효과적인 의견 자질 결합을 위한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study for Effective Combination of Opinion Features)

  • 의견 검색은 사용자의 정보 요구에 주제적으로 연관되면서도 의견이 포함되어 있는 정보를 검색하는 태스크이다. 본 연구는 효과적인 의견 검색을 위해 사용자 정보 요구를 표현하는 방법과 이 요구를 만족시킬만한 여러 의견 자질들을 효과적으로 결합할 수 있는 방법에 대하여 실험을 통해 분석하였다. 본 실험에서는 추론 네트워크 모델을 기본 검색 모델로 사용하였고, Blogs06 컬렉션과 100개의 TREC 토픽에 대해 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과, 가상의 '의견' 개념을 설정하여 효과적으로 의견 검색의 정보 요구를 표현할 수 있었으며, 극히 소량의 일반 의견 단어집만을 사용했는데도 동일한 환경에서 기존 모델과 견줄 만한 의견 검색 성능을 달성할 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 학술 문헌에서 표현된 단백질 간 상호 작용(Protein-Protein Interaction) 정보를 자동으로 추출하기 위한 확장된 형태의 Convolutional Neural Network (CNN) 모델을 제안한다. 이 모델은 기존에 관계 추출(Relation Extraction)을 위해 고안된 단순 자질 기반의 CNN 모델을 확장하여 다양한 전역 자질들을 추가적으로 적용함으로써 성능을 개선할 수 있는 장점이 있다. PPI 추출 성능 평가를 위해서 많이 활용되고 있는 준거 평가 컬렉션인 AIMed를 이용한 실험에서 F-스코어 기준으로 78.0%를 나타내어 현재까지 도출된 세계 최고 성능에 비해 8.3% 높은 성능을 나타내었다. 추가적으로 CNN 모델이 복잡한 언어 처리를 통한 자질 추출 작업을 하지 않고도 단백질간 상호 작용 추출에 높은 성능을 나타냄을 보였다.

  • 잠정적 적합성 피드백모델은 초기 검색 결과의 상위에 순위화된 문서를 적합 문서라 가정하고, 상위문서에서 빈도가 높은 어휘를 확장 질의로 선택한다. 빈도수를 이용한 질의 확장 방법의 단점은 문서 안에서 포함된 어휘들 사이의 근접도에 상관없이 각 어휘를 독립적으로 생각한다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 어휘빈도를 이용한 질의 확장을 대체할 수 있는 어휘 근접도를 반영한 단어 그래프 기반 질의 확장을 제안한다. 질의 어휘 주변에 발생한 어휘들을 노드로 표현하고, 어휘들 사이의 근접도를 에지의 가중치로 하여 단어 그래프를 표현한다. 반복된 연산을 통해 확장 질의를 선택함으로써 성능을 향상시키는 기법을 제안한다. 유효성 검증을 위해 웹문서 집합인 TREC WT10g 테스트 컬렉션에 대한 실험에서 언어모델 보다 MAP 평가 기준에서 6.4% 향상됨을 보였다.

  • 보통 두 세 개의 어휘로 구성된 질문 분류에서 어휘의 다양한 표현으로 인한 어휘 불일치문제는 성능 저하의 주요 원인이다. 따라서 질문 분류에서 어휘 사이의 연관성을 반영하는 것이 필수적이다. 본 논문에서는 같은 범주의 질문-질문 쌍들에 대해 계산한 어휘 번역확률을 번역기반 언어모델에 반영하여 질문을 분류하는 방법을 제안한다. 실험에서 야후!앤써 질문대답 아카이브를 이용해서 전체 질문-대답 쌍들에 대해서 번역확률을 계산하는 것보다 같은 범주에 속하는 질문-질문 쌍들에 대해서 번역확률을 계산하는 것이 질문 분류에서 더 좋은 번역확률인 것을 증명한다.

Supervised Model for Identifying Differentially Expressed Genes in DNA Microarray Gene Expression Dataset Using Biological Pathway Information

  • Microarray technology makes it possible to measure the expressions of tens of thousands of genes simultaneously under various experimental conditions. Identifying differentially expressed genes in each single experimental condition is one of the most common first steps in microarray gene expression data analysis. Reasonable choices of thresholds for determining differentially expressed genes are used for the next-stap-analysis with suitable statistical significances. We present a supervised model for identifying DEGs using pathway information based on the global connectivity structure. Pathway information can be regarded as a collection of biological knowledge, thus we are trying to determine the optimal threshold so that the consequential connectivity structure can be the most compatible with the existing pathway information. The significant feature of our model is that it uses established knowledge as a reference to determine the direction of analyzing microarray dataset. In the most of previous work, only intrinsic information in the miroarray is used for the identifying DEGs. We hope that our proposed method could contribute to construct biologically meaningful structure from microarray datasets.

기능성 수영복 가슴캡의 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Functional Breast Cap Womens Swimsuits)

  • This study aims to improve the comfort and fit of womens swimsuits. Based on the results of the survey, trial suits were designed. In terms of the breast cap, there are five variations based on the feature, size, and thickness and two variations according to the connection mode of the cap. Total 17 trial swimsuits were made, ease of movement and wearing comfort were evaluated. The results of this study were as follows: 1. In terms of movement according to the type of breast cap, the round type shelved much less movement than the triangular type at the lower part of the cap. According to size, the cap that was manufactured on the basis of brassiere cup size showed much less movement than the ordinary cap size in the same round type of cap. In terms of the connection mode between breast caps and swimsuits, there was less cap movement when they were connected by power nets compared to the ordinary models which were connected by conventional rope. 2. Analysis of the differences in wearing comfort. The round type proved to be more convenient than the triangular type at the lower circumference of the caps, the power net collection was rated more positively by the respondents.

Gareth Pugh의 패션 필름에 나타난 미적 특성 (Aesthetic Characteristics Reflected in Gareth Pugh's Fashion Films)

  • This study deals with the aesthetic characteristics in Gareth Pugh's fashion film. As fashion films are becoming a newly emerging communication tool in fashion, the aim of this study will be to build a database on these films. For the specific method in this work, literature reviews were performed along with the empirical study of seven pieces of fashion film. The results of the study showed that Gareth Pugh released the fashion films from 2008 to 2012, and he collaborated with SHOW Studio member and photographer Nick Knight and Ruth Hogben. Common themes in their films were fear, fantasy, dynamics, and going off-limits, and these can be summed up in the following ways. First, a sense of fear was expressed via black colors, bizarre mechanical sounds, decalcomania shape in abstract images, and transformed physical body images. Second, an image of fantasy was presented with diverse expression techniques including colorful light presentations and abstract image setups from repeatedly changed image reproduction. Third, dynamic feature was denoted with a combination of fast development of images and quick reproduced layouts, as well as quick beat sounds, and big and powerful action movements. Fourth, characteristic of going off-limits was reflected, by showing the collections with a communication tool called fashion film instead of existing collection concept.

현대패션에 나타난 패션 피규어의 특성 (Characteristics of fashion figure in contemporary fashion)

  • This study is about the cases in fashion figure appearing the contemporary fashion and their characteristics. The work aims at providing a further active research opportunity for fashion figure in the modern fashion field and finding several possible utilizations to help the overall fashion industry through examination. Research methodology was followed up with the related literature review and empirical work through the case study of multiple fashion figures denoted in the contemporary fashion. The results showed in the following way for types of fashion figure in the modern fashion. The first type is that its figure was used for stage apparatus in fashion collection, various properties, or garment tool as doll shifted to a certain object. The second type is that art toy or fashion doll was used as specially added product via way of cooperation with fashion brand to be applied as fashion figure alone or other properties for T-shirt or something like that. The third type is the case that multifariously sized figures were applied to show window or shop display. This type of fashion figure is basically an imbedded fashionistic feature, reflecting the rarity, publicity, playfulness, and artistic value.

  • Detecting and capturing 3D human structures from the intensity-based image sequences is an inherently arguable problem, which attracted attention of several researchers especially in real-time activity recognition (Real-AR). These Real-AR systems have been significantly enhanced by using depth intensity sensors that gives maximum information, in spite of the fact that conventional Real-AR systems are using RGB video sensors. This study proposed a depth-based routine-logging Real-AR system to identify the daily human activity routines and to make these surroundings an intelligent living space. Our real-time routine-logging Real-AR system is categorized into two categories. The data collection with the use of a depth camera, feature extraction based on joint information and training/recognition of each activity. In-addition, the recognition mechanism locates, and pinpoints the learned activities and induces routine-logs. The evaluation applied on the depth datasets (self-annotated and MSRAction3D datasets) demonstrated that proposed system can achieve better recognition rates and robust as compare to state-of-the-art methods. Our Real-AR should be feasibly accessible and permanently used in behavior monitoring applications, humanoid-robot systems and e-medical therapy systems.
