고장력볼트 T-인장이음의 정적내력에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Static Load Capacity of T-Type Tension Joints with High Tension Bolt)

  • 인장이음은 고장력 볼트의 체결력과 모재 그리고 고장력 볼트의 내력을 직접적으로 활용하고, 볼트구멍의 가공수나 체결개소의 감소, 피로저항성 등에 있어 유리하며 때문에 역학적으로 매우 효율적인 연결이다. 이러한 인장이음은 교량의 거더와 가로보의 이음, 주탑의 수평이음, 보-기둥 연결부, 바닥판 단부 2차부재 연결부, 브라켓 등에 적용될 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 인장이음의 역학적 거동을 파악하기 위해서 T-인장이음에 대한 정적실험을 수행하였다. 시험변수는 고장력 볼트의 직경, 플렌지 두께 및 체결력 감소이며, 인장이음의 파괴양상과 내력, 플랜지 두께와 고장력 볼트의 직경의 영향, 체결력의 영향에 대해 분석하였다.

온도하중을 고려한 장대레일 궤도의 안정성 해석 (Stability of Continuous Welded Rail Track under Thermal Load)

  • 수십 년 동안, 철도는 차량의 운영과 조작 기술에 맞추어 짧은 길이의 레일을 서로 신축 이음을 두고 연결한 궤도를 이용하여 건설되었다. 그러나 이러한 신축이음들은 궤도 손상과 유지비 증가 등의 많은 단점들을 유발시켰다. 그래서, 철도 기술자들은 차량, 용접, 체결의 기술이 발전함에 따라 열차 하중, 속도의 증가를 위해 레일 사이의 신축 이음을 제거하는 데 많은 관심을 가지게 되었다. 그래서 최근 등장한 것이 기존 레일의 단점들을 해소할 수 있는 CWR궤도이다. 그러나 이러한 CWR궤도는 기존 레일의 단점을 극복할 수 있었으나 레일의 장대화에 따른 온도 하중으로 인한 레일의 좌굴 문제를 야기시켰다. 본 논문에서는 유한 요소 해석을 이용하여 선형 좌굴 해석을 위한 CWR 궤도의 모델과 해석 프로그램인 CWRB를 개발하였다. 레일의 해석 모델은 레일요소 당딤을 고려한 14개의 자유도로 나타내었으며, 체결재, 침목, 도상 저항력을 스프링 요소를 사용하였다. 장대레일의 온도하중에 의한 좌굴 온도 및 모드의 분석으로 장대레일의 온도 좌굴 특성을 고찰하였다.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the stress distribution and the displacement happened to the abutment, the prosthesis, and the surrounding structure according to the location of the nonrigid connector, that is, the keyway in the distal of canine and the mesial of the implant in the three unit fixed partial denture. Two-dimensional finite element model ws constructed and analyzed for the stress distribution and the displacement using software ABAQUS(Ver 5.2 Hibbitt, Karisson & Sorenson, Inc., 1992). After finishing the finite element model, the distribution load of 15kg was applied simultaneously to the all cusp tips of the prosthesis and the concentration load of 10㎏ was applied respectively at the each cusp tip of the prosthesis. The following results were obtained : 1. The amount of displacement of the implant was greater in case of the non-rigid connection than the rigid connection, and the more favorable displacement was shown in case of the IKb than the IKa. 2. Without regard to the connection method, the stress represented at the surrounding bone was similar, and the more favorabel stress distribution was shown in case of IKb. 3. The maximum stress was concentrated at the fastening screw and the neck of implant in all experimental groups, and their stress magnitudes were in the order of IKb, IR, and IKa.

  • As the current stage of the fashion begins to follow the styles of the past the study on he past costume is getting more importance and as the methodology of the study the accurately ap-proached study through the rehabilitation of the past costume is more needed than the simple re-arrangement of the historical documents. By this methodology this study can be positioned as a re-creation activity. The results of the study are as follows. 1) Style: The S-line silhouette remains be-cause of the straight silhouette or the blossom style bodice. This dress has various types of sil-houette but generally it forms one silhouette and is one-piece. 2) color and Material: The material varies hile the color is divided as the main color of ivory and the stress color of brown. This shows not only that the material has been varied but also that they tried to reduce the monotony. 3) Pattern and Sewing: The simple external figure and the previous stage typically shows the movement to the simplicity of the contemporary and the num-ber of patterens is plenty and the sewing method is also complex. 4) Detail. To overcome the simplicity of the style and to show the characteristics of the afternoon dress the skunk fur the net the sash, and the bow are used. 5) Structural Characteristics: The front open-ing the back opening and the side opening coexists in one-pieced dress and this forms unique structure and complex fastening device. The ribbon tape and casing not only finish the seam but also fix the shape of the dress. Synthetically the 1913-14 afternoon dress has the characteristics of transitional stage in which the characteristics of the costume of 1910s and the remnants of the characteristics of the pre-vious costume style and shows the character-istics of afternoon dress well in terms of the ma-terial the structure and the detail.

자동차 연료탱크 모듈의 재활용성 평가 (Recyclability Estimation of Fuel Tank Module in Vechicle)

  • We analyzed recyclability of the fuel tanks made from steel or aluminum alloy. For a comparison of the fuel tank recyclability, first we had analyzed the process of disassembly in a vehicle and evaluated its disassemblability. Then we evaluated the recyclability for reuse and withdrawal. The processes were more or less same owing to the similarity of fastening method of fuel tank and components. However, the fuel tank of the aluminum alloy was easier (about 5%) to disassembly than the fuel tank of steel. This could be attributed to the differences in weight of steel and aluminium. On light of the withdrawal and reuse, the fuel tank made up of steel needed to plate with zinc or lead due to its anti-corrosiveness. Hence, it required additional processes. In this paper, we were explaining the results of our on going research on the recyclability of fuel tanks made of steel and aluminum alloys. The differences that we found between the fuel tank made up of the aluminum alloy and steel were in their weight, recyclability, disassemblability, anticorrosive property, cost and productivity.

오에스비에 대한 각종 부재의 못전단성능 (Nail Shear Performance of Structural Members with OSB)

  • 최근 국내에서 급격히 그 수요가 증가하고 있는 낙엽송과 북미산 SPF(spruce-pine-fir) 규격재의 구조부재로서의 이용에 있어서 가장 간단하면서 많이 이용되는 파스너(fastener)인 못을 이용한 접합에 대해 그 전단성능을 검토하였다. 못접합은 특히 경골목구조(light frame construction)에서는 최적의 시공법으로 인식되고 있으며, 북미와 일본을 중심으로 못접합부에 대한 연구는 많이 진행되어 왔다. 현재 국내의 경골목구조와 기둥-보 공법에서 많이 이용되고 있는 구조부재(축재와 면재)의 못을 이용한 못접합부에 대해 그 전단성능의 기초적인 검토를 행하였다. 못접합부는 면재를 개입한 상태에서 주부재와 측면부재의 방향성에 따라 구분하여 주부재의 방향, 측면부재의 방향, 못의 종류에 따라 전단시험을 행하여 각각의 방향에 따른 못접합부의 전단성능을 비교 검토하였다. SPF 스터드재에 있어서는 낙엽송 집성재나 낙엽송 소재에 비해 못의 종류, 주부재와 면재의 방향성에 따른 전단성능의 차이가 현저하게 나타났다. 또한, 항복내력 및 최대내력과 접합계수와의 관계는 부재간의 배치상태에 따라 다르게 나타났다.

Shape memory alloy (SMA)-based head and neck immobilizer for radiotherapy

  • Head-and-neck cancer is often treated with intensive irradiation focused on the tumor, while delivering the minimum amount of irradiation to normal cells. Since a course of radiotherapy can take 5-6 weeks or more, the repeatability of the patient posture and the fastening method during treatment are important determinants of the success of radiotherapy. Many devices have been developed to minimize positional discrepancies, but all of the commercial devices used in clinical practice are operated manually and require customized fixtures for each patient. This is inefficient and the performance of the fixture device depends on the operator's skill. Therefore, this study developed an automated head-and-neck immobilizer that can be used during radiotherapy and evaluated the positioning reproducibility in a phantom experiment. To eliminate interference caused by the magnetic field from computed tomography hardware, Ni-Ti shape-memory alloy wires were used as the actuating elements of the fixtures. The resulting positional discrepancy was less than 5 mm for all positions, which is acceptable for radiotherapy.

SPR 접합법을 이용한 Al-5052 인장-전단 시험편의 피로강도 (Fatigue Strength of Al-5052 Tensile-Shear Specimens using a SPR Joining Method)

  • Self-piercing riveting(SPR) is a mechanical fastening technique which is put pressure on the rivet for joining the sheets. Unlike a spot welding, SPR joining does not make the harmful gas and $CO_2$ and needs less energy consumption. In this study, static and fatigue tests were conducted using tensile-shear specimens with Al-5052 plates for evaluation of fatigue strength of the SPR joints. During SPR joining process for the specimen, using the current sheet thickness and a rivet, the optimal applied punching force was found to be 21 kN. And, the maximum static strength of the specimen produced at the optimal punching force was 3430 N. During the fatigue tests for the specimens, interface failure mode occurred on the top substrate close to the rivet head in the most high-loading range region, but on the bottom substrate close to the rivet tail in the low -loading range region. There was a relationship between applied load amplitude $P_{amp}$ and lifetime of cycle N for the tensile-shear, $P_{amp}=3395.5{\times}N^{-0.078}$. Using the stress-strain curve of the Al-5052 from tensile test, the simulations for fatigue specimens have been carried out using the implicit finite element code ABAQUS. The relation between von-Mises equivalent stress amplitude and number of cycles was found to be ${\sigma}_{eq}=514.7{\times}N^{-0.033}$.

3차원 직조 복합재료 스킨-스트링거 일체형 패널의 기하학적 모델링 (Geometric Modeling of the Skin-Stringer Integrated Panel with Three-Dimensional Woven Composite)

  • 항공기 날개에 사용되는 스킨-스트링거 패널은 기계적 체결과 접착 체결로 인하여 응력 집중과 접착 분리가 발생할 수 있다. 이를 고려하여, 3차원 직조 복합재료를 이용해 스킨과 스트링거를 일체시킨 패널을 설계하였다. 본 논문에서는 일체형 패널의 기계적 물성을 예측하기 위하여 기하학적 모델링 기법을 제안하였다. 시편의 기하학적 변수를 측정하고 섬유 다발의 패턴을 함수식으로 정의해 기하학적 모델링을 수행하였다. 이를 검증하기 위하여 iso-strain, iso-stress 가정을 사용한 가중평균모델을 통해 각 부재의 기계적 물성을 예측하고 유한요소해석을 수행해 압축시험 결과와 비교하였다. 제안한 기하학적 모델링 기법을 통해 스킨-스트링거 일체형 패널의 기계적 물성을 실험적 방법보다 효율적으로 예측하였다.

유한요소법을 이용한 type 4 수소저장용기용 고정 장치의 구조적 안전성 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Structural Safety Analysis of Neck Mount Block of Type 4 Hydrogen Storage Vessel by Finite Element Method)

  • The study involves a finite element analysis to evaluate the structural integrity of the neck mount block for a type 4 hydrogen storage vessel, with the aim of enhancing its strength and rigidity. The existing neck mount block consists of a fixed part and a sliding part, each comprising a body block for load support, a screw part for neck boss fixation, and bolts. To analyze the vulnerabilities of the neck mount block under bolt fastening and load conditions relative to vehicle travel directions, a structural analysis process was developed. Comparative analysis between the enhanced design and the existing model was performed, resulting in improved strength and rigidity. The objective is to provide guidance for the current product development and to offer fundamental data for the design and structural analysis of future development projects.
