From on the machining center cutting work of 5534, the characteristics such as spindle speed and feed speed fir the third point height, average spacing of roughness peaks, bearing ratio, center line average, ten point height. experiments is roughness for sampling length determine to measuring length of cutting feed speed 200, 400, 600, 800mm/min and spindle speed 800, 1000, 1200, 1400rpm. Third point height is spindle speed with most suitable cutting condition 1000rpm. Third point height is feed speed with most suitable cutting condition 400mm/min. Average spacing of roughness peaks are spindle speed with most suitable cutting condition feed speed increased to average spacing of roughness Peaks are increased. Spindle speed increased to average spacing of roughness peaks are decreased. Bearing ratio is spindle speed with feed speed increased to bearing ratio decreased. Center line average is spindle speed with most suitable cutting condition at 1200rpm feed speed with most suitable cutting condition at 200mm/min to cutting foe roughness suddenly decreased. Ten point height is spindle speed with most suitable cutting condition 1200rpm at ten point height cutting face roughness to decreased and feed speed with most suitable cutting condition 800mm/min at ten point height cutting face roughness to decreased.
The purpose of this experiment was to study the feeding behavior and running speed under various feed deprivation lengths and social environments. Three trials were conducted. Trial 1: ten pigs were trained individually to run a course and eat their feed at the end of the course. The pigs were deprived feed for 1, 5, 10 or 20 h. Trial 2: 1. Two pigs ran and ate together. Both pigs had 5 h of feed deprivation before the run (D5). 2. Two pigs ran and ate alone, but both pigs had 5 h of feed deprivation before the run (S5). 3. Two pigs ran and ate together. Both had 1 h of feed deprivation before the run (D1). 4. Two pigs ran and ate alone and both pigs had 1 h of feed deprivation before the run (S1). 5. Two pigs ran together, one had 5 h of feed deprivation, and the other had 1 h of feed deprivation before the run (51). Trial 3: 1. On the 1st day 5 pairs of pigs had 5 h feed deprivation and could eat feed together at (B) point (D1). 2. On the 2nd day the pigs ran and ate alone at (B) point after 5 h of feed deprivation. Feed was obtainable (D2). On the 3rd to 6th days, the pigs ran in pairs after 5 h of feed deprivation and only the dominant pig ate feed at point (B). The inferior pig was chased back to room and fed there. This stage was continued for four consecutive days, d 3 to 6. In trial 1, the running speed of pigs increased with the length of feed deprivation until 10 h, then being stable afterwards. Total feeding time increased with the length of feed deprivation (p<0.001). Eating speed did not increase with the length of feed deprivation (p>0.05). In trial 2, nine of ten pigs in treatment D5 ran faster than those in S5. Seven of the ten pigs in treatment S1 ran faster than those in treatment D1. The pigs in treatment D5 had significantly higher feed intake (p<0.001) and eating speed (p<0.05) than the pigs in other treatments. In trial 3, there were significant differences on running speed between D1 and D6 (p<0.01) and between D2 and D1, D3, D4 and D5. The inferior pig ran faster in D2 but from 3 to 6 it was the dominant pig that showed the greatest speed in completing the whole course. The results demonstrated that the pigs with low feeding motivation may cause low running speed to feed and low feed intake of the neighbor when compared with pigs kept individually.
This paper proposes an analytical model of off-line feed rate scheduling to obtain an optimum feed rate for high speed machining. Off-line feed rate scheduling is presented as an advanced technology to regulate cutting forces through change of feed per tooth, which directly affects variation of uncut chip thickness. In this paper, the feed rate scheduling model was developed using a mechanistic cutting force model using cutting-condition-independent coefficients. First, it was verified that cutting force coefficients are not changed with respect to cutting speed. Thus, the feed rate scheduling model using the cutting-condition-independent coefficients can be applied to set the proper feed rates for high speed machining as well as normal machining. Experimental results show that the developed fred rate scheduling model makes it possible to maintain the cutting force at a desired level during high speed machining.
In order to maintain a constant speed ratio between the tractor and attached seed planter, a feedback control unit to rotate the feed shaft of the planter in proportional to the ground speed of the tractor was designed. The fifth wheel was used as a ground speed sensor for the unit. Using this control unit a feed shaft driving system was developed and tested to estimate its performance both in laboratory and fields. The test results showed that the system rotates the feed shaft proportionally to the ground speed in the range of the normal planting speed of 0.5-0.8m/s with errors less than 5%.
This study was undertaken to develop the feed rate control system for the head feed thresher by making use of the microprocessor and to evaluate the response of the system to a various threshing conditions. The control unit was composed of one-board microcomputer. The speed of the wet-paddy feeding chain was controlled by dc moter with PI controller. It was used the adaptive control method to maintain the constant feed rate regardless of the fed rice varieties. The sliding type potentiometer was used as the feed rate sensor, which was attached on the sheaf-holding apparatus. The mathematical models of the system components were derived and computer simulation was developed for investigating the parameters affecting on control performance and for estimating the response of the system. A one-board microcomputer-based feed rate control system developed in this study was properly functioned and assessed as adequate for the feed rate control system of the head feed thresher. Based on the simulation for the bundle feed, it was anticipated that the lower setting value of the cylinder speed(RL) is to be set higher than the limiting operational speed. In addition, the higher setting value of the cylinder speed(RH) is to be set lower than the limiting cylinder speed for threshing. The computer simulation for the continuous spread feed showed that the lower the setting value of straw layer thickness(LL) was set, the shorter the correction time. However, if too low LL may be established, the feed rate could not reach to its desired rate.

In order to maintain a constant ratio between the ground wheel and fed shaft of planters, a feedback control unit was designed to drive the feed shaft in proportional to the ground speed. The fifth wheel was used as a ground speed sensor for the control unit. Using this control unit a feed shaft driving system was developed and tested both in the laboratory and field to evaluate it performance . The test results showed that the system drove the feed shaft in proportional to the ground speed in the normal planting speed range of 0.5 -0.8m/s with an error of less than 5%.
There and two important variables in machining process control, which are feed and cutting speed. It is possible to improve the machining accuracy and the productivity by maintaining the optimal feed and cutting speed. In this work, a controller is designed to achieve on-line cutting force control based on the modeling of cutting process dynamics established through step response test. Two schemes are proposed and implemented. The first is feed control under the constant spindle speed and the second is spindle speed control under the constant feed. Finally, both are proved to work properly through simulation and experimentation.
There are two important variables in machining process control, which are feed and cutting speed. In this work, a two degree-of-freedom controller is designed and implemented to achieve on-line cutting force control and position control based on the modelling of cutting process dynamics which are established through step response test. Two schemes are proposed and implemented. The first is feed control under the constant spindle speed and spindle speed control under the constant feed speed. The second is a simultaneous control of feed and spindle speed. The last performs a position control under the constant cutting force. Those are confirmed to work properly. Especially the latter shows a faster response.
