The goal of this study is to develop a mobile application so that a person who is new to chemistry can easily acquire the knowledge necessary for chemical structure learning using image tracking technology. The point of this study is to provide a new chemical structure learning experience by recognizing a two-dimensional picture, augmenting the chemical structure into a three-dimensional object, showing it on the user's screen, and using a service that simultaneously provides related information in multiple fields. characteristic. Login API and real-time database technology were used for safe and real-time data management, and an application was developed using image tracking technology for image recognition and 3D object augmentation service. In the future, we plan to use the chemical structure data library to efficiently load and output data.

For pattern recognition for machine learning, the larger the amount of learning data, the better its performance. However, it is not always possible to secure a large amount of learning data with the types and information of patterns that must be detected in daily life. Therefore, it is necessary to significantly inflate a small data set for general machine learning. In this study, we study techniques to augment data so that machine learning can be performed. A representative method of performing machine learning using a small data set is the transfer learning technique. Transfer learning is a method of obtaining a result by performing basic learning with a general-purpose data set and then substituting the target data set into the final stage. In this study, a learning model trained with a general-purpose data set such as ImageNet is used as a feature extraction set using augmented data to detect a desired pattern.
To treat the novel COronaVIrus Disease (COVID), comparatively fewer medicines have been approved. Due to the global pandemic status of COVID, several medicines are being developed to treat patients. The modern COVID medicines development process has various challenges, including predicting and detecting hazardous COVID medicine responses. Moreover, correctly predicting harmful COVID medicine reactions is essential for health safety. Significant developments in computational models in medicine development can make it possible to identify adverse COVID medicine reactions. Since the beginning of the COVID pandemic, there has been significant demand for developing COVID medicines. Therefore, this paper presents the transferlearning methodology and a multilabel convolutional neural network for COVID (MLCNN-COV) medicines development model to identify negative responses of COVID medicines. For analysis, a framework is proposed with five multilabel transfer-learning models, namely, MobileNetv2, ResNet50, VGG19, DenseNet201, and Inceptionv3, and an MLCNN-COV model is designed with an image augmentation (IA) technique and validated through experiments on the image of three-dimensional chemical conformer of 17 number of COVID medicines. The RGB color channel is utilized to represent the feature of the image, and image features are extracted by employing the Convolution2D and MaxPooling2D layer. The findings of the current MLCNN-COV are promising, and it can identify individual adverse reactions of medicines, with the accuracy ranging from 88.24% to 100%, which outperformed the transfer-learning model's performance. It shows that three-dimensional conformers adequately identify negative COVID medicine responses.
Despite recent breakthroughs in deep learning and computer vision fields, the pixel-wise identification of tiny objects in high-resolution images with complex disturbances remains challenging. This study proposes a modified U-net for tiny crack segmentation in real-world steel-box-girder bridges. The modified U-net adopts the common U-net framework and a novel Self-Attention-Self-Adaption (SASA) neuron as the fundamental computing element. The Self-Attention module applies softmax and gate operations to obtain the attention vector. It enables the neuron to focus on the most significant receptive fields when processing large-scale feature maps. The Self-Adaption module consists of a multiplayer perceptron subnet and achieves deeper feature extraction inside a single neuron. For data augmentation, a grid-based crack random elastic deformation (CRED) algorithm is designed to enrich the diversities and irregular shapes of distributed cracks. Grid-based uniform control nodes are first set on both input images and binary labels, random offsets are then employed on these control nodes, and bilinear interpolation is performed for the rest pixels. The proposed SASA neuron and CRED algorithm are simultaneously deployed to train the modified U-net. 200 raw images with a high resolution of 4928 × 3264 are collected, 160 for training and the rest 40 for the test. 512 × 512 patches are generated from the original images by a sliding window with an overlap of 256 as inputs. Results show that the average IoU between the recognized and ground-truth cracks reaches 0.409, which is 29.8% higher than the regular U-net. A five-fold cross-validation study is performed to verify that the proposed method is robust to different training and test images. Ablation experiments further demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed SASA neuron and CRED algorithm. Promotions of the average IoU individually utilizing the SASA and CRED module add up to the final promotion of the full model, indicating that the SASA and CRED modules contribute to the different stages of model and data in the training process.

Some infrastructure these days is usually constructed under the ground for it to not interfere the foot-traffic of pedestrians, and thus, it is difficult to visually confirm the accurate location of the site where the establishments must be buried. These technical difficulties increase the magnitude of the problems that could arise from over-reliance on the experience of the worker or a mere blueprint. Such problems include exposure to flood and collapse. This paper proposes a constructor-oriented visualization system via mobile gadgets in general construction sites with occluded structures. This proposal is consisted with three stages. First, "Stage of detecting manhole and extracting features" detects and extracts the basis point of occluded structures which is unoccluded manhole. Next, "Stage of tracking features" tracks down the extracted features in the previous stage. Lastly, "Stage of visualizing occluded constructions" analyzes and synthesizes the GPS data and 3D objects obtained from mobile gadgets in the previous stages. This proposal implemented ideal method through parallel analysis of manhole detection, feature extraction, and tracking techniques in indoor environment, and confirmed the possibility through occluded water-pipe augmentation in real environment. Also, it offers a practical constructor-oriented environment derived from the augmented 3D results of occluded water-pipings.

With the development of machine learning techniques, various types of data such as vibration, temperature, and flow rate can be used to detect and diagnose abnormalities in machine conditions. In particular, in the field of the state monitoring of rotating machines, the fault diagnosis of machines using vibration data has long been carried out, and the methods are also very diverse. In this study, an experiment was conducted to collect vibration data from normal and abnormal compressors by installing accelerometers directly on rotary compressors used in household air conditioners. Data segmentation was performed to solve the data shortage problem, and the main features for the fault classification model were extracted through the chi-square test after statistical and physical features were extracted from the vibration data in the time domain. The support vector machine (SVM) model was developed to classify the normal or abnormal conditions of compressors and improve the classification accuracy through the hyperparameter optimization of the SVM.
In Machine learning, we usually divide the entire data into training data and test data, train the model using training data, and use test data to determine the accuracy and generalization performance of the model. In the case of models with low generalization performance, the prediction accuracy of newly data is significantly reduced, and the model is said to be overfit. This study is about a method of generating training data based on central limit theorem and combining it with existed training data to increase normality and using this data to train models and increase generalization performance. To this, data were generated using sample mean and standard deviation for each feature of the data by utilizing the characteristic of central limit theorem, and new training data was constructed by combining them with existed training data. To determine the degree of increase in normality, the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test was conducted, and it was confirmed that the new training data showed increased normality compared to the existed data. Generalization performance was measured through differences in prediction accuracy for training data and test data. As a result of measuring the degree of increase in generalization performance by applying this to K-Nearest Neighbors (KNN), Logistic Regression, and Linear Discriminant Analysis (LDA), it was confirmed that generalization performance was improved for KNN, a non-parametric technique, and LDA, which assumes normality between model building.
