안정 지지면과 슬링을 이용한 교각 자세에서 양발지지와 한발지지 동작 시 복부 근육 두께 비교 (Comparison of Abdominal Muscles Thickness During Both-Foot Support and One-Foot Support Motion in Bridge Exercises Using the Stable Surface and Sling)

  • Purposed: This study was conducted to find out by ultrasonic waves the thickness change of the deep abdominal muscles, such as transverse abdominal, internal oblique and external oblique when performing general bridge exercise on the stable surface (GBE), single-legged bridge exercise on the stable surface (BES), bridge exercise with a sling (SBE) and single-legged bridge exercise with a sling (SBS). Methods: The subject, 33 healthy adults(18 men and 15 women) in their 20s of V university in J city were subjected to take four postures of GBE, BES, SBE, and SBS. When performing each posture, the thickness of transverse abdominal, internal oblique and external oblique were measured by ultrasonic waves and analyzed by repeated measures of ANOVA. This significance level was set to be p<.05. Results: Muscle thickness was increased in the order of BES, SBE, and GBE in the external oblique, resulting in statistically significant differences(p<.001). The internal oblique was significantly thicker in SBE and SBS rather than in GBE, and was thicker in SBE and SBS rather than in BES (p<.01). The thickness of the transverse abdominal was significantly increased in SBS than in GBE (p<.01). Conclusion: As the result, it may be more effective for the trunk stabilization exercises to activate the internal oblique and transverse abdominal by applying both-legged or single-legged bridge exercise in slings.

로잉운동의 부하편차 방식 적용에 따른 상하지 생체 역학적 평가 (Evaluation of Bio-Mechanical Character istics According to Loading Deviation Methods dur ing Rowing Exercise)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the validation of exercise effect with loading deviation during rowing exercise. We performed evaluation of based physical fitness and joint torque before the experiment for finding muscle unbalance. So we recruited twenty four subjects who have bigger muscle strength in more 20% than average one. Subjects divided two groups. One is dominant upper limbs(DU) and the other was dominant lower limbs(DL). Subjects performed rowing exercise using electric equipment (Robo.gym.Humonic.korea). Exercise is performed four sets a day including 25 times a set, and three days a week. Measurement consist of evaluation of based physical fitness and joint torque using biodex(biodex system3.USA). Evaluation of exercise effect performed each week in joint torque of shoulder, lumbar and knee joint and each month in based physical fitness. Also we adapted 30% of 1RM for muscular endurance and 70% of 1RM for muscle strength as exercise load. The results showed that the difference of maximal peak torque were getting increase significantly during exercise. Also difference of various factor in based physical fitness were getting increase significantly except flexibility and agility. This interpreted that rowing exercise with loading deviation types could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise in same time. These results could be interpret to two ways. One is effect of improving physical fitness for rowing exercise and the other meaned validation of loading deviation in rowing exercise. Our study is going to verify the validation of loading deviation during rowing and we found out that loading deviation could provide muscle strength and muscular endurance exercise for improving muscle unbalance. Our study can be used development of exercise equipment and program for normal people with muscle unbalance. Also that provide effect of whole body exercise to anybody.

만성 역학적 목 통증을 가진 환자에게 도수치료만 적용할 때와 도수치료와 안정화운동을 함께 적용할 때 목 통증과 신체기능에 미치는 효과 비교 (A Comparison of The Effects of Manual Therapy Plus Stabilization Exercise with Manual Therapy Alone in Patients with Chronic Mechanical Neck Pain)

  • PURPOSE: This study aimed to compare the effects of manual therapy with stabilization exercises to manual therapy alone, on neck pain and body functions in patients with chronic mechanical neck pain. METHODS: Twenty patients with chronic mechanical neck pain were recruited and randomly allocated into two groups. A control group(n = 10) was given the manual therapy alone and an experimental group(n = 10) was given the manual therapy with stabilization exercises. The intervention was carried out 3 days per week for 4 weeks. The cervical resting pain, the most painful motion pain, craniocervical flexor endurance, forward head posture and neck disability index were used to assess participants at baseline and after 4 weeks. RESULTS: A comparison of the parameters before and after the intervention showed that both groups experienced significant improvements in the resting pain, the most painful motion pain, craniocervical flexor endurance, and forward head posture except for the forward head posture in the control group. A comparison of the parameters between the groups did not show a significant difference. CONCLUSION: The results of this study suggest that the combined intervention of manual therapy with stabilization exercise does not seem to be more effective than manual therapy alone for improving neck pain, craniocervical flexor endurance, forward head posture, and the neck disability index in patients with chronic mechanical neck pain.

OpenPose기반 딥러닝을 이용한 운동동작분류 성능 비교 (Performance Comparison for Exercise Motion classification using Deep Learing-based OpenPose)

  • 최근 인간의 자세와 행동을 추적하는 행동 분석 연구가 활발해지고 있다. 특히 2017년 CMU에서 개발한 오픈소스인 오픈포즈(OpenPose)는 사람의 외모와 행동을 추정하는 대표적인 방법이다. 오픈포즈는 사람의 키, 얼굴, 손 등의 신체부위를 실시간으로 감지하고 추정할 수 있어 스마트 헬스케어, 운 동 트레이닝, 보안시스템, 의료 등 다양한 분야에 적용될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 헬스장에서 사용자들이 가장 많이 운동하는 Squat, Walk, Wave, Fall-down 4개 동작을 오픈포즈기반 딥러닝인 DNN과 CNN을 이용하여 운동 동작 분류 방법을 제안한다. 학습데이터는 녹화영상 및 실시간으로 카메라를 통해 사용자의 동작을 캡처해서 데이터 셋을 수집한다. 수집된 데이터 셋은 OpenPose을 이용하여 전처리과정을 진행하고, 전처리과정이 완료된 데이터 셋은 본 논문에서 제안한 DNN 및 CNN 모델 이용하여 운동 동작 분류를 학습한다. 제안한 모델에 대한 성능 오차는 MSE, RMSE, MAE를 사용한다. 성능 평가 결과, 제안한 DNN 모델 성능이 제안한 CNN 모델보다 우수한 것으로 나타났다.

3차원 척추 안정화 운동이 고령자의 체간 근력 및 신체구성에 미치는 효과 (The Effect of 3-D Spine Stabilization Training on Trunk Muscle Strength and Body Composition in Elderly)

  • 본 연구에서는 3차원 척추 안정화 운동이 고령자의 체간 근력 및 신체 구성 변화에 미치는 효과에 대해 검증하고자 하였다. 피험자는 건강한 65세 이상 고령자 40명(훈련군 20명, 대조군 20명)으로 구성하였다. 피험자는 실험 전 후 척추안정화 훈련 장치를 이용하여 8가지 방향에 대한 근력 평가를 수행하였다. 또한 체성분 분석기를 이용하여 신체 구성 변화에 대한 평가를 수행하였다. 훈련군은 척추 안정화 훈련 시스템에서 방향성 훈련(F, FOR, R, BOR, B, BOL, L, FOL)을 제공하였으며, 탄력 밴드 운동, 근력 강화 체조, 걷기 운동으로 구성된 복합운동을 30분간 수행하였다. 대조군은 척추 안정화 운동을 제외한 복합운동을 실시하였으며, 모든 훈련은 주 3회, 총 8주간 실시하였다. 그 결과 훈련군은 체간 근력이 실험 전 79.9점에서 8주 후 85.6점으로 유의하게 증가하는 결과를 보였으며, 신체구성에서도 체중 감소, 체지방 감소, BMI 지수 감소 등의 결과를 나타내었다. 반면, 대조군의 경우 체간 근력의 변화는 없었지만 골격근량 증가, 체지방 감소 등의 운동 효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 결과는 척추 안정화 운동이 고령자의 체간 근력 및 신체구성 발달을 유도하여 고령자의 비만 및 낙상 예방에 도움이 될 것으로 판단된다. 향후 이러한 데이터를 기반으로 척추 안정화 훈련기기와 복합운동을 조합하여 고령자들에게 효과적인 재활 운동 프로그램 개발에 응용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

노인주택 계획을 위한 예비노년층의 건강의식 및 행위조사 (Analysis of the occupants' opinions and behaviors related to health issues for senior housing planning)

  • To design senior housing that support residents' health is one of the comtemporary issues in Korea. As elderly people became more healthful and reach, people became interested in the health and health promotion. This trend encouraged this research study. The objectives of this study are: to analyze the middle aged people's opinions and behaviors related to health issues, and to suggest design considerations for senior housing. The survey used questionnaire from 476 residents living in Seoul and Gyeong-Gi area. The analysis used descriptive statistics, one-way anova and t-test. Primary findings are as follows: (1) Most of the respondents considered that their health state is 'good' and mental health is more important than physical health. (2) Many people exercise regularly for the promotion of health at a gym. (3) Results show that social relationship effect on health, and dietary life and walking medical examination account highly. (4) As the respondents are higher income and education level, the health-related behavior is more actively. Moreover the respondents who are women feel a great interest about health issues. These results suggest directions for planning of the senior housing. (1) Planning the space for the health-promoting behavior in the house or support a private gym-not a local facilities-. (2) Service for the information related health issues - medical examination, news of the health issues (3) Support the maintenance a good - social relationship (4) Consideration the space with health-related behavior like walking and dietary-life. The senior housing can reflect the health-related opinions and support health-related behavior of the elderly people.

Comparison of Lower Extremity Muscle Activity during the Deep Squat Exercise Using Various Tools

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of assistance tools such as gym balls, wedges, and straps on lower extremity muscle activity and the increase in the range of motion made possible by the use of these tools. The subjects were divided into two groups: a group capable of deep-squatting (PS) and the second finding it impossible or having difficulty in performing such squats (IS). Methods: Twenty-three subjects participated in this study. Surface electromyography was used to measure the muscle activation of the rectus femoris (RF), vastus medialis (VM), and tibialis anterior (TA) muscles during deep squats, normal squats (NS), gym ball squats (GS), wedge squats (WS), and strap squats (SS). A motion analysis system was used to measure the range of motion of the knee joint during each of these exercises. Results: There was a significant difference in the RF muscle activity between the possible squat (PS) and the impossible squat (IS) groups in the GS, and there were significant differences in the RF and TA muscle activity between the groups in the WS. Both the PS group and the IS group showed a significant difference in the TA muscle activity depending on the tool used. There were also significant differences in the range of motion of the knee joints between the intervention methods using NS and those using the tools. Conclusion: In both groups, the muscle activity of the TA muscles was lower when GS, WS, and SS were performed compared to NS. In addition, compared to NS, the range of motion of the knee joint increased when the three tools were used. This study shows that the activity of the RF, VM, and TA muscles decreased and the range of motion of the knee joint increased during deep squats for both the PS and IS groups when tools were used.

  • Walking is the first thing an infant wants to do and the last thing an old person wants to give up. Walking is the exercise that does not need a gym. It is the prescription without medicine, the weight control without diet, and the cosmetic that can't be found in a chemist. It is the tranquillizer without a pill, the therapy without a psychoanalyst, and the holiday that does not cost a penny. What's more, it does not pollute, consumers few natural resources and is highly efficient. Walking is convenient, it needs no special equipment, is self-regulating and inherently safe.   • VR 헬스장은 시간적 부담과 이동이 힘든 사람들이 운동을 편안하고 정확한 자세로 할 수 있도록 온라인 헬스와 VR 기기를 접목한 가상현실 기반의 헬스케어 시스템이다. tof 센서가 장착되어 있는 카메라를 통해 주변 지형지물과 실제 몸의 움직이는 모션 정보를 정확하게 전달하여 원하는 장소에서 정확한 자세로 PT를 받을 수 있도록 한다. 원하는 시간과 장소에서 하고 싶은 운동을 할 수 있게 제공하여 시공간에 제약받는 사람도 꾸준한 운동을 통해 건강관리가 가능하여 운동하는 사람이 증가하는 것에 의의가 있다.

유방암 생존자의 장기간 복합 운동중재에 따른 기능적 체력과 골밀도의 변화 (The Change of Functional Fitness and Bone Mineral Density on a Long-Term Combined Exercise Intervention in Breast Cancer Survivors.)

  • 본 연구는 유방암 절제술을 받은 40-60대의 기혼 중년을 대상으로 복합운동을 1년간 실시하여 골다공증약과 운동을 병행한 군과 운동군으로 나누어 기능적 체력과 골밀도에 미치는 효과를 분석하고 이에 따른 효과적인 운동프로그램의 기초 자료를 제공하는데 있다. 대상자총 24명을 두군으로 나누어, 이중 18명은 골다공증 범위(T-score=$-2.2{\pm}0.8$)에 있으며 복합운동만을 실시하였다. 나머지 6명은 골다공증진단(T-score=$-4.6{\pm}0.9$)을 받고 골다공증약(Alendronate 70 mg/주 당)을 처방 받아 복용하면서 복합운동을 병행하여 실시하였다. 본 연구 결과, 기능적 체력 요소 중 좌전굴, 악력, 윗몸일으키기에서는 시기간에 유의한 향상을 보였다. 12개월 후, 골 밀도의 변화는 복합운동군(N=18)에서는 변화가 없었으며, 복합운동과 골다공증약 복용(N=6)을 병행하고 있는 그룹은 유의한 개선을 나타냈다. 따라서 하타요가, 탄성밴드 및 볼 운동이 포함된 장기간 점진적 강도의 복합운동프로그램이 유방암절제술 여성의 기능적 체력의 개선 및 골밀도 지연에 효과가 있었고, 특히 운동과 골다공증약을 병행한 그룹에서 골다공증개선에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으므로, 유방암 수술 후 회복기 운동프로그램으로 적극 활용할 수 있도록 제안한다. 앞으로 대상자 수를 늘려 골다공증약과 운동과의 병행관계를 심층적으로 연구하고, 유방암 수술 후 운동중재프로그램의 유형 및 강도를 달리하여 유방암과 골밀도 및 운동과의 관련성을 연구 해 볼 필요가 있겠다.
