5상 농형 유도전동기의 정수 추정 (Parameters Estimation of Five-phase Squirrel-Cage Induction Motor)

  • This paper propose a improved parameter estimations of five-phase squirrel-cage induction motor(IM) for speed control system on field oriented control(FOC). In order to high performance control of ac the motors using a FOC and DTC(direct torque control) algorithm, there are required precise motor parameters for slip calculation, flux observer, controller gain, rotor position and speed estimation, and so on. We are suggest a estimation method of the motor parameters that developing five-phase squirrel-cage IM have a stator of concentrated winding for experimental. There are results of stator winding test, no-load test, locked rotor test, and obtained equivalent circuits using manufactured experimental apparatus. For presenting the superior performance of the speed control system in adapted the parameters, experimental results are presented using a 32-bit fixed point TMS320F2812 DSP with 1.5[KW] IM.

  • 서보 모터는 컴퓨터와 센서로부터 오는 지령에 대해 높은 위치 정밀도와 정확한 속도제어가 가능해 자동화 시스템에서 중요한 부분으로 사용된다. 본 논문에서는 선형추진 BLDC모터로부터 얻어지는 파라메터를 추정하여 정현여자에 의해 구동되는 방식을 제안했다. 파라미터 추정은 제어기의 게인 튜닝과 외란 관측기를 통해 이루어졌다. 이러한 것을 가능하게 하기 위해 DSP(TMS320F240)를 사용하여 시스템을 구성 하였으며 FOC(Field Oriented Control)방식을 적용하였다. 본 시스템에 사용 된 TMS320F240은 A/D Converter와 PWM 발생부, 다수의 IO Port를 내장하고 있어 서보모터 제어에 유용하게 사용될 수 있는 프로세서이다.

Modeling of a Compressed Air Energy Electrification by Using Induction Generator Based on Field Oriented Control Principle

  • The objective of this paper is to propose a modelling of a small compressed air energy storage system, which drives an induction generator based on a field-oriented control (FOC) principle for a renewable power generation. The proposed system is a hybrid technology of energy storage and electrification, which is developed to use as a small scale of renewable energy power plant. The energy will be transferred from the renewable energy resource to the compressed air energy by reciprocating air compressor to be stored in a pressurized vessel. The energy storage system uses a small compressed air energy storage system, developed as a small unit and installed above ground to avoid site limitation as same as the conventional CAES does. Therefore, it is suitable to be placed at any location. The system is operated in low pressure not more than 15 bar, so, it easy to available component in country and inexpensive. The power generation uses a variable speed induction generator (IG). The relationship of pressure and air flow of the compressed air, which varies continuously during the discharge of compressed air to drive the generator, is considered as a control command. As a result, the generator generates power in wide speed range. Unlike the conventional CAES that used gas turbine, this system does not have any combustion units. Thus, the system does not burn fuel and exhaust pollution. This paper expresses the modelling, thermodynamic analysis simulation and experiment to obtain the characteristic and performance of a new concept of a small compressed air energy storage power plant, which can be helpful in system designing of renewable energy electrification. The system was tested under a range of expansion pressure ratios in order to determine its characteristics and performance. The efficiency of expansion air of 49.34% is calculated, while the efficiency of generator of 60.85% is examined. The overall efficiency of system of approximately 30% is also investigated.

  • This paper presents the photovoltaic(PV) water pumping system with a maximum power point tracking(MPPT). The wale- pumping system uses a variable speed single phase induction motor(SPIM) driven a centrifugal pimp by field oriented control(FOC) inverter. The MPPT using a DC-DC converter controlled the duty cycle to track maximum power from PV under different insolation conditions. The duty cycle directly relate with a flux producing current control($i_{ds}$). The FOC inverter uses a current control voltage source inverter(CC-VSI). The simulation results are shown that the characteristics and performance of drive system, which varies as each conditions of light by expresses in voltage ($V_{dq}$), current($I_{dq}$), speed of motor and torque.

  • 본 논문은 이중여자 유도형(DFIG) 풍력발전시스템에서 유효전력과 무효전력을 직접적으로 제어하기 위한 슬라이딩 모드 기반의 직접전력제어기법을 제시한다. 제안하는 제어기법은 슬라이딩 모드 기반의 전력제어기부와 전력회로부의 스위칭 지령값을 위한 공간전압벡터변조방식(SVM)으로 구성된다. 본 논문에서 제안하고 있는 공간전압벡터 변조방식을 이용한 슬라이딩 모드 기반의 전력제어기법은 고정된 스위칭 주파수에서 기기상수의 변화에 강인한 전력제어가 가능하고, 기존의 자속기준제어기법(FOC)에서 사용되었던 전류제어기와 축변환 없이 직접적으로 전력을 제어함으로써 제어구조가 간단하다. 시뮬레이션과 실험 결과를 통해 제안하는 제어기법의 타당성을 확인한다.

  • This paper presents modeling of dynamic system for slot less air-cored PM linear synchronous motor using space vector PWM. The vector control requires Information about rotor position. And we can need to the Hall sensor for sampling current. In order to agree with this purpose, Digital Signal Processor(TMS320F2406A) developed for implementation of a speed Field Oriented Control.

  • This paper presents a adaptive speed controller for field oriented controlled (FOC) permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drives. However, achieving FOC requires machine specific knowledge, and tracking of drifting motor parameters in order to maintain control. The proposed controller based on Minimum Controller Syntheses (MCS) algorithm does not require exact knowledge of motor parameters. This controller structure simplifies the design and implementation of the adaptive controller requiring less effort to synthesis than a standard MRAC system. Simulation results using Matlab/Simulink show that the proposed controller has good dynamic performances and it is insensitive to parameter variations.

유도전동기 드라이브에서의 대안모델과 일반표준모델에 기반한온라인 회전자저항 추정기의 성능 비교 연구 (Comparison Study of On-line Rotor Resistance Estimators based on Alternate QD Model and Classical QD Model for Induction Motor Drives)

  • 대부분의 회전자 저항 추정기는 표준모델(CQDM)과 대안모델(AQDM)을 활용한다. 두가지 모델에 기반한 회전자 저항 추정기들은 자속이 일정한 FOC와 같은 제어 환경에서는 정확한 회전자 저항 추정치를 제공하는 것으로 확인되었다. 반면, 단위전류당최대토크 (MTPA) 제어기와 같이 자속이 변화하는 동작환경에서는, AQDM에 기반한 회전자 저항 추정기가 다른 동작 운전점에서도 실제 회전자 저항을 정확하게 추정함을 보여주었다. 하지만, 자속이 변화하는 동작환경에서의 CQDM애 기반 회전자 저항 추정기의 성능은 검토된 적이 없으며 그의 성능은 의문이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 자속이 많이 변화하는 MTPA 제어기 기반 유도전동기 드라이브에서 CQDM에 기반한 회전자 저항 추정기의 성능을 검토하였으며 AQDM에 기반한 추정기와 비교하였다. AQDM에 기반한 추정기와는 달리, CQDM에 기반한 추정기는 실제 저항치보다 낮게 추정할 뿐만 아니라 여러 운전조건변화시마다 추정한 값에서 실제 존재할 수 없는 급격한 굴곡이 존재함을 실험 결과에서 확인하였다.

  • Interior permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is most commonly used in the automotive industry as a traction motor for electric vehicle (EV). In electric vehicle, the torque output rapidly changes according to the operation of the accelerator and the braking of the driver. The transient torques are thus generated very frequently in accordance with the variable speed control of the driver. Therefore, in this paper, a method for improving the torque response in the transient states of IPMSM is proposed. In order to complement the disadvantages of the conventional PI current controller in the field oriented control (FOC), the finite-state model predictive current control and 2D-LUT is applied to improve the torque response at the torque transient period. Simulation and experiment results are given to verify the reliability of the proposed method.

  • This paper proposes a new loss minimization controller (LMC) for induction motor drive. The proposed LMC presents a strategy to minimize the total power losses of induction motor (IM), which is based on simplified equivalent circuit and simplified model of IM. The proposed controller using the field oriented control (FOC) method is to determine an optimal rotor flux for obtaining the minimum total power losses and higher efficiency. Simulation and experimental results are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed method.
