다열근 심부 및 표면 근섬유 두께에 대한 세 가지 요추안정화 운동의 효과 (Effects of Three Lumbar Stabilization Exercises on the Thickness of Deep and Superficial Fibers of the Lumbar Multifidus)

  • The lumbar multifidus muscle, which can be separated into deep fascicles (DM) and superficial fascicles (SM), is important for lumbar segmental stability. However, no previous studies have investigated the effect of lumbar stabilization exercises on the thickness of DM and SM. Thus, the purpose of this study was to assess DM thickness after three different lumbar segmental stabilization exercises. In total, 30 healthy male participants were recruited and randomly assigned to one of three exercise groups: hollowing in the quadruped position (H-Quad), contralateral arm and leg lift (CALL), and bilateral arm and leg lift (BALL). Each lumbar segmental stabilization exercise was conducted over 4 weeks. Ultrasonography was used to compare the DM and SM thickness before and after the 4 weeks of exercise. A mixed-model analysis of variance using Scheffe's post-hoc test was used for statistical analysis. The results showed a significant effect for the measurement time (before vs. after 4 weeks of exercise) in the DM (F=31.26, p<.05) and SM (F=4.56, p<.05). At the end of the 4 weeks, the DM thickness had increased significantly in the H-Quad exercise group, and the SM thickness had increased significantly in the CALL and BALL exercise groups. Also in the BALL exercise group, the SM thickness was greater compared with that in the H-Quad exercise group. These findings suggest that the thickness of the DM and SM were increased by different types of lumbar segmental stability exercise after 4 weeks.

대사증후군 노인의 운동지속 영향요인 (Factors affecting on maintenance of exercise among elderly with metabolic syndrome)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 대사증후군 노인의 운동유지 여부에 따라 운동유지에 대한 영향요인을 확인하기 위해 시행된 횡단적 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 대상자는 총 136명이며, 자료의 수집은 대사증후군 노인의 운동유지 영향요인을 알아보기 위해 운동유지, 운동기대감, 운동 관련 환경, 운동 사회적지지, 운동자기효능감에 대한 도구로 수집되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS Win 20.0 program을 사용하여 requency, X2, t-test, Logistic regression으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과 연령, 운동기대감, 운동자기효능감이 이들의 운동유지 영향요인임이 밝혀졌다. 이러한 결과는 대사증후군 노인의 운동유지를 위해서는 내적 동기에 해당하는 자기효능감을 함양시키고 운동기대감을 증진시키는 것이 중요하다고 할 수 있다. 또한 대사증후군 노인을 위한 건강증진프로그램을 계획할 때 운동에 대한 결과를 알려주고 이에 대한 이점을 부각시켜 스스로 운동을 잘 해낼 수 있도록 계획해야 하는 데에 본 연구결과가 기초자료로 활용할 수 있음이 기대된다.

산림 운동이 혈압, 심박수, 과산화지질, 항산화효소에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Excercise in a Forest Environment on Blood Pressure, Heart Rate, MDA and SOD)

  • 산림의 건강 기능은 최근 많은 사회적 관심을 끌고 있다. 본 연구는 6명의 실내 운동집단과 6명의 산림내 운동집단의 혈압, 심박수, 과산화지질, 항산화효소의 비교를 통하여 산림 내 운동이 인체의 생리 변화에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위하여 수행되었다. 12명의 참여자의 평균 연령은 40세 이상의 여성이었고, 운동 전 후 혈압 및 심박수의 측정과 채혈을 통하여 자료가 수집되었다. 자료의 분석 결과 산림 운동 시 이완기 혈압은 실내 운동 집단보다 현저하게 낮아졌다. 또한 산림 운동과 실내 운동 참여자의 심박수 및 과산화지질(MDA) 수준의 변화에서는 두 집단 간 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 그러나 항산화효소(SOD) 변화에서는 운동 후 안정 시 30분에 산림 운동 집단의 SOD 수준이 급격히 감소되는 변화를 보였다.

요부 안정화 운동에 따른 몸통 근육들의 근활성도 비교 (The Comparison of Trunk Muscle Activities During Sling and Mat Exercise)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the most effective spinal stabilization exercises program by comparing the activities of muscles contributing to spinal stabilization during four types of exercises using a sling and a mat. Twenty healthy males were recruited and each subjects performed four types of exercises. Exercise 1 was performed in a quadruped position with the subjects lifting the left arm and the opposite leg on the mat. Exercise 2 was performed in a prone position while holding a sling with the right hand and the left knee was fully extended while lifting the left arm and right leg. Exercise 3 was performed in quadruped position while holding a sling with one the right hand and lifting the opposite arm and leg. In exercise 4, subjects were instructed to maintain a balance push-up position while holding slings with both hands in 10 cm forward reaching with extended elbows. Electromyographic(EMG) activities were recorded from the multifidus, external oblique, internal oblique, abdominal rectus, and erector spinalis muscles during the exercises. The EMG amplitude of each muscle was normalized to the amplitude in the maximal voluntary isometric contraction (MVIC) of each muscle. Repeated ANOVA and Bonferroni's tests were used to compare the differences in the muscle activity according to the types of exercise. The EMG amplitudes of all the muscles were significantly different according to the types of exercises (p<.05). The highest EMG activities of each muscle was as follow; multifidus was 73.38%MVIC in exercise 3, the erector spinalis was 40.03%MVIC in exercise 3, the external oblique was 135.88%MVIC in exercise 4, the internal oblique was 128.60%MVIC in exercise 4, and the rectus abdominalis was 95.24%MVIC in Exercise 4. The types of exercises showed a significant difference in composition rate of EMG amplitudes of each muscle (p<.05). EMG composition rate of the multifidus was high in exercise 1 and 3. However, EMG composition rates of the external oblique, internal oblique, and the rectus abdominals were high in exercise 2 and 4. These results showed differences in EMG activities of muscles contributing to trunk stabilization during different therapeutic exercises. Therefore, the type of exercise should be carefully selected to effectively strengthen a specific trunk stabilizer.

비대면 중재 방법에 따른 노인성 근감소증의 개선에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Geriatric Sarcopenia by Non-face-to-face Intervention Method)

  • Purpose : This study was conducted to compare two non-face-to-face exercise interventions depending on whether mobile applications and wearable exercise aids are used to find out which interventions are more effective in improving senile sarcopenia. Ultimately, it was conducted to provide basic data for developing non-face-to-face intervention methods to improve sarcopenia. Method : In this study, 18 elderly sarcopenia and possible sarcopenia aged 65 or older were randomly assigned to the digital and self-exercise intervention groups. The digital exercise intervention group performed eight exercise programs with mobile applications and wearable exercise aids to record and manage the elderly performing the programs in real time. And the self-exercise intervention group performed the same program on its own as implemented in the digital exercise group. The intervention was applied for 8 weeks, and before and after the intervention, sarcopenia evaluation and physical function evaluation were performed. Results : In the digital exercise intervention group, arm muscle mass, skeletal muscle index, SPPB, 5TSTS, and BBS were improved, and in the self-exercise intervention group, grip strength, SPPB, 5TSTS, and BBS were improved. Conclusion : It was confirmed that both groups are effective in improving physical performance and physical function, the digital exercise intervention is effective in improving muscle mass and self-exercise intervention is effective in improving muscle strength. Therefore, this study proposes to apply intervention methods separately according to the indicators to improve and prevent sarcopenia, and also simplify the instructions of applications used to improve sarcopenia and to create an environment where users can be trained regularly on how to use it. And, In the future, studies for the development of devices to be designed to help non-face-to-face exercise interventions or studies on the differences between face-to-face and non-face-to-face exercise interventions should be conducted in terms of the effect of improving sarcopenia.

지체장애인의 운동참여제약 측정척도 개발 -요인구조 탐색과 준거관련타당도 검증- (Developing a Scale for Measuring the Constraints in Physical Activity of People with Physical Disabilities - Verification of Factor Structure and Related Criterion Validity -)

  • 이 연구는 지체장애인의 운동참여제약을 측정할 수 있는 운동참여제약 측정도구(Constraints in Physical Activity Scale for people with physical Disabilities: CPASD)를 개발하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 이 연구에서는 Messick(1995)의 통합적 타당도, Benson(1998)의 강력한 구인타당도 프로그램 틀을 기반으로 한 다섯 가지 단계로 연구를 설계하였고, 지체장애인 264명을 대상으로 공통요인모형과 측정모형을 적용하여 CPASD의 타당도 증거를 체계적으로 제시하였다. 이 연구의 결과와 논의를 토대로 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, CPASD는 구인타당도의 증거를 제시하였다. 요인구조의 해석가능성과 요인계수의 적합성을 통해 지도자 제약, 경제적 제약, 편견, 운동환경 제약으로 구성된 4요인, 17개 문항으로 개발되었다. 둘째, 개발된 CPASD의 요인구조(지도자제약, 경제적제약, 편견, 운동환경제약)는 통계적으로 구분됨과 동시에, 기존 운동참여제약 관련 이론을 안정적으로 반영하였다. 셋째, 개발된 CPASD는 준거관련타당도 증거를 제시하였다. 지도자제약, 편견은 긍정적 운동정서와 부적인 상관관계를, 지도자제약, 편견, 운동환경제약은 부정적 운동정서와 정적인 상관관계를 나타내었다. 따라서 후속 연구에서는 CPASD의 요인로 도출된 지도자제약, 경제적제약, 편견, 운동환경제약과 관련된 현재의 제도, 실태 등을 재평가할 필요성이 대두되고, 이를 위해 CPASD를 활용한 인과관계검증, IRT 이론을 적용한 현실 수준정도를 판단할 필요가 있다.

GIS를 이용한 도시민의 야외 운동장소 접근 특성 분석 - 서울시 공원의 운동기구 사용자를 중심으로 - (Characteristics of Citizens' Access to Outdoor Exercise Places by Using the GIS - Focused on the Users of the Outdoor Exercise Equipment Installed in Parks, Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the accessibility to the place for outdoor exercise. For that, the departure (resident) location of the users of outdoor exercise equipment within 12 parks in Seoul have been investigated. A total of 1,733 people have been surveyed during the two-week period between Aug.2 and Aug. 15 and 815 cases were analyzed. We also investigated demographic characteristics, access method and related factors such as location, climate and visiting time. The results were coded through ArcGis program and the accessibility to each exercise location, difference in regional accessibility and accessibility characteristics in terms of climate and time have been analyzed. The results are as follows: First, visitors to the Han River start from the places further than the visitors to the streamlines. Second, the average moving distance is longer for the users aged under-60 than for the users aged 60 and over to reach the exercise place. And the average moving distance for visitors to the Han River destination is the longest with 748 meters, followed by 203 meters for general parks and 92 meters for streamline parks, respectively. Third, in each non-waterfront parks, the moving distance by users under-60 was longer by about 230 meters than that by users 60 and over. Fourth, exercisers in the weekend travel more by 244 meters than those during the midweek users to reach the exercise place. Fifth, the number of visitors to the Han River increased in the weekend while visitors to the streamlines decreased in the same period. Sixth, the traveling length for bicycle users is three times as much as that for pedestrian visitors. And the departure locations of bicycle users were more widely distributed.

가상현실 운동 자세 트레이닝을 위한 피드백 설계 및 효과 연구 (A Study on the Design and Effect of Feedback for Virtual Reality Exercise Posture Training)

  • 코어운동의 운동 효과를 높이기 위해서는 정확한 자세로 운동 하는 것이 중요하다. 본 논문은 가상현실 환경에서 코어 운동을 하는 사용자가 정확한 자세를 취할 수 있도록 피드백을 제공하여 운동 자세를 트레이닝 할 수 있는 시스템을 소개한다. 스쿼트, 런지, 브릿지의 총 3가지 코어 운동 자세를 대상으로 하였으며, 정확한 자세를 취할 수 있도록 시각 피드백과 촉각 피드백을 사용자에게 제공한다. 전문가의 자세를 사용자의 신체 길이에 맞게 조정하여 기준 자세를 생성하며, 사용자의 운동 자세를 기준 자세와 비교하여 운동 자세의 정확도를 계산한다. 사용자 실험을 통해 피드백의 효과를 입증하였으며, 피드백의 설계에 따른 트레이닝 효과를 비교하였다.

관찰기법을 이용한 도시민의 야외 운동장소 이용특성 분석 - 이용 시간과 공간을 중심으로 - (Analysis on the Time and Spacial Characteristic of Citizen Outdoor Activity)

  • This study has observed 12 parks (20 spots) in Seoul to know the number of users, gender, age groups for the units of 30 minutes from 06:00AM till 10:00PM. According to the systematic characteristic of the surveyed outdoor exercise place, the details of their users during the summer time were analyzed from the objective viewpoint. Major results of analysis are as follows: Firstly, in case of the riverside of the Han River 07:00AM marked a mini peak and 21:00PM reached the peak, and in case of sub-stream neighborhoods, 21:00PM showed only one peak. On the other hand, in case of neighborhood parks (including pocket park) no peak time was noticeable. Secondly, in case of the riverside of the Han River and the neighborhoods of sub-streams, people used the exercise equipment remarkably at night, and in case of neighborhood parks people used the exercise equipment a little bit more in the morning than in the afternoon. Thirdly, in case of nights in summer the riverside of the Han River was preferred by men, while the neighborhoods of sub-streams were preferred by women and the neighborhood parks showed no difference in the number of users among men and women. Fourthly, differently from men, women do not regard the exercise so seriously as men and their purpose of using outdoor exercise place is to use their leisure time mostly with their family members or neighbors, and women prefer light and comfortable exercises. Fifthly, in summer even those who like to exercise a lot like to exercise in the morning to avoid summer heat. Therefore, provision of shades in summer is very important.

운동재활프로그램 참여자의 건강인지, 주관적 삶의 질, 운동지속의사의 관계 (Relationship between health cognition, subjective quality of life, and intention to continue exercise among exercise rehabilitation program participants)

  • 본 연구는 운동재활프로그램 참여자의 건강인지, 주관적 삶의 질, 운동지속의사의 관계를 검증하기 위하여 수도권 소재 병원 및 스포츠센터 등에 재활의 목적으로 운동프로그램에 참여하는 사람을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 조사는 센터의 협조를 통하여 연구자가 목적 및 설문에 대한 정보를 상세히 설명하고, 동의 후 총 228부 중 신뢰성이 없다고 판단한 24부를 제외한 204부를 대상으로 하였다. 수집된 자료는 빈도분석, 기술통계, 요인분석과 신뢰도 분석을 실시하였으며, 잠재변인 간 관계 파악을 위해 상관분석과 회귀분석을 적용하였다. 분석한 결과 운동재활프로그램 참여자의 건강인지의 정도와 주관적 삶의 질, 운동지속의 관계에는 유의미한 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 향후 건강인지의 수준을 높일 수 있는 방안이 필요하며, 개인의 물리적 환경 및 사회적 환경을 고려한 후속연구가 필요하다고 사료된다.
