In order to analysis of the stress distribution around flaws and the interaction effects between fatigue cracks, stress around micro hole was analyzed by Finite Element Method(F.E.M.) and micro hole specimens were tested using rotary bending fatigue machine and twisting fatigue machine to identify stress effects for fatigue cracks initiating from micro holes and interaction effects between micro holes. The results are as follows : Interaction effects of .sigma. $_{y}$for the micro hole side is larger than the large micro hole side when the interval between micro holes is near. Stress concentration factor increase as the diameter of micro hole becomes smaller. But, stress field of micro hole is smaller than that of large micro hole at h .leq. r (h:depth of micro hole, r:radius of micro hole) and that of large hole is larger than that of small micro hole at h >r expect the small range from micro hole.e.
The present study aims to analyze the biological aspects and population dynamics of Indian mackerel in Barru waters. Data was collected in Barru for 11 months, from June 2022 to April 2023. The observed parameters of biological aspects included gonadal maturation stages (GMSs), size at first gonadal maturation, and length-weight relationship. Meanwhile, the aspects of population dynamics encompass age group, growth, mortality rate, and exploitation rate. Data analysis consisted of morphological selection of general maturation stages, Spearman-Kärber method in estimating gonadal first maturation size, Bhattacharya method in identifying age group, von Bertalanffy function through FISAT II to measure growth (L∞ and K), Pauly Model to estimate mortality rate, Beverton & Holt Model to estimate Y/R, and virtual population analysis (VPA) analysis to estimate stock and fish yield. The results demonstrated that GMS I was observed to be dominant, followed by stages II and III. The initial gonadal maturation was estimated to be 17.98-19.28 cm (FL) for females and 17.98-19.27 cm (FL) for males. The length-weight relationship in male and female Indian mackerels indicated a positive allometric growth. The mode grouping analysis results from the fork length measurement revealed three age groups. It was also identified that the asymptotic length (L∞) = 29.5 cm (fork length), growth rate coefficient (K) = 0.46 per year, and theoretical age at zero length (t0) = -0.3576 per year. Total mortality (Z) = 2.67 per year, natural mortality (M) = 1.10 per year, fishing mortality (F) = 1.57 per year, and exploitation rate (E) = 0.59, the actual Y/R = 0.083 gram/recruitment, and optimal Y/R 0.03 gram/recruitment. Fishing mortality is higher than the natural mortality rate, and a high exploitation value (E > 0.5) also reflects over-exploitation. VPA analysis on fish yields and stock estimation reported a highly exploited rate between the 11.5 cm and 14.5 cm length classes and an exceeding current yield of 467.07 tons/year with a recommended yield of 233.53 tons/year to ensure population sustainability.

The first small interfering RNA (siRNA) therapeutics have recently been approved by the Food and Drug Administration in the U.S., and the demand for a new RNA therapeutics bioanalysis method-which is essential for pharmacokinetics, including the absorption, distribution, metabolism, and excretion of siRNA therapeutics-is rapidly increasing. The stem-loop real-time qPCR (RT-qPCR) assay is a useful molecular technique for the identification and quantification of small RNA (e.g., micro RNA and siRNA) and can be applied for the bioanalysis of siRNA therapeutics. When the anti-HPV E6/E7 siRNA therapeutic was used in preclinical trials, the established stem-loop RT-qPCR assay was validated. The limit of detection was sensitive up to 10 fM and the lower limit of quantification up to 100 fM. In fact, the reliability of the established test method was further validated in three intra assays. Here, the correlation coefficient of $R^2$>0.99, the slope of -3.10 ~ -3.40, and the recovery rate within ${\pm}20%$ of the siRNA standard curve confirm its excellent robustness. Finally, the circulation profiles of siRNAs were demonstrated in rat serum, and the pharmacokinetic properties of the anti-HPV E6/E7 siRNA therapeutic were characterized using a stem-loop RT-qPCR assay. Therefore, the stemloop RT-qPCR assay enables accurate, precise, and sensitive siRNA duplex quantification and is suitable for the quantification of small RNA therapeutics using small volumes of biological samples.
In most mountainous parts of the temperate zone of Japan along the Pacific Ocean, some climatic climax forests, whose main dominant species is Fagus crenate, F. japonica or Quercus mongolica var. grosseserrata, are distributed. In the riparian regions of the zone, however, there appear summer green forests composed of the different species from the climatic climax forests. Climate plays an important role in determining the overall distribution of vegetation, but some environmental factors, i.e., topography, soil type, soil moisture content, etc. have a great influence on vegetation formation. Riparian forests seem to be controlled by various geomorphologic disturbances, such as landslide, soil erosion and accumulation. The study aims to present the relationships among vegetation, soils and landforms in the process of determining riparian forests dominated by Fraxinus platypoda and Pterocarya rhoifolia establishment in the mountainous region of central Japan. The study area extends an area of 302 ha with a range of elevation between 925 m and 1,681 m at the Chichibu mountains. The landforms were corditied at sampling grids (25 $\times$ 25 m, n = 4,843) using a hierarchical system, and a brief description of the forest soil classification was also given. The mutual relationship analysis indicated that forest soils and landforms play a significant role in determining the geomorphological process of riparian forest, and shaping the ultimate pattern of vegetation. At the study area, riparian forests were mainly found on the $B_E$ forest soil type and steep slopes ( > 30$^{\circ}$) at convex slopes along the streams. On the other hand, the direction of slopes did not have a significant impact on the establishment of the riparian forests. A mosaic of patchy distribution of those riparian forests on the slightly wetter $B_E$ forest soil type was one of the characteristic features of the study area. This particular soil which contained large talus gravels was found on the land formed by erosion and deposition of landslide.
In this study, the fluorine doped $TiO_2$ was prepared as a photoelectrode in order to improve the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells and estimated the electrochemical characterizations. The energy conversion efficiency of the prepared dye-sensitized solar cells using fluorine doped $TiO_2$ was calculated from a current-voltage curve. The efficiency of prepared dye-sensitized solar cells was improved by about maximum three times by F-doping on $TiO_2$. It was suggested that the efficiency of dye-sensitized solar cells was improved by hybrid semiconductors of $TiO_2/TiOF_2$ in photoelectrode based on reduced $TiOF_2$ energy level via fluorine doping. It can be confirmed that the electron transport was faster but the electron recombination was slower by doping fluorine on $TiO_2$ in photoelectrode through intensity-modulated photocurrent spectroscopy and intensity-modulated photovoltage spectroscopy analysis.

Objectives: This study compared the cyclic fatigue resistance of One Curve (C wire) and F6 Skytaper (conventional austenite nickel-titanium [NiTi]), and 2 instruments with thermos-mechanically treated NiTi: Protaper Next X2 (M wire) and Hyflex CM (CM wire). Materials and Methods: Ten new instruments of each group (size: 0.25 mm, 6% taper in the 3 mm tip region) were tested using a rotary bending machine with a 60° curvature angle and a 5 mm curvature radius, at room temperature. The number of cycles until fracture was recorded. The length of the fractured instruments was measured. The fracture surface of each fragment was examined with a scanning electron microscope (SEM). The data were analyzed using one-way analysis of variance and the post hoc Tukey test. The significance level was set at 0.05. Results: At 60°, One Curve, F6 Skytaper and Hyflex CM had significantly longer fatigue lives than Protaper Next X2 (p < 0.05). No statistically significant differences were found in the cyclic fatigue lives of One Curve, F6 Skytaper, and Hyflex CM (p > 0.05). SEM images of the fracture surfaces of the different instruments showed typical features of fatigue failure. Conclusions: Within the conditions of this study, at 60° and with a 5 mm curvature radius, the cyclic fatigue life of One Curve was not significantly different from those of F6 Skytaper and Hyflex CM. The cyclic fatigue lives of these 3 instruments were statistically significantly longer than that of Protaper Next.

Sandwich plate is consisted of equal two isotropic, thin, stiff and strong sheets of dense material separated symmetrically by an isotropic thick layer which may be much less stiff and strong. This study analyzed the dependency of the natural frequencies and mode shapes of sandwich plates on material properties, thicknesses of faces and cores, and various boundary conditions using Rayleigh-Ritz method. E-glass Woven Roving and another two kinds of materials were selected as a face, P.V.C. and another kinds of materials were selected as a core. Natural frequencies and mode shapes obtained by Rayleigh-Ritz method were compared with F.E.M. solutions using ADINA program.

The present study compared the structure of mixilliped of Fenneropenaeus chinensis between the larval and adult stage and investigated the effect of the structural difference on the immunity of F. chinensis. A fourteen day and a one-month long culture trial were conducted each with postlarvae and adults of F. chinensis in the biofloc, mixed water (50% biofloc:50% clear seawater) and seawater control. Immune-related genes mRNA expressions of postlarvae was analysed by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR). And the analysis of adult stage immunity was carried out using phenoloxidase (PO) enzyme activation in haemocyte. In the postlarvae, the final body weights were 51.43 and 58.47 mg for the biofloc water and the control seawater, respectively. On the other hand, the final body weights of the adults were significantly different between biofloc water and seawater. The survival rate showed the opposite trend to the growth rate. Immune related genes mRNA expression levels in the postlarvae in the biofloc water were significantly lower than those in the seawater. While, the adult stage showed significantly higher PO enzyme activations in the biofloc water than in the seawater with the PO enzyme activation increasing proportionally to the biofloc concentration. This result is considerably explained by the observations of setal morphological structures of the third maxilliped: postlarvae have short serrulated setae that compose the small 'net' structure while adults had long and dense plumose setae. It is understood that the morphological difference of the maxilliped structure resulted in the different feeding abilities in the postlarvae and the adult F. chinensis to use bioflocs as food source.
L $i_{0.5}$F $e_{2.5-{\chi}}$R $h_{\chi}$$O_4$ ($\chi$ = 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00) has been prepared by solid state reaction. Crystallographic and magnetic properties were investigated by Mossbauer spectroscopy, SQUID magnetometry, and x-ray diffraction. The crystal structure is found to be a cubic spinel structure with space group Fd3m for all the samples. The lattice constant $a_{0}$ increases from 8.3365 $\AA$ to 8.3932 $\AA$ with increasing Rh concentration $\chi$. The migration of Li ion has been confirmed by x-ray patterns and the results of applied field Mossbauer analysis. The temperature dependence of the absorption area of each site was analyzed with the Debye model for the recoil-free fraction. The Debye temperature for the octahedral sites is almost as large as for the tetrahedral sites, thereby suggesting similar inter-atomic binding forces for the octahedral and the tetrahedral sites. The saturated magnetic moment and the Mossbauer spectra taken at 4.2 K under the applied field (6 T) show that the spin structure of L $i_{0.5}$F $e_{2.5-{\chi}}$R $h_{\chi}$$O_4$ is compatible with the collinear Neel Model.
