This study was intended to determine PCK of the middle school science teachers on Mendelian genetics and factors influenced to form their PCKs. Two science teachers with biology major with a teaching experience over 5 years were chosen as the subject. Data were collected by class observation, semi-structured interview, teacher questionnaire survey, Content Representation and Pedagogical and Professional-experience Repertoire. The collected data were analyzed based on Magnusson's PCK for science teaching consisting of five components: (a) the orientation toward teaching science, (b) the knowledge of science curriculum, (c) the knowledge of students' understanding, (d) the knowledge of assessment, and (e) the knowledge and belief in the instructional strategies to teach science. Teachers could have the orientation toward teaching science served as an assisting role to support students' abilities. Both subject teachers seemed to focus on giving lectures. Their efforts to improve students' exploration methods and abilities were not expressed enough in their real classes and they found that students struggled to understand Mendelian genetics. Therefore, they should have explained them in an easier way and worked harder to make their students understood accurately and applied basic and advanced concepts of Mendelian genetics. They found students' preconception and misconception regarding Mendelian genetics and wished to enhance their learning effects by various teaching strategies such as correcting misconception, adding the history of science and simply assessing students' affirmative domains. It was also found that factors influenced to form PCK regarding Mendelian genetics by both teachers were as follows: teacher's personality and endeavor, textbooks and guidance books, schools and their circumstances, teaching experience, experience as a learner, interaction with their colleagues, and university curriculum. Both teachers said that it was important for teachers to make every efforts to give better classes.
In accordance with the rapidly changing social environment, it is becoming more important to cultivate creative and convergent practical talents with flexible thinking skills and problem-solving skills. Therefore, it is necessary for universities to provide educational experiences that enable students to cooperate and converge multidisciplinaryly to carry out on-the-job projects based on what they have learned at school. Therefore, this study designed, developed, and operated with the aim of cultivating creative talents with integrated problem-solving ability through a multidisciplinary capstone design curriculum based on industry-academia cooperation. To this end, the curriculum was developed together by recruiting participating companies and forming a convergence professor team, and it was operated for 15 weeks for students majoring in cosmetics engineering at D University. After the education was over, learning satisfaction and perceived academic achievement were surveyed, and as a result of the analysis, it was found to be above average with 3.77 points and 3.86 points, respectively. And as a result of the in-depth interview on the participation experience, five themes related to the positive experience and three themes related to the negative experience were derived. This study will be able to provide basic data when operating a multidisciplinary convergence capstone design curriculum based on industry-academia cooperation in the future.

This study aims to investigate how flipped learning-based socioscientific issue instruction (FL-SSI instruction) affected middle school students' key competencies and character development. Traditional classrooms are constrained in terms of time and resources for exploring the issues and making decision on SSI. To address these concerns, we designed and implemented an SSI instruction adopting flipped learning. Seventy-three 8th graders participated in an SSI program on four topics for over 12 class periods. Two questionnaires were used as a main data source to measure students' key competencies and character development before and after the SSI instruction. In addition, student responses and shared experience from focus group interviews after the instruction were collected and analyzed. The results indicate that the students significantly improved their key competencies and experienced character development after the SSI instruction. The students presented statistically significant improvement in the key competencies (i.e., collaboration, information and technology, critical thinking and problem-solving, and communication skills) and in two out of three factors in character and values as global citizens (social and moral compassion, and socio-scientific accountability). Interview data supports the quantitative results indicating that SSI instruction with a flipped learning strategy provided students in-depth and rich learning opportunities. The students responded that watching web-based videos prior to class enabled them to deeply understand the issue and actively engage in discussion and debate once class began. Furthermore, the resulting gains in available class time deriving from a flipped learning approach allowed the students to examine the issue from diverse perspectives.

The main purpose of the study is to identify the key aspects of the formation of legal and professional competence of students of higher educational institutions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. The modern system of public relations tightens the requirements for the professional and legal competence of specialists in all spheres of life. The development of a unified nationwide strategy in the field of education focused on the formation and development of young people's skills for life in the information society, is aimed at finding ways to form an active position of a future specialist, developing an experience of a holistic understanding of the professional activity, systemic action in solving new problems and tasks. The methodology includes a number of theoretical methods. Based on the results of the study, the main elements of the formation of legal and professional competence of students of higher educational institutions in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Treatment chart(醫案) is a document that doctors have described about their own practice. Western doctor's chart has a prescribed form, but otherwise chart of oriental medicine is a free form. As It has no prescribed form, doctors of oriental medicine have recorded important facts that they think especially. For example, details are patient's name, age, sex and address, the name of disease, state of pulse and tongue, state of secretions(stools, urine, perspiration, etc.), color of face, state of sleep and thirst, diagnosis, prescription, improvement of herb, teaching, and so forth. If we study on chart of oriental medicine, we draw a lesson about practices of a famous doctors. Through that we can increase ability of diagnosis and adaptation to circumstance, make ourselves familiar with use of past prescriptions and way of changing prescription, and learn narrative story of past doctors' personal experience, their though and teaching. As chart of oriental medicine had many methods to take a measure to meet the false situation, we can learn that. Through chart of oriental medicine, we can improve our practice of oriental medicine.
Intuition is an abstract concept which is most often thought of as a nonrational, nonscientific mode of thought. However, since there are so many amorphous definitions of intuition that it seems important to clarify the meaning of this concept. Therefore, this study use the process of Walker & Avant’s concept analysis to define of the concept of intuition Attributes of intuition were defined as 1) Knowledge of truth that is difficult to explicate ; 2) A type of immediate knowing ; 3) Knowlwdge without reasining analysis ; 4) Knowledge that is attained based on virtue character which integrates all matter and is not attained through individual experience. Antecedents of intuition consists of 1) as ground for knowledge or truth that is not availables to trace through the analytic procedures ; & 2) the flow of Ki which unites human beings and the universe. Consequences of intuition events or incidents occuring as a result of the concept consist of verification of the truth though analytic procedures and application of knowledge in both theoretical and practical ways. To develop intuitive ability, as an educator should not only make studies in recognizine, analysing and teaching concepts related to logical, rational decision making but should also recognize and teach concepts related to intuitive components of making decisions in clinical practice and classroom learning as well.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop clinical education of Oriental Nursing. Methods: The subjects were one hundred and ninety-three students who have completed clinical practice. The questionnaires were composed of experience type and Oriental Nursing practices(25 items), level of satisfaction(20 items), difficulty level of practices(6 items), and preparation level of practice instructor(5 items). The reliability were Chronbach's $\alpha$=.84, .86, .74, and .93 respectively. Frequencies, percentage, t-test, and Pearson's Correlation was used in data analysis using SPSS PC+ 11.0. Results: Nursing students recognized that they had difficulties caused by a lack of knowledge of Oriental medicine, of learning the uniqueness of the nurse's role and lack of nurse's enthusiasm in teaching students. However, they were confident in preparing acupuncture and implementing Moxibustion, large Moxibustion, Bu-Hang therapy, aroma therapy and on administration of medicines and control of temperature of the medicines, exercise and rehabilitation. Therefore, instructors should train nursing students by developing a unique Oriental Nursing practice and reinforcement of nurses' independent and cooperative roles through the acquisition of Oriental Medical knowledge and terminology. It is necessary that they develop an educational program based on Oriental Nursing practice, perform consistently within the program and train its teaching faculty and instructors.
The purpose of this study was to identify relationship between Health Locus of Control and Health Promoting Behavior. The subjects of the study were 333 college women at D University in Seoul. The tools used for this study were Health Locus of Control developed Wallston et al(1978) (by modified Lee, 1994), Health Promoting Behavior Scale developed by Walker et al(1987) were modified by researcher. The descriptive-correlational study were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, Stepwise Multiple Regression using SPSS/PC+ program. The results were as follows : 1. Hypotheses 1 that higher the score of internal health locus of control, the higher the score of the level of health promoting behavior was supported(r=.4951, p<.001). Hypotheses 2 that the higher the score of chance health locus of control, the lower the score of the level of health promoting behavior was supported(r=-.3383, p<.001). 2. By means of multiple regression analysis, health locus of control provided explained 24.5% of health promoting behavior. 3. General Characteristic variables significantly related to the health promoting behavior were a major field of study, experience in learning health education.

The number of hidden neurons of the feed-forward neural networks is generally decided on the basis of experience. The method usually results in the lack or redundancy of hidden neurons, and causes the shortage of capacity for storing information of learning overmuch. This research proposes a new method for optimizing the number of hidden neurons bases on information entropy, Firstly, an initial neural network with enough hidden neurons should be trained by a set of training samples. Second, the activation values of hidden neurons should be calculated by inputting the training samples that can be identified correctly by the trained neural network. Third, all kinds of partitions should be tried and its information gain should be calculated, and then a decision-tree correctly dividing the whole sample space can be constructed. Finally, the important and related hidden neurons that are included in the tree can be found by searching the whole tree, and other redundant hidden neurons can be deleted. Thus, the number of hidden neurons can be decided. In the case of building a neural network with the best number of hidden units for tea quality evaluation, the proposed method is applied. And the result shows that the method is effective
This study aimed at developing parent education program for family leisure for parents of adolescent children to enable them to pursue happy lives as healthy families with adequate balance of cohesiveness and adaptability and smooth communication between the members of their families after parent education for family leisure. Research procedure of parent education program for family leisure proceeded with establishment of theory and requirement survey through precedent research, design of program, practice of program, evaluation of program and suggestion of revised program model after evaluation. On the basis of evaluation results, parent education program for family leisure aiming at parents of adolescent children can conclusively be revised as follows. The first session aims at understanding of family leisure; the second session aims at improvement of learning effect through education & experience-oriented activities; the third session aims at understanding and paying regard to their children through hobby-oriented activities; the fourth session aims at improvement of social relations through society-oriented activities; the fifth session aims at helping children education through check of communication in family-oriented activities and home-visiting education for etiquette; and the sixth session, the final session, aims at providing information and knowledge on family leisure and letting them gain better understanding of adolescent children.
