This work, which was about the synthesis of 3-(1,8-Naphthalimido) propyl methacrylate and GMA copolymers and their physical properties, investigated the compositions of the copolymer, the reactivity ratios of the monomer, resonance effect(Q), polar effect(e) and fluorescence effect of 1,8-naphthalicanhydride. Azobisisobutyronitronitryl(AIBN) as an initiator was employed at $60^{\circ}C$ with dimethylformamide(DMF) of solvent for the copolymerization of NIPM. $r_1$ was found to be higher than $r_2$ from the reactivity ratios of the monomer obtained from F-R and K-T methods. NIPM was found to be more copolymerized than GMA. The fluorescence spectrums of these polymers showed a weak monomer fluorescence band at 380 nm and a strong excimer fluorescence band at about 460 nm.
In this paper, we have researched the depth of focus (DOF) and cutoff intensity of the $0.1{\mu}m$rule dense line'||'&'||'space pattern according to the various off-axis illumination (OAl) conditions in the optical system of 0.65 NA using ArF excimer laser (193 nm). We have also studied the variation of the DOF and cutoff intensity according to the sub-resolution pattern (hammer head type) size for optical proximity correction (OPC) applied to the capacitor pattern and the various OAl conditions in the same optical system. As a result, it is revealed that the cross type quadrupole or annular illumination is preferred to the conventional X type quadrupole for printing the $0.1{\mu}m$ rule dense pattern. Also, we can investigate the optimal illumination condition and the size of ope sub-resolution pattern to keep a consistent DGF and cutoff intensity trends.

GaN nanoparticles were synthesized by the pulsed laser deposition (PLD) process on $SiO_2$substrate after irradiating the surface of the GaN sintered pellet by the ArF (193 nm) excimer laser. At this moment Ar gas pressure of 100 Pa, 50 Pa, 10 Pa and 1 Pa were applied during the ablation process and laser power of 100 mJ and 200 mJ were also applied. The synthesized fan nanoparticles were characterized by XRD, SEM, TEM, XPS and optical absorption spectra. The synthesized GaN nanoparticles had the crystallite sizes of 20~30 nm, and besides, GaN nanoparticles synthesized under low Ar gas pressure compared to the others corresponded with stoichiometry, and the optical band edge of the GaN nanoparticles was blueshifted.
Low temperature polycrystalline silicon (LTPS) technology using a high power laser have been widely applied to thin film transistors (TFTs) for liquid crystal, organic light emitting diode (OLED) display, driver circuit for system on glass (SOG) and static random access memory (SRAM). Recently, the semiconductor industry is continuing its quest to create even more powerful CPU and memory chips. This requires increasing of individual device speed through the continual reduction of the minimum size of device features and increasing of device density on the chip. Moreover, the flat panel display industry also need to be brighter, with richer more vivid color, wider viewing angle, have faster video capability and be more durable at lower cost. Kornic Systems Co., Ltd. developed the $KORONA^{TM}$ LTP/GLTP series - an innovative production tool for fabricating flat panel displays and semiconductor devices - to meet these growing market demands and advance the volume production capabilities of flat panel displays and semiconductor industry. The $KORONA^{TM}\;LTP/GLTP$ series using DPSS laser and XeCl excimer laser is designed for the new generation of the wafer & FPD glass annealing processing equipment combining advanced low temperature poly-silicon (LTPS) crystallization technology and object-oriented software architecture with a semistandard graphical user interface (GUI). These leading edge systems show the superior annealing ability to the conventional other method. The $KORONA^{TM}\;LTP/GLTP$ series provides technical and economical benefits of advanced annealing solution to semiconductor and FPD production performance with an exceptional level of productivity. High throughput, low cost of ownership and optimized system efficiency brings the highest yield and lowest cost per wafer/glass on the annealing market.

A new method to form the double structured active layers of a-Si/a-SiN$_{x}$ of polycrystalline thin film transistor is proposed and poly-Si TFTs employed double structure active film are fabricated. Nitrogen ions were added to bottom amorphous silicon active film(a-SiN$_{x}$ ) and pure a-Si film deposition on a-SiN$_{x}$ was followed. The XeCl excimer laser was irradiated to crystallize double structure active film. The grain growth of upper a-Si film was also promoted in the double structured active layers of a-Si/a-SiN$_{x}$ due to the mitigation of solidification process of lower a-SiN$_{x}$ layer. Our experimental results show that the ratio of NH$_3$/SiH$_4$ is required to maintain below 0.11 for the reduction of contact resistance of n$^{+}$ poly-SiN$_{x}$ layer.r.
We have investigated output characteristics of XeCI excimer laser excited by transeverse electronbeam. We used e-beam output of 880 kV, 21 kA (70 ns, FWHM) and controlled current density of e-beam by pulsed magnetic coil (4.7 kG) which was fabricated around an e-beam diode (A-K gap is 21 mm) and laser chamber. We have obtained 35 J (4 atm) of e-beam deposition energy injected into laser media. The deposition energy was converted from an exposure area of Radcolor film and rising pressure of gas media which is measured by pressure jump method. The excited volume of $320cm^{3}$ was calculated. The maximum efficiency of 1.7% was obtained with the mixing ratio of HCllXe/Ar==0.2/ 6.3/93.5% and total pressure of 3 atm. Also laser output energy and specific energy were obtained 0.52 J and 1.7 J/I, respectively. For the analysis of experimental results we have developed computer simulation code. From the good agreements with the results of experiment and simulation we could theoretically explain the XeCI* formation channel. relaxation channel, and absorption channel of 308 nm.308 nm.

Planar images of OH and $O_{2}$ with tunable KrF excimer laser which has a) 0.5 $cm^{-1}$ / linewidth, b) 0.5 nm tuning range, c) 150 mJ pulse energy, and d) 20 ns pulse width are obtained to determine spatial distributions of OH and $O_{2}$ in premixed $C_{3}$H$_{8}$ /O$_{2}$ flame. The technique is based on planar laser induced pre-dissociative fluorescence(PLIPF) in which collisional quenching is almost avoided because of the fast pre-dissociation. Dispersed LIPF spectra of OH and $O_{2}$ are also measured in a flame in order to confirm the excitation of single vibronic state of OH and $O_{2}$, OH and $O_{2}$ are excited on the P$_{2}$(8) line of the $A^{2}$.SIGMA.$^{+}$(v'= 3)-X$^{2}$.PI.(v'||'||'&'||'||'quot;= 0) band and R(17) line of the Schumann-Runge band B$^{3}$.SIGMA.$_{u}$$^{[-10]}$ (v'= 0)- X$^{3}$.SIGMA.$_{g}$$^{[-10]}$ (v'||'||'&'||'||'quot;= 6), respectively. Dispersed OH and $O_{2}$ spectra show an excellent agreement with simulated spectrum and previous works done by other group respectively. It is confirmed that OH widely distributed around flame front area than $O_{2}$.

The planar type flexible piezoelectric energy harvesters (PEH) based on PbZr0.52Ti0.48O3 (PZT) thin films on the flexible substrates are demonstrated to convert mechanical energy to electrical energy. The planar type energy harvesters have been realized, which have an electrode pair on the PZT thin films. The PZT thin films were deposited on double side polished sapphire substrates using conventional RF-magnetron sputtering. The PZT thin films on the sapphire substrates were transferred by PDMS stamp with laser lift-off (LLO) process. KrF excimer laser (wavelength: 248nm) were used for the LLO process. The PDMS stamp was attached to the top of the PZT thin films and the excimer laser induced onto back side of the sapphire substrate to detach the thin films. The detached thin films on the PDMS stamp transferred to adhesive layer coated on the flexible polyimide substrate. Structural properties of the PZT thin films were characterized using X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). To measure piezoelectric power generation characteristics, Au/Cr inter digital electrode (IDE) was formed on the PZT thin films using the e-beam evaporation. The ferroelectric and piezoelectric properties were measured by a ferroelectric test system (Precision Premier-II) and piezoelectric force microscopy (PFM), respectively. The output signals of the flexible PEHs were evaluated by electrometer (6517A, Keithley). In the result, the transferred PZT thin films showed the ferroelectric and piezoelectric characteristics without electrical degradation and the fabricated flexible PEHs generated an AC-type output power electrical energy during periodically bending and releasing motion. We expect that the flexible PEHs based on laser transferred PZT thin film is able to be applied on self-powered electronic devices in wireless sensor networks technologies. Also, it has a lot of potential for high performance flexible piezoelectric energy harvester.
