Data released by the National Fire Agency showed that the total incidence of fires from 2014 to 2023 was 410,497, among which 75,215 were house fires, constituting 18% of the total occurrences. The fatalities resulting from house fires numbered 1,435. Fatalities stemming from prior house fires occurred between midnight and 6 am, coinciding with periods of sleep and diminished responsiveness to fire emergencies. A fire safety labeling system is proposed to prevent fire hazards associated with household products. This system primarily entails indicators of thermal energy and inherent fire attributed to household products. Furthermore, the Korea Fire Safety Institute has suggested adopting a risk label as a concrete measure plan for implementing the fire safety labeling system for household products. The results promise to safeguard the public against fires and increase the exports of household commodities by enhancing the corporate reputation through positive association with fire safety measures.

In this study, it was analyzed by a numerical analysis that plan/design considerations for ensuring the spectator safety of large arena audiences in a fire emergency evacuation plan. The latest issue, the 'performance-based design', fire and evacuation plan is important. But nowadays 'Specification-based design' is in common. In evacuation simulation, congestion of exit and aisle is ignored because only evacuation time of large-space is mainly analyzed. In smoke flow,'smoke filling effect' tends to be overrated. From now on, when design a field house, it is needed not 'smoke filling effect' and 'large-space evacuation' analysis, but analyzing 'whole building evacuation time' for ensuring fire evacuation safety of spectator.

The aim of this study is to identify ways to improve fire safety management of elementary and junior high schools, which can prevent potentially dangerous situations and establish a rapid response system for fire-related emergencies by analyzing existing fire safety management public institutions. We investigated the expertise, prevention ability, preparation ability, and operation form of fire safety managers working in elementary and secondary schools in Kangwon Province. A questionnaire composed of 26 items was completed by 238 fire safety managers. Results shows that the perception of fire safety management is considerably high, while the ability of the fire safety manager to prepare for and cope with an accident still needs improvement.

Taegu subway fire accident happened on 18th February this year, which was recorded as the 2nd biggest subway accident in the world. The accident was inspected and reviewed by Task Force Team of MOCT and KRRI, which results in the integrated safety plan for subway system. Among the safety plan. this report describes the analysis of the accident causes and safety plan in the field of rolling stock.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of apartment residents' safety education satisfaction and the application of fire protection plans on fire safety awareness. The analysis results are as follows. First, the low levels of satisfaction with safety education content had a negative effect on anxiety about fire safety. This means that apartment residents' low levels of interest or participation in education affected their safety awareness, which prevented them from securing safety from fire. It is necessary for control staff to have a positive impact on their educational satisfaction via the learning support information system, among others, in order to create a satisfying education and safety culture. Second, competence in the execution of firefighting plans had a positive effect on fire safety awareness. These results indicate that apartment residents do not have the opportunity to access the education and training necessary for safety, nor the legal responsibility to complete mandatory safety education, which leads to their lack of safety awareness. Therefore, the control staff need to raise awareness of fire safety and the importance of participating in safety education among apartment residents by strengthening and activating the execution of firefighting plans in order to ensure safe living. Third, the competency of the firefighting plans moderated the effects of apartment residents' educational satisfaction on their awareness of fire safety.

The fire safety of social welfare facilities increasing at high speed with coming-up of an aging society have been on the rise as a very important social problems. This research paper has analyzed the fire safety laws and standards about the social welfare facilities as a lesson elderly nursing home's fire that occurred in recent years. This research worker have conducted the questionnaire survey including research of the true actual through the fire protection engineers, the professors, the fire facilities managers and the users. This study has proposed the installing of suitable fire protection systems through the law revision, normal maintenance of the facilities, the safety management plan through evaluation about fire protective management and related facilities by the methods of the fire safety management.

This study is carried out for the fire safety of the factory building, the fire risk reduction measure in compliance with an example approached in fire risk reduction systematically, contribute to reduce the fire risk. The analytical fire risk process of discovering, identifying, estimating and evaluating risk and control measure as risk reduction measures are core concept, applies loss prevention with loss control techniques. Static electricity measure accomplished the risk control process thoroughly as the fire risk reduction process model with the ignition sources measure which is presented. Fire risk from within organizing will be able to classify with each field by detailedly but risk treatment process will be able to apply basically all the same concept. Consequently about risk management example from before, this study is proposed risk management techniques that standardized rightly in the actual condition of organization with one plan, with discovery of fire risk, the feedback process in compliance with a fire risk reduction and the review which control the result is joint responsibility of engineer, technical expert and manager as part of safety management to practice with the fact must be supervised.
