분말 흡착제를 이용한 악취 저감 여과 집진장치 개발연구 (Odor Removal with Powdered Adsorbent using Bag-filter System)

  • Objectives: In order to improve the working environment and solve the complaints, many efforts have been made to remove the odor from the industrial process. There are many disposal methods to remove odor, but there are many disadvantages and inadequate applications. The Purpose of this study was to develop a bag-filer system for odor removal using powder adsorbent. Methods: The bag-filter system is composed of a shear bag filter, an absorbent spraying system and an absorbent circulation system. The spraying absorbent system was connected with the inlet duct of the shear bag filter for inputting adsorbent. And the absorbent circulation system can transport the collecting adsorbent from hoper to the inlet duct of the system. As a result, the adsorbent can remove odor with recycling in the system. Also affective factors like the powdered absorbent combination and injection method was researched for maximization of system efficiency. The study was conducted in two stages. The first step was testing equipment made and the second is to evaluate the efficiency of the odor control by connecting to the actual odor generation process. Results: Both experiment stages showed efficient odor control ability. The adsorption efficiency of the system is demonstrated and the odor was adsorbed well by the powder adsorbent. It is essential to accurately understand the characteristics of the odorous and use the appropriate adsorbent. Although the powder adsorbent was used in the experiment, the problem of scattering did not occur due to the high degree of system sealing. Also the system manufactured in this study was designed to recycle the adsorbent, so adsorbent reuse or batch processing is convenient. Conclusions: The applicability of the system has been proven through this research. Customized systems for industrial process and the appropriate adsorbent base on the characteristics of pollutant generation will show efficient odor collection ability.

방전극 형상 및 여과재에 따른 정전 여과집진장치특성에 관한 연구 (Investigation of Characteristics of Electrostatic Bag Filter with Discharge Electrode Shapes and Filter Properties)

  • In this study, the characteristics of electrostatic bag filter to overcome the main problems such as the high pressure drop and low collection efficiency for submicron particles are investigated with the experimental parameters. Especially, the experiment is carried out focusing on collection efficiency and pressure drop change mechanism as a function of discharge electrode shapes and filter properties, including the applied voltages, filtration velocities and particle concentrations, etc . Results show that the collection efficiency is improved over 30% for the fine particle below 1 pm and pressure drop reduction ratio (PDRR) increases in the following order 4 mm screwy > 4 mm square > 4mm round discharge electrodes . For the filter properties, Nomex is more effective than PE under the influence of electrostatic force. Applying 30 kV for a screwy discharge electrode, higher overall collection efficiency is maintained in spite of the increment of filtration velocity over four times (8 m/min) in comparison with that of 2 m/min and PDRR are highly shown over 80o1o with various filtration velocities, 5, 8, 11 m/min.

FRP제품 가공시 발생하는 분진 및 악취 제거 시스템 개발 (System Development of Removing Dust and Odor from Manufacturing Process of FRP Products)

  • 본 연구에서는 fiber reinforced plastics (FRP) 제품 가공시 발생하는 분진 및 악취 물질로 인한 작업현장의 악조건을 개선하기 위하여 activated carbon fiber (ACF) 장착 하이브리드 백필터를 개발하였다. FRP 제조업체 2개사에 ACF 백필터를 설치함에 있어 천장, 벽하단 부분에 덕트를 설치함은 물론 이동식 집진 덕트를 설치함으로써 집진효율을 높였다. 펄스젯트식 탈진방식을 채택하여 효과적인 시스템 운영을 유도함으로써 작업환경을 개선하고자 하였다. 하이브리드 백필터 시스템 운용시 이에 따르는 분진과 악취에 대한 제거동향을 고찰하였다.

의료폐기물 소각가스 처리에 관한 연구 (Treatment Study on the Combustion Gas of Medical Waste)

  • Currently, medical waste stoker incinerator is widely used in the emission control technology of health-care risk waste and miscellaneous contaminated waste. In the past, wet type control technology was used to remove the major harmful gaseous contaminants of medical waste such as HCl, $NO_x,\;SO_2$, CO, DUST, Dioxin. However, the treatment cost for wastewater was high and it has a disadvantage for frozen system during winter season. Therefore, in order to obtain effective treatment, the dry type control technology was developed and widely used to remove the gaseous contaminants. In this study, pre-coated bag filter using hydrated lime, ($Ca(OH)_2$), was applied to the dry type control system and the optimum dose of hydrated lime was investigated. The treatment results showed that the dust collection rate was approximately 26.7%. Moreover, the HCl removal rate using pre-coated bag filter ($50mg/sm^3\;Ca(OH)_2$) was 13.52%, which was significantly higher than 3.26% obtained from conventional bag filter.

중탄산나트륨 건식공정에서 반응제 혼합 장치 및 백필터 분배장치에 의한 산성가스 제거 영향 (Removal Effect of Acid Gases by Reactant Mixer and Distributor of Bag Filter in Dry Scrubbing with NaHCO3)

  • Sodium bicarbonate ($NaHCO_3$) was used as a reactant for the removal of acid gases from a waste incinerator. The removal efficiencies of HCl and $SO_x$ were tested with a reactant mixing apparatus and a distributor installed at the bag filter inlet. It was shown that the stoichiometric ratio of $NaHCO_3$ to the acid gases which allows a removal of over 90% for both HCl and $SO_2$ was about 1.2. When a reactant mixing apparatus was installed on the duct, the removal efficiencies of HCl and $SO_2$ at the end of the duct were increased by approximately 1.5 and 3 times respectively, compared to when the apparatus was not installed. At the end of the bag filter, the removal efficiencies of the both were as high as 98% with a stoichiometric ratio of 1.35. Installing a reactant mixing apparatus on the duct and a distributor at the entrance of the bag filter and using $NaHCO_3$ as a reactant helped overcome the problem of low removal efficiencies of acid gases by dry scrubbing.

  • 본 연구에서는 SBFC의 기본 성능을 분석하고, 페이스트 및 모르터에서의 공학적 특성을 검토하여, 향후 경제적인 조강콘크리트 개발을 위한 방안으로 활용하고자 하였다. 실험결과 SBFC의 우수한 조기강도 발현 성능을 확인 할 수 있었고, 유동성을 고려했을 때 OPC와 SBFC와의 적정 혼입율을 도출하여 사용하는 것이 바람직 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • This paper takes aim at the reliability evaluation by application of Fault Tree Analysis and its computerization. FTA is one of the methods for evaluation of system reliability and safety analysis. The important characteristic of this paper is that computer program is written in the package program(dBaseIII+) by 16Bit/AT personal computer. The program consists of three program segments. (1) The minimal cut sets of the system fault tree are obtained by means of "Fault tree reduction algorithm" (2) The minimal path sets are obtained by inversion of the minimal cut sets determined from fault tree (3) The importance of the basic events which are presented in the minimal cut sets is obtained by means of structural importance analysis. In this paper, a Fault Tree Analysis is applied to a BAG FILTER which is a kind of dust collector.collector.

집진기의 공기소모량과 백 필터내의 압력전파에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Investigation on Air Consumption and Pressure Wave Propagation inside A Filter Bag of A Dust Collector)

  • 이 연구는 필터 백을 사용하는 집진기에서 펄스밸브에 부착된 솔레노이드 밸브의 통전 시간과 공기소모량 사이의 관계를 실험적으로 규명하였으며 이 때 필터 백에 작용하는 압력파의 전달과정을 고찰하였다. 펄스당 공기소 모량이 집진기 운전비용의 주요 요소이므로 펄스제트의 전파과정을 관찰하고 압력파형과 공기소모량을 측정하였다. 또 주어진 조건하에서 필터 백의 길이의 영향을 고찰하고 효율적인 탈진작용을 할 수 있는 통전시간과 충격량 사이의 관계를 규명하였다 주어진 실험조건 범위에서는 통전시간이 짧을수록 더 큰 충격량을 얻을 수 있으며 동일한 통전 시간에 대하여는 여러 번의 짧은 펄스를 발생시키는 것이 더 효율적인 것으로 나타났다.

사료 부원료 하역과정에서 발생하는 비산먼지의 여과특성 (Filtration Characteristics of the Fugitive Dust Emitting from Animal Feedstuff Handling)

  • Animal feedstuff handling is one of the major fugitive dust sources in the port of Incheon. For the effective control of fugitive dusts emitting from the port of Incheon, dust control facilities with bag filter systems should be designed properly considering the characteristic of the fugitive dusts including those from animal feedstuffs. The ultimate goal of this study is thus to develop the optimum fugitive dust control system which will be applicable for the renovation of the port. As the first step to achieve this longstanding goal, filtration characteristics of soybean shell, the largest dust sources in the port, were investigated with the specially designed filter testing apparatus for this study. The variables tested for the experiments included filter materials, dust concentrations, relative humidities, and filtration velocities. Also, the filtration characteristics of the other animal feedstuffs such as sunflower seed shell, tapioca, and palm shell were investigated to determine $K_2$ as a function of filtration velocity. The information on $K_2$ will be used to design the optimum bag filter systems for animal feedstuffs handling in the port.

  • 지난 수십년간 부직포 산업에 대한 관심이 증대되고 있고, 정부차원에서 환경문제에 관심이 고조되면서 부직포를 이용한 FILTER의 수요는 꾸준히늘고 있다. 특히 대구의 페놀사건 및 리우회담 개최 등으로 환경문제에 전국민이 적극적으로 대응하고 관심의 영역이 급속히 넓어짐으로 인하여 공해방지용 각종 FILTER와 집진기용 FILTER의 수용가 상당히 증가되고 있는 실정이다. 또한 리우회담을 계기로 정부의 공해방지 및 환경에 대한 규제도 대폭 강화되었다. 이에 따라 기존의 직물을 소재로 한 여과매체보다 형태의 안정성, 다양성, FILTERING 효과에서 앞서고 있는 부직포의 여과매체에 대한 관심이 점차 높아지고 있는 실정이다. 따라서 아질 개발하지 못한 부직포를 이용한 FILTER의 개발이 시급하고, 미개척 분야에서의 부직포 사용을 위한 연구가 꾸준히 이루어져야 하겠다. 그리고 환경규제가 강화됨에 따른 고서능 여과포의 개발 또한 시급한 실정이다. 본 장에서는 부직포를 이용한 여과매체, 즌 BAG FILTER의 제조 및 선정 등에 대하여 간략하게 소개하고 추후 부직포 산업의 활성화에 미약하나마 보탬이 되길 바란다.
