Volunteering has important insight for tourism, especially in the context of special events and festivals. In particular, local festival relies heavily upon volunteers because a large number of individuals are often necessary for creating and delivering various services. Therefore, understand the link between motivation and satisfaction will help festival managers to make appropriate decision in the selection and recruitment of volunteers. The purpose of this study is to examine the impact of motivations on individual's volunteer satisfaction. Data were gathered from 183 individuals that volunteered for the 2018 Gokseong Festival and finally 154 samples were used for the empirical analysis. According to the results, motivation factor analysis showed that intrinsic motivation is a main volunteer motivation to participate in the festival. This research concludes with the proposed conceptual framework that discusses the categories of motivational factors and also volunteers' satisfaction. The theoretical and practical implications of these findings are discussed in more detail.

For the success of a festival, effective volunteer management is axiomatic. Given the dramatically increased size and quality of festivals and events in Korea over the past fifteen years, the importance of effective volunteer management has been overlooked among festival organizations in comparison to similar festivals in western countries. This paper provides a description and an assessment of the Hi Seoul Festival 2009 volunteer program based on an seven-step ideal process of an effective festival volunteer program with suggestions for the program development by reviewing organizational documents, and an interview with a staff member of the Hi Seoul Festival organization, and a survey pertinent to festival volunteers' motivation. This study shows college students are more interested in volunteering at festivals in Korea with the primary motivation of developing relationships and gaining work experience. It also suggests that the Hi Seoul Festival organization should fully appreciate the importance of an effective volunteer program and the position and work of a volunteer coordinator.

본 연구는 역사문화축제인 대가야 체험축제의 '05년과 '06년 행사 2년간을 비교 연구하고, 방문객 만족을 향상시킬 방안을 제시하기 위해 행해졌다. 본 연구의 주요결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 축제 방문객들은 '교육적 효과'의 항목에 매우 만족한 것으로 분석되어, 본 축제가 역사 교육형축제로서의 자리매김을 한 것으로 밝혀졌다. 둘째, 축제 체험프로그램 중 가족이 참여하기 좋은 프로그램으로는 딸기수확체험이 1위를 차지하였고, 다음으로 대가야토기체험 등의 순으로 밝혀졌다. 셋째, 암각화체험 프로그램 등 일부 축제 체험프로그램의 유료화를 통한 생산적 축제로의 변화를 시도하였고, 축제의 자생력을 키우는 노력을 기울였다. 넷째, 지역 자원봉사자의 전문화를 통해 안내서비스가 향상되었다. 축제 행사시 지역상권 활성화를 위해서는 대가야와 연계한 주제 반영 형 프로그램의 개발과 지역 상인들의 주제와 부합한 대가야 복식착용 등의 노력이 더욱 필요하다. 향후 연구에서는 방문객 만족의 영향요인과 방문객 만족 및 행동의도간 상관관계 등의 실증적 연구가 필요할 것이다.

본 연구는 안동국제탈춤페스티벌의 거버넌스의 특성을 분석하고 평가하였다. 평가는 사회적 정당성, 신뢰성, 전문성 그리고 투명성의 4가지 요소별로 거버넌스 주체 상호간 교차평가에 초점을 두었다. 안동국제탈춤페스티벌의 핵심적인 성공요인으로는 축제 주체 간의 협력적 파트너십에 기초한 거버넌스를 들 수 있다. 2011년 현재 안동국제탈춤페스티벌의 거버넌스는 '안동축제 관광조직위원회'를 중심으로 축제전문가, 시민사회단체, 지역상공인단체, 자원봉사자 그리고 지방정부 등의 각 주체들이 수평적이고 개방적인 파트너십에 기초한 소위 '민간주도형' 거버넌스를 그 특성으로 들 수 있다. 안동국제탈춤페스티벌의 거버넌스는 투명성을 제외하고는 모든 구성요소에 대하여 긍정적인 것으로 평가되었다. 거버넌스에 대하여 긍정적으로 평가한 경향이 강한 주체는 축제를 주도적으로 기획, 집행 그리고 평가 과정에 참여한 주체이었다. 긍정적으로 평가한 이유는 사회적 정당성의 경우에는 사업에 대한 정당성과 관련 주체의 참여 보장, 신뢰성에 있어서는 주체의 능력과 인지 및 제도적 신뢰이었다. 전문성의 경우는 전문지식, 대안제시 능력 그리고 업무의 지속성이었고, 투명성에 있어서는 원활한 의사소통과 정보 공개 및 공유 보장이었다. 앞으로 거버넌스의 효율성을 제고하기 위해서는 상대적으로 한정적인 역할을 수행하였던 주체의 적극적인 참여와 주체 간 그리고 주체와 일반시민 간의 원활한 의사소통과 정보공유를 보다 강화하기 위한 대안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

People in the end of life and their families suffer in their physical disease and other aspects as a whole person. They need hospice care to palliate their total suffering in physical, emotional, social and also spiritual aspect through professional hospice team. To care their whole personal needs, hospice team must be a multi-discipline team which consists of medical doctors, nurses, social workers, pastors and volunteers. Recently those who die in hospice palliative care unit have trend to increase more than in home year by year. So it is necessary to develop the nursing intervention program to be performed by multi-discipline team approach for in-patient of hospice palliative care unit. The purposes of this study were to develop of wholistic hospice nursing intervention program for inpatient of hospice palliative care unit. The subjects of study were collected from 30 patients those who were over 18 years old and admitted in hospice palliative care unit of S hospital in P city with agreement in hospice palliative care in their terminal disease. The period of data collection was from December 15, 2003 to March 15, 2004. The result were as follows : 1. The result of Wholistic Hospice Nursing Program's development was as follow : A Wholistic Hospice Nursing Program was developed by me in this study is one of the service program for hospice palliative care unit. It was named as ‘Rainbow Program’ to be approached easily by hospice patients. The purposes of it are to improve the quality of life of the terminal patients with their dignity, to help them live in abundant and meaningful in their lives, to care them in peaceful in dying process with understanding them in whole personal, and also to palliate the grief and suffering of the bereaved. It was provided by hospice professionals(nurses, medical doctors, social worker, pastors, art therapists) and volunteers those who were educated in hospice for multi-diciplinary team approach to collaborate with each role play I 20-30 minuters of each through visiting their rooms individually and a place of hospice palliative care unit of S hospital in P city. The subjects of it were the terminal patients those who admitted hospice palliative care unit and their familes. with agreement in hospice palliative care in their terminal disease. The characteristics of it were multi-disciplinary team approach, whole personal care, individual care and total care according to their needs in their condition. The contents of it were pain control, symptom control, counseling patient, counseling family, hair cutting, hair shampooing, bed bath, recreation, taking a walk, event of culture(screen, recital, festival of praises, exhibition and so on), pastoral counseling, ritual service in bed, praying, service in bed, sing a worship praise, listening to the music, sharing remembrance of life, individual visiting music service(sing and praying), meditation Bible, art therapies(dance and drawing), social worker's counselling, confessing and sharing love and thanksgiving. The experimental group subjects participated in Wholistic Hospice Nursing Program which takes 120 minutes per session, total 10 sessions(total 1,200 minutes) altogether. In conclusion, this Wholistic Hospice Nursing Intervention can be used actively for whole personal well-being of the patients in hospice palliative in hospice palliative care unit and also applied in hospice practice as an useful model of multi-disciplinary team approach by hospice professionals.

최근 일본 문화청은 미술관의 지속 가능성과 경제성 강화를 통한 산업증진 등을 위하여 리딩 뮤지엄(선진미술관)으로 대표되는 예술시장 활성화 방안을 발표하였다. 인구감소 시대로 진입함에 따라 인구절벽과 지역사회 공동화 등은 큰 사회적 문제이다. 문화의 향유자와 창조자 모두 급감하여 문화 기반 자체가 붕괴할 위험이 있고, 이러한 상황에서 문화 분야의 지원 예산이 현안에 밀려 우선순위가 낮아지면 현재의 문화 지원의 수준도 유지하기 어려울 것이다. 또한 일본 국민의 자산 수준이 국제적으로 보아도 높은 수준임에도 불구하고 일본의 미술산업 시장은 미국, 중국 등에 비하여 매우 낮은 수준이다. 일본 정부는 이러한 문제점의 해결방안으로 미술품의 유동성을 높여 미술산업 시장을 활성화하겠다는 것이다. 문화청은 일본 내 미술관의 일부를 미술 시장 활성화를 위한 선진미술관으로 지정하여 예산 지원과 학예사 인력을 증원과 체질을 강화한 후 소장 미술품 등의 가치를 평가하여 수장품의 보존 여부를 판단 후 투자유치를 위하여 소장품을 시장에 매각하겠다는 전략이다. 이러한 정책 발표와 함께 일본의 문화계와 비평계가 찬반으로 나뉘어 큰 갈등에 휩싸였고 반대 여론이 높아져 현재 정책 추진이 잠정 유보된 상황이다. 반대 이유로는 보존과 전승이라는 박물관의 고유 목적에 부합하지 않고 상업주의가 예술계를 망칠 수 있다는 것이고 찬성 이유는 일본의 예술사회는 미술관과 박물관 이외에도 비영리단체, 예술제의 운영조직, 지원인력, 자원봉사자 등으로 이루어져 있는데 보조금 편향성이 높다 보니 실질 인건비도 지급하지 못하여 사실상 방치상태라는 것이다. 또한, 사회 변화에 따라 보조금 의존도를 줄여야 예술사회 자체가 살아남을 수 있다는 경각심도 나타나고 있다. 일본과 상황이 크게 다르지 않다 보니 우리나라 역시 미술품 유동성 활성화를 위한 미술품 감정·평가기능 수행하는 국립미술은행의 신설이나 미술품 담보대출, 미술품 신탁 등이 활발히 논의되고 있다. 저출산·고령화로 인한 인구절벽이 현실로 다가오는 상황에서 보조금만으로 현실적 문제를 타개하기 어려우므로 우리 역시 문화에 대한 투자를 확충시켜 문화와 경제가 일원적·연쇄적으로 운용될 수 있게 하는 방안을 찾아야 할 것이다.
