뇌졸중 환자에서 Figure-of-8 walk test의 신뢰도와 타당도 (The Reliability and Validity of Figure-of-8 Walk Test in Patients with Stroke)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to establish intra-rater, inter-rater, test-retest reliability, and concurrent validity of figure-of-8 walk test in people with stroke. Methods : The subjects of this study were 17 patients who were diagnosed with a stroke. Subjects were tested twice by the same raters, with 1 day between tests. Subjects were assessed by two physical therapists. Test-retest reliability was calculated using intraclass correlation coefficients (ICC). The concurrent validity was demonstrated by spearman correlation of F8WT with 10m walking test (10MWT), timed up and go test (TUG), Berg balance scale (BBS), dynamic gait index (DGI) and four square step test (FSST). Results : Intra-rater, inter-rater, test- retest of F8WT time, showed high reliability. Intra-rater, inter-rater, test-retest of F8WT steps demonstrated high reliability. Intra-rater, inter-rater, test-retest of F8WT total smoothness score showed below moderate reliability. There was a significant positive correlation of F8WT time with 10MWT, TUG, FSST. There was a significant negative correlation of F8WT time with DGI, BBS. There was a significant positive correlation of F8WT steps with 10MWT, TUG, FSST. There was a significant negative correlation of F8WT steps with DGI. There was a significant positive correlation of F8WT test total smoothness score with BBS. Conclusion : The time, and number of steps in F8WT show high inter, intra-rater, test-retest reliability. The F8WT smoothness shows below moderate reliability. The F8WT shows high concurrent validity with other comparable balance, and walking tests. The F8WT is a valid and reliable measure for assessing walking function in patients with a stroke.

  • 본 연구의 목적은 만성 뇌졸중 환자 8자 모양 경로 보행 검사(Figure-of-Eight Walk Test, F8WT)의 측정자간 절대적 신뢰도와 타당도를 알아보고자 하였다. 만성 뇌졸중 환자 36명을 대상으로 하였으며 F8WT 소요 시간의 측정자간 신뢰도는 급간내상관계수(Intra Class Coefficient, $ICC_{2,1}$)를 구하였고, 절대적 신뢰도는 측정의 표준 오차값(Standard Error Measurment, SEM)과 최저 실제 차이(Small Real Difference, SRD)를 구하였다. F8WT 소요시간의 타당도는 뇌졸중 자세 평가 척도(Postural Assessment Scale for Stroke, PASS)와 체간 장애 척도(Trunk Impairment Scale, TIS)간의 스피어만 상관 계수(Spearman Correlation Coefficient)를 구하였다. 연구 결과 F8WT 소요 시간의 측정자간 신뢰도 ICC=0.95(0.91~0.97)로 매우 높았고, SEM과 SRD는 각각 1.02점, 2.82점으로 수용할 만 하였다. F8WT 소요 시간은 PASS(r=-0.82), TIS(r=-0.85)와 유의한 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 뇌졸중 환자의 특이성 장애인 자세 및 체간 조절과 유의한 관련성이 있는 것으로 확인되었다. 따라서 F8WT는 만성 뇌졸중 환자의 보행 능력을 평가하는데 유용한 평가 도구로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

Correlation of Curved Walking Ability with Straight Walking Ability and Motor Function in Patients with Hemiplegia

  • Purpose: In real life there are both straight-paths and curved-paths. To evaluate walking ability of both kinds, a figure-8 walking test (F8WT) was developed. The aim of this study was to validate the measure in hemiplegic patients with walking difficulties and to identify correlations of curved walking ability with straight walking ability, motor function, and walking performance ability. Methods: Twenty subjects participated in this study. Curved walking was measured by a F8WT. Straight walking ability was measured by a 10-meter walking test (10MWT). Dynamic balancea bility was measured by timed up and go (TUG) tests. Walking performance ability was measured using a modified motor assessment scale (MMAS). Motor function was measured by the Fugl-Meyer assessment (FMA) scale. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis. Linear regression analyses were performed to explore other functional tests in mobility ability by F8WT time, 10MWT (dependent variable). Results: There was a significant positive correlation of F8WT time with 10MWT and TUG. There was a significant negative correlation of F8WT time with MMAS and FMA-coordination. There was a significant positive correlation of 10MWT with TUG. There was a significant negative correlation of 10MWT with MMAS and FMA-coordination. The F8WT time for curved walking ability was attributed to 10MWT for straight walking ability as 94% level of contribution. Conclusion: The results suggest that the F8WT is a good instrument for measuring walking ability because there is a robust correlation of F8WT time with 10MWT, TUG, MMAS, and FMA-coordination in hemiplegic patients who, after stroke, have a mobility deficiency.

Effects of Ground Obstacle Walking Combined with Treadmill Training on Gait Ability in Chronic Stroke Patients -A Preliminary Study-

  • Purpose: Gait training for stroke patients focuses on adjusting to new environments to facilitate outdoor walking. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the effects of various ground obstacle walking combined with treadmill walking on the gait parameters and functional gait ability of chronic stroke patients. Methods: Twenty-four chronic stroke patients were divided into two groups: an experimental group (n = 12) and a control group (n = 12). The experimental group received a combined gait training using various ground obstacle walking and treadmill walking (VGOW) five times/week for four weeks. The control group received traditional treadmill training (TW) five times/week for four weeks. Patients were evaluated using the figure-8 walk test (F8WT) and the Functional Gait Assessment (FGA) before and after each intervention. Results: The ANCOVA results showed that both treatments significantly influenced F8WT steps, F8WT time, and FGA score. The paired t-test results showed a significant improvement in F8WT steps, F8WT time, and FGA score in the experimental group compared to those in the control group. Conclusion: Combined gait training using various ground obstacle walking and treadmill walking can improve gait ability in chronic stroke patients.

스컬용융법에 의해 성장시킨 Co와 Pr이 첨가된 이트리아안정화큐빅지르코니아(YSZ) 단결정의 연구 (Investigation of Co- and Pr-doped yttria-stabilized cubic zirconia (YSZ) single crystal grown by skull melting method)

  • Co(0.7 wt%)와 Pr(2.0, 3.5 및 5.0 wt%)이 첨가된 큐빅지르코니아($ZrO_2:Y_2O_3=50:50wt%$) 단결정을 스컬용융법으로 성장 후 $N_2$ 분위기에서 $1150^{\circ}C$로 5시간 동안 열처리 하였다. 갈색의 단결정들은 각각 어두운 갈녹색, 녹청색 또는 밝은 녹색으로 변화되었다. 열처리 전 후의 YSZ 단결정들을 직경 7.5, 두께 3 mm의 웨이퍼로 연마 하여 UV-VIS 분광광도계 및 XRD(X-ray diffraction)로 광학적 또는 구조적 특성 분석을 행하였다. $Co^{2+}$(약 589 nm: ${\Gamma}_8[^4A_2(^4F)]{\rightarrow}{\Gamma}_8+{\Gamma}_7[^4T_1(^4F)]$, 약 610 nm: ${\Gamma}_8[^4A_2(^4F)]{\rightarrow}{\Gamma}_8[^4T_1(^4F)]$, 약 661 nm: ${\Gamma}_8[^4A_2(^4F)]{\rightarrow}{\Gamma}_6[^4T_1(^4F)]$$Pr^{3+}$(약 450 nm: ${^3}H{_4}-{^3}P{_2}$, 약 473 nm: ${^3}H{_4}{\rightarrow}{^3}P{_1}$, 약 484 nm: ${^3}H{_4}{\rightarrow}{^3}P{_0}$)에 의한 흡수, 이온화에너지 및 격자상수 변화를 확인하였다.

  • The electrodes were fabricated by compounding the commercial activated carbons and additives of conducting polymer with PVdF mono binder and PVdF-PVP mixed binders. The best performance of the electrodes fabricated with activated carbon(BP-20) and PVdF-PVP mixed binders showed in 88wt. % BP-20. 7wt. % conducting polymer and 5wt.% PVdF-PVP mixed binder. The electrode exhibited excellent electrochemical characteristics having 8.16 W.h/kg of energy density, 34.77 F/g of specific capacitance, $0.67\Omega$of ESR.

HVOF 용사된 $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$-NiCr 용사층의 산화 거동 (Oxidation Behavior of the HVOF-sprayed $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$-NiCr Coating Layer)

  • 수소를 연료로 하여 HVOF 용사된 크롬카바이드 용사층의 산화거동을 이해하기 위해 용사분말의 제조방법이 서로 다른 두 종류의 용사용 분말을 ($\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$-20wt%NiCr로 구성된 크래드 분말과 $\textrm{Cr}_{3}\textrm{C}_{2}$-7wt%NiCr로 구성된 혼합분말)이용하여 F/O비를 3.2, 3.0, 2.8 로 변화시켜 용사한 후, $1000^{\circ}C$ 까지 등온 산화실험 후, 산화특성을 고찰하여 크롬카바이드 용사층의 F/O비에 의존하는 산화거동을 비교 검토하였다. 그 결과 NiCr이 20wt% 크래드된 분말로 용사된 용사층과 NiCr이 7wt% 혼합된 분말로 용사된 용사층은 전혀 다른 산화거동을 보였다. 혼합분말의 경우에 $1000^{\circ}C$에서 50시간 등온산화실험 후, F/O=3.2의 조건인 경우에는 산화물이 표면 요철을 따라 비교적 균일하게 성장한 반면 F/O=3.0과 F/O=2.8의 경우에는 용사층 표면이 다공성의 산화물이 형성되었으며, 또한 Ni, Cr으로 이루어진 복합산화물인 oxide cluster로 성장하였다. 반면에 크래드 분말로 용사된 용사층의표면 산화물 층은 다공성을 변화되지 않았다. 이러한 용사분말의 제조방법에 따라 산화거동이 차이를 보이는 것은 용사 중에 발생하는 카바이드분해와 밀접한 관계가 있는 것으로 생각되며 또한 일반적으로 알려진 크롬카바이드 소결체 보다 산화율이 높았다. 이러한 결과로 볼 때, 환원성의 수소의 양에 따른 용사층의산화거동에 대해서도 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다.

수소 분위기에서 고 에너지 볼 밀링으로 제조한 80Mg+14Ni+6TaF5합금의 수소와의 반응 속도와 수소 저장 용량 (Reaction Rate with Hydrogen and Hydrogen-storage Capacity of an 80Mg+14Ni+6TaF5 Alloy Prepared by High-energy Ball Milling in Hydrogen)

  • In the present study, Ni and $TaF_5$ were chosen as additives to enhance the hydriding and dehydriding rates of Mg. A sample with a composition of 80 wt% Mg + 14 wt% Ni + 6 wt% $TaF_5$ (named $80Mg+14Ni+6TaF_5$) was prepared by high-energy ball milling in hydrogen. Its hydriding and dehydriding properties were then examined. At the fourth cycle, the activated sample absorbed 3.88 wt% H for 2.5 min, 4.74 wt% H for 5 min, and 5.75 wt% H for 60 min at 593 K under 12 bar $H_2$. $80Mg+14Ni+6TaF_5$ had an effective hydrogen-storage capacity (the quantity of hydrogen absorbed for 60 min) of about 5.8 wt%. The sample desorbed 1.42 wt% H for 5 min, 3.42 wt% H for 15 min, and 5.09 wt% H for 60 min at 593 K under 1.0 bar $H_2$. Line scanning results by EDS for $80Mg+14Ni+6TaF_5$ before and after cycling showed that the peaks of Ta and F appeared at different positions, indicating that the $TaF_5$ in $80Mg+14Ni+6TaF_5$ was decomposed.

플루오르함량이 Fluorophologopite 결정들을 함유하고 있는 기계 가공성 결정화유리의 합성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (Study on Effect of Fluorine Content on the Synthesis of Machinable Glass-ceramics Based on Fluorophlogopite Crystals)

  • The crystallization behaviour and the machinability of mica glass-ceramics with the content of F1 were studied. The material was made from the $K_2O-MgO-Al_2O_3-B_2O_3-SiO_2-F$ glasses by the heattreatment at 80$0^{\circ}C$-110$0^{\circ}C$ where the content of F-1 was changed in the range from 1, 3wt% to 6.1wt%. X-ray diffraction phase analysis and optical observation were adopted to study the crystallization behaviour. The machinability was measured by a manual sawing test and MOR. The crystal phases of these glass-ceramics identified by XRD were chondrodite fluoborite and norbergite at low temperature but fluorophlogopite at high temperature. The crystallization of glasses containing 1.3wt% -2.5wt% F-1 were predominately controlled by surface crystallization while the crystallization of glasses containing 3.8 wt% -6.1wt% F-1 were controlled by volume crystallization. Among the test the best machinability and strength value were obtained from those specimens contained fluoride 4.2wt% -4.4wt% and when the heattreatment was performed at 95$0^{\circ}C$-110$0^{\circ}C$ for 2 hours.

적층형 마이크로파 소자용 $BiNbO_4$ 유전체 세라믹스의 유전특성 (Dielectric properties of $BiNbO_4$ dielectric ceramics for multilayer microwave device)

  • We have investigated dielectric properties of low fired ceramics BiNbO$_{4}$ containing 0.05[wt%] V$_{2}$O$_{5}$ and x[wt%l Cr$_{2}$O$_{3}$ (x=0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.8, 1.2). By substituting Cr for Bi, dielectric constant .epsilon.$_{r}$ and quality factor Q.f increased and temperature coefficient of resonant frecquency .tau.$_{f}$ changed to positive value. In the composition of BiNbO$_{4}$+0.05 [Wt%] V$_{2}$O$_{5}$+0.8[wt%]Cr$_{2}$O$_{3}$ sintered at 960[.deg. C], we could obtain microwave dielectric properties of .epsilon.$_{r}$=49, Q.f.simeq.3000[GHz](at 4.8[GHz]), .tau.$_{f}$.simeq.0[ppm/.deg. C]. As the above ceramics can be sintered near 960[.deg. C], it is applicable to multilayer microwave device with Ag conductor.tor.tor.tor.
