  • This paper is an inquiry into the human sensibility on view from high-rise housing in a viewpoint of architectural environment design that pay attention to multi-family high-rise housing which is becomes a trend in recent years. And this paper is the fundamental approach for applying this result to later architectural environmental plan of multi-family high-rise housing. In this paper, we used repertory grid method as a cognitive psychological way of analysis and eye mark recorder measurement experiments as a physiological way of examination. In the conclusions, examined human sensibilities on views-focused on the analysis result of eye mark recorder measurement experiments through repertory grid method that are carried on the main subject-and described problems after this and possibilities in the same time.

  • In recent years, the concern about a user center design in increasing, and it's needed to task a user's visual cognitive characteristics for information presentation. Then this study aims to grasp user's cognitive characteristics about the information presentation by analyzing the fixation points. In the experiment, actually subject operated a copy machine. Recorded the fixation point movement of the operation panel by the eye mark recorder. Analysis examined the screen interface of the operation panel from the field of a fixation point trace. The top down type fixation oder by experience or the context became clear as a result. Furthermore, the difference of the fixation order by skill level was also examined. In this study, it was assumed that to grasp the visual cognitive characteristics becomes the key of efficient information.

도로교통에 있어서 운전자 주시특성분석과 그 적용성에 관한 연구 (Study on Analysis of Driver's Visual Characteristics in Road Traffic and its Applications)

  • The Subject of this research work is to study the driver's vision and eye-movement ch-aracteristics under the diffrent condiction of road traffic and driving. The analysis of this investigation was conducted spatially or temporaly into three parts'eye-mark distribution, viewing-time percentage and fixation duration. This dissertation focuses on analysis of dr-iver's visual characteristics to improve road circumstamces. In this study driver's ch-aracteristics are measured with eye-mark recorder and analyzed statistically The main features of this study are : 1st Duration distribution of fixation point is significant in 87% at 5% of the significant level in Gamma Distribution. The average of fixation duration by road are 0.33sec on streets 0.45sec on Roads and 0.86sec on highways. The average of fixation duration by visual objects are 0.4sec on road surface 0.26sec on road shoulder 0.49sec on traffic sign 0.37sec on warning sign and 0.67sex on gwide sign. 2st Moving anglrs of a fixation point are fit in the Exponential Distribution. The average moving angle is appeared to be 3.85。 on streets 2.81。 on roads 2.73。 on highway and 5 。 on intersecyion. 3st As a result of examining alignment of guide and warning sign in traffic signs cxisting foundation methods are less affected by lane than by apeed of a vehicle.

Implications for man-machine interface designing from the findings of basic laboratory experiments of human cognitives

  • Using eye mark recorder and polygraph, basic laboratory experiments have been conducted to investigate the validity of psycho-physiological measures to the analysis of on-line cognitive information characteristics at man-machine interface (MMI). It is concluded that various psycho-physiological measures are useful to estimate various aspects of human cognitive characteristics and thus to the evaluation of MMI designing from the viewpoint of its harmony to the human cognitives.

라인드로잉에 의한 디자인 조형의 표현성향 (A Propensity of Formative Presentation by Line Drawing)

  • 본 연구는 형태적 사고에 의한 드로잉 표현을 바탕으로 조형적 독창력의 측정과 평가에 대한 근거를 구축하기 위한 연구이다. 조형사고의 전개를 이해하기 위해 점으로 구성된 자극 화면에 의한 OTLD테스트와 EMR 궤적을 통하여 형태의 지각과 인지 과정을 연구하였다. 연구결과로서, 조형표현의 객관적 관점으로서 자극화면에 의한 라인드로잉의 연결성과 표현대상 개념의 복합성이 영향을 미치는 요인으로 추출되었다. 디자인 사고의 핵심으로 창조성은 독창성을 에워싸고 있는 상위개념이 된다. 여기에서는 그 하위개념인 독창성 테스트(OTLD)를 통하여 실험한 결과, 1차 연구 결과-일정기간 경과 후 유의 성을 가지고 희귀 성향을 보이고 있음-과 본 연구결과-연결성과 표현대상 개념의 복합성의 관련성-을 토대로 디자인 조형 력 측정의 기초 실험 모델로 설정이 가능하다고 본다. 금후 이에 대한 보완연구를 통하여 디자인 분야의 조형적 독창력 측정방법이 실용화도 가능할 것으로 사료된다.

도로교통에 있어서 운전자 주시특성분석 (Study on Analysis of Driver's Visual Characteristics in Road Traffic)

  • In road traffic, road circumstances, vehicle, and driver are closely related each other. When road facilities are established in road planning, only road structure has been considered. However, relatively little work has been done regarding the relation between road circumstances and human with respect to a driver. This dissertation focuses on analysis of driver's visual characteristics to improve road circumstances. In this study, driver's visual characteristics are measured with eye-mark recorder and analyzed statistically. This study includes that visual characteristics, visual range, visual time, distribution of fixation duration, and visual moving angle with respect to road circumstances are established qualitatively and quantitatively by driving testing vehicle on streets, roads and high-ways. The main features of this study are : The driver's visual ranges are different over 10% depending on lane in multi-lanes. The visual range on two-lanes is more than twice as big as that on multi-lanes at 85% of whole vision. The right and left visual ranges by as big as that on multi-lanes at 85% of whole vision. The right and left visual ranges by as big as that on multi-lanes at 85% of whole vision. The right and left visual ranges by as big as that on multi-lanes at 85% of whole vision. The right and left visual ranges by speed are $34^{\circ}$ for 30-50km/hr, $28^{\circ}$ for 50-70km/hr, $22^{\circ}$ for 70-90km/hr and 16^{\circ} for over 90km/hr at 95% of visual rate. Accordingly, increasing speed results in narrow visual range.

국도유출부 안전진단을 위한 시선유도시설의 유형별 기능검토 (A Study on Function of the Delineation System by Pattern for Safety Audit on Road Exit Ramp)

  • 현재 국도개량사업으로 국도의 이동성이 향상되었으나 유출부에 설치된 도로안전시설인 시선유도시설은 일관성 없이 설치되거나 미설치된 경우가 많다. 유출부의 시선유도시설은 유출부의 안전성을 높이는 시설임에도 불구하고 각 유출부마다 서로 다른 유형으로 설치되어 그 기능적 검토가 필요할 것으로 판단하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 현장조사를 통하여 조사된 시설유형별로 설치기준의 적합성을 검토한 후 운전자 인지특성을 고려한 효과적인 시설유형을 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 3D-시뮬레이션을 개발하여 보다 객관적인 비교실험을 수행하였다. 시설유형 간 비교변수는 운전자 인지특성을 대변할 수 있는 현저성, 시인성으로 선정하여 시설유형에 대한 각각의 특성실험을 수행하였으며 인지 특성변수로 채택된 시인성의 실험에 대한 피 실험자의 측정오차를 줄이기 위하여 초점기록계(Eye Marker Recorder)를 이용하여 실험함으로서 보다 정량적이고, 객관적인 주시빈도를 측정할 수 있었다. 각각의 측정 변수들에 대한 시설유형 간 유의성을 검증하기 위하여 분산 분석으로 검토하였다. 그 결과 현저성은 시설유형 간 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으며, 유출부를 인지하는데 안전표지, 장애물표적표지, 시선유도등, 시선유도봉이 설치된 시설유형이 가장 유리한 것으로 평가되었다. 또한 시인성의 효과척도로 주시빈도를 측정한 결과 시설유형 간 유의미한 차이를 알 수 있었으며, 현저성과 동일한 시설유형이 설치되었을 때 유출부를 인지하는데 유리한 것으로 평가되었으며 전체적인 결과를 종합하여 볼 때 안전표지, 장애물표적표지, 시선유도등, 시선유도봉의 시설이 가장 유리한 것임을 알 수 있었다.
