  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect on the vertical ground reaction force, the elapsed time, and the center of pressure factors during gait by maepsi exercise program, which is a whole body exercise, to middle-aged women for 8 weeks. A total of 25 subjects participated in this study, 13 in the exercise group(age, 41±4.4 years; heigh, 162.5±5.8cm; weight, 57.8±6.7kg; body mass, 21.9±2.4kg/m2) and 12 in the control group(age, 41.1±5.6 years; height, 160.9±5.5 cm; weight, 576.2±8.1 kg; body mass, 21.7±2.9 kg/m2). In the exercise group, the maepsi exercise program consisting of 7 areas, 23 types and 77 movements, was conducted 3 times a week for 8 weeks. Two-way repeated measures ANOVA was performed to verify the ground reaction force factors during gait, and the post-test was analyzed with bonferroni adjustment(a=.05). In the exercise group, compared to the control group, the exercise group showed higher values than the control group in the elapsed time to FMWA and FPO, vertical ground reaction force at FMWA and FPO, and RMS factors of COP in the AP direction. Therefore, it was found that the 8-week maepsi exercise program improved the acceleration and deceleration exercise functions of middle-aged women who performed gait.

  • This article contains the development of FPC bonder that used for repair or trial product. Nowadays, in FPO module process (including PDP) accept the thermo-compress bonding method when attach FPC(Flexible Printed Circuit Board), TCP(Tape Carrier Package) and COF(Chip on the FPC) by ACF(Anisotropic Conductive Film). This system consists of ACF attachment part, pre-bonding part, main bonding part, loading / unloading part. This composition is a stand-alone system, not an in-line system. Hereafter, this composition should be developing into in-line system in all area of FPD industry.

  • The surface treatments. Chrome/Manganese and Modified Chrome Pickle, that are treated to improve the anti-corrosion property which is needed to increased the probability of prototype product enabled the sand cast Magnesium test specimens to have better corrosion resistance than non-treated one. Sand cast Magnesium specimens which was treated only with chemical conversion coating had same corrosion resistance with the Steel specimens plated by Zinc, and the another one that had the finishing treatment(painting) worked on the chemical surface treatment had the corrosion resistance property to meet to FPO-3 requirement. We also investigated the multiple finishing system(chemical surface treatment + 3 coating) to test the severe condition that magnesium should to endure.

  • In this paper we implemented the Real Time Contrast Enhancer for image quality enhancement of moving picture. Also we proposed adaptive contrast method that use mean and variance of input video signal. The Designed the contrast Enhancer is measured in comparison with conventional picture and interfaced to 30inch TFT LCD TV of the LG Electronics.

  • Objective: The purposes of this study are to survey general and ergonomics relevant patents of major foreign countries, to classify the ergonomics patents into some categories frequently found in the patents lists surfed and to compare the results with those of Korea. Background: Under today's severe competitions between countries and between companies, the intellectual property has never been more important. It is needed to investigate Korea's positions and worldwide status of patent applications and grants for general and ergonomics patents. Method: This study was mainly based on relevant websites surfing such as KIPRIS, FPO, EPO, WIPO, etc. Results: The results showed that while Korea placed fourth in patent applications and grants in 2012, following US, Japan and China, Korea ranked seventh in the number of ergonomics patents. Of the overseas ergonomics patents, the proportion of tool/device was the second highest to category of others, followed by chair/desk, grip/handle and keyboard, etc. Compared to the overseas ergonomics patents, Korea showed a slightly different trend that there were less patents for specific fields of ergonomics such as grip/handle, keyboard, tool/device, etc. Conclusion: The number of ergonomics patents of Korea was behind most foreign countries surveyed in the number of patent applications and grants of, and there were many categories of overseas ergonomics patents. Application: This study would be used as a reference or guideline when developing varying ergonomic products or applying to ergonomics patents.
