Because an ecological community consists of diverse species that vary nonlinearly with environmental variability, its dynamics are complex and difficult to analyze. To investigate temporal variations of benthic macroinvertebrate community, we used the community data that were collected at the sampling site in Baenae Stream near Busan, Korea, which is a clean stream with minimum pollution, from July 2006 to July 2013. First, we used a self-organizing map (SOM) to heuristically derive the states that characterizes the biotic condition of the benthic macroinvertebrate communities in forms of time series data. Next, we applied the hidden Markov model (HMM) to fine-tune the states objectively and to obtain the transition probabilities between the states and the emission probabilities that show the connection of the states with observable events such as the number of species, the diversity measured by Shannon entropy, and the biological water quality index (BMWP). While the number of species apparently addressed the state of the community, the diversity reflected the state changes after the HMM training along with seasonal variations in cyclic manners. The BMWP showed clear characterization of events that correspond to the different states based on the emission probabilities. The environmental factors such as temperature and precipitation also indicated the seasonal and cyclic changes according to the HMM. Though the usage of the HMM alone can guarantee the convergence of the training or the precision of the derived states based on field data in this study, the derivation of the states by the SOM that followed the fine-tuning by the HMM well elucidated the states of the community and could serve as an alternative reference system to reveal the ecological structures in stream communities.

As a traditional method to apply fingerprint powder, brush method ("dusting") can create a risk to the health of crime scene investigators due to the inhalation toxicity of harmful and fine powders. Therefore, as a new method of applying powders, we tried to evaluate the potential of a chamber method for the development of latent fingerprint using fans in a closed chamber with a fixed capacity that can prevent the powders from being blown outside and exposed to the users, by comparing with the development results of the conventional brush method. Fingerprints on glass and plastic (PET) were extracted with black powder and green fluorescent powder, and the sharpness and minutiae of the developed fingerprints were compared for each method. The results of the black powder showed similar results, but the effect of the chamber method was slightly decreased when the green fluorescent powder was used. In order to improve the development with the green fluorescent powder, the mixture (50 : 50) of the fluorescent powder with the silica gel was tested and the results were similar to those of the brush method. It is expected that the chamber method has a high potential as a new powder application method considering the health of the crime scene investigator after fine tuning of development conditions with additional studies.
Spray pyrolysis was applied to prepare $M_{3}MgSi_{2}O_{8}:Eu^{2+}$ (M=Ca, Sr, Ba) blue phosphor powder. The library of a Ca-Sr-Ba ternary system was obtained by a combinatorial method combined with the spray pyrolysis in order to optimize the luminescent property under vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) excitation. 10 potential compositions were chosen from the first screening. The emission shifted to longer wavelength as Ca became a dominant element and the emission intensity was greatly reduced in the composition region at which Ba is dominant element. On the base of the first screening result, the second fine tuning was carried out in order to optimize the luminescence intensity under VUV excitation. The optimal composition for the highest luminescence intensity was $(Ca_{1.7},\;Sr_{0.3},\;Ba_{1.0})Si_{2}O_{8}:Eu^{2+}$ which had the color coordinate of (0.152, 0.072) and about 64% emission intensity of $BaMgAl_{10}O_{17}$ (BAM) phosphor.

Recently technologies have created new principle and theory but the PID control system remains its popularity as the PID controller contains simple structure, including maintenance and parameter adjustment being so simple. The adjust parameter of PID to achieve best response of process which be using time and may be error if user are not expert. Nowadays this problem was solved by develop PID controller which can analysis and auto tune parameter are appropriate with process which used principle of Ziegler ? Nichols but it are expensive and designed for each task. Thus, this paper proposes auto tune PID based on FPGA by use principle of Dahlin which maximum overshoot not over 5 percentages and do not fine tuning again. It have performance in control process are neighboring controller in industrial and simple to use. Especially, It can use various process and low price. The auto tune digital PID processor embedded on chip FPGA XC2S50-5tq-144. The digital PID processor was designed by fundamental PID equation which architectures including multiplier, adder, subtracter and some other logic gate. It was verified by control model of temperature control system.
RBFN has some problem that because the basis function isn't orthogonal to each others the number of used basis function goes to big. In this reason, the Wavelet Neural Network which uses the orthogonal basis function in the hidden node appears. In this paper, we propose the composition method of the actual function in hidden layer with the scaling function which can represent the region by which the several wavelet can be represented. In this method, we can decrease the size of the network with the pure several wavelet function. In addition to, when we determine the parameters of the scaling function we can process rough approximation and then the network becomes more stable. The other wavelets can be determined by the global solutions which is suitable for the suggested problem using the genetic algorithm and also, we use the back-propagation algorithm in the learning of the weights. In this step, we approximate the target function with fine tuning level. The complex neural network suggested In this paper is a new structure and important simultaneously in the point of handling the determination problem in the wavelet initialization.

A new approach, referred to as a successive zooming genetic algorithm (SZGA), is Proposed for identifying a global solution for continuous optimization problems. In order to improve the local fine-tuning capability of GA, we introduced a new method whereby the search space is zoomed around the design point with the best fitness per 100 generation. Furthermore, the reliability of the optimized solution is determined based on the theory of probability. To demonstrate the superiority of the proposed algorithm, a simple genetic algorithm, micro genetic algorithm, and the proposed algorithm were tested as regards for the minimization of a multiminima function as well as simple functions. The results confirmed that the proposed SZGA significantly improved the ability of the algorithm to identify a precise global minimum. As an example of structural optimization, the SZGA was applied to the optimal location of support points for weight minimization in the radial gate of a dam structure. The proposed algorithm identified a more exact optimum value than the standard genetic algorithms.
In this paper, a 12-bit high resolution, power and area efficiency hybrid digital pulse width modulator (DPWM) with process and temperature (PT) calibration has been proposed for digital controlled DC-DC converters. The hybrid structure of DPWM combines a 6-bit differential tapped delay line ring-mux digital-to-time converter (DTC) schema and a 6-bit counter-comparator DTC schema, resulting in a power and area saving solution. Furthermore, since the 6-bit differential delay line ring oscillator serves as the clock to the high 6-bit counter-comparator DTC, a high frequency clock is eliminated, and the power is significantly saved. In order to have a simple delay cell and flexible delay time controllability, a voltage controlled inverter is adopted to build the deferential delay cell, which allows fine-tuning of the delay time. The PT calibration circuit is composed of process and temperature monitors, two 2-bit flash ADCs and a lookup table. The monitor circuits sense the PT (Process and Temperature) variations, and the flash ADC converts the data into a digital code. The complete circuits design has been verified under different corners of CMOS 0.18um process technology node.
Current interest in the regioselective N-functionalization of tetraazacycloalkanes (cyclen and cyclam) stems mainly from their complexes with radioactive metals for applications in diagnostic ($^{64}Cu,\;^{111}In,\;^{67}Ga$) and therapeutic ($^{90}Y$) medicine, and with paramagnetic ions for magnetic resonance imaging ($Gd^{+3}$). Selective methods for the N-substitution of cyclen and cyclam is a crucial step in most syntheses of cyclen and cyclam-based radiometal complexes and bifunctional chelating agents. In addition, mixing different pendent groups to give hetero-substituted cyclen derivatives would be advantageous in many applications for fine-tuning the compound's physical properties. So far, numerous approaches for the regioselective N-substitution of tetraazacycloalkanes and more specifically cyclen and cyclam are reported. Unfortunately, none of them are general and every strategy has its own strong points and drawbacks. Herein, we categorize numerous regioselective N-alkylation methods into three strategies, such as 1) direct substitution of the macrocycle, 2) introductiou of the functional groups prior to cyclization, and 3) protection/iunclionallrationideproteclion. Our discussion is also split into the methods of mono- and tri-functionalization and di-functionalizataion based on number of substituents. At the end, we describe new trials for the new macrocycles which iorm more stable metal complexes with various radiometals, and briefly mention the commercially available tetraazacycloalkanes which are used for the biconjugation of biomolecules.
With a rapid development in the area of micro and ultra precision technology, the micro surface machining of small size parts are explosively increased. Especially, to improve efficiency of various beams in lens and reflector, non-rotational symmetric form and several mm level heights changeable surface can be machined at a time. These geometric complex 3D surface cannot be machined by general short stroke FTS. The long stroke FTS if firmly needed to move directly several mm and have nm level positioning accuracy for the complex surface form. The long stroke FTS used linear motors to drive moving unit long and fine, aero static bearings to decrease friction and moving errors in guide way, optical linear scale with nm level resolution to measure position of FTS. Furthermore, to increase the performance of acceleration of FTS, the light material, such as AL is used for the structure and the high stiffness box type structure is selected. In this paper, the genetic algorithm approach is described to determine a set of design parameters for auto tuning. The authors have attempted to model the design problem with the objective of minimizing the error, such as variable pattern change. This method can give the better alternative than existing other method.
