This paper is an attempt to understand the external technology acquisition (ETA) process of the machinery SME sector in Bangalore city, India. With the onset of economic liberalization, Bangalore based machinery SMEs have significantly shifted their ETAs from India to abroad, particularly Germany and Japan, among others. The primary objective of ETAs is to enhance their competitiveness by means of improving product quality and productivity as well as meeting customer demand. Replacing outdated machinery or overcoming technological obsolescence is a primary objective of only a few. As a result, majority of the SMEs has gone for multiple ETAs since their inception and we found a statistically significant positive correlation between firm age and number of ETAs. The present study has made two empirical contributions: (i) We have thrown light on the core technology up-gradation issue - How do SMEs approach the problem of external technology acquisition in the current globalization era? (ii) We are able to identify and develop a map of ETA process based on the "learning and experiences" of these SMEs.

In this empirical study, we try to find major factors influencing the selection of technology acquisition strategy, and to examine the relation between technology acquisition strategies and corporate performances. The results of this study are as follows. Firstly, it is required to make intrinsic efforts for the harmony of technology acquisition strategies, which guarantees the effective acquirement of new technology. Secondly, we should pay particular attention to the harmony of external and internal resources for the corporate growth, Finally, the development of new technology is to be made on the basis of technology acquisition strategy established in terms of resources.

본 연구는 기업의 자체 연구개발 활동과 외부 기술획득이 대체관계인지 보완관계인지를 실증적으로 검증하고자 한다. 구체적으로, 2002년 한국의 제조업을 대상으로 조사된 기술혁신조사를 바탕으로 구축된 자료를 사용하고, 준구조적(semi-structural) 실증분석모형의 개발하였다 . 이 모형을 헤크만(Heckman)의 2단계 추정방법으로 실증 분석한 결과, 기업의 연구개발 활동과 기술획득은 보완관계를 갖고 있으며, 기업의 연구개발에 영향을 마치는 여러 요인들 중 정부의 연구개발 지원 정책과 대기업 계열사 여부가 긍정적인 영향을 보이며, 기술획득에는 실패한 프로젝트의 존재가 중요한 요인으로 추정되었다.

본 연구의 목적은 개방형 정보 혁신을 기술 흡수형 혁신과 기술 활용형 혁신으로 나누어 전략적 제휴 요인과 통합하여 수출성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하는데 있다. 본 연구는 구조방정식모형의 PLS(Partial Least Square)를 사용하여 개방형정보 혁신과 전략적 제휴, 수출성과의 관계에서 조직문화의 조절효과를 설정한 6개의 가설을 201개 표본으로 실증분석 했다. 분석 결과 개방형 정보 혁신 중 기술 흡수형 혁신은 전략적 제휴에 영향을 미치지 못했다. 반면 기술활용형 혁신은 전략적 제휴에 긍정적 영향을 주었다. 전략적 제휴는 또한 수출성과에 긍정적 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 조절효과 분석 결과 조직문화와 기술 흡수형 혁신의 상호작용은 전략적 제휴에 긍정적 영향을 주었다. 또한, 조직문화와 기술 활용형 혁신의 조절효과도 전략적 제휴에 유의한 영향을 보였다. 그러나 조직문화와 전략적 제휴의 조절효과는 수출성과에 영향을 미치지 못하였다. 본 연구는 조직문화의 조절효과를 분석한 점에서 기여도가 있다. 향후에는 개방형 정보 혁신과 외부요인의 통합분석이 필요하다.

본 논문은 무인비행장치에 탑재된 카메라를 통해 획득한 고화질의 이미지를 무인비행장치 상에서 전처리를 하여 이동통신망을 통해 서버로 전송하기 위한 시스템 및 기법에 관한 것이다. 기존의 이미지 획득 서비스용 무인비행장치의 경우, 무인비행장치에 탑재된 카메라의 외부저장장치에 획득한 이미지를 저장하고, 비행이 완료된 이후에 저장장치를 직접 옮기는 방식으로 이미지를 확인하였다. 이러한 방식의 경우, 외부저장장치를 통해 직접적으로 이미지 데이터를 확인하기 전에는 이미지 획득이나 전처리가 제대로 수행되었는지 확인할 수 없다는 한계점이 존재한다. 또한 해당 데이터는 외부저장장치에만 저장되기 때문에 데이터의 공유가 번거롭다는 단점이 존재한다. 본 논문에서는 위와 같은 문제점을 해결하기 위하여, 원격에서 이미지를 실시간으로 확인 가능한 시스템을 제안한다. 더 나아가, 무인비행장치에서의 촬영을 통한 이미지 획득 외에 지오태깅과 같은 전처리와 이동통신망을 통한 전송까지 수행이 가능한 시스템 및 방법을 제안한다.

The design of Graphic Information System(GIS) in various applications is suffering from the difficulty of data acquisition, which is labor-intensive and time consuming. In order to provide the spatial data rapidly and accurately, 4S-Van, a prototype mobile mapping system, has been developed. The 4S-Van consists of 1)Global Positioning System(GPS), Inertial Navigation System(INS) for estimating the geographic position and attitude of the moving van, i.e.,(x, y, z) and the direction of the Van, 2) Charge Coupled Device(CCD) camera and laser scanner for capturing images and for measuring depth from geographic objects, and 3) External Synchronization Device(ESD) and industrial PC for synchronizing data from GPS/INS/CCD camera and for storing the data. In this paper, we present the design and implementation of the proto-Dpe 4S-Van system for spatial data acquisition for various GIS applications.

The objectives of this research paper are to identify the types of the firm's new product development strategy and their characteristics about business strategy, to examine the effect of each type on new product outcomes, and to explore the contingency variable influencing the relationship between these types and new product outcomes. The result of the research are summarized as follows : First, in terms of both the resource allocation for product innovativeness and technology acquisition method, this study suggests 9 types of the firm's new product development strategies- Type 1 (pursuing low innovative products/relying on external technology), Type 2 (pursuing low innovative products oriented/relying on internal technology), Type 3 (pursuing low innovative products/relying on mixed technology), Type 4 (pursuing high innovative products/relying on internal technology), Type 6(pursuing high innovative products /relying on mixed technology), Type 7 (balancing low and high innovative products/relying on external technology), Type 8 (balancing low and high innovative products/relying on internal technology), Type 9 (balancing low and high innovative products/relying on mixed technology). Second, these 9 types are deeply associated with the firm's business strategic variables such as product differentiation and market differentiation, and exhibit different level of both technical and commercial performance of new products. Finally, the effects of these types on new product outcomes are different according to industrial environment and firms' characteristics with respect to size and technological capability.

Currently, partial discharge diagnosis in the field of prevention applied technology and diagnostic equipment is a possible strong limit to remove the noise generated by external or internal I still have one unreliable diagnosis. This technology is the noise removal from signal the time lag analysis algorithms technique is applied by a fundamental. Increasing the reliability in terms of technology spectrum frequence of analysis method for by applying the acquisition through the position of the frequency content and sources of traffic lights partial discharge of the acquisition of signal analysis to judge whether a way diagnosis the environment of the scene, and conditions. Partial discharge signal and make the discharge while building blocks were found through the Analysis. Spectrum frequence of Analysis and wide discharge part, to be more precise, in line with the various functions, including the analysis technique band. Diagnosis and comes up with advanced technology that can detect the presence of a position. This method is portable single device developed for maintenance and mobility and ease and convenience of getting caught by discharge of the pattern analysis and position detection method suitable for a new diagnosis will suggest.

컴퓨터와 통신기술(通信技術)의 발발로 인하여 정보는 전문화(專門化), 다양화(多樣化), 종합화(綜合化), 다량화(多量化)되고, 한편 중소기업(中小企業)의 정보화(情報化)가 활성화되면서 모든 자원(資源)이 취약한 중소기업(中小企業)은 정보(情報)를 보다 효율적으로 활용할 수 있는 방안을 모색하게 되었다. 따라서 본고에서는 내부정보(內部情報)와 외부정보(外部情報)의 수집원(蒐集源)과 수집방법(蒐集方法)을 제시하였고, 정보(情報)의 평가(評價), 분석(分析), 활용(活用) 방법(方法), 이용시(利用時)의 유의사항 등을 열거하였으며, 적합정보(適合情報)의 요건과 정보의 최적활용(最適活用), 중소기업(中小企業)의 정보화(情報化) 추진방안(推進方案)에 관하여 기술하였다.

As the cumulative amount of spent fuel increases, the reliable and effective management of the spent fuel has become a world-wide mission. For this mission, KAERI is developing the Advanced Spent Fuel Conditioning Process (ACP) as a pre-disposal treatment process for spent fuel. Conventional approach to the development of the process and the remote operation technology is to fabricate the process equipment on the same scale as the real environment and demonstrate the remote handling operation using simulated fuel called a mock-up test. But this mock-up test is expensive and time consuming, since the design may need to be modified and the equipment fabricated again to account for the problems found during a testing. To deal with this problem, we developed a digital mockup for the ACP. Also, for an effective utilization of the digital mockup, we developed user interface modules such as the data acquisition and display module and the external input device interface module. The result of this implementation shows that a continuous motion of the manipulator using the external device interface can be represented easily and the information display screens responded well to the simulation situation.
