The paper represents the results of the development and the test of "cold cathode" ion source model with 5 cm aperture where the glow discharge is utilized for generation of electrons in the cathode of the ion source. The results of probe measurements of the ion source are represented. The integral parameters such as electron energy distribution function(EEDF), electron density and mean electron energy, discharge voltage-current characteristics, and distribution of ion beam were studied.

This paper considers the sequencing problem in mixed model assembly lines with hybrid workstation types and sequence-dependent setup times. Computation time is often a critical factor in choosing a method of determining the sequence. We develop a mathematical formulation of the problem to minimize the overall length of a line, and present a tabu search technique which can provide a near optimal solution in real time. The proposed technique is compared with a genetic algorithm and a branch-and-bound method. Experimental results are reported to demonstrate the efficiency of the technique.

Ayu (or called sweet fish or sweet smelt), Plecoglossus altivelis, is a diadromous fish migrated from freshwater to brackish water to spawn, hatched larvae migrated go to seawater and then back to freshwater to grow. In Asia, it has very high consumers demand due to its good taste and Savor. However, population of this species is currently decreasing because of river pollution, over-fishing and dam construction. Numerous IT organizations and companies around the world aspire to improve the efficiency and general standard of their software development. The IT organizations want to seize the opportunities and take advantages of new development processes and methodologies. These advantages include higher customers' satisfaction and better software quality among many. In order to achieve them, different agile software methodologies such as scrum, Feature driven development, eXtremeProgramming (XP), Dynamic system development method, Kanban and others have been frequently adopted by IT organizations across the world. Several studies have shown that agile software development methods are effective in a lot of settings. This study, in which 40 agile practitioners from Malaysia participated, additionally confirms the effectiveness of agile development methods. Furthermore, this paper presents some of the critical barriers not well-known by IT-organizations. The results of this analysis can be used to guide IT organization from the obstacles they may face while adopting agile in their environments.
