합성곱 신경망을 이용한 전기 아크 신호 검출 (Electrical Arc Detection using Convolutional Neural Network)

  • 전기화재의 원인중의 하나는 직렬 아크이다. 최근까지 아크 신호를 검출하기 위해 다양한 기법들이 진행되고 있다. 시간 신호에 푸리에 변환, 웨이블릿 변환, 또는 통계적 특징 등을 활용하여 아크 검출을 하는 방법들이 소개되었지만, 변환 및 특징 추출은 부가적인 처리 시간이 요구되는 단점이 있다. 반면에 최근의 딥러닝 모델은 종단간 학습으로 특징 추출 과정없이 직접 원시 데이터를 활용한다. 따라서, 1-D 시간 신호를 직접 활용하여 아크를 검출하는 것이 좋은데, 인공신경망의 분류 성능이 저하되는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 연속 입력 1-D 신호를 2-D로 변환한 후에, 합성곱신경망으로 분류하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험 데이터에 적용한 결과 합성곱신경망의 사용이 인공신경망보다 약 8.6%의 아크 분류 성능을 향상시켰다. 또한 2-D 데이터의 부족을 보완하기 위해서 데이터증강을 이용하여, 14%의 분류 성능을 개선하였다.

안전 축산물 생산을 위한 가축사료 내 중금속 오염 분석에 관한 연구 (Contamination Analysis of Heavy Metals in Commercial Feed for the Production of Safe-Animal Products)

  • 가축의 안전한 축산물 생산을 위하여 2004년에서 2007년 상반기까지 국내에서 생산된 배합사료 중 소사료, 돼지사료 및 닭사료의 유해중금속(납, 크롬, 카드뮴, 비소, 셀레늄 및 수은) 및 양돈사료의 구리, 아연, 인 함량을 분석하여 사료의 안전성을 평가하였다. 연도별 배합사료 중 유해중금속을 분석한 결과 카드뮴을 제외한 다른 유해성분은 허용기준보다 매우 낮은 수치를 보였다. 카드뮴은 2005년도 돼지사료 총 987점 중 1점, 2006년도 돼지사료와 닭사료 1,239점과 778점 중 각각 4점과 1점이 허용기준을 초과하였다. 양돈용 배합사료중의 구리, 아연 및 인을 분석하여 양돈사양에 필요한 요구량과 비교하였다. 구리함량을 분석한 결과 육성돈 후기용, 비육돈 및 종돈용 배합사료에 있어서 그 허용기준을 초과하여 검출되는 평균비율은 각각 0.97%와 9.9%로 나타났다. 양돈용 배합사료 내 구리 함량(자돈용 80.98 ppm, 육성돈용 44.82 ppm, 비육돈 및 종돈용 19 ppm)은 양돈사양에 필요한 요구량, 3.5-6.0 ppm보다 훨씬 높은 수준으로 급여하고 있었다. 또 자돈용, 육성돈용 그리고 비육돈 및 종돈용에 있어서 아연 허용기준을 초과하여 검출되는 평균비율은 각각 5.7%, 7.7%, 그리고 9.3%로 나타났다. 양돈사료의 평균 인 함량은 0.74%로 검출되어 사료내의 인 요구량과 비슷하였다.

  • A sliding mode fuzzy control (SMFC) algorithm is applied to design a controller for a benchmark problem on a wind- excited building. The structure is a 76-story concrete office tower with a height of 306 meters, hence the wind resistance characteristics are very important for the serviceability as well as the safety. A control system with an active tuned mass damper is assumed to be installed on the top floor. Since the structural acceleration is measured only at ,limited number of locations without measurement of the wind force, the structure of the conventional continuous sliding mode control may have the feed-back loop only. So, an adaptive least mean squares (LMS) filter is employed in the SMFC algorithm to generate a fictitious feed-forward loop. The adaptive LMS filter is designed based on the information of the stochastic characteristics of the wind velocity along the structure. A numerical study is carried out. and the performance of the present SMFC with the ,adaptive LMS filter is investigated in comparison with those of' other control, of algorithms such as linear quadratic Gaussian control, frequency domain optimal control, quadratic stability control, continuous sliding mode control, and H/sub ∞///sub μ/, control, which were reported by other researchers. The effectiveness of the adaptive LMS filter is also examined. The results indicate that the present algorithm is very efficient .

Unsupervised Real-time Obstacle Avoidance Technique based on a Hybrid Fuzzy Method for AUVs

  • The article presents ARTMAP and Fuzzy BK-Product approach underwater obstacle avoidance for the Autonomous underwater Vehicles (AUV). The AUV moves an unstructured area of underwater and could be met with obstacles in its way. The AUVs are equipped with complex sensorial systems like camera, aquatic sonar system, and transducers. A Neural integrated Fuzzy BK-Product controller, which integrates Fuzzy logic representation of the human thinking procedure with the learning capabilities of neural-networks (ARTMAP), is developed for obstacle avoidance in the case of unstructured areas. In this paper, ARTMAP-Fuzzy BK-Product controller architecture comprises of two distinct elements, are 1) Fuzzy Logic Membership Function and 2) Feed-Forward ART component. Feed-Forward ART component is used to understanding the unstructured underwater environment and Fuzzy BK-Product interpolates the Fuzzy rule set and after the defuzzyfication, the output is used to take the decision for safety direction to go for avoiding the obstacle collision with the AUV. An on-line reinforcement learning method is introduced which adapts the performance of the fuzzy units continuously to any changes in the environment and make decision for the optimal path from source to destination.

양질의 닭고기 생산 방안 (Quality Poultry Meat Production)

  • Concerns about meat quality, including chicken meat, for the human diet has led to many attempts to manipulate the carcass fat and increase the eating quality. For actual eating quality, the birds must be grown and finished in a manner that results in meat that are tender, succulent and of good flavor, as well as being free from any foreign taint, flavor or safety hazard. Tenderization treatment with high voltage(820V) electrical stimulation and prechill muscle tensioning would improve the tenderness of chicken meat. Proper programs for the withdrawal of feed and water require a team approach for maximizing yield of meat and minimizing carcass contamination. Also effding of supplemental levels of-tocopherol to poultry with vegetable or fish oils increases of desirable polyunsaturated fatty acid(PUFA) content and stablizes the meat against rancidity and fish off-flavors. The nutritional effects of varying dietary ingredients on broiler carcass fat content are also important. Increasing the levels of energy in the ration increases the carcass fat content, while increasing the proteing levels decreases carcass fat content. Supplement-tation of poultry diets with amino acids such as methionine, lysine, glycine and tryptophan as well as amino acid such as well as amino acid mixtures can reduce body fat deposition. Normal stress leads to chicken muscular damage resulting in reduced meat quality, but this can be controlled by preslaughter management practices. Feed manufactures can utilize ntilize nutrient modulation to control pale soft exudative(PSE)syndrome. Finally, the success in poultry meat production depends on the consistent achievement of carefully selected levels of quality. Quality assurance should be the wider function of incorporating quality into the production system and the combination of motivating quality into actions and operations.

Listeria Species in Broiler Poultry Farms: Potential Public Health Hazards

  • Broiler meat production worldwide has been plagued by lethal food-poisoning bacteria diseases, including listeriosis. A fatality rate of 15.6% was recorded in human beings in the EU in 2015. During 2013, a total of 200 poultry farm samples, including litter, chicken breast, farm feed, and drinking water, were collected to generate baseline data for the characterization of the genus Listeria in broiler poultry farms. Listeria spp. were detected in a total of 95 (47.5%) poultry farm samples. The isolates of Listeria spp. included L. innocua (28.5%), L. ivanovii (12.5%), L. welshimeri (4.5%), and L. monocytogenes and L. seeligeri (1% each). Listeria spp. contamination rates were higher in farm feed (70%), followed by litter (52.5%), chicken breasts (42.2%), and drinking water (10%). Almost all Listeria spp. isolates were resistant to more than three classes of antibiotics (multidrug resistant). Besides this, we observed a significant resistance level to penicillin and fluoroquinolone drugs. However, lower resistance levels were recorded for broad-spectrum cephalosporins. The inlA, inlC, and inlJ virulence genes were detected in almost all of the L. monocytogenes isolates. Thus, food safety management approaches and interventions at all stages of the broiler rearing cycle were needed to control cross-contamination and the zoonotic potential of listeriosis.

발사체용 추진제 탱크 벤트릴리프 밸브 기술 동향 (Technology Trend of Propellant Tank Vent Relief Valve for Launch Vehicle)

  • 벤트릴리프 밸브는 추진제 탱크의 충전 중 내부의 기체를 배출시키고 충전이 완료된 후에는 탱크의 과압을 해소하는 안전밸브의 역할을 수행한다. 신뢰성과 비용 절감 차원에서 모든 미국의 극저온 액체 추진제를 사용하는 발사체에서는 거의 유사한 벤트릴리프 밸브를 적용해오고 있다. 그리고 발사체의 다양한 임무요구조건을 만족하기 위하여 밸브를 다소 수정하여 사용해오고 있다. 본 논문에서는 발사체 추진제 공급 시스템에 적용되는 벤트릴리프 밸브의 설계 및 제작과 관련한 핵심 기술 동향을 살펴본다. 그리고 우주개발 선진국 발사체에 사용된 벤트릴리프밸브의 운용기술을 소개한다.

여굴저항도를 이용한 터널 발파 여굴 관리 시스템 (Tunnel Overbreak Management System Using Overbreak Resistance Factor)

  • 터널 발파의 최외곽에서 발생할 수 있는 과대 여굴은 작업자 및 장비의 안전에 저해되며 숏크리트 등 지보량의 증가로 공사 비용이 증가시키는 주요 원인이다. 이러한 여굴은 화약 에너지와 암반의 특성 간의 복잡한 발생 메커니즘으로 인해 완벽한 제어가 매우 어렵다. 본 연구는 여굴 발생의 중요한 원인인 암반의 공학적 특성 중 무지보 막장 상태, 단축압축강도, 풍화도 및 불연속면의 특성(빈도, 상태 및 불연속면과 최외곽선과의 각도) 등과 발생한 여굴의 깊이와의 관계를 feed-forward 인공신경망을 통해 분석하였다. 이를 통해 통해 얻어진 각 인자의 가중치를 기초로 여굴저항도(Overbreak Resistance Factor: ORF)를 개발하였다. 더불어 여굴저항도를 이용한 터널 발파 여굴 관리 시스템을 제안한다.

Determinate the Number of Growth Rings Using Resistograph with Tree-Ring Chronology to Investigate Ages of Big Old Trees

  • To verify the possibility of using resistograph to estimate the age of big old living trees, we selected three Zelkova serrata and seven Pinus densiflora in Goesan. The mean diameters at breast height of Z. serrata and P. densiflora were 102 (92-116) cm and 80 (65-110) cm, respectively. The heights measured from the ground using a resistograph ranged at 1.2-4.3 m and 0.6-1.1 m for Z. serrata and P. Densiflora, respectively. The most appropriate needle speed to determine tree-ring boundaries for measuring ring width was 1500 r/min for both tree species. Alternatively, the suitable feed speeds for Z. serrata and P. densiflora were 50 cm/min and 150 cm/min, respectively. From the measured data, the mean numbers of tree rings of Z. serrata and P. densiflora were 57 (43-68) and 104 (93-124), respectively, and the mean tree-ring widths were 4.27 mm (3.18-5.09 mm) and 2.93 mm (2.32-3.34 mm), respectively. A comparison between the time series of tree-ring widths by resistograph and that from the local master chronologies tallied for the heartwood part. Finally, this study showed that resistograph can be used to estimate tree ages when a local master chronology is available.

  • Among edible insects, black soldier fly (Hermetia illucens), yellow mealworm (Tenebrio molitor), and common housefly (Musca domestica) have been considered as an alternative protein source for pigs. Because they are easy to breed and grow in the organic wastes, and they have well-balanced nutritional value as a protein source for pigs. The black soldier fly larvae and mealworm could replace the fish meal in the diets for weaned pigs without adverse effects on growth performance and nutrient digestibility. Black soldier fly could also be included in the finishing pig's diet without any negative effects on the growth performance and pork quality of the market pigs. Insect products showed a greater standardized ileal digestibility value of amino acids than conventional animal proteins in growing pigs. Due to the limited amount of insect products used for pig feeding study, most previous pig studies have been conducted in weaned pigs. Thus, further study is needed about the optimal inclusion level of insect products in every phase diet from weaned pigs to sows. The use of insect products in swine diets has some challenges in terms of cost, supply, and safety. Lastly, intrinsic differences among insect species, processing method, and feeding phase should be taken into consideration for the use of insect products in the swine diets.
