While demands for express service are rapidly increasing according to recent progress of electronic commerce, express service companies are struggling to take a larger delivery service market share through ongoing improvement in their service processes. Extension of cut-off time for express service centers can provide the express company with increase of total sales, but it may also cause to increase the possibility not to satisfy customer needs due to work delay in the consolidation terminal. Therefore, compromised decision for cut-off time of each service center should be made by taking operation characteristics of the consolidation terminal into account. This study suggests an approach for determining the cut-off time for express service centers according to operational characteristics of the consolidation terminal with the objective of maximizing expected incremental sales. The problem defined in this study can be represented as two successive models; one is an integer programing model in which the best cut-off time for each sales center are determined, and the other is a single machine scheduling model in which a working schedule in the consolidation terminal is obtained. A genetic algorithm is developed to solve the two models simultaneously. Finally, an example problem is carried out to verify applicability and performance of the algorithm with the data set collected from an express company.

The PCI Express spec introduces retry buffer in Data Link Layer For data integrity. But this buffer have some restrictions as buffer's usage. So we proposed effective management for retry buffer on PCI-Express interface. Proposed buffer management give increase performance and data integrity simultaneously.

Crashworthy design of a train is a systematic approach to ensure the safety of passengers and crews in railway transportation for the prescribed accident scenarios. This approach needs new structural arrangements and designs to absorb higher levels of impact energy in a controlled manner and interior designs to minimize passenger injuries. In this paper, an evaluation method for crashworthiness of Korean tilting train express is introduced. Crush characteristics for each part of tilting train express are evaluated numerically through 3-dimensional shell element analysis with LS-DYNA. Based on a head-on collision and a level crossing collision scenarios, the crash behaviors of tilting train express are evaluated numerically using full-rake collision simulations.

New high-speed rail service, the Korea Train Express(KTX), has been beginning service in Korea. We measured the service quality of the Korea Train Express and comparatively analyzed the service quality of domestic flight and express buses which are means of long distance transportation. Furthermore, by using the Kano model, the perception level of the service of customers is not only segmented in groups but also switching barriers are derived. As a result, the customers by group have a difference in the level of their perception. While in both high-speed bullet train service and flights dimensions significantly affect the customer satisfaction and retention excluding a responsiveness dimension, in the Train Express four dimensions(Reliability, Responsiveness, Assurance, Tangibles) with the exception of Empathy which significantly affect the customer satisfaction and retention.

The wonderful new world of shopping - being able to order items you need by just one click. However, there is one factor that has not changed at all - customers, whether they are private individuals or public companies, want to have the product delivered to their address, and usually as fast as possible too. To achieve this, the operators of virtual shops must make use of a fully operational and efficient delivery service. The internet and its potential for creating a virtual market for millions of buyers and sellers, has generated a lot of excitement in the express delivery industry. Clearly e-commerce will cause greater growth in the business-to-residential package market. Korean express delivery industry is not an exception to this trend. Currently, while major three service providers enjoy a lion's share in Korea, a lot of small and medium companies are struggling to capture more shipments in express parcel market. Nevertheless, it will be forecasted that Korean parcel market will be consolidated and become an oligopoly market in the near future.

Today's and tomorrow's processors and I/O devices are demanding much higher I/O bandwidth than PCI 2.3 or PCI-X can deliver and it is time to engineer a new generation of PCI to serve as a standard I/O bus for future generation platforms. According to this demand the PCI SIG proposed PCI Express. This paper describes about the design of PCI Express Behavioral Model. A Behavioral Model enables the designers to test whether the design specifications are met by performing computer simulations rather than experiments on the physical prototype. In the proposed Model, we can verify whether our design concept satisfies the PCI Express functional protocol.

As the opening of Korea Railroad Express on April 1, 2004, it has extended the transportation capacity of railroad, and decreased the time and moving cost. Railroad Express is industry composed of transportation, advanced technology, and grand project for synthetic plan. Hence, here now, as the anniversary of Railroad Express, we should analyze the overall effect of Korean Economy by KTX. relationship with other industry, social and cultural change. That is the key point what is the change during the year and how we catch the chance to develope the Korea Railroad for the national economy. The KTX has overcome the speed which the traditional railroad not been. But the Express has a weakness in searching of customer or goods. KTX is helped by electronics and telecommunications. so we need to find new industry in relation to KTX. And we should have open mind and vision for international railroad.

In this paper, a verification method and model for a PCI-Express device are described. PCI-Express technology is one of new I/O interconnection technologies which is intended to replace conventional PCI based technology, and is introduced by PCI-SIG in 2002. For a fast prototyping, a verification suite which includes a behavioral model and stimuli is needed before actual design is finished. And also it should be simple in structure and accurate enough to verify the design. In this paper, an Early Verification Suite (EVS) which complies with PCI-Express protocol is developed and tested.

The object of this study was to find out the influence of juvenile self-consciousness on the importance of unit 'clothing and self-express' in technology home economics curriculum and appearance management behavior. Questionnaires were administered to 244 middle school students living in Deagu metropolitan City. Frequency, factor analysis, reliability analysis, regression analysis, and ${\chi}^2-test$ were used for data analysis. Our findings are as follows. Self-consciousness had factors as privately and socially self-consciousness and social anxiety. The factors of the importance of unit 'Clothing and self-express' were clothing, self-express and excellence in traditional clothing. Appearance management behavior had factors as appearance management, plastic surgery interest, diet importance, health focus and eating habit. Self-consciousness was found to have significant effects on the factors of the importance of unit 'Clothing and self-express', and self-consciousness on factors of appearance management behavior. The differences by gender of middle students was examined in clothing and textile interest, clothing and textile unit interest and knowledge acquisition route.

This paper deals with a construction plan of hydrogen fueling stations on express highways using geographic information system. We analyzed the existing hydrogen fueling stations and production facilities to construct the hydrogen supply system to satisfy the hydrogen demands. Also, we suggested the necessary number and locations of hydrogen fueling stations on express highways for operating fuel cell vehicles. As a result, we need to construct at least 6 hydrogen stations on express highways in 2020 and 14 hydrogen stations in 2025. In 2030, when fuel cell vehicles are expected to spread over the whole nation, 114 hydrogen stations are needed to construct on express highways. This study mainly utilized the information of distances between hydrogen production facilities and fueling stations. However, we need to analyze the other factors such as traffic and income data. Also, it is necessary to make a suitable construction plan of hydrogen fueling stations that should be constructed on each district using geographic information system.
