Image Processing and Deep Learning Techniques for Fast Pig's Posture Determining and Head Removal (돼지의 빠른 자세 결정과 머리 제거를 위한 영상처리 및 딥러닝 기법)

  • The weight of pig is one of the main factors in determining the health and growth state of pigs, their shipment, the breeding environment, and the ration of feed, and thus measuring the pig's weight is an important issue in productivity perspective. In order to estimate the pig's weight by using the number of pig's pixels from images, acquired from a Top-view camera, the posture determining and the head removal from images are necessary to measure the accurate number of pixels. In this research, we propose the fast and accurate method to determine the pig's posture by using a fast image processing technique, find the head location by using a fast deep learning technique, and remove pig's head by using light weighted image processing technique. First, we determine the pig's posture by comparing the length from the center of the pig's body to the outline of the pig in the binary image. Then, we train the location of pig's head, body, and hip in images using YOLO(one of the fast deep learning based object detector), and then we obtain the location of pig's head and remove an outside area of head by using head location. Finally, we find the boundary of head and body by using Convex-hull, and we remove pig's head. In the Experiment result, we confirmed that the pig's posture was determined with an accuracy of 0.98 and a processing speed of 250.00fps, and the pig's head was removed with an accuracy of 0.96 and a processing speed of 48.97fps.

  • In this paper, We design and propose a protocol for supporting secure and efficient mobility in integrating fast handover and HMIPv6. In the proposed protocol which is AAA-based HMIPv6, if the MN enters the MAP domain for the first time, then it performs an Initial Local Binding Update for authentication. We propose a secure Fast Handover method using the ticket provided by MAP, which includes the secret key for authentication. Also, we analyze and compare security properties of our proposed scheme with those of other scheme using various attack scenario.

Fast Motion Estimation with Adaptive Search Range Adjustment using Motion Activities of Temporal and Spatial Neighbor Blocks (시·공간적 주변 블록들의 움직임을 이용하여 적응적으로 탐색 범위 조절을 하는 고속 움직임 추정)

  • This paper propose the fast motion estimation algorithm with adaptive search range adjustment using motion activities of temporal and spatial neighbor blocks. The existing fast motion estimation algorithms with adaptive search range adjustment use the maximum motion vector of all blocks in the reference frame. So these algorithms may not control a optimum search range for slow moving block in current frame. The proposed algorithm use the maximum motion vector of neighbor blocks in the reference frame to control a optimum search range for slow moving block. So the proposed algorithm can reduce computation time for motion estimation. The experiment results show that the proposed algorithm can reduce the number of search points about 15% more than Simple Dynamic Search Range(SDSR) algorithm while maintaining almost the same bit-rate and motion estimation error.

Performance Comparison of Fast Distributed Video Decoding Methods Using Correlation between LDPCA Frames (LDPCA 프레임간 상관성을 이용한 고속 분산 비디오 복호화 기법의 성능 비교)

  • DVC(Distributed Video Coding) techniques have been attracting a lot of research works since these enable us to implement the light-weight video encoder and to provide good coding efficiency by introducing the feedback channel. However, the feedback channel causes the decoder to increase the decoding complexity and requires very high decoding latency because of numerous iterative decoding processes. So, in order to reduce the decoding delay and then to implement in a real-time environment, this paper proposes several parity bit estimation methods which are based on the temporal correlation, spatial correlation and spatio-temporal correlations between LDPCA frames on each bit plane in the consecutive video frames in pixel-domain Wyner-Ziv video coding scheme and then the performances of these methods are compared in fast DVC scheme. Through computer simulations, it is shown that the adaptive spatio-temporal correlation-based estimation method and the temporal correlation-based estimation method outperform others for the video frames with the highly active contents and the low active contents, respectively. By using these results, the proposed estimation schemes will be able to be effectively used in a variety of different applications.

  • Recently, the amount of created information has been rising rapidly by dissemination of state of the art and developing of the various web service based on ICT. In additionally, the user has to need a lot of times and effort to find the necessary information which is the user want to know it in the mount of information. Document summarization is the technique that making and providing the summary of given document efficiently by analyzing and extracting the key sentences and words. However, it is hard to apply the previous of word embedding technique to the document which is composed by korean language for analyzing contents in the document due to the character of language. In this paper, we propose the new query-focused korean document summarization by exploiting word embedding technique such as Word2Vec and FastText, and then compare the both result of performance.

Fast Prefix Deletion for Parallel TCAM-Based IP Address Lookup (병렬 TCAM 기반의 IP 주소 검색에서 신속한 프리픽스 삭제)

  • In this paper, we propose a technique which makes it faster to delete prefixes in an IP address lookup architecture based on parallel TCAMs. In previous deletion schemes, more than one memory movement is needed for the prefix ordering and keeping the available memory space consecutive. For deletion, our scheme stores the address of the deleted prefix in a stack implemented by SRAM instead of actual movement in TCAM. Since SRAM has very short latency compared to TCAM, the proposed scheme can accomplish fast updating. From the experiment with the real forwarding table and update trace, we evaluate the performance of our scheme in terms of the memory access time for the prefix insertion and deletion. The experiment result also shows good performance with considerably small size of stack.

Intra MB Prediction Mode Decision Method for Fast MPEG-2 to H.264/AVC Transcoding (고속 MPEG-2-H.264/AVC 변 환부호화를 위한 화면내 MB 예측 모드 결정 기법)

  • Since the high quality digital TV systems are broadly deployed in the market, the digital video contents will be edited and distributed in MPEG-2 MP@HL fonnat. Due to its impressive coding efficiency, the H.264/AVC codec has rapidly replaced the MPEG-4 SP codec for mobile digital video terminal with low quality. For the bro ad distribution of digitial video contents produced in MPEG-2 format, the MPEG-2 to H.264/AVC transcoding is highly necessary nowadays. In this paper, we propose a fast intra MB prediction mode decision method to reduce the computational complexity in the transcoding, which is the main bottleneck in the transcoders. The proposed method is based on the several relationships such as DCT coefficients and edge orientation, correlation between prediction directions in the $Intra16{\times}16$ and $Intra4{\times}4$ modes, correlation between edge-orientations of luminance an d chrominance components. The simulation results show that the proposed method can reduce the computational complexity upto 70% and 40%, compared with the cascaded transcoder and the well-known fast intraframe transc oder, respectively.

  • In this paper, we propose a new mobility management scheme, called i-FP(intelligent Fast PMIPv6). Our proposed i-FP scheme is addressed for solving the existing local mobility management problems from legacy frameworks. To move MN(Mobile Node) to other networks in one domain, i-FP employs three network entities which are extended from PMIPv6(Proxy Mobile IPv6), LMA(Local Mobility Anchor), MAG(Mobile Access Gateway) and MN. In i-FP, the three network entities can reduce the handover delay time of MNs. Also, i-FP uses an IP header swapping mechanism to avoid the traffic overhead and improve the throughput of network. To evaluate the performance of i-FP, we analyze our i-FP, HMIPv6(Hierarchical Mobile IPv6) and PMIPv6 which are legacy protocols of local mobility management in terms of various parameters. Finally, our i-FP scheme shows good performance(reduction of routing hops 10.2%, signaling costs 58.5% and handover delay 16.3%) than other network schemes for the total cost.

  • In this paper, we consider the encoding scheme of low density codes. In particular, we propose the fast encoding algorithm of the low density codes using circulant permutation matrices, The fast encoding algorithm is similar to the fast Hadamard transform, and the results show that the proposed scheme is a simple and fast encoding algorithm of the low density codes.

  • 금융 시장에서 전산거래방식이 차지하는 비중이 증가하고 그 방식이 고도화되면서 시장에서 발생하는 데이터양이 급속히 증가하고 있다. FAST 프로토콜은 대량의 정보를 압축하여 저비용 고효율로 데이터를 송수신하기 위해 제안된 텍스트 기반 프로토콜이다. 현재의 FAST 템플릿은 오랜 경험을 가진 전문가에 의해 수동으로 만들어지고 있으며, 최적화된 템플릿을 생성하기가 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 금융거래에 실제로 사용되는 기초데이터들의 패턴을 분석하여 FAST 프로토콜의 압축효율을 최대로 높일 수 있는 수 있는 템플릿 자동생성기법을 제안한다. 필드의 자연적인 속성과 패턴을 그대로 살려 신속하고 정확하게 필드 연산자를 도출, 템플릿을 완성할 수 있었다.
