  • A stabilizer link connects the stabilizer bar to the lower arm of the suspension. When a vehicle is turning, lateral forces from the tire are transmitted through the stabilizer link into the stabilizer bar. The stabilizer bar will twist, thus adding rigidity to the vehicle body. In this study, the stabilizer link body was manufactured by using composite material with POM-GF25%. Therefore, the strength evaluation of stability link body with composite material carried out from tensile, wear and fatigue test. The tensile strength between the stability link body with composite material and the rod with knurling was the largest of four types of rod. In Analyzing materials property using optical sensing technique of stabilizer link for automobile parts, its has been identified the safety.

  • With a view to resolving environmental problems of hazardous cement, this study seeks to identify the unconfined compressive strength and bending strength of the vegetation block designed herein by utilizing high-strength natural soil stabilizer instead of cement. Soil stabilizer is mainly made of mixture of short fiber extracted from natural fiber and lime, etc. Soil stabilizer reinforces the shearing strength of soil to improve block supportive power and durability while preventing flood and frost damages. For the unconfined compressive strength test, test pieces were prepared by mixing soil stabilizer and weathered soil in different ratios of 6 %, 12 % and 18 %. Experiments were carried out according to curing periods of 5th, 7th, 14th and 28th of the day. For bending strength test, blocks were made in the same mixture ratios as for the unconfined compressive test and tested for each stage. Also, to evaluate for the field applicability, proposed optimum water content considering the characteristics of the soil stabilizer. Permeability test result for the vegetation block, satisfied by the KS F 4419 quality standards.

  • The study was based on a three-stage, non-repetitive factorial experiment in which chemical-rotted kenaf fibers were treated separately with hydrogen peroxide concentrations of $0.5\%,\;1\%\;and\;2\%$, with pH solutions of 7, 9 and 11, and treatment times of 30, 60 and 90 minutes. Under optimal conditions, the study was conducted to determine the strength and elongation of kenaf fibers by the addition of chelators, penetrants and surfactants. The hydrogen peroxide concentration, solution pH and treatment time directly affected the strength of kenaf fibers. The hydrogen peroxide concentration, solution pH affected the elongation of kenaf fibers. It was found, however, that the interaction between pH and treatment time, concentration and treatment time, concentration and treatment time and pH affected the strength of kenaf fibers. Also, It was found that the interaction between pH and concentration, concentration and treatment time, concentration and treatment time and pH affected the elongation of kenaf fibers. Under the hydrogen peroxide conditions of $2\%$ concentration, pH 11 and a treatment time of 60 minutes, there were no effects on the strength and elongation of kenaf fibers with the addition of chelator SP, CA.

  • In this study, we investigated the durability properties of the recycled leather using shaving scrap with antioxidant. Recycled leather sheets were manufactured by mixing shaving scrap and NB latex as a binder. HALS(Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer) and UVA(UV absorbers) were used as antioxidant. Mechanical properties such as hardness, tensile strength, elongation, tear strength and abrasion resistance were measured. Light aging resistance was evaluated using UV lamp and the degree of discoloration of the recycled leather sheets using a gray scale. In addition, to evaluate heat aging and UV aging, the degree of discoloration of the recycled leather sheets over time was measured using colorimeter. Washing fastness was evaluated on the degree of dyeing of recycled leather sheets for six type of multi-fiber woven fabrics (Acetate, Cotton, Nylon-66, Polyester, Acryl, Wool). To determine whether hazardous substances were detected in recycled leather sheets, the contents of arylamine and Cr 6+ were evaluated. As a result, when used in combination with antioxidant, the heat aging and light aging of recycled leather were improved and hazardous substance were not detected.
