This paper presents an acoustic source localization technique on 2D cavity model in flow using a phased microphone array. Investigation was performed on cavity flows of open and closed types. The source distributions on 2D cavity flow were investigated in an anechoic open-jet wind tunnel. The array of microphones was placed outside the flow to measure the far field acoustic signals. The optimum sensor placement was decided by varying the relative location of the microphones to improve the spatial resolution. Pressure transducers were flush-mounted on the cavity surface to measure the near-filed pressures. It is shown that the propagated far field acoustic pressures are closely correlated to the near-field pressures and their spectral contents are affected by the cavity parameter L/D.
In current domestic construction field, several factors influencing the safety for field workers are various due to the size and complexity of construction works involved. Among the factors, the age is the important one, because the average age of workers is getting older due to the 3D phenomena in construction fields. The safety for workers of all ages is important, but especially safety for the old, is more important. Thus, the fundamental techniques for placement of field workers with adequate safety corresponding to complexity and hard works are investigated through analyzing fatigue and heart rate of individual worker, especially for the old.

In this research, considering the practical conditions at field, thermal cracking reducing method was suggested based on the comparative analysis between predicted value and actual value obtained from the actual structure member with optimum mix design. The optimum mix design was deduced from the various mix designs with various proportions of cementitious binder for upper and lower placement lifts of mat-foundation mass concrete. Therefore, before field applications, the mix designs were obtained from the theoretical analysis obtained by MIDAS GEN for upper lift was OPC to FA of 85 to 15, and for lower lift was OPC to FA to BS of 50 : 20 : 30. Based on this mix design, the actual concrete for field was determined and all concrete properties were reached within the predicted range. Especially, the temperature properties of mass concrete at core was approximately $39^{\circ}C$ of temperature difference for low-heat mix design, while approximately $54^{\circ}C$ was shown for normal mix design currently used. Additionally, in the case of cracking index, the low heat mix design showed about 1.4 of relatively high value while the normal mix design showed 1.0. Therefore, it can be stated that applying low heat mix design and different heating technique between upper and lower placement lifts for mass concrete are efficient to control the thermal cracking.

In previous studies, the digital measurement systems and analysis algorithms were developed by using the related techniques, such as the aerial photograph detection and high resolution satellite image process. However, these studies were limited in 2-dimensional geo-processing. Therefore, it is necessary to apply the 3-dimensional spatial information and coordinate system for higher accuracy in recognizing and locating of geo-features. The objective of this study was to develop a stochastic algorithm for the optimal sensor placement using the 3-dimensional spatial analysis method. The 3-dimensional information of the LiDAR was applied in the sensor field algorithm based on 2- and/or 3-dimensional gridded points. This study was conducted with three case studies using the optimal sensor placement algorithms; the first case was based on 2-dimensional space without obstacles(2D-non obstacles), the second case was based on 2-dimensional space with obstacles(2D-obstacles), and lastly, the third case was based on 3-dimensional space with obstacles(3D-obstacles). Finally, this study suggested the methodology for the optimal sensor placement - especially, for ground-settled sensors - using the LiDAR data, and it showed the possibility of algorithm application in the information collection using sensors.
During 1976 the effects of carbofuran placement in the root zone of the rice plants, the varieties Palkweng and Yushin, were evaluated for control of common rice pests in the paddy field at the Honam Crops Experiment Station. The methods of insecticide placement included the use of capsule formulation and liquid injection by the root-zone liquid insecticide injector designed at the International Rice Research Institute. The single ro~t-zone application of carbofuran at 2 days after transplanting was compared with two and fcur broadcast applications of carbofuran and diazinon. Capsules were the most. effective in controlling the striped rice borer (Chilo suppressalis), small brown plant-hopper (Laodelphax striatellus), green rice leafhopper (Nephotettix cincticeps) and stripe virus disease which is transmitted by the small brown planthopper. However, one injector application of carbofuran was equal or better the broadcast applications. Their control effectiveness were more significant on Palkweng susceptible to common rice pests than on Yushin resistant to the stripe virus disease.
Recently, in various business fields, companies are concentrating on providing chatbot services to various environments by adding artificial intelligence to existing messenger platforms. Organizations in the field of job placement also require chatbot services to improve the quality of employment counseling services and to solve the problem of agent management. A text-based general chatbot classifies input user sentences into learned sentences and provides appropriate answers to users. Recently, user sentences inputted to chatbots are inputted as short texts due to the activation of social network services. Therefore, performance improvement of short text classification can contribute to improvement of chatbot service performance. In this paper, we propose T-EBOW (Translation-Extended Bag Of Words), which is a method to add translation information as well as concept information of existing researches in order to strengthen the short text classification for employment chatbot. The performance evaluation results of the T-EBOW applied to the machine learning classification model are superior to those of the conventional method.
Objective: Upper paraaortic lymph node dissection (UPALD) to the infrarenal level is one of the most challenging robotic procedures. Because robotic system has the limitation in robotic arm mobility. This surgical video introduces a novel robotic approach, lower pelvic port placement (LP3), to perform optimally and simultaneously both UPALD and pelvic procedures in gynecologic cancer patients using da Vinci Xi system. Methods: The patient presented with high-grade endometrial cancer. She underwent robotic surgical staging operation. For the setup of the LP3, a line was drown between both anterior superior iliac spines. At 3 cm below this line, another line was drown and four robotic ports were placed on this line. Results: After paraaortic lymph node dissection (PALD) was completed, the boom of robotic system was rotated $180^{\circ}$ to retarget for the pelvic lateral displacement. Robotic ports were placed and docked again. The operation was completed robotically without any complication. Conclusion: The LP3 was feasible for performing simultaneously optimal PALD as well as procedures in pelvic cavity in gynecologic cancer patients. The advantage of LP3 technique is the robotic port placement that affords for multi-quadrant surgery, abdominal and pelvic dissection. The LP3 is facilitated by utilizing advanced technology of Xi system, including the patient clearance function, the rotating boom, and 'port hopping' that allows using every ports for a camera. The LP3 will enable surgeons to extend the surgical indication of robotic surgical system in the gynecologic oncologic field.

To detect and prevent structural damage caused by various loads on marine structures and ships, structural health monitoring procedure is essential. Estimating loads acting on the structures which are measured by sensors that are mounted properly are crucial for structural health monitoring. However, attaching an excessive number of sensors to the structure without consideration can be inefficient due to the high costs involved and the potential for inducing structural instability. In this study, we introduce a method to determine the optimal number of sensors and their optimized locations for strain measurement sensors, allowing for accurate load estimation throughout the structure using model expansion method. To estimate the loads exerted on the entire structure with minimal sensors, we construct a strain-load interpolation matrix using the strain mode shapes of the finite element (FE) model and select the optimal sensor locations by applying D-Optimal Design and the row exchange algorithm. Finally, we estimate the loads exerted on the entire structure using the model expansion method. To validate the proposed method, we compare the results obtained by applying the optimal sensor placement and model expansion method to an FE model subjected to arbitrary loads with the loads exerted on the entire FE model, demonstrating efficiency and accuracy.
Repeated measurement data between two group is often used in the field of medicine study. In this paper, we suggest a method for comparison of the trend between two groups based on repeated measurement data. First, we estimate regression coefficient of linear regression model from each subject and generate samples using the regression coefficient estimated previous. And then, we test the difference between two groups by unpaired t-test, Wilcoxon rank sum test and placement test using generated samples. Monte Carlo Simulation is adapted to examine the power and experimental significance levels of several methods in various combinations.
