. 범넙치의 수정율, 부화율, 초기 성장률은 각각 56.9-72.3%, 86.7-92.5%, 그리고 89.1-96.0% 범위였다. 성장은 부화후 50일에 전장 2.1$\pm0.2cm$,체중$0.10\pm0.02g$ 이었고, 부화 후 240일에 전장22.9$\pm2.1cm$ 체중 179.0$\pm38.5g$ 이었다. 범넙치의 눈이 몸의 왼쪽에 위치하는 형 77.7%와 오른쪽에 위치하는 형 22.3%로 흔재하고 있었다. 부화후 80일에 생식소는 강(cavity)을 형성하는 난소형과 강을 갖지 않는 정소형으로 분화되었고, 이들의 출현 비율은 1 : 1 이었다(P>0.05). 범넙치의 생식소는 대부분 생식세포를 갖지 않는 불임상태였다. 생식소내에 난모세포를 갖는 개체는 조사 개체중 3.6%였다. 성전환 유도를 위하여 부화후 40일부터 100일까지 60일간 $17\alpha-methyltestosterone(MT)$$estradiol-17\beta$$(E_{2})$을 0.5 mg/kg fish 농도로 경구투여 하였다. MT 처리구는 정소형이 81.9% 유도되었고, $E_{2}$ 처리구는 난소형이 87.7% 유도되었다.

비기계적으로 동작하는 팬/틸트 카메라 시스템 (Non-mechanical Pan/Tilt Camera System)

  • 일반적으로 카메라는 좁은 시각 영역(field of view)를 가짐으로 인해, 넓은 영역의 뷰를 얻기 위해서는 모터를 이용하여 카메라를 팬/틸트시키는 것이 일반적이다. 하지만, 이들은 아직까지 기계적으로 카메라를 직접 움직여 원하는 영역의 영상을 보여주기 때문에, 내구성이 떨어지며 생산 원가도 많이 든다. 또한 움직임으로 인한 모션 블러 현상도 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 한번에 보은 지역을 촬영할 수 있고, 비기계적으로 팬/틸트가 가능한 카메라 시스템을 개발하고자 한다. 한번의 촬영으로 널은 영역을 얻기 위해, 어안렌즈를 CCD 센서와 항께 사용한다. 또한, 어안렌즈(fish-eye lens)를 통해 얻은 왜곡된 영상을 와핑 기술을 이용해 편 다음, 원하는 부분의 영상을 보여준다. 본 논문은 TI사의 TMS320DSC25 프로세서로 구현하였으며, 어안 렌즈 캘리브레이션 및 실시간 왜곡 보정, 영상 출력을 위한 방법을 소개한다.

First Record of a Gaper Champsodon longipinnis (Perciformes: Champsodontidae) from Korea

  • This is the first report of Champsodon longipinnis (Champsodontidae) collected from Korea. The specimen (100.9 mm in standard length) was caught by a bottom trawl in the coastal waters off Busan, Korea. This species is characterized by the following morphological traits: body with small denticulate scales except abdomen around pelvic fin base; posterior end of maxilla extending beyond margin of eye; dark pigmentation on most of the first dorsal fin, upper half of the first to the fourth soft ray of the second dorsal fin, and partial upper lobe of caudal fin. We add C. longipinnis to the Korean fish fauna and suggest a new Korean name, "Jeom-ak-eo-chi," for the species.

어안렌즈 왜곡보정에 관한 연구 (The Technical Development for the Fish-Eye Lens Distortion Correction)

  • 본 논문에서는 어안렌즈 및 왜곡경향을 조사하고, 기존 보정기법을 토대로 어안렌즈에 적합한 사진측량학적 기법을 이용한 보정기법을 채용하였다. 이를 이용하여 어안렌즈를 보정하여 왜곡계수를 산출하여, 관측한 영상점을 왜곡이 보정된 영상점으로 위치 보정하는 기술을 개발하였다. 본 논문에서 적용된 보정 기술은 컴퓨터비젼분야, 제어계측분야에서 광범위하게 사용되고 있는 어안렌즈의 왜곡보정을 실시하여 영상을 보정하는데 목적이 있다. 이렇게 보정된 어안렌즈 영상은 실내 위치추적 및 모니터링 분야에 사용되고 있는 어안렌즈영상에 정확도 향상에 기여할 수 있으리라 예상된다. 또 본 논문에서는 렌즈 보정기술의 효율성을 높이기 위해서 단영상 왜곡보정 프로그램 및 다수 영상 왜곡 보정 프로그램을 구현하였다. 단영상 프로그램은 로봇의 대략 생산체제를 위해 구현하였으며, 다수영상 프로그램은 사용자 입장에서 구현하였다.

고주파 표면경화에 의한 피로강도 특성과 예측에 관한 연구

  • Induction surface hardening is widely used to enhance local strength and hardness. However, most research is only to have a focus on fatigue life and fatigue behavior is not so much studied. So, in this study, Cr-Mo steel alloy(SCM440) was used to show the effect of residual stress and micro hole on the fatigue strength fur base metal and induction surface hardened specimen. In addition, the fatigue characteristic between surface hardened and fully hardened steel is somewhat different. It is caused by hardness distribution, residual stress and inclusions etc.. The modification of prediction equation of fatigue strength is proposed and predicted results show very good accuracy. A $textsc{k}$, which is calculated 1.46, is introduced to consider the effect of stationary crack with defect. A new method of modifying residual stress is proposed to examine the mean stress effect under fatigue loading.

First Record of the Eyeshade Sculpin Nautichthys pribilovius (Hemitripteridae: Pisces) from the East Sea, Korea

  • A new record of the eyeshade sculpin Nautichthys pribilovius is described on the basis of a single specimen collected from the East Sea, Korea. The species has 23 second dorsal fin rays, rounded spines on the occiput, a black band through the eye and across the cheek, branched caudal fin rays and a branchiostegal membrane attached to the isthmus. The new Korean name "Gum-eun-tti-nun-hoet-dae-sok" is proposed for the genus Nautichthys, and "Gum-eun-tti-nun-hoet-dae" is proposed for the species N. pribilovius.
