In this paper, a remote submersion warning system based on multi-mode optical fiber(MMF) sensors and a wireless sensor network(WSN) are proposed. To improve the reliability and stability of the sensors, the dual optical fiber sensors combined to the optical coupler are demonstrated. A slave zigbee as a wireless sensor module was used as a platform to monitor and record the signal from the MMF sensors and then transmits these information to a master zigbee wirelessly. The monitoring system running the $LabVIEW^{(R)}$ software was connected to the internet to support the short message service(SMS) through extensible markup language(XML) web service. No matter where the managers are, they can always receive the real-time remote-monitoring data for safety check.

Location-based services or LBS refer to value-added service by processing information utilizing mobile user location. With the rapidly increasing wireless Internet subscribers and world LBS market, the various location based applications are introduced such as buddy finder, proximity and security services. As the killer application of the wireless Internet, the LBS have reconsidered technology about location determination technology, LBS middleware server for various application, and diverse contents processing technology. However, there are fears that this new wealth of personal location information will lead to new security risks, to the invasion of the privacy of people and organizations. This paper describes a novel security approach on open LBS service to validate certificate based on current LBS platform environment using XKMS (XML Key Management Specification) and SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language), XACML (extensible Access Control Markup Language) in XML security mechanism.

의료 정보 시스템은 많은 지식과 의료 인력과의 연계가 필요하기 때문에, 멀티 에이전트 시스템의 활용 영역으로 적합하다. 본 논문에서는 지능형 의료 정보 제공을 위한 멀티 에이전트 시스템인 MAMI(Multi-Agent system for Medical Image)의 에이전트 플랫폼의 설계 및 구현 대해 기술한다. MAMI는 여러 의료 정보 중 의료 영상을 위한 멀티 에이전트 시스템이다. MAMI의 가장 중요한 구성 요소로서는 에이전트 플랫폼을 들 수 있다. 에이전트 플랫폼은 에이전트들이 동작할 수 있는 물리적 기반을 제공해 준다. MAMI는 FIPA(foundation for Intelligent Physical Agent)가 제안하는 관리 모델을 따르고 있다. MAMI에서는 COM(Common Object Model)과 XML(Extensible Markup Language)로 인코딩된 ACL(Agent Communication Language)을 메시지 교환에 이용하고 있다. 의료 영역의 특성상 의사와 같은 의료 전문 인력과의 연계는 반드시 필요하다. MAMI는 이를 위해서 의료 인력을 하나의 에이전트로 개념화하여 시스템에 연결한다. MAMI의 에이전트 플랫폼은 소프트웨어 에이전트와 휴먼 에이전트들이 지식을 공유하기에 적합한 물리적 기반을 제 공해주어 지능형 의료 정보 서비스를 용이하게 해준다.

As major industries become information -centered, business transactions and information -sharing processes are being computerized and automated, which ultimately re-defines electronic commercial transactions in a broader context. Business documents are the basic tools for corporate transactions. The use of business documents in electronic commercial transactions has increased markedly and this sphere is rapidly being extended to include information sharing between companies. XML(extensible Markup Language) was selected as the focus for this thesis. XML can help to make a complicated and data-rich document easy to share. The thesis proposes a business XML document editing system, comprised of a style document editor for business XM document structure, business documentation, and business document presentation, along with a business document transformation system which makes a transformation possible regardless of platform or using various corporate document standards.

With the various usage of civil drones, such as hobby, filmmaking and surveillance, the need for technology that safely reconstructs software for target application domains has been increasingly rising. In order to support a reliable software integration of avionic systems, the ARINC 653 standard has been proposed and adapted mainly on manned aircrafts. Therefore, applying ARINC 653 on civil drones could be desirable. Though, various researches on implementing ARINC 653 has been conducted, there are still additional requirements to apply ARINC 653 to civil drones that use various platforms and have a wide range of use. In this paper, taking account of these requirements, we implement a portable and extensible ARINC 653 and analyze its performance. We offer the portability with the OS abstraction layer that reduces dependency on a specific operating system, and provide the design that can extend internal functions, such as partition scheduler and process scheduler.

XML/EDI is different from traditional EDI because it offers the framework necessary for electronic commerce and extends the scope of the traditional EDI which focuses on data transfer. Since existing EDI services are moved to Internet platform and again to Web platform, users can use EDI in the integrated environment without inconvenience of using different EDI softwares, which have their own configurations. This paper describes the overall design and implementation of a Web-based XML/EDI system that is a core component for the electronic commerce. The constructed XML/EDI system in this paper is comprised of document generation module, document storage module, document search module, document management module, template document management module and e-mail transmission module. Requirements and design goal of XML/EDI system are introduced, detailed functionalities of modules and design facts are described and execution and execution procedures of the implemented system are explained.

Developing countries and small local governments face financial constraints, limiting the adoption of their own bus information systems. However, despite poor social infrastructure and low income levels, developing countries have a high smartphone penetration rate, and the distribution and usage of online content and social media are widespread. Smartphones, equipped with GPS sensors, cameras, and other location-based information collection capabilities, can replace expensive on-site terminals. This study aims to replace expensive on-site terminals with smartphones, develop a center system based on cloud servers, and establish an extensible Open BIS (Bus Information System) service and platform that can be applied anywhere. The goal is to formulate a business model in the process.

This paper proposes a real-time face detection and tracking a method in complex backgrounds. The proposed method is based on the principal component analysis (PCA) technique. For the detection of a face, first, we use a skin color model and motion information. And then using the PCA technique the detected regions are verified to determine which region is indeed the face. The tracking of a face is based on the Euclidian distance in eigenspace between the previously tracked face and the newly detected faces. Camera control for the face tracking is done in such a way that the detected face region is kept on the center of the screen by controlling the pan/tilt platform. The proposed method is extensible to other systems such as teleconferencing system, intruder inspection system, and so on.

A service broker supporting customers plays an important role in internet marketplaces. Recently. several intelligent brothers have been developed for electronic commerce, outline shopping mall, and electronic marketplaces. While these systems provide interesting shopping experiences, they fall short in fully exploiting the capabilities, such as the service integration and automatic execution required by internet market places. In this respect, we propose a workflow-based service broker system. Dependent services in our approach are modeled as workflow processes, which are automatical1y processed by a workflow engine. In the proposed system all data exchanges are realized through XML providing platform independent, extensible, open. and interoperable architecture.
