음식물쓰레기 세정산발효액을 외부탄소원으로 주입한 SBR 공정에서 질소 및 인 제거 (Nitrongen and Phosphorus Removal using Elutriated Acids of Food Waste as an External Carbon Source in SBR)

  • An improvement of nitrogen and phosphorus removal in SBR using the elutriated acids from the food waste as an external carbon source was investigated in this study. The food waste was elutriated at $35^{\circ}C$ and pH 9 to produce the external carbon source. The elutriate of food waste were continuously collected. The elutriated liquid contained VFAs of 39,180 mg/L representing soluble COD of 44,700 mg/L. The SBR showed poor denitrification and EBPR (enhanced biological phosphorus removal) without elutriated VFAs addition. An average denitrification rate was 0.4 mg NOx-N/g MLVSS/day. In turn, EBPR was also inhibited by this poor denitrification because the remaining nitrate in anaerobic phase resulting a poor denitrification. On the other hand, the denitrification in anoxic phase significantly improved with an elutriated VFAs addition. Nitrate removal was 82% while the denitrification rate was 2.9 mg NOx-N/g MLVSS/day with 18.4 mL/cycle of elutriated VFAs. With the enhanced denitrification, nitrate concentration in anaerobic phase could effectively be controlled to a very low level. The elimination of nitrate inhibition in anaerobic phase resulted enhancement of EBPR. The specific phosphate release rate was $1.9mg\;PO_4^{3-}-P/g\; MLVSS/day$ with less than 0.5 mg/L of $PO_4^{3-}-P$ concentration.

The External Benefits of Research and Development Investment in Waste-to-Energy Technology in Korea

  • The Korean government considers expanding the WtE share of total energy from 1% to 5% by 2020 through research and development (R&D) in waste-to-energy (WtE) technologies. This study attempts to measure the external benefits of investing in R&D in these technologies. To this end, a contingent valuation (CV) is employed. More specifically, a 2016 national survey of randomly selected 1,000 households was carried out across the nation to gauge the willingness to pay (WTP) for the investment. One-and-one-half-bounded dichotomous choice question was used in the CV survey, and the spike model was applied to dealing with zero WTP responses. The mean yearly WTP is estimated to be KRW 4,175 (USD 3.57) per household, which is statistically significant at the 1% level. Expanding the value to the entire nation translates into an investment of about KRW 79.1 billion (USD 67.6 million), which can be interpreted as the annual external benefit of the R&D investment in WtE technology.

기후변화 대응 건축물 기화냉각시스템 적용에 따른 외부 열환경 변화 연구 (Changes in the External Heat Environment of Building Evaporative Cooling Systems in Response to Climate Change)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate changes in the external thermal environment, following the application of evaporative cooling systems in buildings, in response to climate change. In order to verify changes in the external thermal environment, a T-test was performed on the microclimate, Thermal Comfort Index (TCI), and building surface temperature. Differences in microclimate, following the application of the evaporative cooling system in the building, were significant in terms of temperature and relative humidity. In particular, temperature decreased by more than 7% when the evaporative cooling system was applied. According to the results of the Thermal Comfort Index analysis, the Wet-Bulb Globe Temperature (WBGT) was below the limit of outdoor activities, indicating that outdoor activities were possible. The Universal Thermal Climate Index (UTCI) values were within the very strong heat stress range when the evaporative cooling system was not applied, When the system was applied, the UTCI values were within the strong heat stress range, indicating that they were lowered by one level. The building surface temperature decreased by ~10% or more when the evaporative cooling system was applied, compared to when it was not applied. Finally, the outside surface temperature of the building decreased by ~12% or more when the system was applied, compared to when it was not applied. We conclude that the energy saving effect of the building was significant.

엎드린 자세에서 고관절 신전 시 고관절 외회전 각도가 골반과 하지 근활성도에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Hip External Rotation Angle on Pelvis and Lower Limb Muscle Activity During Prone Hip Extension)

  • The aim of this study was to investigate the effect of hip external rotation angle on pelvis and lower limb muscle activity during prone hip extension. Sixteen healthy men were recruited for this study. Each subject performed an abdominal drawing-in maneuver (ADIM) in a prone position, and extended the dominant hip at three different hip external rotation angles ($0^{\circ}$, $20^{\circ}$, $40^{\circ}$) with a $30^{\circ}$ hip joint abduction. Activity of the gluteus maximus (G Max), gluteus medius (G Med), and hamstring (HAM) and the G Max/HAM and G Med/HAM ratios were determined with surface electromyography (EMG). The EMG signal was normalized to 100% maximum voluntary isometric contractions (MVICs) and expressed as %MVIC. Data were analyzed by one-way repeated analysis of variance (alpha level=.05) and the Bonferroni post hoc test. Significant differences in G Max and G Med muscle activity were noted among the three different hip external rotation angles. G Max muscle activity increased significantly at both $40^{\circ}$ (p=.006) and $20^{\circ}$ (p=.010) compared to a $0^{\circ}$ hip external rotation angle. G Med muscle activity increased significantly at $20^{\circ}$ (p=.013) compared to a $40^{\circ}$ hip external rotation angle. The G Max/HAM activity ratio increased significantly at both $40^{\circ}$ (p=.004) and $20^{\circ}$ (p=.014) compared to a $0^{\circ}$ hip external rotation angle. The G Med/HAM activity ratio increased significantly at $20^{\circ}$ (p=.013) compared to a $40^{\circ}$ hip external rotation angle. In conclusion, $40^{\circ}$ and $20^{\circ}$ hip external rotation angles are recommended to increase G Max activity, and $20^{\circ}$ hip external rotation is advocated to enhance G Med muscle activity during prone hip extension with ADIM and $30^{\circ}$ hip abduction in healthy subjects.

프랜차이즈 본사의 외부환경이 경영성과에 미치는 영향 -앙트러프러너십, 시장지향성, 및 조직구조의 매개변수를 중심으로- (Effects of External Environment of Franchisor on Corporate Performance -Focused on Entrepreneurship, Market Orientation and Organizational Structure-)

  • 선행연구들은 외식 프랜차이즈 환경에서 프랜차이저의 앙트러프러너 활동에 관한 프랜차이지의 지각을 거의 취급하고 있지 않고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 프랜차이지의 관점에서 프랜차이저의 외부환경, 앙트러프러너 전략, 기계-유기 조직, 및 경영성과와의 관계를 공변량구조분석을 통하여 분석하였다. 자료는 2009년 10월1일부터 2010년 2월 28일까지 전국의 외식 프랜차이지를 605명을 대상으로 설문조사를 수집하였다. 분석 결과에 의하면 외부환경은 앙트러프러너 전략에 정(+)의 영향을 주고, 앙트러프러너 전략은 다시 시장 지향성과 경영성과에 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이와 동시에 시장지향성은 유기적 조직을 채택하도록 만들었으며, 경영성과를 제고하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 외부환경은 유기적 조직을 채택하도록 유도하였으며, 경영성과를 악화시킨 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 시사점은 첫째, 프랜차이저가 적극성, 혁신성, 및 위험추구성을 어느 정도 가지고 있느냐에 따라서 프랜차이즈 조직은 만족할 만한 경영성과와 현대 기업들이 필수적으로 갖추어야 될 시장지향성을 보유하게 되며, 둘째, 프랜차이저들은 시장지향성을 구성하고 있는 고객지향성, 경쟁지향성, 부서간 조화, 장기성, 수익성을 염두에 두면서 시장점유율을 유지 및 성장시켜야 하고, 셋째, 외식환경이 최근 상당히 역동적으로 그리고 비우호적으로 변화하는 관계로 이것이 조직 구조를 개편하게 만들고, 또한 경영성과에 나쁜 영향을 미치고 있는 만큼 외부환경에 대한 긴밀한 탐사가 필요하다고 하겠다.

기후변화에 대응한 녹색건축인증기준 개선을 위한 조사연구: 공동주택 외부환경을 중심으로 (A Survey to Improve the Green Building Certifications Responding to Climate Change: Focused on the External Environment of Housing)

  • 본 연구는 기후변화에 대응하여 2013년 3월 시행된 녹색건축인증기준의 평가항목 및 실제 인증현황 분석을 통해 현행 인증기준의 개선방향 모색을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 최근 영국 BREEAM, 미국 LEED, 독일 DGNB, 일본 CASBEE 등 선진국의 녹색인증기준은 기후변화에 대응하여 BREEAM Communities, LEED Neighborhood Development, DGNB Stadtquartiere, CASBEE Urban Development로 건축물 중심에서 도시 지구 차원으로 확대하여 시범 운영하고 있다. 이에 반해 국내 인증기준은 건축물 중심의 평가체계로 실내환경 및 에너지 부문의 배점비율이 높고, 외부환경에 해당되는 토지이용 및 교통 부문과 생태환경 부문은 배점비율이 낮다. 실제 토지주택연구원에서 인증을 받은 공동주택 79개 단지에 대한 평가점수를 분석한 결과, 실내환경 및 에너지 등 배점이 높은 평가항목에 따라 인증등급이 결정되어 배점이 낮은 외부환경 부문의 평가항목은 실효성이 없는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 녹색건축인증기준이 기후변화 대응을 위한 실천수단으로 역할을 하기 위해서는 외부환경 부문의 평가체계를 보완하고, 나아가 국내 현실을 반영하여 도시 지구 차원의 평가체계 도입을 통해 국제적 인증기준에 부합하는 방향으로 개선해야 한다.

Calculation of Adequate Remodeling Period for The Improvement of Thermal Insulation Performance of External Walls in Deteriorated Apartments

  • Purpose: Under the purpose of presenting the adequate remodeling period for the improvement of thermal insulation performance of external walls in deteriorated buildings, the change in external wall and residential environment problem(dew condensation) due to aged deterioration after the apartments were constructed in Korea were analyzed. Method: Temperature Difference Ratio Outside(TDRo) and Heat Flow Meter(HFM) were used as measurement methods to evaluate the thermal insulation performance of deteriorated buildings. For TDR evaluation, thermo-graphic camera was used to measure and analyze the surface temperature of external wall. Also, dew condensation evaluation was analyzed using the Temperature Difference Ratio Inside(TDRi). Result: As a result of analyzing thermal performance through TDRo, the first decline point of thermal insulation performance began after 14-16 years have passed since construction was completed, and after 20 years have passed the decline point of thermal insulation performance reappeared. As a result of analyzing U-value with HFM measurement method, the decline rate of external wall's thermal insulation performance is lower than 2% in average at around 5 years after completion, and 8.7% in average at 10-15 years, and over 10.2% in average at 20 years.

온라인 쇼핑몰 기반의 전자상거래에서 외적 정보가 구매 의사결정 과정에 미치는 영향에 대한 실증적 연구 (The Study on the Effect of External Information on Purchase Decision-Making Process in Online Shopping Mall Based Electronic Commerce)

  • Development of information technology and Internet brought big changes in information society. Quantity of information increased rapidly and various types of information were presented through diverse channels. This change brought an impact in electronic commerce environment. A large number of products are transacted in online market. And various search functions and product information are presented for supporting customer's decision making. This study examined the effect of external information on purchase decision-making in electronic commerce environment. An experiment was conducted to see the customer product review, unit sales, etc. on purchase decision-making process in online shopping mall based electronic commerce. As a result of study, external information referring to number of purchasing, positive product review, and reliability of information has a positive effect on purchase-decision. The significance of the study can be found in that it defined 1) external information has an effect on decision-making, 2) positiveness and reliability of product information showed that they have an influence on customer, and 3) when self opinion and other person's opinion are different, one is not satisfied with decision making process. The results of the study can be of practical use in the design and implementation of online shopping mall in electronic commerce.

내장산국립공원내 서식하는 안주애기박쥐(Vespertilio sinensis)의 외부형태 및 채식지 환경특성 (External Morphology and Environment of Foraging Site in Asian parti-coloured Bat Vespertilio sinensis in Naejangsan National Park)

  • We have analyzed the external morphology and the environment of the foraging site of Vespertilio sinensis. The external morphology was analyzed by twelve parameters and the environment characteristics of the foraging site was analyzed using GIS 10.1 program. The wing membrane was inserted into the ankle of the hind foot and the wing ratio was 1.42, the middle type between broad-short wing type and long-narrow wing type. The fur color was blackish brown but the guard hair color was whitish. The shape of the ear was a rounded triangle and tragus was a fan shape. This study showed that V. sinensis preferred the deciduous forest of the upper forest zone, where human interference was less. We believed that abundance of insects, depending on water system, was closely related to the use of the foraging site. This result showed that the environment characteristics was very similar to the nature preservation zone including Baekyang valley and Keumsun valley in Naejangsan National Park.

  • 이 논문은 학교도서관의 체제 강화를 위한 마케팅 전략을 탐색하였다. 마케팅 환경 분석 전략에 따라 학교도서관 마케팅 환경을 외부 거시환경, 외부 미시환경, 내부 조직환경, 내부 운영환경으로 나누어 설명하였고 고객 세분화 전략에 다라 학교도서관의 목표 고객을 학교 경영자, 교사, 학생, 학부모와 지역사회로 나누어 각각의 성격과 마케팅 전략을 제시하였다. 그리고 학교도서관 마케팅을 위한 커뮤니케이션 전략으로 커뮤니케이션의 지향과 성격에 따라 관리적 커뮤니케이션, 행동적 커뮤니케이션, 협력적 커뮤니케이션, 사회적 커뮤니케이션으로 나누어 논의하였다.
