  • The purpose of this stuffy is to derive critical success factors for ERP system implementation by integrating managerial, technical. human resource and organizational culture factors welch have been proposed as influencing factors for the performance of ERP system implementation in previous studios. Especially, this stuffy divides ERP system implementation process into preparation stave, implement stage and settle-down and stabilization stave, and then derives critical success factors in each stage. The data for empirical analysis of the research model are collected from 64 companies and the respondents for questionnaire consist of ERP system implementation project managers and user department managers in companies which have already operated it after ERP system installation. The main results of this study are as follows. First, it derives 27 success factors through comprehensive review of various factors which may affect ERP system implementation performance, and categorizes them into one of three stapes preparation stave, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stage. Second, the relationship between many success factors at each stave (preparation stave, implement stage, and settle-down and stabilization stave) and performance variables is tested. As a result, the significant correlations between many success factors at each stage and ERP system implementation performance are found, and the difference among success factors in the degree of influencing the system performance is significantly shown. finally, the relationship between process-oriented performance variables and result-oriented performance ones is tested. As a result, it is found that there is significant correlation between process-oriented performance variables except for one variable-project resource management appropriateness - and result-oriented performance ones. The theoretical contribution of this study is to derive a comprehensive model of critical success factors for implementing ERP system project from the system deve1opment life cycle perspective, and empirically test it through field survey with a wide range of data collection. And, the practical implication of this study is to present the desirable guidelines for performing ERP system implementation project successfully.

The research model in this study was tested on survey data collected from 282 restaurant owners. In this study, we tried to identify the success factors of the restaurant service industry and analyze the relationship between those success factors and business performance. Especially, we analyzed the impact of success factors on business performance being moderated by the restaurant type and location. Through the analysis of the research model, it is shown that operation management and customer relationship management and so on play an important role in the improvement of business performance. In addition, we found that the impact of the success factors on business performance is moderated by the restaurant type and location. A limitation of our study is the sampling. Franchise restaurants will need to be included in future studies. We expect that our research will help start-up restaurant managers to get useful insights to better manage their own businesses. Although the study on the success factors of the restaurant service industry is very important, there are few researches on that in Korea. Therefore, this study can give new insights on how the restaurant owners do business in the restaurant service industry.

  • The Korean government has focused on universities or colleges as the main targets of its startup policy since the 2010s. However, the performance is not so good, with a low survival rate. The purpose of this study is to examine the factors that underpin the success of student startups. First, through a review of the literature, this study compared the success factors of student startups with those of venture startups, which means the general startup sector, as well as youth startups, also a focus of startup policy targeting youngsters outside universities or colleges. Second, we analyzed case studies of startup companies connected University H. The literature review showed that the main target of student startups is the employment of university students. There is a lack of studies on success factors; existing studies only emphasize the entrepreneurship of students. The results of case studies showed several factors of success similar to those of general venture startups: founders, business model and resources including team, and mentoring.

  • Critical success factors (CSFs) have been replicated and applied in a wide variety of settings for more than two decades. Most previous research on CSF have focused on identifying critical factors, based on the variance theory, in terms of the correlation between individual factor and Information system (IS) success. However, it is unknown how a set of critical factors Influence each other and lead to IS success, which means the process of IS implementation. in this research, we aim to understand how a set of critical factors influence each other and lead to IS success in the context of IS implementation for Customer Relationship Management based on the process theory. This research has implications In explaining a mechanism leading to CRM systems success based on the influencial relationships among the critical factors.

  • Although the demand for IT outsourcing (ITO) has increased recently because of the recent recession, concerns about business discontinuity in the transition phase cause companies to hesitate to adopt ITO. Therefore, a guideline to improve the prospects is needed. However, studies on the success factors of the transition phase in ITO are lacking. In this study, we develop an expert hierarchical value map (HVM) of the success of the transition phase in ITO by using cognition scientific methodologies. We empirically verify how success factors affect the success of the transition phase. Specifically, we derive an HVM of main stakeholders by using in-depth interviews and approaches, such as repertory grid technique (RGT) and laddering, based on means-end chain theory. We validate the success factors empirically through a bipolar analysis of RGT. Finally, we determine the most important cluster of success factors through cluster analysis.
