A Study on the Establishment of Aid-to-Navigation Management Platform through User Interface Implementation (User Interface 구현을 통한 항로표지 관리운영플랫폼 구축 방안에 관한 연구)

  • Aid-to-Navigation facility is important for maritime traffic safety. In Korea, for safe maritime traffic, the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries is using an Aid-to-Navigation management system. The current Aid-to-Navigation management system displays information based on text, making it difficult to determine the impact if Aid-to-Navigation fails or an accident occurs. A simulator can be used to verify the placement of Aid-to-Navigation. However, real-time information is not applied and maintenance of the simulator is expensive. Additionally, the Aid-to-Navigation simulator cannot simulate effects of port backlighting. To improve these issues, we proposed an Aid-to-Navigation management platform based on digital twin technology. This system can predict failures by analyzing real-time sensor data collected from navigation signs. We plan to develop a function that can simulate Aid-to-Navigation placement. Aid-to-Navigation is expected to be managed efficiently by applying digital twin technology.

Preliminary Study on the Simulation for Urban Railway Facility Performance Assessment (도시철도시설 성능평가 시뮬레이션 구현을 위한 기초 연구)

  • For domestic urban railways, which have a 19.7% aging rate, a performance evaluation is necessary to establish capital improvement investment plans. The performance evaluation, which was recently enacted in the relevant law, points out the excessive time and effort for acquiring data and evaluation. This study developed a performance evaluation simulation prototype using a virtual reality (VR) method to use as training contents for railway performance evaluations. The practical use of the VR technique to reduce the working time under poor environment conditions was confirmed through a literature review. A survey and consultation were conducted for urban railway experts to determine the weight of the performance evaluation items and the facility breakdown structure. This information was utilized to develop performance evaluation sheets for simulation. Based on the evaluation sheet, a training content prototype that evaluates the performance of platform safety doors was developed using VR techniques with HTC VIVE equipment. VR simulation tests were conducted for six players, and the prototype was sufficiently advantageous for a visual confirmation of the facility information. The result is expected to be useful for engineers to understand the performance evaluation process efficiently before an actual performance evaluation of urban railway facilities.

  • 최근들어 IT 산업이 급속도로 발전하면서, 리소스가 제한된 작은 기기들의 사용이 비약적으로 증가하는 추세에 있다. 이들 기기들에 플랫폼 독립성(Platform Independency), 보안성(Security), 이동성(Mobility) 등의 장점을 포함하고 있는 자바 환경을 적용하기 위해 연구가 계속되고 있다. 임베디드 시스템이나 모바일 시스템과 같이 자원이 제한적인 다양한 기기들에는 자바 가상 머신을 경량화한 최소 크기의 자바 플랫폼에 대한 Configuration인 CLDC(Connected, Limited Device Configuration)에서 정의하고 있는 K 가상 머신(K Virtual Machine: KVM)을 탑재한다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제로 iRTOS$^{TM}$을 사용하는 기기에서 KVM을 탑재할 때 필요한 메모리 체계를 설계하고 구현한 내용을 설명한다.

  • Urban transit system must secure fast, safe and reliable transportation capacity as a metropolitan mass transit. For this purpose, it is important to make all the sub-systems (which consist of EMU, power feeding, signaling & telecommunication, railway, platform facility, and control system and so on) work well. To operate all the systems effectively and reliably, a maintenance measure optimal to each system's characteristics is needed to be established and executed. So, highly reliable maintenance should be performed. But, EMU maintenance methods suitable to its own model and EMU lines are not yet introduced. This study examined few examples mainly to secure reliability on a maintenance quality in operating method and the features of train maintenance system based on travel distance.

  • This paper is concerned with data center remote management service for demanding forecasting and reduction of energy usage. More particularly, intelligent server rack, mounted on inside of the data center, collects information about energy usage and temperature per server. Using this information, management platform forecasts energy demand in the future and automatically makes report according green environment raw. By providing the remote management service through remote terminals, users are not tied to a time and place to control device inside the data center. In this way, the data center remote management service enhances operability of the facility.

  • 최근 IT 산업의 발전과 더불어, 리소스가 제한된 소형 기기들의 사용이 비약적으로 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 자바는 플랫폼 독립성(Platform Independency), 보안성(Security), 네트워크 이동성(Network Mobility) 등의 장점을 가지고 있어, 이러한 소형 기기들에 자바 환경을 적용하게 되면 여러 가지 이점을 가지게 된다. 임베디드 장치나 모바일 같은 제한된 리소스를 사용하는 기기들에는 SUN 사의 CLDC(Connected, Limited Device Configuration)에서 정의하고 있는 K 가상 머신(K Virtual Machine: KVM)을 탑재하여 사용하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 실시간 운영체제 iRTOS$^{TM}$와 KVM 을 탑재한 소형 기기에서 좀더 효율적으로 KVM 의 메모리를 관리하기 위한 Garbage Collection기법을 설계하고 구현한 내용을 설명한다.

  • This study is intended to apply universal design concept and guideline to the boarding facilities of pleasure boat. In order to fulfill the purpose of the study a site survey at Suyoung Marina has been carried out. Out of the survey some problems are picked up for each part of access and pier facility, boarding platform and inside door. Practical measures for improving the situation are suggested.

  • 최근, 스마트폰 가입자 수가 1000만 명을 넘어설 전망으로 한국은 스마트폰 열풍이며 그중에서도 안드로이드 사용자가 폭발적으로 늘고 있는 추세다. 이러한 추세에 발맞춰 사람과 사람의 관계에 중심을 두는 서비스인 SNS가 급격히 성장하여 모바일의 장점을 살린 음성중심의 모바일SNS, 즉 보이스 채팅 시스템이 많은 인기를 끌고 있다. 그러나 기존 보이스 채팅 시스템의 대화상대 선정, 참여자들 간의 유대감 형성, 발언권 확보와 같은 주요 문제점들을 해결하기 위해 그룹형성, 멤버위치표시, 인원제한을 이용가능하게 하는 CCG(Closed Chatting Group, 폐쇄형 채팅 그룹)라는 '개설자의 현재 위치를 중심으로 형성된 채팅 그룹'을 도입한 CCG기반 보이스 채팅 시스템을 제안한다. 또한 기존의 사용성 낮은 디자인을 사용자 중심의 인터페이스 디자인을 사용하여 편리성을 제공한다. 사용자 중심의 CCG 기반 보이스 채팅 시스템인 SIC는 마음에 맞는 다양한 사람들과 원활한 커뮤니케이션을 할 수 있도록 도와 줄 것이다.

  • 풍력 설비 공유 플랫폼은 풍력발전에 참여하고 있는 기업들간에 보유하고 있는 설비나 부품에 대한 정보를 공유하도록 지원해 주는 플랫폼이다. 이를 위해 내 설비관리, 고장이력 관리, 설비공개 현황, 내 계약 현황 기능을 구현하였다. 풍력 설비 공유 플랫폼을 통해 발전소 설비에 문제가 발생했을 시, 주변의 다른 발전소에서 보유하고 있는 예비 부품을 빠르게 공급받을 수 있도록 지원해 줄 뿐만 아니라, 고장이 빈번한 부품에 대한 구매정보, 고장이력정보 등을 사전에 구축 할 수 있도록 관리해줌으로써 추후 문제 발생 시 빠른 대응이 가능하다.

A Plan for Establishing IOT-based Building Maintenance Platform (S-LCC): Focusing a Concept Model on the Function Configuration and Practical Use of Measurement Data (IOT 기반 건축물 유지관리 플랫폼 구축(S-LCC) 방안 : 기능구성과 계측 데이터 활용을 위한 개념 모델을 중심으로)

  • The reliability of the results of LCC analysis is determined by accurate analytical procedures and energy data from which the uncertainty is removed. Until now, systems that can automatically measure these energy data and produce databases have not been commercialized. Therefore this paper proposes a concept model of an S-LCC platform that can automatically collect and analyze electric energy consumption data of equipment systems using the IOT, which is the core tool in the Fourth Industrial Revolution and operates the equipment system efficiently using the analyzed results. The proposed concept model was developed by the convergence of existing BLCS and IOT and was comprised of five modules: Facility Control Module, LCC Analysis Module, Energy Consumption Control Module, Efficiency Analysis Module, and Maintenance Standard Reestablishment Module. Using the results of LCC analysis deduced from this system, the deterioration condition of an equipment system can be identified in real-time. The results can be used as the baseline data to re-establish standards for the maintenance factor, replacement frequency, and lifetime of existing equipment, and establish new maintenance standards for new equipment. If the S-LCC platform is established, it would increase the reliability of LCC analysis, reduce the labor force for entering data and improve accuracy, and would also change disregarded data into big data with high potential.
