The present study examines whether consumers' perception of waiting time and their behavioral intentions are influenced by the presence of background music in an online shopping environment. In particular, this study aims to explain the underlying mechanism for the effects of background music on consumers' perceived wait and behavioral intentions toward the online retailer by proposing the mediating role of emotions drawing on the Stimulus-Organism-Response (S-O-R) framework. A lab experiment was employed to test the hypotheses. A total of 102 college students were used for data analyses. Results show that the presence of music has a significant impact on participants' emotions, perceived waiting time, and approach behavior. Moreover, the findings show that pleasure and the perceived waiting time serve as mediators in the relationship between the presence of music and approach behavior. Implications of the model for theory, practice, and further research are discussed.
The purpose of this study is to analyze the effect of media on makeup and hairdressing behavior. The data collected for this study were gathered through questionnaire survey with 443 female students in Seoul. The first study focus is on makeup behavior. The ANOVA test reveals that those exposed to magazine show higher level of concern with makeup compared to those exposed to other types of media. Using logistic regression method, we find that those exposed to magazine or those with positive body image are more likely to take makeup course. The next focus is on hairdressing behavior. The ANOVA test reveals that those exposed to magazine show more frequent use of hair salon. They also spend more money on hairdressing. The regression analysis also shows that those exposed to magazine or those with sexual attraction visit hair salon more frequently than others.
The purpose of this study is to classify the fashion images on sportive style, to find out the difference between the image of sportive style which consumers prefer and the image of sportive style which they want to show and, finally, to analyze their purchase behavior. This research is done with survey method. The subjects of the survey are 835 females in their twenties or their thirties in Pusan area. The data are analyzed with factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, $X^2$-test, and frequency analysis. The results of this study are as follows: first, sportive style is classified into Sexy, Romantic, Active and Modem image. Second, the results of analysis on consumers' preferring image and their wanting-to-show image to the above-mentioned image classification are as follows: firstly, the subjects' most preferring image and the image which they most want to show is Modem in1age. The second is Sexy image. But the subjects preferred having Modem image. Secondly, consumers' Individuality and apparel's Function are the important reasons to choose the sportive style. Thirdly, Modem image is the most preferred in the images of street wear. Sexy image and Active image are the preferred in the images of sports wear. Third, It is a vivid tone and a dark tone that is the color tone of sportive wear which consumers prefer. They prefer a logo- patterned sports wear, too. The consumers obtain most information on sports wear from sports wear stores. Silhouette is the most decisive design element in consumers' purchasing. The sports wear brands which the subjects prefer are Adidas and Nike.
The purpose sof this study was to examine consumer's addictive buying through the TV home shopping, focused on materialism, show host and credit card use consumer. Two hundred four female consumers who had purchased fashion items in TV home shopping had participated for this study. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test, and multiple regression were used for the study with SPSS 12.0 program. The result were as follows. First, the addictive buying group was 13.2% among respondents while non-addictive buying group was 86.8%. Second, materialism was classified into 3 factors: happiness, success and possessiveness. Show host was classified into 3 factors such as visual presentation, image and communication skill. Credit card was classified into 3 factors: sales promotion, late payment and method payment. Results of multiple regression revealed that happiness and possessiveness from materialism, credit card late payment, and show host communication skill were significantly related to addictive buying. Based on these results, this study would provide fashion marketing strategies for reasonable and reasonable consuming culture, since addictive buying has been not only individual problem but also social problem. As fashion is a reflection of a way of life, jean fashion seems to be a reflection of the background and process of social-human psychology. Modern jeans reflect personality and trend rather than traditional practicality as indicated by the concept and emphasis of fashion. Since the early 1990s, practical use of jeans has appeared consistently in products for interior use, various kinds of fashion-ware and fashion properties, as well as in fashion that is a conversion and interpretation of an outstanding fashion trend. And the search, providing that various symbols of jeans are sensualism, deviation, ostentation, amusement and multi-culture, shows that jeans represent the multifarious aspects of fashion culture. For the purpose and necessity of this search to meet different consumers' desires by the practical use of jeans and the development of fashion-ware. First, investigate the trend of jeans in 2005. Second, try to change the various uses of jeans by reflecting the trend of jeans. Finally, extend the range of choice by developing various goods. As a result, basic jeans have the strength of function, activity, and originality. Use of ornamental jeans can fully show their value as well as their emphasis of individuality in beauty. If we consider these points, we can minimize the limitations of jeans and make a practical use of the fashion trend, If we make the function of jeans stand out through the use of varieties of materials, the modem characteristic consumption will be met by the various change of use as well as by the clothes.

This study investigated the luxury supply chain management called 'See now, Buy now'. This has been a new way of controlling the supply and demand for luxury brands in the fashion industry since 2016. In this study, we explored the backgrounds and impacts of 'See now, Buy now' in the digital era. 'See now, Buy now' was launched by the fashion brand, Burberry in February 2016. It was the first luxury brand to showcase its entire collection using 'See now, Buy now' among the brands which showcase in Paris, Milan, New York, and London fashion weeks. That has not only caused many controversies in the fashion world but also generated followers. In this study, we analyzed 'See now, Buy now' in three aspects, economics, efficiency, and management strategy, and this was done through a literature survey on articles pertaining to 'See now, Buy now' and empirical surveys on Burberry's collections. Based on 'See now, Buy now', Burberry tried a new process of supply and sale. In the era of SNS, the spread of information is getting faster. The speed of SNS and changes in the fashion market combining IT and mobile technology are major changes faced by the fashion industry. 'See now, Buy now', a model of the new supply and demand in luxury fashion brands, should be noted as a new directional aspect for the future of the fashion industry. Since it was a relatively recent trend that started from the September show of Burberry in 2016, there was still a lack of academic discussion or prior research on this phenomenon. Therefore this study aimed to predict future directions by recognizing the importance of 'See now, Buy now' in the fashion industry. Also, based on this research, the significance of this study was to present a management strategy that applies 'See now, Buy now' to the future of the fashion industry in the digital era.
This study analyzed the effects of optimism and innovativeness, the two drivers of a consumer's technological readiness to use an augmented reality(AR) fashion shopping service within the framework of the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The survey was conducted on 249 people (males = 58; females = 191) in their 20s who were willing to participate in the AR experience. Data were analyzed using confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structural equation modeling by AMOS 22.0. The results indicated that a greater level of perceived optimism had a positive influence on the ease of use and usefulness of the technology. The findings also show that consumers with a high degree of innovativeness tend to have a higher level of playfulness toward AR fashion shopping. Regarding the effects of user beliefs, ease of use had a positive effect on the perception of usefulness and playfulness with higher levels implying a higher consumer intention to adopt an AR fashion shopping service. In addition, this study reveals the moderating effect of consumers with high-fashion versus those with low-fashion innovativeness. For the latter, technological innovation had an insignificant effect on playfulness, thus indicating that consumers with low interest in fashion did not enjoy AR fashion shopping even if the technology was highly innovative. Nevertheless, the analysis confirms the possibility that experiencing a fashion product through AR technology could replace the actual experience of wearing the products.

The purpose of this study is the development of an experimental design that aims to implement three-dimensional fashion design by observing the human body, extracting and combining geometric shapes and forms, and focusing on attempts to decompose the geometry of the human body in art history. Considering the characteristics of fashion design, which inevitably reflect human images visually, this study considered works by deriving geometric shapes and forms of the human body and focusing on decomposition and combination to apply them to fashion design. The results obtained through the development of fashion design through decomposition and combination based on geometric human body analysis are as follows. First, geometric analysis of the human body as an object of expression continues from the history of Cubism to modern fashion design. Second, the geometric shapes of the human body that appear in contemporary fashion design maximize visual effects through three-dimensional composition, emphasizing simplicity while showing originality through various expressions. Third, when exploring the geometric shapes of a moving human body, it was possible to extract a wide variety of shapes and forms through drawing and simplifying the human body's movements. Fourth, the formative method of fashion design was introduced and used for the aesthetic combination of objects for fashion design through decomposition and combination. This study was able to show unique and diverse combinations of visually concise and ordered geometric shapes in the expression of fashion design by decomposing and combining them. The significance of these geometric forms is that they can diversify formative informativeness in the expression of fashion design with modern compositional beauty.

This study reviewed corporate social responsibility activities of fashion companies and discussed strategies of social enterprises. The research was conducted on 6 Korean fashion companies with sales over KRW 1 trillion as of the end of the term in 2015. Corporate social responsibility activities of each company were investigated from economic, social and environmental viewpoints. The results of this study were as follows: First, each company promoted win-win growth, co-existence management, transparent management and ethics management through economic activities. They pursued win-win growth and co-existence management, which aimed to respect and grow with their partners. Also, they ensured transparent management and ethics management to show their moral management. Second, each company conducted various social contribution programs as part of their social activities. Through the programs, they made donations, supported welfare and culture, and practiced voluntary work, local activities, training and equal opportunities. Third, as for environmental activities, each company tried to protect nature through various activities such as donation to environmental organizations, environmental cleanup activities, environmental management from production to disposal, reuse, eco-friendly system, environmental volunteering, etc. Articles on fashion companies' social responsibility activities have an influence on boosting their attitude and image towards businesses.
