The contents of the study are, firstly, studying post-modernism that influenced the works of Tim Burton, secondly, researching (1988), (1989), (1990), (1992), (2003) and (2005) and their main characters' make-up design. Thirdly, analyzing the otherness and plural-code that are the post-modern characteristics expressed on characters' make-up coordination of fantasy movies. The otherness means the division of the middle and the surroundings and the rise of the outsiders. Fantasy characters that scares off human such as ghosts, aliens, apes, kidults, mutations, man-made men are in the middle. The plural-code takes the symbolic and pluralistic dimension in to the movie, mixes the sign system, and which natural and supernatural system cross over. In the movies, Beetle Juice who was both ghost and devil expresses life and death, Bat man, Cat woman, Penguin man expresses human and animal, and Edward means human and inhuman. Willy Wonka's makeup makes him look younger, but his grown-up-like clothes show doubleness. For that matter, make-up coordination is the mirror of reflection of period and human being's inner life.

  • This paper investigates PN code acquistion algorithm and demodulation performance of the RAKE receiver in the DS/CDMA(direct sequence code division multiple access) sysytems under a multipath fading channel with multiusers. To speed up the acquisition process, PN matched filter is applied and postdetection integration technique comable withthe dynamic threshold set method is proposed. the Maximum-Likelihood algorithmin serial fashion is able to find PN code delay estimates for the RAKE branches using sliding window in a multipath fading channel. The correct acquistion probability and mean acquistion time are used as a performance measure of the system using the Monte Carlo method. The performance of the RAKEreceiver, afte the code acquisition is achieved is the CDMA systems, is also investigated for three major combining techniques.

  • This study analyzed the domestic patent trends of brassiere to provide fundamental data for promising technology. Relevant patents were searched by inputting the key words of "brassiere" and IPC code "A41C" on patent information search service of KIPRIS. A search for bras patents from 1985 to 2019 revealed 533 registered applications out of the total 744 listed. The IPC code with the highest portion (40%) was A41C3/00 (brassiere), followed by A41C3/14 (forming inserts, 21.6%), and A41C3/12 (component parts, 13.3%). To arrange the guidelines of the content of brassiere patents, we carried out a qualitative technology analysis on 744 patents, to extract 850 technology cases applied in patents. From the technological features of each case, main categories were classified into two parts (function and structure) and function was divided into 7 sub-categories that included physiological comfort, physical comfort, utility, healthcare, appearance, and economic value. As for the structure, cup showed the highest portion (37.9%), followed by pad (16.5%), and wings (13.2%). From the aspect of function, appearance showed the highest portion (30.8%), followed by usability (22.2%), physiological comfort (14.6%), physical comfort (14.6%), economic value (10.7%), and health care (7.4%).

And as a result, it is realized in a form of a fashion with its repressed subconsciousness, with resistance to the alienation from the society, and with deviation from the normative ethics and the morality of a society. In conclusion, we classify the subcultural fashion styles into two patterns based on their form of resistance which tries to distance itself from the ritual code of the day: the dressing of the escape from time and the dressing of the escape from space. The first pattern is characterized by nostalgia or futurism, and includes psychedelic, rastafarian, raver, techno style. • Indeterminancy is one of the thought systems which explains all things with not 'either-or' but 'both-and' the conditions and qualities of human identities and inner state. A view of the world of Dionisos of Nietzsche's and the character of Manneristic trend which has resolved the sense of alienation of men by paradoxic expression has succeeded to romanticism surrealism and postmodernism. 1. Cross-dressing has increased under contemporary conditions. There also have been various cross-dressing phenomena in the past but it appears strongly now that it would destroy the cultural stereotypes and give rise to the cultural insecurities in contemporary conditions. 2. The indeterminancy of status that is wealth versus poverty impacts on variations of contemporary dress. This has been represented by neglecting traditional code which is related to wealth in costume by conversion of the symbols of wealth and poverty as disguise with moderation simplicity and additionally poverty image instead of ostentation. 3. In the cultural aspect that is mother culture/ subculture the author has investigated black street fashion which has newly become visible. The black street fashion is wide spread in black popular music such as jazz Rhythm & Blues Reggae and Rap which is subculture against white. The external values of indeterminancy in fashion are n대-manneristic tendencies as deformation eclectic friction and irrational structure and graffiti method. The inner values by indeterminant expression in fashion are irony and paradox grotesque satire and amusement.
