The main purpose of this study is to empirically investigate determinants affecting MICE quality, which then affects to loyalty. In particular, this study focuses on variables in the exhibition and event experiences of the MICE participants. The proposed research includes four variables representing the exhibitions and event experiences (affective, intellectual, behavioral, relational experience), two MICE qualities (commitment, satisfaction), and MICE loyalty. The results of this study reveal that four proposed variables (affective, intellectual, behavioral and relational experience) have a positive impact on two MICE qualities (commitment and satisfaction). Furthermore, the study found that commitment and satisfaction positively influence MICE loyalty. The findings of the study would provide theoretical and practical implications of exhibition and event experiences, quality and loyalty of MICE.
The purposes of this study were to analyze the effects of a marine leisure exhibition event(MLEE)'s appraisal attributes on visitors' satisfaction and rep-visit intention and thus provide fundamental information that facilitates developing effective marketing and operational strategies for a MLEE. In order to accomplish such purposes, this study employed a survey with a total of 300 visitors to a MLEE hosted by G Province. Questionnaires were developed on the basis of related studies and modified to reflect the study context. Then, such questionnaires were verified to be valid and reliable through content validity, factor analysis and internal consistency analysis. Valid 286 questionnaires were analyzed with correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis on significance level of .05. Following findings were derived from current study. First of all, the appraisal attributes of a MLEE had a significant effect on visitors' satisfaction and among them only the factor of event program had a unique relation with the levels of satisfaction. In addition, the appraisal attributes of the MLEE also had a significant effect on visitors' rep-visit intention behavior and among them event program, transportation and employee factors had unique relations with the performance variable in order. In conclusion, all the research hypotheses that had been set up through previous studies were confirmed in this study.
The World exposition is considered as a great event to promote the cultural exchanges of their own urbanism and share the technological developments among the various countries across the all over the world. So many countries in the world desired to host and take part in the EXPO, so far only few countries have had the chance to hold the event and show their uniqueness of urban culture, but we might say the past exhibition as those for display and publication of matters of science, technology and trade, now we must say expositions of the 21th century has come under variations on cultural and informational interchange and humanism from the global issue and problem. What makes possible to maximize the effort of reciprocal communication between people and the public can be the EXPO event as a means of the public information of the theme and this kind of event should suggest the public a message of the topic, message, image and even more the EXPO spirits and theme as an international event gives as much considerably spreading effect as its big scale. In that aspect, the pavilion for the exhibition of EXPO and public information should be recognized as a place for smoothly forming the activities of reciprocal communication between the society and the public, with such a aspect this study, as its purpose of improving as well as communication, concerns the process in projecting the space paradigm of pavilion in the EXPO and public message and information as a means of the communication of the global theme.
In the modern era, perceived as the century of culture, the pure meaning of information in various medium is becoming extinct and the distinction between media and reality being faded away. Such phenomenon is called "simulracre". Gilles Deleuze defines "simulracre" as an event that passes by momentarily. To the modern people, the museum should be sublimated into a space that reflects not only the various surroundings but also education and should be a space that can provide diverse experiences. For museum exhibit communication, storytelling is a method that can meet the need of audience and take one step forward in educational and emotion aspect. Considering such relationship, "event" can be an evidence to build a space by establishing relations with subject and determine the meaning of space. First, characteristics of event and requisite and the theoretical view of storytelling will be examined, followed by the analysis of event storytelling by selecting Holocaust Museum which attempted a new approach that has dealt with what is important to the Jews: 'holocaust'. The purpose of this study is to identify how "event", not remaining as an abstract term, is being present in Holocaust Museum with a new spatial perspective, and to provide the public with a different set of thinking and experience.
The exhibition industry, as technology-intensive, eco-friendly industry, contributes to regional and national development and enhancement of its image as well, if it joins cultural and tourist industry. Therefore, We need to revitalize the exhibition industry, as actively holding an exhibition event. However, to attract a number of exhibition audience, the work of enhancing audience satisfaction and awareness of value for participation should be prioritized after improving quality of service within exhibition hall. As one way to enhance the quality of service, it is thought that the way providing personalized service geared toward each audience is needed. that is, if audience avoids the complexity in exhibition space and it affords them service to enable effective time and space management, it will improve the satisfaction. All such personalized service affordable lets the audience's preference on the basis of each audience profile registered in advance online grasp. and Based on this information, it is provided with exhibition-related information suited their purpose that is the booth for the interesting audience, the shortest path to go to the booth and event via audience's smart phone. and it collects audience's reaction information, such as visiting the booth, participating the event through offered the information in this way and location information for the flow of movement, the present position so that it makes revision of existing each audience profile. After correcting the information, it extracts the individual's preference. hereunder, it provides recommend booth and event information. in other words, it provides optimal information for individual by amendment based on reaction information about recommending information built on basic profile. It provides personalized service dynamic and interactive with audience. This paper will be able to provide the most suitable information for each audience through circular and interactive structure and designed smart-phone application supportable for updating dynamic and interactive personalized service that is able to afford surrounding information in real time, as locating movement position through sensing. The proposed application collects user‘s context information and carrys information gathering function collecting the reaction about searched or provided information via sensing. and it also carrys information gathering function providing needed data for user in exhibition hall. In other words, it offers information about recommend booth of position foundation for user, location-based services of recommend booth and involves service providing detailed information for inside exhibition by using service of augmented reality, the map of whole exhibition as well. and it is also provided with SNS service that is able to keep information exchange besides intimacy. To provide this service, application is consisted of several module. first of all, it includes UNS identity module for sensing, and contain sensor information gathering module handling and collecting the perceived information through this module. Sensor information gathered like this transmits the information gathering server. and there is exhibition information interfacing with user and this module transmits to interesting information collection module through user's reaction besides interface. Interesting information collection module transmits collected information and If valid information out of the information gathering server that brings together sensing information and interesting information is sent to recommend server, the recommend server makes recommend information through inference with gathered valid information. If this server transmit by exhibition information process, exhibition information process module is provided with user by interface. Through this system it raises the dynamic, intelligent personalized service for user.
As exhibition industry, which is a part of 17 new growth engines of the government, is related to other industries such as tourism, transportation and financial industries. So it has a significant ripple effect on other industries. Exhibition is a knowledge-intensive, eco-friendly and high value-added Industry. Over 13,000 exhibitions are held every year around the world which contributes to getting foreign currency. Exhibition industry is closely related with culture and tourism and could be utilized as local and national development strategies and improve national brand image as well. Many countries try various efforts to invigorate exhibition industry by arranging related laws and support system. In Korea, more than 200 exhibitions are being held every year, but only 2~3 exhibitions are hosted with over 400 exhibitors and except these exhibitions most exhibitions have few foreign exhibitors. The main reason of weakness of domestic trade show is that there are no agencies managing exhibitionrelated statistics and there is no specific and reliable evaluation. This might cause impossibility of providing buyer or seller with reliable data, poor growth of exhibitions in terms of quality and thus service quality of trade shows cannot be improved. Hosting a lot of visitors (Public/Buyer/Exhibitor) is very crucial to the development of domestic exhibition industry. In order to attract many visitors, service quality of exhibition and visitor's satisfaction should be enhanced. For this purpose, a variety of real-time customized services through digital media and the services for creating new customers and retaining existing customers should be provided. In addition, by providing visitors with personalized information services they could manage their time and space efficiently avoiding the complexity of exhibition space. Exhibition industry can have competitiveness and industrial foundation through building up exhibition-related statistics, creating new information and enhancing research ability. Therefore, this paper deals with customized service with visitor's smart-phone at the exhibition space and designing mobile framework which enables exhibition devices to interact with other devices. Mobile server framework is composed of three different systems; multi-server interaction, server, client, display device. By making knowledge pool of exhibition environment, the accumulated data for each visitor can be provided as personalized service. In addition, based on the reaction of visitors each of all information is utilized as customized information and so the cyclic chain structure is designed. Multiple interaction server is designed to have functions of event handling, interaction process between exhibition device and visitor's smart-phone and data management. Client is an application processed by visitor's smart-phone and could be driven on a variety of platforms. Client functions as interface representing customized service for individual visitors and event input and output for simultaneous participation. Exhibition device consists of display system to show visitors contents and information, interaction input-output system to receive event from visitors and input toward action and finally the control system to connect above two systems. The proposed mobile framework in this paper provides individual visitors with customized and active services using their information profile and advanced Knowledge. In addition, user participation service is suggested as well by using interaction connection system between server, client, and exhibition devices. Suggested mobile framework is a technology which could be applied to culture industry such as performance, show and exhibition. Thus, this builds up the foundation to improve visitor's participation in exhibition and bring about development of exhibition industry by raising visitor's interest.
The purpose of this study were to analyze the effects of a marine leisure exhibition event(MLEE)'s service quality dissatisfaction levels on complaining behaviors and repurchase intentions and thus to provide fundamental marketing information for the event to be more successful. In order to accomplish such study purposes, this study employed a survey method with a total of 350 visitors to a MLEE hosted by G Province in 2012. The data collected were analyzed using multiple regression analysis and following findings were derived from current study. First, levels of service quality dissatisfaction were ranged from 3.29 point to 3.85 point at 7 point Likert scale. Second, both environment and exhibition facility had a positive effect on visitors' complaining behaviors, and both employee and environment factors had a positive effect on non complaining behavior. Third, only exhibition facility had a negative effect on repurchase behaviors including revisit intention and recommendation intention. Finally, complaining behavior had a negative effect on recommendation intention as well as revisit intention. Such findings provide important marketing information for induce more visitors to a MLEE, which are an index for the event's performance.

The program of exhibition is used as one of the most effective ways to interact with users who are unfamiliar to archives. But, so far most exhibition programs in archives have been done in a way that shows simply the contents of records. So, in many cases, visitors of archives have paid little attention to the exhibition, and they have hardly caught the purpose of the exhibition event. Archives need to get out of existing exhibition style which list contents-oriented records, and to develop a new exhibition way which can enhance users' interests and understanding about exhibition records. For this purpose, this study examined the concepts and composition elements of record exhibition, analyzed the cases of archive exhibition in and out of Korea. And this study examined some considerations for the exhibitions of educational archives. As a result of this study, record exhibition ways for educational archives are provided.
The purpose of this study was to visualize the semantic network with big data related to food exhibition at convention center. For this, this study collected data containing 'coex food exhibition/bexco food exhibition' keywords from web pages and news on Google during one year from January 1 to December 31, 2016. Data were collected by using TEXTOM, a data collecting and processing program. From those data, degree centrality, closeness centrality, betweenness centrality and eigenvector centrality were analyzed by utilizing packaged NetDraw along with UCINET 6. The result showed that the web visibility of hospitality and destinations was high. In addition, the web visibility was also high for convention center programs, such as festival, exhibition, k-pop and event; hospitality related words, such as tourists, service, hotel, cruise, cuisine, travel. Convergence of iterated correlations showed 4 clustered named "Coex", "Bexco", "Nations" and "Hospitality". It is expected that this diagnosis on food exhibition at convention center according to changes in domestic environment by using these web information will be a foundation of baseline data useful for establishing convention marketing strategies.

2007 Design Festival on Seongnam Living Design has been held with the theme of "You and I, We" on the basis of harmony through design. This kind of theme has the main concepts as follows: Harmony- the exhibition program that can capture our mind, Communication-the experience program not through personal work but through group work, Design Seongnam-joyful Sungnam which we have made together by regional participation design project. Especially, it also has encouraged active and voluntary participation based on the promotion of the event and design exhibition that are hosted by the universities, elementary and secondary schools that represent the downtown Seongnam. In understanding Seongnam City, it has applied the plan introducing emotional process. These are the programs, which are reading, thinking, listening, watching, touching, making, and dreaming. Through the processes of being with Seongnam by participants, it has helped people know more about Seongnam, and focused on being the exhibition understanding the members of the community Seongnam.
